I'm Rebecca, Rebecca Riddle, though some people teasingly call me the Marshmallow-- because I'm kind of pleasantly plump. If you met me on the street, you wouldn't think too much about it. I'm just your ordinary college freshman human-turned-pegasus, in a world of both humans and ponies. I dance to music, love to draw, write stories, and play my kazoo, nothing out of the ordinary at all.

But I lead a double life that only a few know about. It is hard trying to keep the two parts of my life separated. By day I'm Rebecca Riddle, but when I sleep at night, I'm something much more, something beyond comprehension; but awake or asleep, I always try to keep smiling-- even when it is tough to smile.

1000 years the ponies have prayed for a saviour to deliver them, whether it was their long lost sun goddess Celestia, or even Nightmare Moon, maybe even the chaos lord Discord, anypony! After suffering under the yoke of a tyrant god for so long, they decided any saviour will do, even a dark demonic overlord. One unicorn sorceress finally decides to take matters into her own hooves. She sets out to the frozen ruins of a long lost Empire in the Crystal Mountains bearing a grand sacrifice of 1000 ponies in an attempt to summon the dark demonic overlord of the Crystal Empire.

When the dark ritual turned up a blank, the universe decides to shuffle in the next best thing. Will he rise up to the expectations of his newfound flock? He'd better, and quickly, for the tyrant god's inquisition is out to get him and the 1000 'blasphemers' involved in his summoning. With a nation to build and an evil tyrant god to fight, never has there been a taller order to fill. But it's alright, he's a dark demonic overlord, right? He quickly finds that with some smokes and mirrors and the help of 1000 very magical ponies, anyone can look the part, even an entirely magic-inert pizza delivery dude.

First, bronies become characters from the show. I, along with most of the world, am not cut in for all this drama. Of course, I don't get to chose the fate behind who becomes ponies next. After a few self-injuries hoping to wake up followed by some screaming sessions, I'm now in the body of a pony who's ego challenges Rainbow Dash's (which, until now, I never thought possible). Now, I (am forced to) set off on a journey to New York while making new friends and whatnot...Yeah, I know. Nothing's that simple. It never is. You know those moments when you feel like the world is completely against you for the hell of it? Wake me up when luck runs in my favor.

Part of the PonyEarthverse. If you have not heard of the PonyEarthverse, I highly recommend looking into it before checking out my story. Remember, the events of the story take place BEFORE season 3. This is prior to 'Wonderbolt Academy'. The main character and everyone else will treat Lightning Dust as a background pony.

These are only a few of the questions that have plagued Twilight Sparkle. They have robbed her of many a night's rest, and she has had no fortune in finding the answers in any book.

Yet when all hope seems lost, she finds them in her former enemy. Unfortunately, he can't answer her questions without giving her a "little" background. So, with Twilight listening attentively, Discord recalls the times that only he and the Sisters remember.

But there are some things even the Princesses don't know; things that have been sealed away with him for a thousand years. From the Creation of the Elements of Harmony to the Secrets of Star Swirl the Bearded, from the Reign of Discord to the Fall of the Crystal Empire, Twilight finds the answers to questions she didn't even realize she had, and discovers shocking secrets of the past, and the many ponies involved.

NOTE: Chapter Five is in the process of being revamped. Future chapters will begin once the revamp is completed.

After seeing something that he's certain can't be real, Equitech CEO Caesar seals himself away, researching, comparing, analyzing, seeing no one. After weeks, he eventually lets five trusted friends in on his findings. The result is a tyrannical spin on their world which sets them down a path battling the enigmatic Game Master, from which none of them will return unchanged, and some may not return at all.

Just a heads-up, the dark tag doesn't really apply until the later chapters. All central characters are actual ponies that have appeared in the background of episodes way back in season 1 and onward, not OCs.

The Everfree Forest. Most ponies do not dare to enter it, yet it maintains a vague sense of mystery and wonder that has yet to be discovered in its entirety.

One day, Rarity enlists Applejack on a venture into the Everfree to retrieve a rare bit of silk. But what else will they find when they're deep in the thick of the trees? What friendship bonds will they discover when the forest brings them closer together?

Alex Harper's life is one spent alone, until he's thrown into Equestria and, literally, crash-lands in Twilight Sparkle's library. In his search to return home, Alex finds that some of this land is much more enigmatic then he first thought. While some moments are spent learning about this new world and its inhabitants, others are much more eventful then what Alex expects. Then, there's that bitter hatred he receives from Princess Luna.

With trying to return to Earth, a psychotic businessman hellbent on driving him insane, and an alicorn princess that wants to almost stomp his bones into dust, Alex is going to have to be prepared for anything this world throws at him.

Takes place after "Keep Calm..." and before Twilight's coronation.

After years and years of serving ponies across Equestria, after defeating Discord and after restoring Harmony, Princess Luna is happy with her life. She understands that ponies need to use her night to prepare for their coming day, and she lives content with the knowledge that they all can appreciate her nights like she does if they so wish.

Come some careless remarks and ill timed events, Luna begins to doubt herself and the value ponies place in her night. As has been done before, this is a story detailing the fall of Luna from grace and of her becoming the villainess known as Nightmare Moon.

As is my policy, OC's are background characters only and but one appears to fill out the ranks of the cast (Luna, Celestia, Blueblood's ancestor and Starswirl the bearded would be a small cast, no?).

As this is my first serious story, I would greatly appreciate any feedback I could receive.

Her third trip to Equestria was supposed to be dull, just “cultural summer school” writ large. Dozens of dedicated bureaucrats had burned the midnight candle to insure that this would be the case. After all, no one, including her, wanted too much excitement this time.

So it was too bad that neither Teelo nor the civil services of two Equisian governments had anticipated her best friend’s unswerving loyalty, an ancient enemy’s patient attention to detail, or Crush’s flair for spectacularly gruesome efficiency.

Now Teelo has to survive a heaping helping of excitement—while making sure the United States government and the citizens of three empires, five countries and two planets remain blissfully unaware of what’s really going on.

It was going to be a long summer…

Set in a war between the Solar Empire and Lunar Republic.

Twilight, Rainbow, and Rarity have to live with their choice on siding with the Solar Empire. Are their decisions good for them? How do they know for sure? How does it effect the lives around them?

Fluttershy, Pinkie, and Applejack find peace in the Lunar Republic. They are still concerned about their families and hope they are doing their best. Will conflict stir when Discord threatens to finish them off for good? Is Luna starting to wonder if she did the right thing starting this Republic?

And what of the background ponies? How are their lives changed because of the side they chose?

It all leads down to the start of The War.
