When Spitfire finds herself grounded on the team injured list just before a show in Manehatten, she prepares for her life to crumble around her. The experience leads her to come across Rainbow Dash, temporarily managing the Manehatten weather teams. The two fliers will discover that sometimes it takes the darkest moments of our lives to find the brightest ones.

Having joined the Wonderbolts to increase her skill as a flier and have fun seemed like a good idea long ago, but after seeing the accomplishments of Rainbow Dash, Spitfire begins to question her freedom, approaching the rainbow maned pegasus one night after a show. When Rainbow Dash is questioned about her motives to join the Wonderbolts, her answer surprises Spitfire, and the two come up with a wonderful idea.

This is my first ponyfic, so I'd like some feedback. If you have any questions I'm glad to answer. Of all the shipping I've seen this is probably my favorite, and this is my take on it.

Rainbow Dash meets a certain, unexpected pony. Her own twin sister. Now, problems will arise, rumors will pass, and everything Rainbow knew about her childhood will change forever.

If Twilight, AJ, Pinkie, Fluttershy and Rarity got to know how bad was Dash's childhood, they have an idea to make everything right.

Rainbow Dash has never been seen around her parents. Nopony knows what they even look like. She's been raising herself since she was a little filly after what happened. She's alone in Ponyville. Her friends have moved on to much bigger things. They write to her and keep in touch, but they never visit. Their schedules are full of other things that need to be done. She tells her parents story now because of the dark secret she has kept since her friends leaving.
This is my first Slice of Life and Sad fic, so I don't know how it will turn out. The idea came from a picture I saw with RD and Fluttershy. I hope you like it!
Also, check the date of this story. I started writing it before we saw her dad in episode 12 of season 3.

The mane 6 have grown up, found their special someponie's and had beautiful children. These children of the elements of harmony are far more special than they realise however. A few years down the line, Scootaloo is still earthbound. While still puttering her scooter around, she has noticed her friends have changed their focus away from their cutie marks. This bothers the orange pegasus and causes her to look for a new friend. And she finds one in a purple dragon with newly grown wings.

It all started as a normal day for Spike, panicking about Rarity, check, annoying Twilight with said feelings for Rarity, check. Rainbow creating a crater in front of the library, check?

Nopony knows Ponyville's library better than Spike, yet when he finds an old book even he is baffled as to how it got there. Rainbow Dash, on the other hoof, seems more than happy to help discover its secrets.
Spike soon discovers that the best types of friendship can bloom from the most unlikely of places.
