Twilight has learned a lot of things over the course of her life. From her books, her mentor, her friends and even from ponies she'd rather not spend a great deal of time around. One of those things she learned was that friendship isn't something that's as readily defined as other things in the world. After solving the crisis of Trixie being possessed by the Alicorn Amulet she sets out to meet with the fellow unicorn once again.

However she has no intention of engaging her in another duel. She's going after her to help.

Twilight Sparkle is happy with her life. Although the newly founded Twilit Court presents her with challenges, she can still continue her studies and even discover a new kind of friendship. However, this quickly ends when she suddenly loses a large portion of her memory. Now her friends have to adjust to a Twilight who doesn’t seem to know a thing about friendship. As if all that wasn't enough, a sinister force is pulling strings without anypony being able to unveil the identity of the puppeteer...

At the Royal Wedding, Chrysalis and the Changelings were revealed to all of Equestria.

But another mask was torn away that day. A mask born for a thousand years. A mask created on one promise. A mask, that has become synonymous, fused, to its bearer.

A mask that when ripped off, causes Twilight, her friends and Luna to question everything they ever knew about the one pony, one very important pony.

At the Royal Wedding, the meaning of the phrase 'Princess Celestia' changes forever.

Twilight Sparkle was presumed to be dead. Destroyed without even a body to bury, the young victim of a deadly magical surge that claimed the lives of many others along side her. More than a decade later, reports of a violent murder by a pony bearing her name are brought to Celestia and Luna's attention. A trail of carnage leading directly towards Canterlot's doorstep, brought by a pony who strikes without mercy. This story is a sequel to Sparkle Kitten

Twilight Sparkle and Rarity are about as happy as two ponies can be together. Their love is about to be tested, though, when Twilight's former flame returns to Ponyville to take back what was once hers.

This story takes place in the same timeline as Sparkle Kitten and Trixie's Great and Powerful Revenge. It's written without taking the events of Magic Duel into consideration, as I thought of this idea a good long while ago, but only just got to it.

Right before the big Canterlot Wedding, Twilight Sparkle makes a 'false' accusation against 'Princess Cadence.' Abandoned by her friends, teacher, and brother, the heartbroken pony experiences conflicting feelings of guilt and anger. Seizing this opportunity, Chrysalis takes in the fragile unicorn as her protege for her plan to plunge Equestria in darkness and chaos. With the Elements useless and the world being torn apart, how can Princess Celestia and the Elements possibly undo the damage they could've so easily prevented? And will Twilight be able to push away the darkness, or lose herself to it?

Note: Alternate Universe because of a few....'secrets' certain characters have, as well as obvious other reasons.

After having her parents violently taken from her, Twilight Sparkle, succumbed to unknown magic and influence, turned her back on harmony and declared war on existence itself, until the combined power of the princesses, the remaining elements of harmony and the pain of a broken heart finally crushed her power in half and sealed her soul into the Moon, while isolating the dark influence far away, in the frozen north.

Now, after twenty years since her banishment, the tides of fate have turned once again, as the tainted, primordial magic known as hatred finally shatters her bonds. A Crimson Dawn emerges, ready to devour the very life of the world."
