I didn't think to announce it as I've gone there every year to this little glorious convention so that it's become a bit routine. However, someone who read Princess Celestia: The Changeling Queen actually asked me to sign their copy.

So you all may not be aware, but aside from working on Princess Celestia: The Changeling Queen print novel, the majority of my time has been spent hammering away at an original fiction serial that I'm very proud of and am on my way into turning into a self-published book. I've plugged it on my blog here a few times before, but now I have moar art and art gets views sooooo here's the almost-finished cover that will be on the Kindle version of my book, by
SO finally, after fixing some issues with the test copy, we've got the Princess Celestia the Changeling Queen print book coming out! EEEEEE :D
It has 396 pages, is in an A5 format, library-bound, and with a silver endband.
The cover and inside art are by quiet-victories.
Hey all, it's been a while.
So while I've been rattling away at my original serial and what's left of Samudra's Journal, I've been working on a side-project while just doing my stuff, telling stories. Kinda like how Alternia was telling stories about her family in Princess Celestia The Changeling Queen.
So this Covid thing sucks so I can't say much, or hell do much to help people, but I'm in the fortunate position that I still have a job (essential services as child protection offcie's admin) and I don't (crosses fingers) have Covid at the moment.
I feel that the only thing I can do right now every day for some of the crappy situations people are stuck in right now, is to try to make a daily blog where I try to... cheer people up so to speak.
So both to promote book 3 of the Alternia-verse and also just to talk about and record the process of writing this story, here are a series of… “Behind the scenes” notes where I explain the process of which the latest entry into the Alternia-verse came to be. There will be no spoilers.
Part 1: The Background
OOHHH BOY. Yes, it is up folks. The trilogy capper to the Alternia-verse, probably the most polished fanfic I've ever written. It is finally up and ready for you to all read it. I'm shaking. I'm that excited. Please... enjoy, or don't, it's all up to you, but I'm glad I wrote this and I'm really glad you all get to finally see it!

So a while ago I posted a blog post indicating I intended to write a history of fimfiction. Since then, I've been shooting out emails to some authors and getting their feedback from a small survey meant to both collect information on the history of My Little Pony Fanfiction and get a good idea of how the writing community operates.
Turns out there is quite a bit of fanart done of Princess Celestia: The Changeling Queen and its related works. In anticipation of the newest entry in the series, and it's shiny new coverart, here's an updated compilation for all the art done of the series.
Let's start off with CommanderMing who commissioned this as a gift for me (Seriously, thanks). It was done by SkyeyPony. It depicts a scene from the first story showing Luna beside Alternia's sickbed.
So, pardon my tagging everybody following Princess Celestia: The Changeling Queen here because this is a highly interesting project idea that I would like people's opinion on and feedback, because I am in the middle of stabilizing my job and I suddenly now want to write a serious history of the MLP writing fandom.
So Wanderer D and I have always wanted to collaborate with one another, but we couldn't find the time to coordinate and the projects we had in mind were a bit too large... at least for my schedule.
But then he approached me for his one-shot crossover compilation Sunset's Isekai. In my one-shot with him, Princess Celestia: The Changeling Queen goes and meets a version of Sunset and they talk over drinks.
As I write my last entry into the Alternia-Verse, Equestria's Changeling Princesses and the Traitorous Queen I've become a bit retrospective. I must admit I no longer catch up on episodes as stringently as I once did, but I do keep an eye on canon developments and events in the fandom.
