Derry Wilhall; a man having received a large inheritance from his grandfather, decides to live like he's always dreamed: alone and separated from society. A little excursion through the woods for some sight seeing throws him into the throngs of another world. "He" ends up in a body that is not his and will see things from another perspective.

"She" has been having a better expectance at life and has made firm friends with Twilight Sparkle and Spike and she is still trying to avoid Rarity's insistance to get her together with Big Mac. Besides this, there are many mysteries still left untold, many revolving around the strange Giga Sparkle. How will they be explained, and what is this about a statue?

It has been a year since the incident with Discord using Derry's broken mind to spread chaos across Equestria. It may have been short lived, but the adventure that Twilight and Cyclon had within "her" mind has awoken new feelings for Cyclon. Despite being a man at basis, having Silver's body has been nothing but trial and error. How will Derry deal with these feelings that he both appreciates and finds horror in when Celestia announces the end of his "exile"?

Perhaps Rarity will converge towards helping this growing relationship even when it looks more like "friendly" playing. There also seems to be a new stallion in town, one who is a good friend of the captain Bullseye of the royal guards. Where does he come into all this?

It has been settled. This month, Twilight and CO agree that for Heartbreak to live in Equestria, she needs an actual place to live in. A real home. With money tight, and Heartbreak not having much of anything of her own, how are they going to get her this dream home?
The answer will drag both Heartbreak and Rarity kicking and nearly screaming through a series of seemingly unfortunate events involving travel, discovery, and later on: The Cutie Mark Crusaders!
But there are dark secrets still being harbored within both Heartbreak and her new home. Will Rarity, a pony who prides herself on her looks, charms and grace be able to teach a pony who doesn't care about any of those things anything about generosity? Hopefully. And hopefully before one of them strangles the other.

Important notes about the status of this story below

Ever wonder what Equestria's past was like? How did Celestia and Luna come to rule? And what made their rule a time of peace? Well I may have had something to do with that.

Name's Zack. I appeared in Equestria over 3000 years before the show "My Little Pony: Friendship is Magic" takes place. For whatever reason, a few months after my arrival, I was transported to the modern day Ponyville. What happened? Are the Princesses mad at me for disappearing like I did? I only helped establish the greatest country this world has ever seen and then vanished.

That... sounded more innocent in my head. Uh oh...

Edit May 24th 2017: IMPORTANT! I am currently rewriting the entire story and with that, many details and aspects are set to change. As such, it will essentially be an entirely new story, meaning this version of Past, Present, and Future is technically Cancelled. There will be no more chapter updates until I finish the rewrite, meaning that this version will not have a proper ending. If it's requested enough, I may do some kind of Cliffnotes version of how the rest of the story was meant to play out, but for right now just know that if you start reading this version, you will not get an ending. I will post an announcement chapter on this story and Blog on my profile when the writing nears completion and I'm about to start uploading chapters. A changeling who finds responsibility thrust upon her after the failed Canterlot invasion.

A unicorn who finds herself part of first contact with a strange new creature.

A princess who finds hints of one she long since lost in another's mind.

With the arrival of a strange bipedal creature into Equestria, all three will find themselves intertwined with the fate of the girl. When language cannot be understood how will communication with the new arrival be achieved, and what secrets may the creature be bringing with her? What does the girl possess that may alter how the changeling in particular sees the world.

What could the girl possibly have that would allow one word – hope – to resonate so strongly, not only for herself but also the changeling.

This is a retelling of A Voice Among the Strangers from three viewpoints in particular. You don't have to read AVAtS to read this one, as I will be attempting to make each a full story on their own.
