Two words that Equestria has never heard about before. Normally, when Equestria thinks of monsters, they think of creatures that are locked away in the depths of Tartarus. However, that was going to change.

When a human by the name of Fugome Kamaki visits Equestria, she tells them about a task that was given to her and about a game called Duel Monsters. That task was to introduce the card game to the ponies of Equestria, given by none other than Maximillian Pegasus, the game's creator.

What could possibly go wrong?

Hi I’m Mamoru Shinigami, one morning I woke up in a land of talking Multicolor ponies, all because I got a letter from the merchant. not the craziest thing, but it’s definitely insane. Now let’s see what kind of mischief I get wrapped up in!!

Mamoru Shinigami's powers come from dark magic. With his dark magic, it seems like he has superpowers but in actuality his powers are just dark magic, manifesting as to appear like superpowers.

This story shall go to the series finale. So strap yourselves in for a wild ride. It may say alternate universe in the tags, but that's because There will be a few small differences here and there, not many but enough to make things interesting.

This is my first story. As you read it will begin a little boring, but then you may have a little more excitement with each chapter as the story progresses. I apologize in advance for the prologue. The other chapters will be a little more tasteful.

There I was checking out the different booths when a man called 'The Merchant' came literally out of no where and tried to sell me a power crystal from the Spyro games. I guess I should explain. I became the most powerful psychic type Pokémon in the world after buying something for my costume. But when I arrived in my Equestria, ponies were technologically advanced with the earth ponies getting steam powered, pegasi getting wind powered and unicorns getting magic gems powered. But noble ponies have electric powered tech, apparently not even the princesses know about this but then the nobles tried to catch me like they captured pokémon here, with cages, not pokéballs and that frustrated me! Now, here I stand, with my artificial nation, waiting to strike back against Equestria! Come Princesses and Elements! TEST MY STRENGTH!!!!
