It was a beautiful day in San Francisco, the sun was shining, and the people was enjoying the sunshine. Well, not everyone. Walking through the street was a twenty five years woman with long blond hair, she was wearing a blue t shirt. A blur skirt and a couple of blue boots. She was currently walking towards Industrial Illusions which is owned by Maximillion Pegasus, the creator of Duel Monster.

Then a girl that was dress like a female wizard appeared next to her. “I wonder what Pegasus want with you Kamaki.”

The girl by the name of Kamaki just shrugged her shoulders. “Who know what that crazy bastard wants, he probably made a new deck he wants me to test.”

The female wizard but a hand on her chin. “Weird that he flew you half around the world for that.”

“Then I have no idea.” Then Kamaki notice that people was staring at her. “What the hell are you all staring at?” That made them leave very fast. “This is why I hate America.”

The wizard couldn’t help but giggle. “They are probably staring at you because you are talking to no one, you are the only one who can see me, remember?”

Kamaki let out a sighed. “Right.” She started to walk again, towards Industrial Illusions. When she arrived she just stare at giant building. “Let’s see what he wants.” She mumble to herself as she entered the door.

Kamaki didn’t have any trouble with the people who work there, she just told them her name and they let her in. once she reached her destination the doors open and she walk in to a room with a lot of computers and a giant metal gate? There was people dress in white coat and some of them were sitting by computers doing some science crap, others were by the gate adjusting it.

Then a voice spoke up. “Kamaki, you came.” Kamaki look in the direction of the voice and she could see Maximillion Pegasus walking towards her with his arms open. “How was your flight?” He asked her as he stop right in front of her waiting for a hug, which he wasn’t getting.

Kamaki just crossed her arms in annoyance. “Cut the crap Pegasus and tell me why I had to spend fifteen hours on a plan.” She was not happy and Pegasus could see that.

“Right, the reason is because I need some help and I believe you’re the only one who can help me.” Pegasus explained to her.

Kamaki was intrigued. “You need my help?” Pegasus nodded his head. “Help with what?”

“You see, my scientists have discovered a new world and I want you to travel to this new world and introduces duel monster to the anthropomorphic ponies that lives there.” Said Pegasus with a straight face.

Kamaki look at Pegasus as he had gone mad. “I don’t know what you have been eating but I think you have lost it and did you just say anthropomorphic ponies?” Pegasus just smile which made Kamaki to groan and rub her forehead. “Why me? There are thousands of duelist in the world so why me?”

“You have a unique ability to look at a person and figure out which deck he or she can use, and you can talk to duel monster spirits. You are also is a good teacher.”

Kamaki let out a sighed, she had to admit it but Pegasus had pointed. “Do you have any proof of these ponies?” She asked Pegasus.

Pegasus just smiled. “Follow me.” They walk over to a console with some screens on it and there was a scientist sitting there looking at the screen. “Once we managed to get the portal working we send a drone through it to get some readings about the place, we found out that we can breathe the air there and the temperature is the same as here.” Pegasus then look at the scientist. “Play the video.” The man nodded and pressed play, the video started to play.

Kamaki wasn’t entire sure what she was seeing, she saw human looking creatures that had ears like a pony, hair on their heads and tail, but what stood out the most that none of them had the same colour, it was like the rainbow. Then she saw some of them had horn on their heads, they had unicorns? Then there was those with wings, pegasus?

Kamaki look over at Pegasus. “How are they not noticing the drone?” She asked him.

“We gave the drone camouflage and we made sure it was high enough so they wouldn’t notice it.” Kamaki had to admit that was pretty smart.

Then another scientist came over to Pegasus with some paper he had to sign so Kamaki decided to have a look at the screen again when she notice something, one of them was waving at the drone. “Hey, go back a little.” She told the scientist who gave her a questionable look. “What? Do you need permission? I saw something in the video so go back.” Scientist hesitated a little but he eventually did it, he found what she was looking for. “There, stop it.” He did and Kamaki look over at Pegasus who was done. “Pegasus, you said that the drone had camouflages which mean they couldn’t see it, right?”

Pegasus wasn’t sure where she was going with this. “Yes, they shouldn’t see it, why do you ask?”

Kamaki then pointed at the screen. “Then how do you explain the pink one?”

They all look at the screen and saw a pink pony with hair that look like candy, she was smiling and waving straight at the drone. But here was the creepiest thing of them all, the pony was looking right at the camera.

Pegasus couldn’t believe what he was seeing. “That’s impossible, that pony isn’t supposed to see the drone.” He said with some disbelief in his voice.

Kamaki look at Pegasus with some anger in her eyes. “You expect me to travel to that world when you can’t even hide a bloody drone?” She asked while placing both hands on her hips, Pegasus was lost for words. “If I’m going to do this then I want payment before and after the job is done, got it?” She said while crossing her arms, she means business.

Pegasus was actually a little afraid now, Kamaki could be scary sometimes. “SSSure.” He then took something out of his pocket in his jacket. “Here, I think this card will do for now.” He handed her the card.

Kamaki took the card and read it. “Elemental Grace Doriado.” She study the card a little more. “I haven’t seen this card before but I will take it.” She placed the card in her pocket. “So, what’s the plan?” She asked Pegasus who wasn’t sure if he heard right.

“Are you saying that you will do this?” Kamaki nodded. “It didn’t sound like that a minute ago, what’s change your mind?”

“You can say that I am curious but what is the plan?” She asked again.

“Well, I thought you would travel to this new world and introduce them to duel monster, once you have made contact with their leader I want you to give away eight decks to eight ponies and…”

“…we are going to have a tournament.” Kamaki finished for him. “And I am guessing you want to sell cards in this world once we are done with this tournament, am I right?”

Pegasus just smiled. “That’s right.”

Kamaki let out a sighed, of all of Pegasus plans this one has to be his weirdest. “Are you going to talk to the president of USA?” She asked him.

Pegasus nodded. “Of course, right after I have spoken to the leader of this new world.”

Kamaki scratch her head. “Alright, can I do this tomorrow? I need to sleep of this jet lag I have.” She then let out a yawn. “I’m tired.”

Pegasus couldn’t help but chuckle a little. “Of course, this world isn’t going anywhere. One of my men will drive you to a hotel, I have rented you a room so you can sleep.” Kamaki was glad to hear that.

Once Kamaki arrived at the hotel she headed to her room, the room was the royal suit which she thought was unnecessary but she was too tired to care, she found the bed and feel asleep as soon as she landed on the bed.

Kamaki awoken the next morning, wondering where she was. “What…? This is not my room.” She sat up in the bed and rub her eyes. “That’s right, I’m going on with a crazy plan for Pegasus.” She let out a sighed. “Well, I better take a shower and put on some new clothes, then I am going to order breakfast, on Pegasus bill.” She said that last part with a smile.

After her shower and a change of clothes, she order the most expensive breakfast they had, on Pegasus name. After breakfast Kamaki headed back to Industrial Illusions where Pegasus waited for her.

Pegasus was standing by one of the computers, he look to the door when it open. “Kamaki my dear, is so good to see you.” He told the Japanese girl as she entered the room where he had the portal, she still can’t believe he build one. “Are you ready to journey to another world?” He asked her.

Kamaki look at Pegasus with a serious look. “Hold on Pegasus, before I do this I have some questions.”

Pegasus smiled didn’t disappeared. “Fire away.”

There was one thing Kamaki hated by Pegasus and that was his positivity. “What am I going to do when I get to this world except talking to their leader?” She asked.

“I’m so glad you asked.” He then grabbed a backpack and walk over to Kamaki. “In this backpack you fill find twenty different decks that my team have put together and two duel disk, I want you to give eight of them away to the ponies that live there, one of them to their leader.” She remember that from yesterday. “I want you talk to the leader that it's business proposal, which it is.” She could do that.

Kamaki took the backpack and notice it was heavy, she then open it and Pegasus wasn’t lying, there were twenty decks in the backpack and two duel disk, with some rulebooks. There was also some sandwich there with some water bottles. “Alright, I can do that.” She closed the backpack and placed it on her back. “What about this tournament you mention?” She was to tired to ask yesterday.

“I was hoping to have it in their capital and whoever wins is their first champion in this world.”

Kamaki had to admit that it sounded interesting. “Do you want to talk to their leader after I have?” She asked him.

Pegasus blink a few time. “Why didn’t I think of that, if you can bring their leader here so I can talk to her/he, that would be great.” He then turned to some of the scientist by the portal. “Are we ready to started it up?” He asked them.

“Yes Pegasus, everting is working and we are ready to active it.” One of the scientist told him.

That made Pegasus smile. “Great.” He then took out something from his pocket and gave it to Kamaki. “Here, take this.” It look like a remote control with a red button and blue one. “This control will activate the portal in this new world and don’t worry, we have already tested it and it works.” Pegasus assured her.

Kamaki took the remote control. “If you say so.” She wasn’t very convince.

“The red button will active the portal while the blue one will send out a signal that will confirmed that you have arrived in this new world.” Pegasus told Kamaki.

“You mean if I survived the trip.” Kamaki told while giving him a deadpan look.

“The drone survived.” Pegasus told her with his usually smile.

“The drone was made of metal I am made of flesh and bone, that’s a big different.” Kamaki almost shouted at him, she then managed to calm herself down. “Let’s just get this over with.” She then pressed the red button and the gate activated and the portal appeared. “Holly hell, it’s work.” She was amazed that it work.

Pegasus just rolled his eyes of what Kamaki said. “Of course it work. Now, go and meet these ponies. All you have to is go straight forward and you will see a farm, just asked those who lives there” He then went over to one of the scientist.

“Hold on a minute.” Pegasus stop. “What if the ruler don’t want to come here, then what?”

Kamaki asked a good question. “Well, if they don’t want to come here then press the blue button three times and I will come to their world.” She could do that.

Kamaki look at the portal and took a deep breath, she then step through it. on the other side Kamaki open her eyes and saw that she was in a forest, she then deiced to check her body, everything was there. “Huh, I guess I survived. Points for Pegasus.” She then turned around and saw the portal. “Let’s see if the control works.” She pressed the blue button on hope that they got the signal, she then pressed the red one and the gate disappeared, she then pressed it again and the portal appeared again. “Okay, that’s cool.” Kamaki then deactivated the portal and made an X on the ground in front it so she would find it again, she put the remote in her pocket, she then decided to find this farm Pegasus mention.

But first. “Dark magician girl, are you here?” She asked while looking around.

Dark magician girl appeared by her side. “Yes, I’m here.”

Kamaki was relieved. “Good, you’re here, I was worried you were gone after I step through the portal.”

Magician girl just smiled. “I didn’t think you cared.” She said with tease in her voice.

Kamaki gave her a blank look. “I don’t, I was just curious if you were still here.” Magician girl could hear the sarcasm in her voice so she just rolled her eyes and disappeared. Kamaki started to walk.

It didn’t take long before Kamaki found the farm and the first thing she saw was a lot of trees, apple trees. “I guess they love apples.” She mumbled to herself as she walk, hoping to find someone.

After walking for five minutes, Kamaki found a house with a barn. “Huh, nice house.” She was about to walk to the front door to nock when someone came out of the barn, it was one of the ponies. This one was female and she was orange with blond hair that was tied up, she was wearing a Stetson hat and farm outfit. “Excuse me.”

The pony stop to look at Kamaki. “Yes, what can I help…” he words died in her mouth when she saw Kamaki. “What… What are you…?” Before Kamaki could answer, she saw fury in the pony’s eyes. “Are you a thief, here to steal my apples?”

This was not the first contact Kamaki was hoping for. “Do I look like a thief to you?”

The ponies fury didn’t disappeared. “At the moment, yes, I don’t even know what you are. You look like an ape without the fur.” Then it look like she was going to attack.

“She isn’t far off.” Kamaki mumble to herself. “Look, my name is Fugome Kamaki and I am a human, I’m from another world and I was hired by another human by the name of Maximillion Pegasus. I am here to speak with your leader for a business proposal between out worlds.” Kamaki hope that would help.

The pony just study her, then fury disappeared and she relaxed. “You aren’t lying, that’s for sure.” Kamaki couldn’t help but wonder how she knew that. “What is this business proposal?”

“I’m sorry but I was instructed to tell that to your leader, if you could take me to them.”

The pony wonder what to do, this human wasn’t lying but she wasn’t telling her everything and that made the pony to suspect her.

“I can’t take you to them because they don’t live here, but I know somepony that know them. I can take you to her.”

Kamaki then bowed. “I would be grateful if you did.” The pony didn’t expect her to bow. “By the way, may I get your name?” She asked as she stood up.

The pony hesitated a little before she answered. “My name is Applejack.”

“It’s a pleasure to meet to Applejack.” She said while bowing again.

Now Applejack just felt uncomfortable. “You don’t have to bow every time.”

Kamaki stood up, again. “Sorry, we usually do that in my country. Shall we?” Applejack nodded her head as they walk towards the town.

One their way there Kamaki learned that there were two ruler in Equestria, princess Celestia and her sister princess Luna who were over three thousand years old, Kamaki wasn’t sure if she believe that but she said nothing. Applejack told her that the town was called Ponyville and was found by her grandmother, granny Smith, Kamaki was impressed.

As they walk through Ponyville, many of the ponies there look at Kamaki in wonder and some in fear, they had never seen anything like her before. Kamaki was a little worried but then Applejack told her what happened with Zecora and that eased her worries. There were three ponies that fainted when they saw her, they were saying the horror when the fell to the ground. Kamaki just ignored them.

Once the arrived at their destination, Kamaki wasn’t sure what she was looking at, a giant tree that was also a library? That was Applejack told her.

“And here lives the pony that can contact your leaders for me?” Kamaki asked Applejack.

Appljeack nodded her head with a smile. “Yeep, my friend Twilight is princess personal student and she can help you.” Kamaki had no idea what personal student meant but she believe what Applejack said. Applejack open the door and they walk in.

Once inside Kamaki could see shelf with books, a lot of books. “Hello, Twilight, are you here?” Asked Applejack.

Then they heard movement from another part of the library. “One moment Applejack.” Then they heard someone walking and in entered a purple unicorn. “Sorry about that, I go some new…?” She then saw Kamaki and was lost for words. “What…? She tried to find her words. “Who are you…? What are you…?”

Kamaki then bowed. “My name is Fugome Kamaki and I am a human from another world, I am here because my employer Maximillion Pegasus has a business proposal to your leaders.”

Twilight was now curious, she couldn’t help but wonder what this Maximillion Pegasus wanted with the princesses. “What kind of business proposal are we talking about? The stuff that are in your backpack?” She asked while looking at the backpack.

Kamaki took one step back. “I was told to show it to them, not you.” She then let out a sighed. “Look, Applejack told me you could help me meet them, can you or am I wasting my time here? Because if you are, then point me in the direction where they live and I will walk there.”

Twilight wasn’t sure if she wanted to help this human, she look over at Applejack. “Do you trust her?” She asked her friend.

Applejack crossed her arms. “I just meet her but yes, I trust her. I don’t think she is here to do us harm.”

Twilight trusted Applejack’s words but not this stranger. “Look, even if I wrote to princess Celestia I still need some more information of what this business proposal is, you have to give me something I can write in the letter.”

Kamaki had to admit it but she was right. “A fair point, it’s a card game called duel monster and that’s all I can say.” Before Twilight could ask anything ells, Kamaki started to walk towards the door, she stop by it. “If you want to write them a letter or not, that’s up to you. I will be waiting by the river I saw while walking here, I will be waiting there for the rest of the day and I will return tomorrow, if your rulers don’t show up, I will be gone and you will never see me again.” She then open the door and walk out, she closed the door.

Twilight and Applejack look at the door. “Well, that was something.” Twilight look at her friend. “What do think of her Applejack?” Twilight asked.

“She isn’t lying if that’s what you want to know, I was a little surprised when I saw her but I think she has a kind soul.” Applejack look at Twilight. “We shouldn’t judge her by the way she look’s, I learned that lesson from Zecora.”

That made Twilight smile. “Yeah, you and the girls was a little paranoid when it came to her.” Both of them chuckle of that.

“So, are you going to write a letter to princess Celestia?” Applejack asked Twilight.

Twilight thought for a second, there shouldn’t be any harm in that. “Yes, I will. I am also interested in Kamaki, humans and this card game she mention, duel monster.” She walk over to the table and picked up a paper and a pen, she wrote the letter and used her magic to send it. “Now we wait.” Twilight then notice Applejack staring at her. “What?”

Applejack shook her head. “Nothing, I just thought that you need Spike to send letter’s.”

“Normally, yes, but I can do it myself.” Applejack couldn’t help but wonder why she didn’t do that more.

In the castle of Celestia and Luna, the sun princess was sitting in her bed enjoying a book, she had the day of ad she loved days like that. Then a letter appeared right in front of her, which made her groan. “I hope that Twilight isn’t panicking again.” She opened the letter and started to read;

“Dear princess Celestia, I got a visit from Applejack today who had a guest from another world,” Celestia was intrigued. “here name is Fugome Kamaki and she works for some by the name of Maximillion Pegasus.” They are not ponies. “She wanted to talk to you and your sister about a business proposal called Duel monsters, which is a card game.” Now Celestia was very intrigued, she loved card games. “She was hoping you could come and talk to her, she will be waiting for you and your sister by the river near Ponyville today and tomorrow. Your student, Twilight.” Celestia decide read it one more time, someone from another world? Business proposal? Celestia wanted to meet this Fugome Kamaki, she got up and headed to the door to find her sister.

“Duel monsters?” After arriving at her sister room, Celestia handed Luna the letter and she was a skeptical to it all. “And what is this other world?” Luna asked her sister.

“I don’t know, I guess Twilight didn’t ask but we can when we see this Fugome Kamaki.”

Luna gave her sister a wary look. “When we meet her? You actually want to meet her and hear her out?” Celestia just nodded her head which made Luna get of the chair she was sitting on. “Are you mad? We don’t know what she really want, she could have evil intentions for all we know.” Luna told her sister.

“That might be true but we don’t know until we meet her.” Luna wasn’t convince. “Look, you don’t have to go Luna, I can go by myself.” Celestia then left leaving Luna alone who just started at the door, wondering what just happened. “Wait for me.” She then walk after Celestia.

Kamaki had managed to find a tree by the river and decided to lie down by it, waiting. Then dark magician girl appeared. “Do you think they will come, their leaders?” She asked Kamaki.

Kamaki was lying on her back with her arms behind her head and her eyes were closed. “Trust me, they will come.” Kamaki answered.

Dark magician girl tilted her head to the side in confusion. “What make you say that?”

Kamaki just smiled. “Curiosity. It doesn’t matter if you are human or pony, curiosity will always win, in some cases.”

Dark magician girl just rolled her eyes. “What about that pony who has been following you since you left the town?”

That was a good question, before Kamaki could answer. “Um, excuse me.” Kamaki open her eyes and lifted her head so she could see who was talking, looking at her was a yellow pegasus with long pink hair. “Um, who are you? If you don’t mind me asking.”

This one was shy, Kamaki thought. “If you must know, my name is Fugome Kamaki and I am waiting for your leaders, Celestia and Luna.” She lowered her head and closed her eyes. “They will be here soon, if I’m lucky.”

Before the pegasus could say anything, there was a flash of light and then there stood two ponies with wing and horn, one was black and her hair look like the night. The other one, who was the tallest was white and the hair had many colours. There was some guards with them.

“I still don’ understand why we couldn’t use a chariot.” Said the black one who Kamaki assumed was Luna.

“That would take to long.” Said Celestia who notice Kamaki. “So, you must be this human Twilight mention in her letter, Fugome Kamaki.”

“That I am.” Kamaki got up and bowed. “It’s a pleasure to meet you both.” Celestia and Luna was surprised by how polit she was. “I have come to this world by a portal by Maximillion Pegasus, he wants to sell Duel Moster in your world.” She told the both will standing up.

“Yes, Twilight also mention that in her letter. Just what is Duel mention?” Luna also wanted to know.

Kamaki pick up her backpack and took out some cards. “These are Duel monster and in my world we use them to duel, it’s basically a card game.” Kamaki could see that both of the rulers was curious so she picked up something from her backpack. “And the only way to experience it, it’s to play it.” Said Kamaki as she put on some sort of metal device on her wrist.

The First Duel in Equestria: Kamaki vs Celestia

After challenge Celestia to a duel, which she accepted, Kamaki gave her a deck to use. She then gave the sun princess a few minutes to look at cards, she also gave her a rulebook so she would understand how it work. The Twilight and the rest of her friend arrived and when Pinkie saw Kamaki, she immediately wanted to throw the human a party, Kamaki said no and Pinkie didn’t push her which surprised her friends. When it came to Rainbow Dash, she was suspicious when it came to Kamaki but her friends told her not to make a new Zecora episode, Applejack said she trusted her and that made Dash a little lese suspicious, but she still didn’t trust the human.

“II still can’t believe you are going to do this.” Said Luna as her sister look at her cards, while Twilight had borrow the rulers from Celestia.

“Would you stop saying that, it’s the third time already.” Said an annoyed Celestia as she look through the cards.

Luna then crossed her arms. “I know I said it three times and will probably say it again, you have always been a sucker for card games since we were kids, just like cake.”

That got Celestia to look at her sister with narrow eyes. “Don’t you dare to bring cake in to this, cake has nothing to do with this.” Celestia didn’t like that Luna made fun of her taste in cake, Luna just rolled her eyes.

Then Fluttershy spoke. “What are those cards called? If you minds telling us.” She said in her normal voice.

Celestia look at her. “Kamaki called them Madolche and I think they are very cute.” Celestia showed them to Fluttershy who agreed.

Applejack and the others was reading the rule book and they didn’t understand how the game was play. “The cards may be cute but I don’t understand the rulers, monster cards, trap and spell cards. How do one expect to learn all this.” She then look at Twilight. “Well, maybe one of us can understand it.” Dash and Pinkie laugh at what AJ said while Twilight didn’t notice, she was too busy with the rule book.

When it came to kamaki, she was standing a little father from the ponies, looking over the cards she chose, the Dragonmaid.

Then Dark Magician girl appeared. “Do you really think this a good idea? Challenge one of the rulers to a card game?” She asked Kamaki.

“Technically it wasn’t my idea, it was Pegasus.” Kamaki had a point there. “And beside, I’m better suited for this.” Another good point.

“Yeah, I can’t see Seto Kaiba do this, his ego would get in the way.” Kamaki couldn’t help but smirk of what Dark Magician girl said, Kaiba had a big ego. “What kind of deck did you chose?” She asked Kamaki.

“The Dragonmaid deck.” Kamaki answered.

“Isn’t that difficult deck to use?”

Kamaki nodded. “Yes, but I’m always up for a challenge.” She then notice Celestia walking towards her. “So, you ready?” She asked the princess.

“As ready as I can be.” She told the human as she stop in front of her.

“Alright, but first, hold out you’re your left arm.” Celestia had no idea why, maybe it had something to do with the metal device Kamaki had on her left arm. “You need your own duel disc.” Kamaki then pick up the same metal device from her backpack, Celestia hold out her left arm and Kamaki placed the duel disk on her arm. “This is what we use to duel with in my world.”

Celestia decided to study the duel disk a little closer, she saw an empty placed near her hand, one should probably place the deck there. “Press the button that says power.” Celestia did as Kamaki said and when she pressed it, it light up on top and something came out on front. “First of, you insert the deck in the slot near your hand.” Celestia did that and then she saw the number 4000 appeared on top of the duel disk. “That’s your life point and the point is to get it down to zero.” Celestia knew that but she was more amazed by the duel disk. “You can place your extra cards in your pockets, I usually do that.” Celestia did hat and she was glad she decided to wear jeans.

One other pony that was amazed by the duel disk was Twilight, she was literally jumping up and down, she wanted to test it herself. “Would you calm down Twilight Sparkle, your embarrassing yourself.” What Luna said made her stop and she had t blush on her face, her friends just laugh.

Back with Kamaki and Celestia. “You place your monster cards on the top five squares while your spell and trap cards goes right under them.” Celestia saw that she was right, there was five slots under the squares.

Celestia then saw that Kamaki walk a little father from her, she then stop and turned to face her. “Alright.” She then active her own duel disk and placed the cards in the slot. “Let’s duel.”

They both got ready. “First, we each draw five cards each.” They both did that. “It’s okay that I go first?” Celestia didn’t mind. “I draw.” Kamaki drew her card and look at her six cards, they were Chamber Dragonmaid, Dragonmaif Ernus, Laundry Dragonmaid, Dragonmaid Tidying, Dragonmaid Changeover, and Dragonmaid Hospitality. “Not a bad hand.” Kamaki said to herself.

Kamaki look at Celestia and she saw that the ruler was a little nervous and she couldn’t blame her, but Kamaki wasn’t about to go easy on her, that was no her style. Back with Luna and the other. “What did Kamaki do that Twilight and how did she do that?” Rarity asked her geek friend.

“Well, what I read in the rule book, that’s a trap or spell card and how she did it, I’m guessing it’s that duel disk.” Her friends wasn’t any wiser so they decide to just watch.

Back to Kamaki. “Then I summon Chamber Dragonmaid in attack mode.” (Atk:500, def:1800.) Then she placed a card on the top and then something appeared, it look like a girl who was wearing a black dress, she had white hair, horns on her head and was holding a feather duster. “When this card is normal summon, I can add a Dragonmaid spell or trap card from my deck to my hand.” She picked up her deck and look through it, she picked return of the dragon lord and placed it in her hand, she then placed the deck back and the deck then shuffled itself. “And that ends my turn.”

Then it was Celestia’s turn, she draw her card and look at her six cards, they are; Madolche Puddingcess, Madolche Petingcessour, Petingcessoeur, Ash Blossom and Joyous Spring, Madolche Ticket, Madolche Chateau, and Mirror force. Celestia wasn’t sure what to play first, but then she saw that Petingcessoeur could be special summon when she had no monster cards in her graveyard, she grabbed the card. “Since I have no monster cards in my graveyard, I can special summon Malolche Petingcessoeur, (atk: 1400, def 1400,) I’m going to summon her in attack mode.” She placed the card on the duel disk and the monster appeared. “Then I’m going to summon Maolche Puddingcess.” (Atk: 1000 def: 1000) She placed another card on the dule disk and the monster appeared. “Then I’m going to attack your Chamber Dragonmaid with my Petingcessoeur.” The monster flew towards Kamaki’s monster.

Kamaki didn’t look worried at all, she just smiled. “I’m going to activate Chamber Dragonmaid’s special ability.” Everypony that was watching was confused by what she said, not Twilight, she had read the rule book. “At the start of the battle phase, I can return Chamber Dragonmaid to my hand.” She did that. “That lets me summon one level seven or higher Dragonmaid from my hand, I’m going to summon Dragonmaid Ernus.” (Atk: 2600 def: 1600) Kamaki placed a new card and then a pink dragon with wings appeared. “Dragonmaid Ernus, attack Celestia’s Malolche Petingcessoeur.” The dragon breath fired and destroyed Celestia’s monster and that made her lose some points.

Celestia: 2600

Celestia didn’t expect that, she was hoping it was her turn but no, Kamaki wasn’t done. “Now I can return Dragonmaid Ernus to my hand.” She did that. ”That let’s my summon Laundry Dragonmaid and I’m going to place her in defense mode.” (Atk: 500 def: 1600) A new monster appeared and it was kneeling and it’s arms was crossed. “When Laundry Dragonmaid is special summon, I have to send the top 3 cards from my deck to the graveyard.” Kamaki did that. The cards was: Dragonmaid Changeover, Dragonmaid downtime and Parlor Dragonmaid.

Kamaki was much better than Celestia expected but she wasn’t about to give up, she took Malolche Petingcessoeur and send it to the graveyard. Celestia then look at the rest of her cards and notice Ash Blossom and Joyous Spring, she saw she could have use that card to stop Kamaki to summon Dragonmaid Ernus, she had to remember that to next time. She then took Mirror force. “I’m going to place this card face down.” She placed the card in the spell/trap slot. “Then I’m going to switch Maolche Puddingcess to defense.” She did that. “Then end my turn.”

Then it was Kamaki’s turn, she drew her card and it was another Changeover which made Kamaki smiled. “Just what I need, I active the spell card Dragon Changeover,” She placed the card in and up appeared a card with a girl with wings. “with this spell card I can fusion summon a monster from my extra deck, so I fuse my Laundry Dragonmaid and Ernus in my hand to summon Dragonmaid Sheou." (Atk: 3500 def: 2000) Laundry and Ernus fused together and a new monster appeared right behind Kamaki, it was a dragon. This dragon was black, white and red but what scared Celestia was it attack point, it was 3500, did she even have a monster that strong?

Luna and the others was surprised by what Kamaki did, they didn’t think she could do that. “Wow, look at that, that’s so cool.” Said Pinkie in awe in her voice. Fluttershy didn’t think it was cool, she was scared of this new monster. She knew it wasn’t real but it didn’t help.

Kamaki wasn’t done. “During my stand by face I can active Sheou special ability, I can special summon 1 level 9 or lower monster from hand or graveyard, I think I will summon Dragonmaid Ernus from my graveyard.” She was about to do that.

Celestia wasn’t about to let that happened. “I don’t think so.” Kamaki look at her in surprised. “By sending Ash Blossom and Joyous Spring to the graveyard I can negate that effect.” She picked the card and send it to the graveyard. “When this card is send to the graveyard from my hand I can active one of three thing, ad a card from the deck to my hand, special summon a monster from the deck or send a card to the graveyard. I think will summon a monster.” She picked her deck and look thorough it, she found it. “I’m going to summon Madolche Messengelati in defense.” A male monster that look like a post office appeared. “And since I special summon Messengelati, I can add a Madolche spell or trap card from deck to my hand.” She picked Madolche Chateau and placed in her hand, she placed her deck back and it shuffled.

Kamaki was surprised that she had that card and what Celestia just did, she didn’t think she could do that. “If you think that is going to stop me then think again, I active return of the dragon lord. This spell card lets me summon one level seven or eight dragon monster from my graveyard, come back Dragonmaid Ernus.” The pink dragon came back. “I’m also going to summon Chamber Dragonmaid in defense mode.” The maid came back. “As before, I can now ad a Dragonmaid spell or trap from my deck to my hand.” She picked Dragonmaid welcome, she placed the deck back and it shuffled. “And I think I will end my turn.

That move surprised Celestia and the one who was watching. “Why did Kamaki end her turn? She could destroyed princess Celestia monster.” Said Twilight.

The girls had no idea but Luna knew. “She wants to see what my sister does next.” She then crossed her arms. “I’m curious what she will do.”

Celestia was surprised that Kamaki didn’t attack, considering she had a monster with three thousand attack point. She could ask the human later, right now it was her turn. “I draw.” She drew her card and it was Harpie’s feather duster, she like that card. “First, I’m going to place this card face down.” She placed the card she just got. “And since I have two four starts monster, I can now Xyz summon.”

That confused Twilight’s friends. “Twilight what’s Xyz summon?” Fluttershy ask her friend, Luna and the guards also wonder what it was.

“From what I read, if you have monster with the same level one can summon a monster that is called Xyz cards.”

“Now I overlay my Maolche Puddingcess and Madolche Messengelati.” Then her card started to glow and the became something that look like energy, then a black vortex appeared on the ground and energy disappeared into it. She then placed her two monster cards on top of each other on the dule disk, she then picked a card from the pocket in her pants and placed the card from the extra deck on top of the others. “I Xyz summon Madolche Queen Tiaramisu." (Atk: 2200 def: 2100) Out came a girl with a dress and a staff in her hand, two orbs was floating around her. Kamaki became worried when she saw the monster card and she knew what it could do, she had to do something and she knew what. “I think I will active my face down, Harpie’s feather duster which destroy every spell and trap card on your side of the field.” A tornado destroyed Kamaki’s trap card which made her feel stupid, she forgot that Dragonmaid Sheou which let her destroy a card. “Now I remove one of her overlay unit and by doing so I can return up to two Madolche monster cards from my graveyard and ad them into the deck,” She picked up the only monster card she had in the graveyard and placed it into the deck, the deck then shuffled. “and now I chose a card from your side and return it to your deck, I chose your Dragonmaid Sheou.” Kamaki had to do it, she placed Sheou back in her extra deck. Celestia then picked up card that was under Queen Tiaramisu and placed it in the graveyard. “I’m also going to play the field spell Madolche Chateau.” A new card slot open at the end of her duel disk and she placed it there, the slot went back in. Then the whole arena change, there were cakes everywhere.

When Pinkie saw what happened, she tried to jump on one of the cakes but she just fell through it and into the ground. Her friends and Luna though it was hilarious.

“Now all Madolche monsters get an extra five hundred atk and def points.” Madolche Queen Tiaramisu atk became 2700 and def 2600. “Now Queen Tiaramisu, attack her Dragonmaid Ernus.” Tiaramisu fired a beam from her staff, destroying the dragon.

Kamaki: 3900

“I end my turn.”

Kamaki was astounded how Celestia played her cards, she was impressed. “it’s my turn, I draw.” She got Kitchen Dragonmaid. “First, I’m going to summon Kitchen Dragonmaid in attack mode.” A girl that look like she was working in the kitchen appeared. “Then I’m going to use her special ability which let me add a Dragonmaid monster from my deck to my hand.” She chose Dragonmaid Lorpar. “Now I have to send it to the graveyard.” She did that. “Now I will banish Dragonmaid tidying from my graveyard which let me special summon a Dragonmaid monster from my graveyard in defense mode, I chose the card I just discard, Dragonmaid Lorpar.” A green dragon appeared. “and now I play another Dragonmaid Changeover which let me fuse the two monster I have on the field, I can now summon House Dragonmaid." (atk: 3000 A girl with a tail appeared,, she was wearing a dress and glasses. “Now House Dragonmaid, attack her Queen Tiaramisu.” House Dragonmaid flew towards Celestia monster.

“I don’t think so, I active my face down card, mirror force.” The card came up and a barrier appeared in front of Celestia’s monster. “Mirror force destroy all your monsters.” I did that.

Kamaki felt like an idiot, she forgot Celestia’s face down card. Kamaki look at her cards and saw that the only card she had was Dragonmaid hospital and welcome, she had to save them for later. “I end my turn.”

Then it was Celestia’s turn.” I draw.” It was Terraforming, she couldn’t use it now. “Alright, Queen Tiaramisu attack Kamaki directly.” The queen fired away a beam from her staff which hit Kamaki.

Kamaki: 1200

Celestia. “I end my turn.”

Kamaki was in trouble, she had to draw a monster card, she drew and it was Parlor Dragonmaid. “This can work. First, I’m going to summon Parlor Dragonmaid.” A new monster appered. “When I summon her I have to send a Dragonmaid monster from my deck to graveyard, I chose Dragonmaid Tinkhec.” She send the card to the graveyard. “Then I’m going to active the magic card Dragonmaid Welcome,” A new card appeared. “This card give my monster 100 atk and def for each Dragonmaid monster I have on the field, now I active Parlor Dragonmaid second ability, before the battle face I can return her to my hand which let me summon a level eight Dragonmaid monster from my graveyard, I chose Dragonmaid Tinkhec.” (atk: 2700 def: 1700) A red dragon with blue horns appeared. “And thanks to my spell card, Tinkhec get 100 more attack and defense point.” They went up. “Now I Tinkhec, attack Celestia’s Queen Tiaramisu.” The dragon attack with fire destroying Celestia’s monster.

Celestia: 2500

“At the end of the battle face I can return Tinkhec to my hand and then I can summon back Parlor Dragonmaid.” The monster came back. “Now I have to send a monster card to the graveyard, I send another Ernus.” She did that. “Now, Parlor Dragonmaid, attack Celestia directly and thanks to Dragonmaid Welcome, her atk is 600.” The monster flew towards Celestia and attack with her tail.

Celestia: 1900

“I end my turn.”

Celestia was in trouble and she knew it if she didn’t drew a monster card, Kamaki could attack her again. Celestia drew her card and it wasn’t a monster, it was Raigeki which could destroyed her opponent monsters, this could by her some time. “I active Raigeki, this destroy every monster on your side.” Thunder came from the sky and destroyed Kamaki’s monster. “I end my turn.” She really hope she got a new round, she was having too much fun.

Kamaki drew her card and she smiled when she saw the card. “I active Return of the dragon lords which let me summon one level 7 or 8 dragon monster from my graveyard, I summon Dragonmaid Ernus.” The pink dragon appeared again. “Now, attack Celestia directly.” Ernus attack with flames and Celestia just smiled as the attack came closer, this was fun.

Meeting Pegasus

After the duel was done, Luna and the other was running towards Celestia who just standing there with a smile on her face.

“You okay sister?” Luna asked her sister with concern in her voice.

Celestia blink a few time. “Why wouldn’t I?” She had no idea why her sister asked that question.

“You just lost, that’s why she asked.” Said Twilight who was even more worried than Luna, to be perfectly honest, she was freaking out. Twilight was sure that her teacher would be angry that she lost.

Celestia knew what was going on. “For peat sake Twilight, I’m not going to be mad at Kamaki just because she won. I had fun and that’s that.” Twilight was about to speak. “Don’t you dear to say another word Twilight Sparkle, I’m fine.” Twilight decided not to say anything.

“Spoken like a true duelist.” They all saw Kamaki walking towards them with a smile on her face. “Win or lose, it doesn’t matter as long as you are having fun.” She stop. “So, is this something you are interested in?” She asked the princess.

Celestia look over at her sister. “What do you think Luna?”

Luna crossed her arms. “Well, I’m not very interested in card games, but I had fun just watching. So yeah, I think I will meet this Maximillion Pegasus and hear what he has to say.”

Celestia nodded in agreement. “I agree with my sister, I think duel monster is something that the ponies in Equestria could enjoy.”

Kamaki was glad to hear that. “Great, if you give the duel disk back, we can go and meet him.” Kamaki told Celestia.

The sun princess took of her duel disk and gave it back .”Do you want your cards back?” She asked while handing them over to Kamaki.

Kamaki pushed them back. “Keep them for now.” Celestia was about to protest. “Pegasus will explain everything.” Celestia decided to keep them for now.

Then Twilight spoke up. “Come on, I want to meet this Maximillion Pegasus and ask him how duel disk works.”

Twilight and her friends was about to walk towards the Everfree forest when Kamaki spoke up. “Where the hell are you six going?” She asked them as she placed the duel disk back in her backpack.

They weren’t sure what was going on. “Huh, we are going to meet this Pegasus?” Said Twilight.

“No you’re not.” Said Kamaki as she placed the backpack on her back, Twilight wan her friends was just confused of what she said. “Pegasus said he wanted to meet the ruler of this world and since that’s them,” She said while looking at Celestia and Luna. “they are coming and not you six.”

Twilight and her friends look hurt that they couldn’t come but not Dash, she was now furious. “What? He doesn’t think were good enough? Were the elements of harmony.” She said with anger in her voice.

Kamaki gave Dash a blank look. “You say like that means something because it doesn’t, I don’t care who you or your friends are, Pegasus said he wanted to me the ruler of this placed and that’s them.” She then pointed at Celestia and Luna. “Is that’s so hard to believe?” Instead of calming down, Dash got even more angrier and Kamaki saw that. “Oh my god, you have an ego. When something doesn’t involve you, you get frustrated and left out and that’s leads to your frustration.”

Dash had enough and Applejack saw that but before she could do anything, Dash flew towards Kamaki in anger ready to beat her up until she couldn’t stand any long, she didn’t get very far. Dash crashed right into a barrier that Celestia made.

“That’s enough, try and control yourself Rainbow Dash.”

Dash, who was lying on the ground with pain in her face, got up and started to tub her face. “Why did you stop me?” Her friends couldn’t believe that she asked that question.

Celestia walk over to Dash so she was standing over her. “I stop you because this is not how to behave when we have guests from another world and like you said before, you and your friends are the elements of harmony, is this the way to behave? Is this how to spread friendship?” Celestia asked with frustration.

Dash just look away. “No, but…”

Celestia interrupted her. “No but, if Maximillion Pegasus only want to meet me and my sister then we have to respect that.” Celestia look over at Dash’s friends. “Twilight.” The unicorn almost jump out of her skin. “Take your friends back to Ponyville, we are going to have a talk afterwards.” Twilight and her friends didn’t say anything, they just left, they didn’t want to anger Celestia even more. Dash, who was just sitting there, had to be lifted up by Applejack and led away. When they were gone, Celestia look at Kamaki. “Was that necessary? Provoking Rainbow Dash like that?” She asked the human.

Kamaki just straighten her backpack. “No, but she remined me of someone back in my world and I kind of lost it.” She bowed. “I apologize.”

Again, the sisters was surprised by how polite Kamaki was. “I didn’t matter to me what happened to Rainbow Dash, I think she deserved it.” Luna has never been a fan of Dash, she thought she was a bad choice for Loyalty, Luna still can’t believe she was chosen. Celestia was about to scold her sister. “Shall we me this Maximillion Pegasus?”

Kamaki stood up. “Of course, if you all will follow me.” Kamaki started to walk towards Applejack’s farm Luna and the guards followed her leaving Celestia alone who wonder what just happened. She eventually followed them.

After arrived at Everfree forest, Celestia told her guards to stand guard, they weren’t to let anyone in. While walking through the forest, Kamaki followed the arrows she had mark on the ground and trees and she was very glad she did. If not, she wouldn’t find the gate.

“I have to ask, how did you two know where I was? You appeared right beside me.” Kamaki asked the sisters.

Both sisters actually blushed. “It was pure luck, Twilight wrote in the letter she send me that you were by the river, so we just teleport there and like is said, it was just luck.” Celestia told her. Kamaki was just impressed.

Then they arrived at the X, where the portal was. “Here we are.” They all stop and Kamaki took out the remote control and she pressed the red button, then a giant blue portal open up. “One second, I have to let Pegasus know that you are here.” She pressed the blue button three times.

It didn’t take long before Celestia and Luna saw someone step out of the portal, like Kamaki, this was one was almost human but male. He was wearing a red dress, his hair was light purple and it was covering his left eye.

Pegasus look at the portal. “I can’t believe that work.” Kamaki just rolled her eyes of what he said. Pegasus then spread his arms. “Hello, my name is Maximillion Pegasus and it’s…” He then stop when he saw Celestia and Luna. “What the…?” He then look at Kamaki. “I told you to bring me the leader of this world.”

“I did, there are two leaders in this world, princess Celestia and princess Luna. They are sisters.”

Pegasus was stun when he heard that, he thought it was only one leader. Maybe he should have look at other city’s with the drone. “Alright then.” He then placed a hand on his chest and bowed. “It’s my pleasure to meet you princess Celestia and princess Luna, my name is Maximillion Pegasus but you already know that.”

The sister then bowed. “The pleasure is all ours. We heard from Kamaki that would like to sell duel monster in Equestria.”

“That’s right, I always wanted to sell duel monster somewhere ells than earth, so why not do it in another world.” If he had told Kamaki that earlier, she would have thought that he was crazy. Oh, wait. He did tell and she still think he’s crazy.

“And how are going to do promote duel monster in Equestria?” Luna asked and it was a good question.

“I was hoping to have a tournament with duel monster, if you two let Kamaki give away eight decks to eight random citizen, they could duel and we could show it to the other city’s with television.”

Kamaki’s eyes widen when she heard that. “Hold on, are you going to introduce them to television?” The sister’s had no idea what television was.

“Why not? I mean, how ells are we going to show them duel monster? I say we can show them by dueling.” He had point, but Kamaki was still worried. “I see that you are worried Kamaki, but I don’t see another way unless they can use their magic to do it.” Pegasus look at the two princess. “Can you?”

Celestia shook her head. “I’m afraid not, the only way we could do that is when ponies are sleeping, but something tells me that would be difficult.” She look at her sister.

Luna let out a sighed. “My sister has a point, it would be difficult. If showed them this tournament in their sleep, they would probably think it’s a dream and forget it the next morning.” The humans was amazed that Luna could enter their dreams, and a lite creep out at the same time.

Pegasus clap his hands together. “Then it settle, we have the tournament in your capital and with the help of tv we can show it to the other cities.” The sister was a little confused, they had no idea what a tv was and Pegasus saw that. “a tv is something in our world that lets you signals sound and pictures from one place to another, it’s a little easier to show then explain. I’m not sure how it works.” Kamaki couldn’t help but roll her eyes.

Luna then raised her hand. “Can I come with a suggestion, we have the tournament in Ponyville, not Canterlot.” More confusion. “If we want to attract ponies to watch then I suggested we build an arena outside Ponyville, there are more space there then Canterlot.”

Celestia was amazed that Luna came up with that. “My sister has a point, there are more room outside Ponyville then Canterlot."

Then Pegasus spoke. “Tell you what, why don’t you two take care of things here while I take care of tv and power in my world. I also need one of you to talk to our president, I don’t want him to be keep in the dark.”

“Is this president the leader in your world?” Celestia asked Pegasus.

“He is the leader in the country my business lies in, there are more than one country in our world.” The sisters believe him.

“Then I suggested Luna can talk to this president while I take care of budling the arene and some stands for ponies to sit on.”

Luna’s eyes widen when she heard that her sister suggested that she should talk to the president. “You want me to talk to this human? Why?” Luna asked her sister.

Celestia blink a few times. “I don’t see why not, you are qualified.”

Luna started to rub her arm. “Yeah, but it’s been so long since I have handled diplomacy.”

Celestia walk over to her sister and placed a hand on her shoulder. “I believe in you Luna, if I didn’t I wouldn’t have suggested you.” Luna decided to so it.

Then Pegasus spoke. “Now we have that shorted out, I wanted to ask, who did Kamaki duel?”

Celestia raised her hand. “That would me and even I lost I had fun.”

Pegasus look at Kamaki like she had lost it. “You beat her? Why?”

Kamaki shrugged her shoulder. “Why not? I don’t care who my opponent is, I duel to win.” Pegasus just had a horrified look on his face. “If it makes you feel any better, I at played 90%.”

Pegasus managed to calm down a little. “No, it doesn’t help.” He then straighten out his jacket. “I have to get back, I have to make a meet with the president. How long do you think it will take you to deal out seven decks, Kamaki?” He asked his fellow human.

Kamaki placed a hand on her chin. “I have already given away one, I would say four maybe five days, if I'm lucky.”

When Celestia heard that Kamaki had already given away one, she became a little worried. “Wait, you want me to take part in the tournament?”

“Kamaki gave you a deck so don’t see why, is there a problem with it?” Pegasus asked Celestia.

“Yes, it is. I’m a princess and there’s a change that the pony I will be dueling will hold back.” Celestia told her.

“I agree with my sister, I think it’s a bad idea.” Said Luna.

Then Kamaki spoke up. “And I agree with Pegasus, I don’t see the big problem. Just dress like a normal pony or tell them not to hold back. If they can see you as a normal person, then they have a problem.” Kamaki spoke some sense, some ponies are afraid that they will hurt the princess feelings, Twilight Sparkle is a good example of that.

Then Pegasus clap his hands together. “Why don’t you two figure out things here while I head back, Kamaki can stay here a little longer and she will keep me update on what happens here. We can handle the papers after the tournament.” The sister agreed with that.

Kamaki wasn’t too happy what Pegasus said. “Great, so I am deliver girl.” She said with sarcasm.

Pegaus just smiled. “You’re the one who agreed with this.” He then turned around and walk back through the portal.

“And I’m starting to regret it.” It was to late, the portal was gone. “I guess better get to it.” Kamaki had a job to do.

Kamaki and the princess had finally managed to exit the Everfree forest.

“So, what are you two going to do?” Kamaki asked the sister.

“I’m heading to Ponyville, I’m going to have a talk with Rainbow Dash and how she behaved before. She is not going to get away with it.” Said Celestia.

Luna. “I’m heading back to Canterlot, I have to prepare myself if I’m going to talk to your president. What’s his name?” The princess asked Kamaki.

“I don’t know, I don’t care.” Not the answer Luna wanted. “Here’s another question, are you going to participate in the tournament Celestia or do I have to find another one to take your place?”

“You know what? I will participate, my life isn’t that exciting these days and today was the most fun I had in years.” Celestia told Kamaki with a smile.

Kamaki smiled herself. “Good, if you two will excuse me, I have to find some more duelist.” She then started to walk towards Ponyville leaving the two sisters alone with their guards.

“Things are getting interesting, right Celestia?” Said Luna.

“You can say that again.” Celestia look at her sister. “Are you heading back to castle?” Celestia asked her sister.

Luna nodded her head. “Yes, as I said, I need to prepare myself. Night guard, we are leaving.” The guards that was with her saluted and gathered around their princess, she then teleport them and herself away.

Then Celestia was alone with her own guards. “Right, let’s head to Ponyville.” She spread her wings and so did her guard who were all pegasus, they then flew towards the town.

Celestia and her guards landed in front of the library, she entered while her guards stood guard. Once inside she could see that Twilight was sitting on the couch, reading a book. “Twilight Sparkle.” Celestia’s voice scared Twilight that she drop her book and landed on the floor.

“Princess Celestia.” The unicorn got up. “I thought you were back in Canterlot, what are you doing here?” She asked her mentor.

“I told you we were going to have a talk, where is Rainbow Dash?”

Twilight had forgotten about that. “She headed home, she also said that she would make kamaki pay for what she did.”

Celestia couldn’t believe what she was hearing, Rainbow Dash didn’t listen to her at all. “When you see her you will tell her that she isn’t going anywhere near Kamaki, if I find out she will be in big trouble. Got it?” Twilight nodded her head like crazy. “Good. Now, I have to go and have a talk with the mayor.” She then headed to the door, when she open it she saw Spike standing there with two bags in his hands. “I can see that you are still using Spike, can’t say that I’m surprised.” She then left.

Spike then walk in with a confused face. “What’s going on?” He asked no one in particular.

One other side of town sat a Roseluck in her backyard, staring at her roses, she was thinking about stopping selling them. In the past few weeks no pony has bothered to buy them and it has affected her financially, she has almost no money to buy food. “Maybe I should move to Manehattan, maybe I have better luck there.” It didn’t sound like a bad idea.

Then a new voice spoke up. “Move from your home? Sound like stupide idea to me.” The new voice scared Roseluck that she actually jump a few centimeters from the ground, she turned around and saw the creature she saw earlier. “That’s if you are from Ponyville.”

Rose blink a dew times before she realized what just happened. “You’re creature I saw with Applejack.”

“That’s right, my name is Fugome Kamaki and I apologies that I scared you.” She then bowed. “I didn’t mean to eavesdrop on you, I was just exploring the town and I somehow ended up in your backyard.” She got up and look around. “I’m not entirely sure how I managed that.” She said while scratching her head.

Rose wasn’t entire sure what to think about this Fugome Kamaki, she almost acted like a different version of Pinkie, which was a little scary. “Don’t worry about it.” She went back to looking at her roses.

Then Kamaki sat down beside. “So, why do you want to move to another town?” The human asked Rose who didn’t answer, she didn’t want to. “I guess you don’t want to talk to a stranger and one that’s not a pony, maybe a stranger is what you need.”

Rose thought that she had a point. “I want to leave because nopony wants to by my roses and it’s ruined me, I have barely enough money for food, so I’m considering moving to Manehattan to start a new life there.” She let out a sad sighed. “I doubt anypony is going to miss me.” She then brought her legs closer to her chest and hug them with her arms.

Kamaki wasn’t sure what to say to her, she didn’t know her. So, she decided to help her the only way she knew. “Do you know what you need? A duel.”

Rose look over at Kamaki with a confused look. “A what now?”

Kamaki got up. “A duel, it usually cheers me up.”

And before Rose knew it, she was standing in front of Kamaki with something called a duel disk on her left wrist. Kamaki gave her a deck and the rulers, and after reading the rules and looking at the cards, they were going to duel. Roseluck was still not sure how she ended up in this situation.

They both drew five card. “Since this is your first time, I’ll go first.” Rose didn’t mind. “I draw.” Kamaki look at her cards and they were: Atlantean Pikeman, Atlantean Marksman, Legendary Atlantean Tridon, Salvage, Surface, and Poseidon Wave. ‘Not a bad hand.’ Kamaki thought. “First, I’m going to place on card face down.” She placed Poseidon wave. “And then I’m going to summon Legendary Atlantean Tridon in attack mode.” (atk: 1600 def: 800) Kamaki placed the card and up from the ‘water’ came weird blue fish, it’s tail was mead of metal. “Then I end my turn.”

Rose was just confused, she had no idea how Kamaki made that monster. “How did you do that? You created a weird fish.” She said while pointing at the monster." Kamaki explained.

Kamaki lifted her left arm. “it’s the duel disk, I creates a 3D image of the card when you placed it on one of the five slots.

Rose had no idea what Kamaki was talking about but it look like magic, so she was going with that. Then it was her turn, she drew her card and look at her hand: Blue Rose Dragon, Botanical Girl, Roxrose Dragon, Witch of the Black Rose, Basak Rose Shoot, Wall of Thorns. Of all of the card, Witch of the black rose was the only one that could destroy Kamaki’s monster but Rose had to take a change, let’s try. “I summon Witch of the Black rose in attack mode.) (atk: 1700 def: 1200) “Since I control no other cards, I have to draw a card and if it’s not a monster, Witch of the Black Rose gets destroyed.” She drew her card and look at it, she then showed it to Kamaki. “It’s Rose Fairy, which means that Black Rose doesn’t get destroyed and since I drew Rose Fairy by a card effect, I can summon her, I placed her in defense mode.” (atk: 600 def: 1200) She placed it defense. “Now I’m going to attack your Legendary Atlantean Tridon with Black Rose.” The monster fired a beam from the staff it was holding.

Kamaki just smiled. “I don’t think so, I active my trap, Poseidon wave.” A card came up. “What’s this does is negate your attack,” A wave of water stop the attack. “and since I negate your attack, you get hit for 800 damage of every sea serpent monster I have.” She had one with means a wind of gust hit Rose.

Roseluck: 3200

Rose didn’t know that cards could do that. “I guess I end my turn.”

Kamaki was surprised that Rose did that, she could have done more. “You know that you could have synchro summon a stronger monster or have placed a card face down.” Rose look at her cards and saw that she could have, she felt pretty stupid. “Don’t worry, everyone makes mistakes their first time.” Rose knew she was right, the earth pony wasn’t that committed to this card game but she felt pretty stupid.

Then it was Kamaki’s turn, she drew her card and it was Atlantean Attack Squad, she would save this for later. “Now I summon Atlantean Pikeman in attack mode.” (atk: 1400 def: 0) Another fish monster appeared, this one was green and was holding a spear. “Now I’m going to tribute Tridon and Pikemen to summon Poseidra, the Atlantean Dragon." (atk: 2800 def: 1600) Kamaki send two cards to the graveyard and then she look through her deck until she found the card, she took it and placed the deck back, it shuffled. She then placed the card on the duel disk and a blue dragon who was wearing armor appeared. “And since I summon Poseidra this way, your monster losses 300 attack points.” They did that. “Now, attack her Witch of the Black Rose.” Kamaki’s monster fired water from its mouth which destroyed her monster. “I end my turn.”

Roseluck: 1800

Rose may not care much of this game but she didn’t like to lose. “I draw.” It was Fragrance Storm, a card she didn’t want use now. She look at her cards and picked one. “I summon Roxrose Dragon.” She played the card. “When this card is summon, I can add card with name Black rose Dragon in its name from my deck.” She picked her deck and look at the, she picked on. “I chose White Rose Dragon.” She placed the card in her hand. “And now I will tune my level 3 Roxrose Dragon with my level 3 Rose Fairy to summon Splendid Rose." (atk: 2200 def:2000) Rose picked up the two cards and placed them in the graveyard, then they both watch as Rose Fairy flew up and Roxrose Dragon became three circles which surrounded Rose Fairy, which then became a light. Rose then placed the card on the disk and Splendid Rose appeared Kamaki became a little worried, she knew what the card could do. “Now, by banish a plant monster from my graveyard, Splendid Rose can cut your monster attack point in half.” Rose did that and Splendid Rose used it’s wines to rap around Kamaki’s monster who’s attack point was now 1400. “Now, Splendid Rose, attack her monster.” Splendid Rose used her wine to destroy the monster.

Kamaki: 3200

“I end my turn by placing one card face down.” She placed Wall of Thorns.

Kamaki was impressed, considering that Roseluck wasn’t that into it at the begin. “I draw.” She drew Aegis of the Ocean Dragon Lord and she couldn’t help but smile. “This can come in handy. First, I place one card face down.” She placed the card she drew. “Then I play the spell card Surface, this card let me summon one level 3 or lover monster from my graveyard, I chose Legendary Atlantean Tridon.” The blue fish came back. “Then I summon Atlantean attack squad.” (atk: 1400 def: 0 A green fish appeared and this one had a sword and shield. “Atlantean attack squad gets an extra 800 attack points when I have another sea serpent monster on my field and that’s Legendary Atlantean Tridon.” Now attack squad attack power was 2200. “Now, attack Splendid Rose.” Attack squad flew towards Splendid Rose.

Roseluck was ready. “I active my trap, Wall of Thorns. Since you target Splendid Rose, wall of thorns will now destroy your monster.” Wines came out of the trap card.

Kamaki had also a trap card. “I active my trap card Aegis of the Ocean Dragon Lord, until my end face all level 3 or lover water monster cannot be destroyed by battle or card affect, which means Wall of Thorns doesn’t affect my monster.” Rose had to place Wall of Thorns in the graveyard while Kamaki’s monster destroyed her Splendid Rose. “I end my turn.”

Roseluck was in trouble, she had no monster while Kamaki had two. She drew her card and it was Thorn of Malice, Thorn of Malice, it was a card she couldn’t use. “I place Botanical Girl in defense mode,” (atk: 1300 def: 1100) “then I end my turn.”

The Kamaki drew her card and it was Neptabyss, the Atlantean Prince, she could summon it but it was no point. “Alright, Legendary Atlantean Tridon attack her Botanical Girl.” Tridon destroyed Roseluck monster. “Now Atlantean attack squad, attack Roseluck directly.” Rose had lost.

After the battle, Roseluck fell on her butt and she didn’t know why. Rose had no idea why she lost her balance, was it because she was attack by that monster or she was overwhelmed by the whole thing? Whatever it was, she liked it and she wanted to duel again.

“You okay?” Rose look up and saw Kamaki holding out her hand, the pony took it and the human pulled her up.

“Yes, I’m okay. Thank you.” Rose told kamaki while she brushed of her pants.

Kamaki smiled. “That’s good to hear. So, was it any fun?” She asked Rose.

Roseluck look at the duel disk and smiled. “Yes, I had fun.” Then she realized something. “Wait, did you duel me to lift me spirit?” She asked the human.

Kamaki placed both hands behind her head. “You could say that, dueling always make me happy and when I saw how sad you were, I thought a duel could make you smile. I like when you smile.” That made Rose blush like crazy, she didn’t expect that.

She recovered fast. “So, do you want your cards back?” She didn’t want to but they weren’t hers.

“No, keep them but there’s a catch.” There always are. “We are going to have a tournament in a few days to introduce duel monster to Equestria and I’m looking for ponies that can duel in the tournament, I was hoping you would participate.”

Roseluck wasn’t sure. “Something tells I have to give the cards back if I say no.”

“I’m afraid so.” Rose knew she would say that.

Should she do it? She had fun and if she said yes she could duel again and maybe she wouldn’t make so many mistake. “You know what, I’ll do it. I had fun and I want to duel again. Who ells is going to participate?”

“For now, you and Celestia.”

Rose’s eyes widen when she heard Celestia’s name. “Princess Celestia is going to participate? Tell me your joking.” She exclaimed.

Kamaki had to back away a little, she had no idea why she yelled. “What’s the big deal? I duel against Celestia and I didn’t panic, I had fun.”

It didn’t help, Rose was still panicking. “You may don’t think it’s a big deal, you’re not from around here. If I ended up dueling the princess and won she could throw me in jail.” Rose then started to breath heavily.

Kamaki decided to try and calm the pony down. “Okay, I think your overreacting. I duel against her and I won, I didn’t end up in jail. She actually smiled as she lost.”

Roseluck managed to calm down “Really?” Kamaki nodded. “Maybe I’m overreacting, it’s just a card game.” Rose look at the deck. “Alright, I will still participate.”

That made Kamaki smile. ”Great. By the way, I never got your name.”

Rose blink a few times. “You didn’t.” Kamaki shock her head. “Right, my name is Roseluck.”

“A nice name.” Kamaki was about to go when she remember something. “You may keep the deck but not the duel disk, I only have two and Pegasus would probably fire me if I lost one.”

Rose took it off and handed it to Kamaki. “So, who is this Pegasus you mention?”

Kamaki placed both duel disks back in the backpack. “He’s from my world and he created the cards you used in our duel.” Rose look at the card and was amazed how creative this Pegasus. “He also wanted to sell duel monster in Equestria and you know how.” She then placed a backpack on her back. “Well, I’ll see you around Roseluck and keep an eye on the paper, something tells me the tournament will be mentioned there.” She then started to walk.

Rose just watch as Kamaki disappeared around the corner of her house and she couldn’t help but think that she wasn’t that scary, she was nice.

While Kamaki and Rose was dueling, a certain dragon had learn about Kamaki and the card game she had brought with her and he was not happy that Twilight didn’t bring him along.

“Why didn’t you bring me with you for this?” Spike asked Twilight with some frustration in his voice.

“There is no need to raise your voice Spike, it’s not a big a deal.” Said Twilight while placing books in the bookshelf’s.”

“Not a big deal? You always leave me out of things that happens in Ponyville, while you and your friends go out on an adventure I have to stay here and do your work.” He told her while pointing at her.

Twilight turned to him and crossed her arms. “Name one time I have done that.”

“Oh, I can name more than one. What about that time Celestia was visiting Ponyville, you decided to go and see how the preparation was going while I had to stay and clean up the mess you made.” Twilight remember that. “Then there was the time you girls went to talk to the dragon, I had to stay and take care of Fluttershy’s animal when you could have brought me with you because I’m a dragon.” Spike had a point. “Then there was Zecora, I found the solution to the problem but you didn’t listen.” Now Twilight felt guilty. “I don’t think I’m your assistant, I’m your fucking servant and I had enough of this crap. From now you can cook your own meal, you can clean the library yourself because I quit.” And before Twilight could respond, Spike had left.

After Spike left the library he decided to wander Ponyville to try and calm down. “Stupide Twilight, always bossing me around and not invite me along when she and her friends go on an adventure.” He should be angry at Applejack and the others but it wasn’t their fault, they just went along whatever Twilight said and did. “Sometimes I wish that princess Celestia didn’t give my egg to Twilight.” He keep on walking.

Spike had no idea how long he had walked but he notice he had ended up in the park. “Huh, how did I get here?” He asked himself as he look around and he could see kids playing at playground, some ponies had a picnic and others was sitting on benches, talking. There was one that got Spike attention and that was the creature that was not a pony, the human. “That must be that Kamaki Twilight mention.” He saw that she sat down on a bench.

“Ha, that felt good.” After her duel with Roseluck, Kamaki found the park and decided to take a break on one of the benches there, she needed to relax a little. She was more tired than she realized, the two duels she had took more energy than she thought. “I hope I don’t have to duel more today.” She said to herself.

Then Dark magician girl appeared behind. “There’s a change that you will not get your wish granted.” She told Kamaki.

The human look at the spirit. “What are you talking about?” She asked the magician who just pointed at something or someone so Kamaki look where she pointing and boy was she surprised, walking towards them was purple/green dragon. “Of course they have dragons in this world, they have magic.” Kamaki mumble to herself.

Spike stop right in front of Kamaki. “Your that human that played a card game against princess Celestia, right?” He asked the human.

Kamaki raised an eyebrow. “I am.” She was curious was this dragon wanted.

Spike got a serious look on him. “I want to play this card game.”

Kamaki kind of knew he would say that. “And what’s the reason for this?” She didn’t know.

“I want to get back at Twilight.” Now Kamaki was confused. “She didn’t tell me of what happened when you arrived, I was left out but she isn’t around to tell me what to do so I want to play your card game.”

Kamaki had heard many excuse when it came to dueling but this was just pathetic. “Sorry kid, it’s not going to happened.” She leaned her head back and closed her eyes.

“Why?” Spike exclaimed.

“Why?” Kamaki look at Spike. “You only want to get back a Twilight for a reason that sounded dumb, your felling left out and that had made you angry, I don’t duel against does who are angry.”

Spike tried to say something but she was right, he was angry and that clouded his judgment. “Your right, I am angry. I’m angry that Twilight and her friends goes on adventure and I have to stay home and do Twilight’s work, I cook for her, I clean, I do everything she says and what do I get in return? Nothing.” He then started to cry. “I feel worthless.” Even more tears came.

Kamaki just watch as this dragon cry and she could help but feel sorry for him. “I hope I don’t regret this.” She sat up. “What’s your name?” She asked him.

“It’s Spike.” He said between he crying.

“Look Spike, it sound like Twilight is treating you badly but this way is not the way to ‘get back’ at her. It’s a stupide reason.” Spike look down on the ground in shame. “But I’m going to let you play,” Spike look up in surprised, he didn’t expect to hear her say that. “There is one thing I don’t like to see is other crying, so let’s change that with a duel.” She grabbed her backpack and started to search through it. “I think you will like this deck.” She hand him a deck.

Spike happily took them and saw the first card, it was a black dragon. "Red-Eyes Black Dragon?"

Kamaki nodded. “Yeap, that’s the name of the card and most of the other cards are similar to the Red Eyes.”

Spike could only say one thing to that. “Cool. So, how does this work?”

“We both get 4000 life points which have to get down to zero by the help of monster, spell and trap cards. We also use these.” Spike watch as Kamaki took out two metal devices. “These are duel disk and they make the game a little more fun, which you will see in a moment.” She then gave one of them to Spike. “Now, let’s duel.”

Kamaki gave Spike a few minutes with the deck and the rule book, the dragon then strap the duel disk on his left arm, they picked their five cards and they were ready.

Kamaki: 4000

“We have a saying on my world, ladies first. I draw.” She drew her card and look at them, they were: Lemuria, the Forgotten City, Legendary Atlantean Tridon, Poseidon Wave, Surface, and 2 Atlantean Pikeman's. “This could work. I’m going to summon out Legendary Pikeman (atk: 1800 def:0) in defense mode.” Kamaki placed a card on the disk and out came a green fish thing and it was standing on its knee, it had a spear in its hand.

Spike was surprised of what she did. “How did you do that?” She asked Kamaki.

Kamaki could only think déjà vu. “It’s the duel disk, it creates a 3D images of the card you place on the disk.” Spike thought it was cool. “It’s your turn.”

Before Spike could anything, the ponies around them had notice the duel and they was wondering what was going on. They decided to watch.

Spike drew his card and the cards he was holding: The Black Stone of Legend, Red Eyes Black Dragon, Red Eyes Baby Dragon, Red Eyes Soul, Cards of the Red Stone, Red Eyes Spirit. Spike knew what he should play. “Alright, I will summon The Black Stone of Legend (atk:0 def:0) in attack mode.” Spike placed the card on the duel disk and a red stone appeared, Kamaki knew what came next. “Then I am going to tribute it and I can then summon Red Eyes Black Dragon from my hand.” (atk 2400 def: 2000) Spike send Black Stone to the graveyard and he then placed Red Eyes on the disk and out came a black dragon. “Now Red Eyes, attack Kamaki monster.” Red Eyes fired away a ball of fire that destroyed Pikeman.

The ponies that was watching couldn’t believe what they were seeing, Spike and the human managed to summon out monsters without using magic. They were frightened and amazed at the same time, they also wanted to know what they were playing.

Then it was Kamaki turn, she drew her card and it was Atlantean Attack Squad, it could come in handy but not right now. “I’m going to summon another Pikeman, in attack mode.” Another fish with a spear appeared. “Then I’m going to activate the spell card surface, his card let me summon 1 level 3 or lower sea serpent from my graveyard in defense position, come on back Pikeman.” Another green fish with spear appeared, kneeling. Kamaki then took another card. “I think it’s time we change the scenery, I activate the field spell Lemuria, the forgotten city.” Kamaki placed the card in the extra slot that appeared on the duel disk and then an entire city appeared, it was also underwater. “Here all water monster gain 200 attack and defense points.” Both of her monsters became stronger. “and now I’m going to active another effect of Lemuria, I can raise the level of my monster equal to the number of water monster I have out on the field, since I have two water monster they both becomes level 4.” Spike watch as both of them became level 4, he could only wonder why. “Now I overlay both of my Pikeman so I can Xyz summon Abyss Dweller." (atk: 1700 def:1400) She placed both Pikeman cards on top of each other and then she summon a new monster, it was giant black sea serpent with yellow eyes which scared some of the ponies that was watching. Not Spike, he thought it was cool.

“Thanks to Lemuria, it’s get 200 attack and defense points.” It did that. “Then I place one card face down and end my turn.”

Spike and the ponies was amazed how Kamaki summoned that monster, Spike wonder how if he could do that. He then drew the card, it was Red Eyes Wyvern. Spike wasn’t about to use that now, he grabbed a card. “I’m going to summon Red Eyes baby Dragon (atk:1200 def: 700) in defense mode.” A small version of Red Eyes appeared. “Now, Red Eyes Black Dragon, attack Kamaki monster.” Red Eyes fired away another fire ball.

Kamaki was ready. “I activate a trap, Poseidon Wave.” A card flip. “What this card does is negate your attack,” Water came out of the card and extinguished the fire ball. “and then you take 800 points of damage for every sea serpent monster I have out on the field and I have one.” A wind came from the card which struck Spike.

Spike: 3200

So, that was a trap card, Spike saw that he had one to. “I place one card face down and end my turn.” The ponies had no idea what just happened, but it look like Spike was losing.

Kamaki drew her card, it was Rage of Kairyu-Shin. “Alright, summon Atlantean Attack Squad.” (atk: 1400 def:0) A green fish with a sword and shield appeared. “Thanks to Lemuria it’s gets 200 extra attack and defense point, and thanks to it special ability, it’s get 800 extra attack points when there are another sea serpent on the field and I have one.” The attack points became 2400. “And I’m not done yet, thanks to Abyss Dweller, attack squad gets another 500 attack point.” It was now 2900. “Now, Atlantean Attack Squad attack Spike’s Red Eyes.” Attack squad attack with its sword and Red Eyes was destroyed. “Abyss Dweller, attack Red Eyes baby dragon.” The sea serpent attack with water from its mouth destroying Spike’s last monster. “I end my turn.”

Spike: 2700

Spike knew he was losing but right now, he didn’t care, he as having way to much fun. “I draw.” He drew the card and it was Red Eyes Alternative Black Dragon and he like what he read on the card, but first. “I active black stone of legend special ability, while this card is in the graveyard I can retrieve a level 1 or 7 Red Eyes monster and shuffled it back to my deck, I chose Red Eyes baby Dragon.” Before he could do that.

“I don’t think so.” Spike stop. “I activate Abyss Dweller special ability, by removing one overlay unit which means you can’t activate any card effects in your graveyard this turn.” Abyss Dweller ate one of the orbs that was floating around it, then the monsters eyes glowed stopping Spike’s move. Kamaki then notice that Spike was just staring at her. “What?”

“What’s an overlay unit?” He didn’t know.

Kamaki pointed at her monster. “You see that orb that is floating around Abyss Dweller?” Spike nodded his head. “They are called overlay unit and Xyz monster need those to active their special ability, which are the cards I used to summon it with.” She placed a Atlantean Pikeman in the graveyard. “When there are no more overlay units, Abyss Dweller can active its special ability anymore. I think you have one in your extra deck.”

Spike thought was pretty cool and he hope he could summon one to. Now, back to the duel. “Since I can’t use black stone of legend ability from the graveyard anymore, I activate the trap card Red eyes spirit which let me summon a Red Eyes monster from my graveyard, I summon Red Eyes black Dragon.” The black dragon came back and kamaki had a felling what Spike would do next. “Now, I tributing Red Eyes to summon Red Eyes Alternative Black Dragon.” (atk:2400 def:2000) He send Red Eyes back to the graveyard and then summon a new monster, it look like a red version of Red Eyes. “Red Eyes Alternative Black Dragon attack Kamaki’s Abyss Dweller.” The dragon attack with a fire ball, destroying Abyss Dweller.

Kamaki: 3500

Then it was Kamaki’s turn and she was a little worried, Atlantean Attack Squad attack point was now 1600. She knew what to do. But first, she drew her card and it was Abyss Soldier, she could use this card later. “Now I’m going to tribute Atlantean Attack Squad and Legendary Atlantean Tridon in my hand which means I can summon Poseidra, the Atlantean Dragon (atk: 2800 def: 1600) from my deck.” Kamaki send both cards to the graveyard and then she found the card, she then summoned it, she then placed the deck back and it shuffled. “And since I summoned Poseidra this way, your monster losses 300 hundred attack points.” It happened. “And don’t forget about Lemuria which give my monster 200 extra attack and defense points.” That also happened. “Poseidra, attack Red Eyes Alternative Black Dragon.” Poseidra attack and destroyed Spike’s monster.

Spike: 1600

Then it was Spike turn, he drew his card and it was Red Eyes Transmigration, he didn’t need that now. “Since you destroyed Red Eyes Alternative Black Dragon I can now summon a Red Eyes from my graveyard, I summon Red Eyes Black Dragon.” The dragon came back. “And since I summon Red Eyes this way, it’s attack points are now double.” Red Eyes attack point became 4800. “Red Eyes, attack Kamaki’s Poseidra.” Red Eyes fired away a fire ball that destroyed Poseidra. “I end my turn.”

Kamaki: 1700

Kamaki was impressed that Spike was doing so great, but she wasn’t about to lose. She drew her card and saw that it was Call of the Atlanteans Call of the Atlanteans which made her smile. “It’s been fun Spike but it’s time to end this duel.” Spike didn’t like the sound of that. “First I’m going to summon Abyss Soldier.” (atk: 1800 def: 1300) Out came a monster that look like whale. “Then I’m going to active the spell card Call of the Atlanteans, this spell card let me summon 3 level 3 or lower sea serpent monster from my graveyard and I have just that. I summon Atlantean Attack Squad and 2 Atlantean Pikeman’s in attack.” The three monster came back. “and thanks to Lemuria they all get 200 extra attack and defense points.” They did. “Atlantean Attack Squad gets an extra 800 attack point since I have another sea serpent out.” It’s attack was now 2400.

Spike didn’t understand how Kamaki could win, his Red Eyes dragon was stronger. Kamaki wasn’t finished. “Now I activate Abyss Soldier special ability, by sending one water monster to the graveyard I can target one card on the field and return the card to the hand.” Spike knew how Kamaki could win. “I send one Atlantean Pikeman to the graveyard,” She did that. “and now I target your Red Eyes black dragon which means you have to place it back in your hand.” Abyss Soldier’s eyes glowed and Spike had to remover the card. “Now, Atlantean Attack Squad attack Spike directly.”

Spike could just watch as Kamaki’s monster flew towards him and he didn’t care, this was fun.

Dueling at the Farm

After the duel all the ponies that was watching gather around Spike and then they started to ask him question about what they saw, what the game was called, how he managed to create those monster and where they could play the game.

Kamaki saw that Spike was getting uncomfortable so she decided to help him. “Alright, let’s give Spike some room.” She told them while walking up to the dragon. “Spike can’t answer your question but I can, what he and I was playing was duel monster, it’s a card game from my world. How we managed to create those monster is because of the duel disk.” She showed it to them. “The duel disk create a 3D picture of the card we play.” It was probably more advance then that but Kamaki had no idea how it work, so she keep it simple. “And when it comes to if you can play it, not right now.” Some of them was disappointed when they heard that. “Don’t worry, if everything goes as planned duel monster card will be on sale in around 2 to 3 weeks. There also going to be a small tournament in a few days to introduce duel monster to Equestria in a few days, it will be held just outside Ponyville.”

The ponies was actually looking forward to that, then one of them ask a good question. “Is hard to play this game?” Asked the female pony.

Kamaki nodded her head side to side. “It can be a little overwhelming at first, but when you get into it can be a lot of fun and that’s the point with the game, to have fun.” Kamaki didn’t tell them that there was some humans that could take the game a little too serious, Kaiba.

After that the ponies went back to whatever they were doing before the Kamaki and Spike’s duel. “Thanks for that, I couldn’t answer any of their questions.” Said Spike to the human.

Kamaki just giggled. “Your welcome.” She asked him give back the duel disk, he did. “So, was it fun?” She asked him as she placed the two duel disk back in the backpack.

“Hell yeah, that was most fun I had in a long time.” He told her with a smile on his face.

That made Kamaki smile. “That’s good, one should always have fun while dueling.” She placed the backpack on her back. “So, what are you going to do now? It sounded like you don’t want to go back to Twilight.”

Spike look down on the ground, deep in thought. “No, I think I’m going to get my stuff and ask Applejack if I can stay at her for a while.” He look up at the human. “Can you be there when I get my stuff from Twilight?” Kamaki didn’t expect him to ask her that.

“Are you sure you want me? I don’t know or her, why not ask someone ells?”

Spike placed his hands together. “Please, just this one time.” He was actually begging her.

Kamaki couldn’t help but think how pathetic he look. “Alright, just stop begging already.” With that said they headed towards the library.

When Kamaki saw the tree again she still couldn’t believe that it was a tree, she really started to hate magic. Spike open the door and they walk in and they saw Twilight sitting on the couch reading a book, it was like nothing had happened.

Twilight heard someone open the door and look up from the book, she was happy that it was Spike, not so happy when she saw the human. “spike.” She placed the book on the table. “I knew you would come back.” Spike said nothing as he walk up to the second floor to get his stuff. “Where are you going?” Twilight asked the dragon who didn’t respond at all, she then look over at Kamaki who was leaning against the wall. “What did you say to him?” She asked the human.

Kamaki was clueless. “I don’t know what you are talking about, Spike came to me and told me how you have been treating him, I felt bad for him so we duel.”

Twilight raised an eyebrow. “You and Spike duel?”

Kamaki couldn’t help but frowned. “Wow, that’s what you are focusing on?” She then shook her head. “Unbelievable. I’m starting to see why Spike is so angry at you.”

Twilight was about to tell her to leave when Spike came walking down the stairs with a bag full of clothes. “Spike?” He didn’t listen to Twilight as he just walk out, Kamaki followed. “Spike, het back here now.” Said Twilight as she followed them. But they were gone. “SPIKE.” After leaving the library Kamaki told Spike that if he wanted to keep cards he had to enter a tournament they were holding a few day, to promote duel monster to Equestria, Spike had no problem with that.

Celestia on the other hand had no idea what was going on with Twilight and Spike, she had talk with Mayor Mare and they had come to agreement that the princess could build a miniature station outside Ponyville for the tournament, all Celestia had to do now was to head back To Canterlot and hire some ponies that could make the stadium. Celestia could yell and Rainbow Dash another day.

Spike and Kamaki had finally reached their destination, Applejack’s farm. After leaving Spike said he was going to ask Applejack if he could stay at their place, he wasn’t sure if he wanted to go back to Twilight. Spike told Applejack what happened and she couldn’t believe how dense she and the other have been, especially Twilight. Spike wasn’t mad at Applejack and the girls, only Twilight, they just did as Twilight told them, but he didn’t tell Applejack. After that Kamaki decided to head home, she said Farwell to the pony and dragon.

Kamaki had finally reached the entrance to the forest but then she saw someone standing guard there, her instincts told her to hide so she hide behind the nearest tree. Kamaki decided to see who it was and she wasn’t too happy when she saw who was standing guard. “You got to be kidding me.” She wasn’t going home at the moment.

The sun was setting in Equestria and a certain farmer was finally done with his chores for the day, the stallion was walking towards the barn to but away the scythe he had used to cut the grass on his farm, then he heard a voice from the barn. “Stupide Skittle, I don’t understand what I have done to her.” It was a voice he didn’t recognize so he decided to see who it was, the stallion open the door a little and saw a monkey creature sitting on one of the haystacks, she was looking at some black device? “I could be lying in a bed now but no, stupide pegasus had to be angry at me.” She was angry at someone, that was for sure.

The stallion by the name of Big McIntosh decided to see if this female creature was a threat or not, he open the doors to the barn. “Excuse me, is there a reason why you are in my barn?” He asked her.

Kamaki was so focus her phone that she didn’t notice the doors open but she heard someone talk, she look up from her phone and saw a giant red pony and he didn’t look happy. “Who are you?” She asked the stallion.

“My name is Big McIntosh and this is my barn. Now, what are you doing here?” He was getting a little impatient.

Kamaki tilted her head to the side in confusion. “Your barn? I thought this was Applejack’s barn.”

“She is my little sister, can you please answer my question, what are you doing here?”

Kamaki went back to the her phone. “I’m here because Skittles is guarding the entrance to the forest, which means I can’t go home.”

Now it’s was Mac’s turn to be confused. “Skittles? Who’s that?” He asked the human.

“The blue pegasus with colorful hair and tail.” Said Kamaki with some annoyance in her voice.

“Oh, you mean Rainbow Dash.” Kamaki nodded. “Yeah, she can be a little persistent at times.” He said while placing the scythe he used up against the wall.

Kamaki just snorted. “A little? Please, I have meet dogs that is less persistent then her.” She put away her phone. “I mean, I beat Celestia in a card game and when I tell her that she and her friends can’t meet my employer she tries to attack me.” She then crossed her arms. “I was just glad that Celestia was there to stop her.”

Mac was lost again. “You beat princess Celestia in a card game?” He then look at the cards she had in her lap. “What kind of card game?”

Kamaki took out some cards. “They are called duel monster and my employer Maximillion Pegasus want to sell them in Equestria, there is going to be a tournament in a few days to promote them.”

Mac was intrigued. “Is it difficult to play?”

Kamaki didn’t expect to hear that question. “You want to play?” He nodded his head. “After so little information?”

“Sometimes you don’t need much information and besides, I could use some excitement in my life.”

All kamaki could think about was how weird this guy was. “Alright, if you want to then I’m not going to argue.” She got up. “But if you want to keep the cards then you have to enter the tournament, it’s kind of a rule we have.”

Mac wasn’t entire sure about that. “Can I answer after we are done playing?” he asked her.

Kamaki shrugged her shoulders. “Sure.” She then grabbed her backpack that was beside her. “Let’s see here.” She then open it up and started to search. “I think this deck could work for you.” She walk over to him and gave it to him.

Mac happily accepted it and look at one of the cards, it look like a pony with red armor. "Gladiator Beast Darius?"

“Yeap, the card are called Gladiator Beast. Ever duel card is different in their own way.” She then took out a metal device from her backpack. “By the way, my name is Fugome Kamaki.” She then gave it to Mac. “Let’s duel.”

Kamaki: 4000

Mac: 4000

After Kamaki explain the rules and how the duel disk worked, they took their placed in the barn, Mac stood by the door while Kamaki stood on the other side. “Do you want to go first?” Kamaki asked Mac.

Mac knew the answer to that “No, you go first. I want to see how it works.”

That works for Kamaki. “Alright.” She drew her card and her six cards was; Beat, Bladesman fur hire, Sagitta, Maverick fur hire, Wiz, Sage fur hire, Rookie fur hire, Mayhem fur hire, and Back to the Front. Kamaki wasn’t entirely sure what to do, she didn’t know these cards. “Okay, I’m going to summon Beat, Bladesman fur hire in attack mode.” Kamaki placed the card on the duel disk and weird animal with a sword appeared. “I can now summon another fur hire monster from my hand, I summon Sagitta, Maverick fur hire in defense mode.” This time a bird like creature appeared and it was holding some kind of weapon, it was also knelling. “Since I special summoned Sagitta and thanks to her special ability, you take 500 points of damaged for each fur hire monster I have out.” The bird fired something at Mac, which didn’t hurt but he lost 500.

Mac: 3500

“And now I can add one fur hire monster from my deck to my hand.” Kamaki took her deck and look through it, she chose Seal, Strategist fur hire. She placed the deck back, it shuffled. “You can now only attack Sagitta. I end my turn with a card face down.” She placed back to the front and Mac watch as a card appeared which he couldn’t see.

“Um, can I ask a question?”

Kamaki was now curious. “Sure.”

“Sagitta is a level 5 monster and read in the rulebook that one has to tribute another monster card to summon a level 5 monster.”

Kamaki liked that Mac asked that question. “That is normally the case, but there are exceptions and since I had Beat on my field I could summon Sagitta. If I wasn’t allowed to do it the duel disk wouldn’t let me do it, I didn’t cheat.” Mac didn’t think she was cheating but he had to ask and Kamaki didn’t mind.

Then it was Mac turn and he drew the card and his six cards was.; Gladiator Beast Andal, Laquari, Test Tiger, Augustus, Unexpected Dai, and Gladiator Beast's comeback. Mac like the last card but he would save it for later, he knew what to do, he hope. “Okay, I’m going to active the spell card unexpected Dai.” He placed in the slot the way so he could activate it. “Since I have no monster I can now special summon 1 level 4 or lower from my deck, I summon Andal.” Mac found the card from his deck and placed it on the duel disk and a giant bear appeared. “Now I’m going to summon test tiger.” A tiger appeared. “I can now tribute this card,” He placed it in the graveyard. “which let me shuffle one Gladiator beast I control into my deck,” He did that. “that lets me summoned another Gladiator beast from my deck.” He picked the card. “I summon Augustus.” A giant bird with armor and a sword appeared. “Since I special summon Augustus, I can now special summon another Gladiator beast from my hand, I summon Laquari in defense mode.” A tiger on two legs appeared while Kamaki was impressed by Mac, she didn’t believe he could play that well on his first time. “Now, Augustus attack Kamaki’s Beat.” Augustus flew towards Beat to destroyed it.

“Hold on Mac, I guess have forgotten that you can only attack my Sagitta.” Mac had forgotten it, Augustus then flew towards the bird and destroyed it. Kamaki was prepare. “I activate the trap card back to the front, it let me special summon a monster from my graveyard, I chose Sagitta.” The monster Mac just destroyed came back. “Since Sagitta was special summon, you lost another 500 life points.” Sagitta fired something that hit Mac.

Mac: 3000

Mac knew now how trap cards work. “Since this is my end face I have to shuffled Laquari back into my deck.” He did that. “I end my turn.” Kamaki was impressed by how Mac was doing.

It was Kamai’s turn but before she could draw her card, both of them heard a voice. “Mac? Where the hay are you?” It was Applejack.

“I’m in the barn.” Said Mac.

“What are you doing in the barn?” Applejack asked as she open the doors, she poked her head in and saw what he was doing. “Wait, your dueling?” She then saw the human. “Against Kamaki?”

Kamaki decided to be sarcastic. “Of course he’s dueling me, who ells has duel monster cards and duel disks.” Applejack just gave the human an annoyed stare.

Then a new voice spoke up. “Wait, Mac is dueling?” it was Spike was also poked his head in the barn. “Cool, can I watch?” Before Kamaki or Mac could say anything, he walk in and sat down on haystack.

Applejack also walk in. “Instead of telling me where you are, you decided to do this?” She asked with annoyance in her voice.

Mac had no idea why his sister was angry at him. “Do you have to know where I am all the time?” He asked her.

Applejack crossed her arms. “No, but I was worried.”

Then a new voice spoke up. “What’s going on?” Kamaki didn’t recognize the voice, it sounded young. In walk a young yellow pony with red hair, she also had a bow in her hair. The pony then saw Kamaki and Mac. “Big brother, what are you doing?” She asked Mac.

“Apple Bloom, I told you to wait inside.” Applejack told her with annoyance in her voice.

“Oh come on, it’s not dark outside and beside, granny said it was okay. Why is Mac with that monster?” She asked while pointing at the human.

Everyone look over at Kamaki who was now offended. “So, I’m a monster now.” She rolled her eyes. “That’s just great.” She crossed her arms and started to pout.

Applejack look at her sister with a horrified look. “Bloom, that’s no way to talk to someone and how said that she is a monster?”

“Scootaloo, who heard it from Rainbow Dash.”

Applejack let out a sighed as she placed a hand on her face. “Of course it was Dash, who ells could it be.” AJ look at her sister with disappointment. “You and your friends shouldn’t listen to everything Dash says, Kamaki is no monster. Kamaki is a human and she has come her to promote a card game, Duel monster.” AJ then look over at the human. “Did I get that right?”

Kamaki shrugged her shoulders. “Pretty much, but right now me and Mac are dueling.” They went back to it.

Apple Bloom had no idea what was going on but she wanted to find out, she walk over to Spike and sat down. “So, how does this work?” She asked the dragon.

He was happy to explain. “Each duelist get a deck of 40 cards and they both get 4000 life point, then they have to get the life point down to zero with the help of the cards which is a mix of monster, spell and trap cards.” It sounded easy to Apple Bloom, but it was probably not.

“And how are they creating these monsters? None of them are a unicorn.” She asked while looking at the mosnters.

Spike pointed at Kamaki’s left arm. “It because of the duel disk, it creates a 3D image of the card they play, it’s like when a unicorn use it’s magic to bring a picture to life.” Apple Bloom nodded her head in understanding, she understood half of what Spike said.

Then it was Kamaki turn and she drew her card and it was another Beat which made her smile. “Since I have Beat on my field I am allowed to special summon another fur hire monster form my hand, I summon Wiz, Sage fur hire in defense.” A monster with a staff appeared and she was kneeling. “Since I special summoned Wiz, I gain 500 life points for every fur hire I have on the field, I have two which means 1000.”

Kamaki: 5000

“Now I summon another Beat in attack mode.” Another monster with sword appeared. “And now I’m going to overlay my two Beat’s so I can build the overlay network which means I can now Xyz summon Lavalval Ignis." Both Beat became energy and disappeared into a red vortex and out came a man appeared which was on fire and his body was in armor.

Apple Bloom had no idea what just happened but she thought it was awesome. “Spike, what just happened?” She asked the dragon.

“As Kamaki said, it’s an Xyz summon. From what I have read you have to have two monster with the same level in this, level 3. Then you can Xyz summon, don’t ask why because I don’t know.” He then look at Kamaki’s monsters. “Wait a minute, those cards that Kamaki is using isn’t the same she used when we duel.”

That got the Apples attention. “What do you mean Spike.” Asked AJ.

“She used monster that look like fish with legs and that doesn’t look like a fish to me.” He told them while pointing at the monster.

Then Applejack spoke up. “Your right Spike, when she duel against princess Celestia she used monster that look like dragons.”

“The deck I’m using now were assemble by my employer and his people, if I used my own deck then I could have won very easy and that’s something I won’t do, not against beginners.” That meant sense, in away. “Now, Lavalval Ignis attack Mac’s Augustus.” Lavalval Ignis started to fire its self up. Apple Bloom had no idea why, while Spike and Applejack didn’t understand why she did that, Mac’s monster had more attack point. “I active Lavalval Ignis special ability, since Lavalval Ignis attacks I can remove both overlay units and for each I remove, Lavalval Ignis gets 500 extra attack point.” She did that and then Kamaki’s monster attack point was now 2800. Lavalval Ignis fired away a fire ball that destroyed Mac’s Augustus.

Mac: 2800

Apple Bloom had no idea what happened. “Hey, why did my brothers monster disappeared?” She asked them all.

“In duel monster the weakest monster gets destroyed.” Kamaki told her. “And now I end my turn which means Lavalval Ignis attack points goes back to normal.” I did that.

Mac send it to the graveyard and drew his next card, it was Rescue Rabbit and when Mac read what it could do he got an idea. “I’m going to summon Rescue Rabbit.” He placed the card on the field and a rabbit with a helmet appeared.

When Apple Bloom saw the monster she couldn’t help but giggle. “Look, it’s Angel.” The others laugh of what she said while Kamaki had no idea what was so funny.

When Mac has stop laughing. “Now I’m going to banish this card,” He placed it in the graveyard. “now I can summon two level 4 monster with same name from my deck.” He pick it up and found the cards he needed. “I summon two Attorix." Two female cat’s with armor, a shield and a qword appered. “And now I’m going to activate the spell card Gladiator Beast’s comeback, now I can summon a Gladiator Beast from my graveyard with a different type then my two Andal, I summon Augustus.” The bird came back and Kamaki became a little worried, Mac was better than she thought. “I now shuffle the three gladiator beast back into my deck,” He did that. “which let me summon Gladiator Beast Andabata from my extra deck in defense.” Mac took out the card from his pocket and placed it on the dule disk, a weird looking alien with armor, sword and shield appeared. “and since I summon Andabata this way, I am now allowed to summon another Gladiator beast from my extra deck as long as it’s level 7 or lower, I Summon out Gladiator Beast Gyzarus." Out came a green bird in armor. “Since I summon Gyzarus this way I can now destroy two card on the field, I destroy Sagitta and Wiz.” Kamaki had to removed them. “Gyzarus, attack Kamaki’s Lavalval Ignis.” Gyzarus took flight and destroyed Lavalval Ignis.

Kamaki: 4400

“I can now return Gyzarus back to my extra deck," He did that. “which let me summon two Gladiator beast monster from my deck, I chose Andal and Laquari.” Both monster appeared. “Since I special summoned Laquari, it’s attack points becomes 2100.” It happened. “I end my turn.”

Kamaki was very impressed that Mac was doing so well, she was impressed by all off them. Kamaki look at her hand and she was in trouble, none of her monster had enough attack power. She drew her card and hope it was a monster card, it was Terraforming, she didn’t even know that this deck had a field spell. “I active the spell card Terraforming, this card let me add a field spell from my deck to my hand.” She played it and started to look for the card, she found it. “I now active the field spell Fandore, the Flying Furtress." A new slot open and Kamaki placed the card there and then the entire barn started to change.

The entire barn disappeared and was replaced with clouds, there was also airships around them. The three ponies and dragon as awestruck by it all, they had never seen anything like it before, Applejack had but it was still breathtaking.

Apple Bloom was lost for words. “What…? Wh… wh… what happened to out barn?” She then jump of the haystack, she landed on clouds. “Are we flying?” It was good question.

Kamaki just laugh of what she said. “No, we are not flying. This isn’t real, if this was real then you wouldn’t have managed to stand on the clouds. Don’t worry, it will disappeared when the duel is over.” Apple Bloom managed to calm down, she believe what Kamaki said.

Back to the duel. “And now I’m going to active the spell card Rookie fur hire, this card let me special summon a fur hire from my deck who is 1 level higher or lower than the monster I have out, since Sagitta is level 5,” She send the card to the graveyard. “I can now summon Dyna, Hero fur hire." A monster that look like lion appeared. “I now active it ability, since I special summon I can now banish cards from your graveyard up to the number fur hire monster I control, except Dyna. I have one so that means you have to banish a card.” Mac took out Test tiger. “Now Dyna, attack Laquari.” Mac’s monster was destroyed. “I end my turn by summoning Seal, Strategist fur hire in defense mode.” A new monster appeared.

Mac: 2400

Mac needed a good card so he drew and it was Monster reborn. “I active the spell card monster reborn which lets me special summon a monster from my graveyard, I chose Augustus.” The bird came back. “I can now summon another gladiator beast from my hand, I summoned Andal.” The bear appeared. “Augustus, attack Dyna.” Augustus flew and swung its sword, Dyna was destroyed.

Kamaki: 4300

“Andal, attack Seal.” The bear attack and the monster was gone. “I end my turn.”

Then it was Kamaki’s turn. “I active one of Fandora, the flying furtress ability, I can skip my draw face which let me ad a Fur hire monster from my deck to hand. I chose Rafale, Champion fur hire." She placed the card in her hand. “And now I active the spell card Mayhen fur hire, this card let me summon a monster from my graveyard in defense mode, I chose Beat.” The monster with sword appeared again. “Now I can summon a fur hire from my hand, I summon Rafale.” Some kind of dragon with a sword appeared. “Since I summon Rafale this way, I can now excavate the tops cards in my deck, equal to the number of fur hire I have on the field except Rafale, I have one.” She picked the the card and it was There can be only one. “I now have to show you the card.” She did and Mac saw the card. “I place the card in my hand.” She did that. “Now, Rafale attack Andal.” Rafale attack and destroyed the bear.

Mac: 1500

Then Mac drew his card and it was Gladiator beast charge, Mac look at his card and he got an idea that he hope was going to work. “I switch Andabat to attack.” He did that. “Andabat, attack Kamaki’s Beat.” The bird attack and destroyed Beat. “Since Andabat attack, I can return it to my extra deck.” He did that. “That let me summon two Gladiator beast from my deck, I chose Vespasius, and Noxious." Two monsters appeared. “I now going to shuffle them back into my deck,” He did that. “this let me summon Gladiator beast Tamer Editor from my extra deck.” A monster with red armor and a spear appeared. “I activated Tamer Editor ability which let me summon another Gladiator beast from my extra deck, I summon Gladiator beast Domitianus." A purple lizard with armor appeared. “Domitianus, attack Rafale.” Rafale was destroyed.

Kamaki: 3600

“I set one card face down and end my turn.”

Kamaki was in trouble and she needed a monster. “I active one of…”

Mac cut her off. “I active the trap Gladiator beast charge.” The card flip open. “this card let me destroy fac up cards on the field, up to the number of Gladiator beast monster I control, I have three which means I can destroy three of your card but you only have two.” Kamaki didn’t like this. “I destroy Wiz and your field spell.” Kamaki send both to the graveyard.

Kamaki had only one card left and that couldn’t help her. “I end my turn.” She had lost.

After Kamaki had lost her least life point, the barn return back normal there was pony who watch in wonder as it happened was Apple Bloom. “So, it was all an illusion?” She asked as Fandore disappeared.

“You can say that.” Said kamaki as she placed her duel disk back in her backpack, she then look over at Mac who had removed his. “So, are you interested?” She asked him.

Mac had to think for a second. “Yes, I had fun and I would like to help introduces duel monsters to Equestria.”

Kamaki was happy when she heard that. “Great, I just need the duel disk back.” He gave it back.

Then spike spoke up. “Now that we know that Mac is going to participate, I have a question to Kamaki.” He got of the hay ball. “Why didn’t you drew a card at the end? Mac just destroyed your field spell, why didn’t you draw like normal?” That was a good question.

“Because it didn’t matter, no matter what card I drew I would have lost. If I drew a monster card Mac would have destroyed it and attack me directly, if I had gotten a spell card which let me summon a monster, well, you know what happened. The barn was silence before Apple Bloom spoke. “So, it’s a luck of the draw?”

Kamaki shrugged her shoulders. “Pretty much. Now, can one of you please help me with Skittle? I need to get home and she preventing to do so.”

Everyone was confused, not Mac. “What’s a Skittle?” Spike asked.

Mac decided to explain. “She means Rainbow Dash, apparently she guarding where Kamaki came from and I have to ask, where did you come from? You’re not from Equestria, that’s for sure.”

“I guess I can explain, I come from planet earth and I arrived her by a portal that is in the forest not far from here.”

The three ponies and dragons eyes widen. “You came from the Everfree forest, are you mad?” Exclaimed Applejack. “The Everfree is the most dangerous place in Equestria, wild animals that can kill you live there.”

Kamaki didn’t understand why they were so afraid. “For good sake, it’s just a forest and besides, I didn’t choose where the portal appeared.” She rubbed her head. “Look, I’m tired and I want to go home to my own world and go to bed, can one of you help me with this Rainbow Dash?”

Now they felt bad for Kamaki, no one deserved an egotistic Rainbow Dash after you. “Why don’t you two head on back to the house while me and Mac help out Kamaki with Dash.” Applejack told her sister and Spike. They didn’t argue while they walk out, Spike told Mac that he wanted to duel him later, Mac accepted.

Once Kamaki and the two ponies arrived where Kamaki came from, they actually saw Rainbow Dash there, she was walking back and forward and she was angry. “Unbelievable.” Said Applejack when she saw her friend.

“I can’t wait to get my hands on that freak.” Dash mumbled to herself as she walk back and forth. “She humiliate me and the princess and she didn’t even care, I’m going to teach her a lesson.” Dash then happened to look in the direction of the farm and she saw Kamaki walking towards her, she didn’t notice AJ or Mac.” Finally.” She then knack her knuckles. The sibling saw that Dash was about to do something stupid so they stood between them, blocking Dash. “What…? What are you two doing?” She asked them.

“We are preventing you for doing something stupid, I can see that you want to hurt Kamaki and we won’t let that happened.” AJ told her friend.

Dash just look dumbstruck. “Stopping me for doing something stupid?” She then pointed at Kamaki. “What about her? She humiliated princess Celestia in card game earlier today, I’m just defending her honor.”

This time it was AJ and her brother to be dumbstruck, even Kamaki was speechless. “Are you listing to yourself Dash? Defending princess Celestia’s honor? I don’t think you need to defend her honor, I also think your taking this elements of loyalty a little to far.” AJ told her friend.

Dash didn’t listen. “So what? This monkey humiliated princess Celestia.” AJ and Mac was lost for words, again.

Kamaki on the other hand, had enough of Skittles. “If you are going to insult me, call me an ape.” That didn’t help, Dash was still mad. “Also, why don’t we settle this with duel tomorrow?”

AJ and Mac look at the human as she had gone mad while Dash was just surprised by what Kamaki said. “You want to duel me?”

Kamaki smiled. “That’s right, if you want to ‘defend’ her honor, do it in a duel. But,” She walk over to Dash. “if I win then you are going to stop following me, which you have done ALL day and it’s getting on my nerve.”

Dash like what she was saying, so far. “And if I win?”

Kamaki had to hold back her laughter. “IF you win, you can be in the tournament that are going to introduce duel monster into this world.” She held out her hand. “Deal?”

Dash wasn’t sure if she wanted to do it, she could easily beat this human in a duel but was it the right way to defend princess Celestia? Dash thought it over and it was. “You got yourself a duel.” Dash then spit in her hand and was about to handshake Kamaki, but the human pulled her hand away.

“Seriously? Do you spit in your hand? Do you do that to each other’s around here or it just you? There is no way I’m going to shake hands with you now, just meet at the fountain tomorrow.”

Dash just snorted. “Fine.” She then took off faster than they could blink.

They just started at the spot where Dash took off from. “Skittle is full of herself.” Said Kamaki.

Applejack let out a sighed. “You have no idea.” Mac just nodded in agreement. “Are you going to be okay? It’s usually not safe in forest at night.” Applejack asked Kamaki.

“Yeah, if I hurry I should be fine.” She then started to walk to the forest. “See you all tomorrow.” She waved at them as she disappeared in to the forest, the sibling waved back.

Once Kamaki arrived at X, she activated the portal. “Time to go home.” She entered the portal, little did she know that a pair of eyes was watching her the whole time.

Once Kamaki step out of the portal, it shut down and she saw that most of the staff had gone home. Pegasus was still there and he smiled when he saw Kamaki.

“Kamaki, my dear. How did it go after I talk with the princesses?” He asked her.

“One can say that it went well, I managed to give out three decks, I gave them two ponies and a dragon.” Kamaki answered him.

Pegasus wasn’t sure if he heard right. “I’m sorry, did you say dragon?”

Kamaki nodded her head. “Yes, they have a dragon in Ponyville named Spike. I’m pretty sure he’s the only one.”

Pegasus believe her. “If you say so. I’m happy that you managed to give away three more decks, how long do you think before you finds four more?” He asked Kamaki.

Kamaki had to think for a moment. “If I’m lucky, two maybe three days. To be honest, I’m just guessing here.” She then let out a yawn. “Look, I’m tired, I have duel four times today and it have worn me out. I’m heading back to the hotel.” She said good bye to Pegasus and headed to the hotel.

Once Kamaki found her bed, she fell asleep. The next morning, after a shower and breakfast, Kamaki got dress. She decided to wear a blue skirt with a blue shirt.

Once Kamaki arrived at the lab, she could see Pegasus there looking at some paper, probably science. “Kamaki, your here.” He placed the paper down on a table when he saw her. “are you ready for another trip to Equestria?” He asked her with a smile on his face.

Kamaki just shrugged her shoulders. “As ready I can be.”

Pegasus just keep smiling. “Excellence, I was hoping you could find out what kind of currency they you, I was also hoping you could fine an old store we could use in Ponyville.”

Kamaki nodded. “Sure, I can look for an old store but what kind of money their using are going to be a little difficult, I can’t just ask for money.”

“I’m sure you will think about something. Now, of you.” He walk over to some scientist, Kamaki just rolled her eyes, she activate the portal and walked through it.

Once the human step out of the portal, she was meet by the dark sight of the Everfree forest. “Man, I wish they could have found another place for this portal, this forest creeps me out.” She said to herself.

Kamaki was about to go when… “This forest isn’t that bad,” This new voice scared the crap out of Kamaki. “once you get used to it.”

Kamaki look in the direction of the voice and boy was she surprised by what she saw, a zebra walking on two legs. This ‘zebra’ had a mohawk and she was wearing a cloak so Kamaki couldn’t see the rest of her body but she was female.

“Who the hell are you and do normally sneak up on people like that?”

The zebra had a normal face, then she smile. “I apologize, I heard some rumors in town about a creature from another world and that she came from the Evefree, so I had to see who it was.” She then bowed. “My name is Zecora and I live here.”

Kamaki raised an eyebrow of what Zecora. “You live in this forest?” Zecora stood up and nodded. “I heard that it’s a dangerous place so why live here?” She asked the zebra.

To Kamaki surprised, she smiled. “You have a good point, it is dangerous to live here but the plant life here is good for making medicine.”

That made sense. “If you say so, if you will excuse me, I have somewhere to be.” Kamaki started to walk.

Before Kamaki headed to the town, she stop by Applejack’s farm to see how Spike and Mac was doing with their decks. Both of them had managed to get the hang of playing and they have been playing against other since, both had won and lost matches. Then Kamaki told them that they could challenge Roseluck when they had the time, since she had cards to, they would.

Once Kamaki left the farm, she saw Celestia walking towards here with some guards. The princess asked her how she was doing and the human said she was doing fine. Then Kamaki told the princess that she was about to challenge Dash and she also told Celestia what Dash’s problem was, the princess of the sun was not please when she heard what Dash had been doing. The last thing she need was someone to defend her honor, she could do that herself. Celestia wanted to have a talk with Dash but Kamaki told her to wait after the duel, she wanted to teach Dash a lesson first and Celestia like that idea, she would hang back and let Kamaki duel her first and she would have a talk with Dash afterwards.

Kamaki arrived at the town square where she was going to have her duel with Rainbow dash and sitting on a bench by the fountain, was the blue pegasus. “I’m surprised that you showed up.” Kamaki said the Dash as she approached her.

“And why’s that?” Dash asked with some annoyance.

Kamaki shrugged her shoulders. “No reason. Now,” She took out a duel disk and gave it to Dash. “let’s duel so I can go back to more important matter.” They got ready. “The deck are already in the duel disk.” Dash saw that Kamaki was right. Kamaki placed the backpack on ground and took out a deck from her jacket and placed it in the duel disk. “Let’s duel.”

Kamaki: 4000

Dash: 4000

“I’ll go first.” Kamaki drew her card and smiled when she saw her cards, it was just what she wanted. “I’m going to summon out Apple Magician girl in attack mode.” Out came a human with pink wings that look like a wizard? “I end my turn.”

Ponies around saw what Kamaki did and knew it was a duel, so they decided to watch. Other ponies had no idea what was going on, so those who had watch before explain it to the others.

Then Dash drew her card and she saw cards that look like cats? “What the hay have she given me?” She saw also that she had some spell and trap cards. “I don’t need does to win.” She then threw them on the ground and Kamaki saw that, it pissed her off. “I’m going to summon Lunaligh Blue cat in attack mode.” A blue cat on two legs appeared. “Now, attack Kamaki’s monster.” The cat dashed towards Apple Magician girl.

Kamaki was ready. “I activate Apple Magician girl ability, when she is target for an attack I am allowed to special summon one level 5 or lower spellcaster from my hand, I summon Gemni elf." Two female humans with pointy ears appeared. “Now Gemini elf becomes the target and your monster attack points get cut in half.” Lunalight blue cat attack point became 800 and the monster was destroyed.

Dash: 2900

Dash was angry, Kamaki made a fool out of her. “I end my turn.”

“I draw.” It was Dark Magician Girl and that made her smile. “I now summon out Chocolate Magician girl in attack mode.” Out came another female human with wings, she also look like a wizard. “I now send a spellcaster monster to the graveyard,” She did that. “now I can draw one card. And then I end my turn.”

Dash didn’t expect to hear that, she thought that she would attack, her mistake. “I draw and I summon out Lunalight Crimson fox in attack mode.” A female fox appeared. Who should Dash attack? She could attack Apple Magician girl but then the ability would activate, she couldn’t attack Gemini elf, which means she could only attack Chocolate magician girl. “I attack your Chocolate magician girl.” Dash monster attack.

Kamaki just smiled. “I activate Chocolate magician girl ability, when she is attack I’m allowed to special summon a spellcaster monster from my graveyard.” She took the card. “Let me introduce you all the star of my deck, Dark Magician Girl.” Out came a female wizard in a very cute outfit, most of the ponies that was watch thought she was cute. “Now she becomes the target and your monster attack points are cut in half.” Lunalight Crimson fox attack pints became 900 and Dark Magician girl destroyed it.

Dash: 1800

Dash couldn’t believe it, Kamaki won so easily. “You know Rainbow Dash, I usually don’t duel while angry, but that all change when you drop those card on the ground.” She exclaimed which made Dash back away. “I summon out Lemon Magician girl." A new female wizard appeared. “And now I active the spell polymerization which let me fusion the five spellcaster I have out, I fusion summon one of my best monsters, my Quintet Magician." A brand new female monster appeared which made Dash shiver, it had 4500 attack point. “Time to end this, Quintet Magician, attack Rainbow Dash directly.” Quintet Magician fired a beam from its staff which hit the blue pegasus, she lost.

Dash fell on her knees, she couldn’t believe she lost. “That was just pathetic.” Dash saw that Kamaki was walking towards. “You actually thought you would won?” She stop right in front of her. “You threw some cards on the ground, for what? You didn’t need them?” She picked them up and look at them. “If you had used Luna light perfume you might have a change but you threw it on the ground, hand over the cards and the duel disk because there is no way in hell you are going to dule in the tournament.”

Dash had enough, she got up and grabbed Kamaki by her sweater and lifted her up. “I had enough of you, ever since you arrived here you have been so high and mighty, that ends now.” Dash was about to punch the human, but then…

“That’s enough. Guards, restraint Rainbow Dash.” Two guards grabbed Dash and got her of Kamaki.

Dash tried to break free, it didn’t work. “Let me go.” She said while struggling.

“Rainbow Dash.” The blue pegasus froze when she saw Celestia walking towards her and she was furious. “What in tartarus are you doing to Kamaki? Were you about to hit her because your jealous or is because I lost against Kamaki yesterday?” Dash said nothing, she just look away which means yes to both. “Unbelievable.” Celestia had to take a few breath to calm herself down. “I know you’re the element of loyalty but I don’t need you to protect me, it was a card game and I lost fair and square.” She then was right in Dash face. “Which means you are going to stop being a child and let it go, do I make myself clear?” Dash nodded. “Good.” She moved away. “Now, give Kamaki back the cards and duel disk and then you are going to apologize.” The two guards let of Dash.

Dash look between the human and the princess, Celestia was pissed of while Kamaki look like she didn’t care at all. “I’m sorry.” Dash felt like crap that she had to apologize to someone she didn’t like, she also gave back the duel dusk and the cards.

Celestia was satisfied. “Good, now leave.” Dash didn’t hesitated at all as she took to the sky and flew away, Celestia then look at the crowed who just wonder what just happened. “The show is over, go back to your business.” The ponies didn’t heisted at all. Once they were gone Celestia let out a relieved sighed. “Unbelievable, I knew that Dash had a big ego but come on, I don’t need anyone help.” She look over at Kamaki who was busy with the cards. “Did she damage the deck? She asked the human.

Kamaki shook her head. “No, some of them are a little dirty considering she threw some of the ground. Other then that they are fine.”

Celestia was relieved to hear that. “That’s good to know, I wouldn’t like to hear some of the ponies here destroyed them.” She then rubbed her head. “I just came here to talk with Twilight, I didn’t think I had to deal with Rainbow Dash to.” Kamaki didn’t care, it wasn’t here problem. “Anyway, I have something for you.” Celestia look at one of her guards who brought her a small bag, he gave it to the princess. “I thought you want some money while you are in Equestria, so you can by something.”

Kamaki didn’t expect that, her plan was to ask someone around town for money that she could bring back to Pegasus. “Thanks.” Kamaki open the bag and boy was she surprised when she saw what was in it, gold. She picked one up and it was a golden coin with a picture of a pony on both side. “Is this gold?” She asked Celestia.

The sun princess nodded her head. “Yes, it’s what we use for money in Equestria, they are called bits.” Kamaki couldn’t believe it, she never thought they would have gold. “If you will excuse me, I have to go and talk to my student.” Celestia and her guards headed to the library leaving Kamaki alone who was still looking at the coin.

Kamaki eventually put away the money, she had to find some more duelist.

Twilight was currently sitting on the couch in the library and she was very nervous, she was so nervous that she wanted to crap herself, she hope she could keep it together. Sitting beside her was princess Celestia, she was currently drink some tea that Twilight had made for her.

Twilight had no idea why the princess had visit her, she just enter the door, asked Twilight to make some tea and they have been sitting on the couch ever since. All kind of thought went through her mind, did she mess up a friendship report? Was she punished for something that she did in the past? She had no idea and it’s driving her crazy.

Celestia placed her cup down on the table. “So,” The princess voice scared Twilight, she didn’t expect her to talk. “do you know why I am here Twilight?” The unicorn shook her head. Celestia wasn’t surprised. “As I thought.” Celestia got up and walk in front of the table and she was now facing Twilight. “Yesterday I got a letter from Spike that you have been treating him poorly for a while now. You have made him do stuff that he not supposed to do, make food for you, clean the library and by grocery.” Celestia look directly at her student. “What do you have to say in your defense?”

Twilight swallowed a big lump she had in her throat. “Isn’t that what an assistant is supposed to do?” She hope that was answer Celestia wanted.

Celestia just look at her student with her normal look. “I see.” She then closed her eyes for a minute, she then open them and she was not happy. “What wrong with you?” The outburst made Twilight crap her pants. “You can’t just use Spike like this, he is supposed to be your assistant not your personal servant. You are supposed to make your own food, clean the library once in the while and buy your own grocery.” Celestia had to calm herself down a little. “When I gave you Spike’s egg I thought you could take care of him, but that didn’t happened, he have taken care of you all this years and you have done nothing to him. I see now that I should never have given him to you in the first place.” Twilight heart shattered when she heard that, she never thought she would hear princess Celestia say that. “Until you have realized that you have been using Spike, I don’t want you anywhere near him. Do I make myself clear?” Twilight nodded her head like crazy. “Good.” She said nothing more as she walk out the door.

Twilight ears fell because she was ashamed, Celestia was right. The unicorn had threated Spike like a servant, not as an assistant. That was going to change, Twilight decided that she going to do tasks around the library herself and everything ells she made Spike do. She was going to earn Spike’s trust back.

Once the other side of town was Carousel Boutiqe, home/workplace to Rarity Bell. The white unicorn was sitting by her sewing machine, she was trying to create her next dress but she was running out of ideas. “This is no good.” She threw the dress on the floor. “I need a break.” She told herself while rubbing her eyes. “Maybe a walk while give me some inspiration.” She thought it was a good idea so she decided to walk around town.

It didn’t work. Rarity had been walking for teen minutes and it hadn’t help and it was frustrating, all she wanted to have some inspiration, but right now Rarity just wanted to scream. “Hey Rarity, how’s it going?” That voice brought Rarity back to the real world, she saw Roseluck with some bag in her hands.

“Hey Rose, I’m not doing great, I haven’t managed to create a dress in days and it’s driving me crazy.” She placed both hands on her face. “I don’t know what to do.” Rarity then notice how happy Roseluck was. “You look more happier than the last time I saw you, why is that?” That was blunt.

“I was down but then I had a talk and a duel with that human, Kamaki. She managed to life my spirit and I’m happy she did that. I was ready to leave Ponyville.” That news shock Rarity, she didn’t knew that.

“You wanted to leave Ponyville, why?” Rarity asked Roseluck.

Roseluck look became somber. “I wanted to move because ponies didn’t want to buy my roses anymore.” Rarity gave er a confused look. “I know, it sounds stupide but after my duel with Kamaki I felt better and I decided to stay.” She said with a smile on her face.

Rarity was astounded, if a duel can change Roseluck mood like that, maybe she could try and duel. “Say, do you know where Kamaki is?” Rarity asked.

Roseluck didn’t except to hear that question. “Wait, you want to duel?” Rarity nodded her head. “Have you heard about the tournament?” Rose asked her.

The white unicorn knew. “Yes, I have heard about the tournament, I think the whole town has. Would please answer my question, have you seen Kamaki?” Rarity wasn’t entirely sure why Roseluck mention the tournament but something told her she would find out.

“Yeah, I have seen her. She was looking at some abandoned shops on the other side of town, let me just put away groceries and I can led you to her.” She headed for her home and Rarity followed her. Both mares was glad that Roseluck’s home wasn’t that far from where they meet.

Meanwhile on the other side of town was a human and she was looking for a shop that Pegasus could use to sell cards, but it wasn’t easy. Most of the shops was taken by ponies, she could see candy shop, grocery, but the one she was most puzzle over was quill and sofas? Does that even work? It had to considering Kamaki could see ponies inside and they were buying quill and sofa. She didn’t understand this world at all.

Kamaki managed eventually to find a building that was empty, when she look through the window she could see shelf that they used on shops back at her home, this shop could do. Kamaki walk over to the door to see if it was open, she turned the handle and to her shock, it was open. There was one question, if she walk in would she commit a crime? The door was already open so technically no? She couldn’t break the law when the door was open, could she? Kamaki had no idea how the law worked in Equestria so she took a change, she walk in.

Once inside Kamaki could see shelves where they could place card packs and they had a desk where they could place cash register. “This place could work.” She told herself as she took out her phone so she could take pictures to show Pegasus.

While Kamaki was busy with taking picture, she didn’t know that two mares walking towards the shop.

“Are you sure you saw her around here Roseluck?” Rarity asked the earth pony.

“For the last time Rarity, yes, I saw her walking in this direction.” Roseluck answered with annoyance in her voice. “I would think after all these years that you would trust me, I have known you longer than you other friends. We went to school together.” Said Roseluck with some sadness in her voice.

Now Rarity felt bad, she had known Roseluck since they were children and she was right, she knew her and she never lied. “You are right Roseluck and I am sorry, if you are saying you say kamaki here, then you saw her here.” Rose was glad that Rarity finally believed her.

Then all off sudden Roseluck stop. “Rarity, look.” The unicorn saw that Rose was pointing at something. “The door to the old comic store is open.” She was right, it was open. “Maybe Kamaki is there.” That was possible, so they decided to find out.

Once Roseluce and Rarity arrived they could see flashes from the store, they look through the window and saw that it was Kamaki, it look like she was taking pictures with a black device. The two mares gave each other a confusing look, they had no idea what the human was doing. They decided to ask her.

“I can see that you found the old comic store.” Said Roseluck as she walk inn, Rarity followed her.

Kamamki stop taking pictures. “If you two are going to accuse me for breaking into this store, the door was already open.” She put away her phone. “Is there something I can help you two with?” She asked them.

“Yes.” Roseluck put an arm around her friend. “Rarity want to join the tournament.”

Kamaki raised an eyebrow when she heard that while Rarity’s eyes widen. “I didn’t say that, I said I want to duel because you said it would lift my spirt.”

Roseluck blink a few time. “Right, I kind of forgot.” She said with a blush on her face.

Kamaki wasn’t entire sure how to react to this. “You are more than welcome to duel Rarity and why don’t you decide after the duel if you want to be in the tournament, I am looking for ponies to be in it.”

Rarity could do that. “I could do that, should I duel you?”

Before Kamaki could answer. “Duel me.” Said Rose as she raised her hand.

The human and unicorn look at the earth pony. “You want to duel me? You have already duel Kamaki, that gives you an advantage.” Said Rarity as she step away from Roseluck.

“No it doesn’t, I duel Kamaki one time and made some mistake. I’m just a newbie as you when it comes to this card game.” Rarity had to admit it that Roseluck had a point, they were both newbies to the card game. “And we could borrow the duel disk from Kamaki.”

The human shrugged her shoulders. “Fine by me.” All three were in agreed and they decided to have the duel in the park.

Once in the park the ponies there couldn’t help but wonder what was going on, but then they saw the human taking out the two duel disk from her backpack, they decided to watch. Kamaki then gave some card to Rarity which was called Gem knight, Rarity couldn’t help but think how beautiful they were. Rarity took a few minutes to look at the cards and the rulebook.

Both mares had their duel disk on and they face each other, then Kamaki went to the middle. “Alright, I will flip a coin to see who goes first.” She took out one and flip it. “Call it.” She was just glad the coin was like a normal one in her world.

Rarity. “Heads.”

Kamaki caught it. “Tails, Roseluck is first up.” Was that a bad or good thing? Rarity didn’t know, but Roseluck smiled? Kamaki went back to the side line to watch

“I draw.” Her cards was; Blue rose dragon, Roxrose dragon, Botanical girl, Frozen rose, Thorn of malice and Wall of thorns, she knew which cards she should play. “Okay, first I’m going to set one card face down.” She did that and a card appeared but Rarity couldn’t see which card it was. “then I’m going to summon out Roxrose dragon in defense mode.” A small dragon appeared. “When this card is normal summon, I’m allowed to add a monster card that is specifically listed as ‘Black rose dragon’ in its text from my deck to my hand, except Roxrose dragon.” She picked up her deck and look through it. “I chose White rose dragon.” She placed the deck back and it shuffled. “Since I have a dragon tuner out I can summon With rose dragon from my hand.” She did that “Now I’m going to tune my level 3 Roxrose dragon with my level 4 White rose dragon to synchro summon Black Rose Dragon." When Roseluck placed the card on the duel disk a giant dragon plant monster appeared. “I end my turn.”

Kamaki was now impressed, Roseluck didn’t managed to do that when they duel.

Then it was Rarity’s turn and she drew her card, she had; Gem Knight Alexandrite, Tourmaline, Gem Armadillo, Mystical soace typhoon, Brilliant spark, and Call of the haunted, she knew what to do. “First, I’m going to place two card face down.” She placed her two trap cards. “Then I’m going to activate Mystical space typhoon, this spell card let me destroy one spell/trap card on the field, I’m going to destroy the one you have out.” A typhoon appeared from the card and destroyed Roseluck’s Wall of thorns, she wasn’t to happy by that. “Now I’m going to summon out Gem Knight Alexandrite.” A new monster came out. “Now I’m going to tribute this card which let me special summon a Gem knight from my deck,” She send Alexandrite to the graveyard, she then look for the card she wanted. “I special summon Gem knight Crystal." A new monster that had 50 more attack points then Black Rose appeared. “Gem knight Crystal, attack Black rose dragon.” The knight attack and destroyed Rose’s monster.

Roseluck: 3950

“I end my turn.”

“Since you destroyed my Black rose dragon, I can now add Roxrose dragon from the graveyard to my hand.” Roseluck did that, she then drew her card and it was Fragrance storm, she didn’t want to use this card, not yet. “I’m going to summon out Roxrose dragon.” The same monster appeared. “I’m going to active it’s effect, which let me add a monster card from my deck to my hand, I chose another White rose dragon.” It appeared. “And now I’m going to tune my level 3 Roxrose dragon with my level 4 White rose dragon to synchro summon Black Rose Moonlight dragon." A new dragon appeared and this was different then the last one. “Since I synchro summon Moonlight dragon, I can now return a monster you special summon back to your hand, which is your Gem knight Crystal.” Rarity took the card back to her hand. “Moonlight dragon, attack Rarity directly.” Moonlight dragon did that and Rarity lost some life points.

Rarity: 1600

Then a female pony that was watch, decided to ask Kamaki something. “Um, excuse me human.” At least it wasn’t monkey. “Was Roseluck allowed to do that?” Kamaki liked that they asked question.

“Unfortunately for Rarity, yes, Roseluck was allowed to do that. If it was a lower level monster then she wasn’t allowed to do it.” The female wasn’t entirely sure if she understood it all. “Don’t worry, when the cards are up for sale all ponies will get a book with the rules.” They like that.

Then it was Rarity’s turn and she drew, it was Gem knight fusion, she could use this. “First, I’m going to summon Gem Armadillo.” An orange armadillo appeared. “When I normal summon Gem Armadillo, I can add a Gem knight from my deck to my hand, I chose Gem knight Garnet. I know active the spell card Gem knight fusion, this let me fusion summon a gem knight from my extra deck by using monster from my field or hand, I use my Tourmaline and Garnet to fusion summon Gem knight Ruby." A red knight appeared. “I now active Ruby’s ability, I tribute Gem Armadillo and Ruby now gets it’s attack point until my end face.” Ruby’s attack was now 4200. “Gem knight Ruby, attack Moonlight dragon.” It did and the dragon was destroyed.

Roseluck: 2150

Rarity wasn’t done. “I now activate my trap card, call of the hunted.” Card appeared that look like a graveyard. “I can now bring a monster back from the graveyard, I special summon Gem knight Garnet.” The monster came back. “Garnet, attack Roseluck directly.” It did.

Roseluck: 250

Roseluck was in trouble. “Since you destroyed Black Rose Moonlight dragon, I can now add Roxrose dragon from my graveyard to my hand.” She did that, she then drew her card and it was Witch of the black rose. “I summon Witch of the black rose, since I normal summon this card I can now draw a card.” She drew. “I drew Rose fairy and since I drew this card by a card effect, I can now summon it to the field.” She did that. “I now tune my level 4 Witch of the black rose with my Rose fairy to synchro summon another Black rose dragon.” The dragon came back. “I active Black rose dragon ability, since I synchro summon it I can now destroy all cards on the field." All cards on the field was destroyed and then she realized she had made a mistake. “Crap, I’m open to an attack.” She mumbled to herself. “I end my turn.”

If Rarity drew a monster card, she could win. She drew her card and it was Lapis, just what she wanted. “I summon out Gem knight Lapis.” A new monster appeared. “Now, Lapis, attack Roseluck directly and end this duel.” The monster attack and the earth pony lost.

After the duel was done, the ponies that was watching went back to their own business, Kamaki got back the dule disk and then she asked the question to Rarity.

“So, did you have fun?”

Rarity look down at her cards and smiled. “Yes, I had fun and I now have many new ideas to make dresses.”

Kamaki wasn’t entire sure how to respond to that. “Your welcome? But, if you want to keep the cards you kind of have to be in the tournament.”

Rarity look at human. “Yes, I will join.”

Kamaki smiled when she heard that. “Great, it will be held in a few days, you will probably read about it in the paper soon.” She then look over at Roseluck. "So, you deicded to destroy every card you and Rarity had?" She said with a smirk on her face.

Rose just gave her a annoyed look. "I panick, alright?" Kamaki just giggled which made Roseluck to roll her eyes. “Yes, I panick." She then look at Rarity. "I want to know what card I destroyed, the one you didn’t get to play.” She asked Rarity.

“It was brilliant spark.” The unicorn answered.

“What does it do?” The earth pony asked.

“If you had destroyed one of Rarity’s monster, brilliant spark would have dealt you damage equal to it attack points. Rarity could also have retrieved it from the graveyard by sending a Gem monster to the graveyard.” Kamaki explained to Roseluck.

“Wow, I could have lost if didn’t summon Black rose dragon.” Said Rose with some concern in her voice.

Kamaki nodded her head. “That you could. Well, I have to go, if you two want to duel more you can find Spike and Mac, both of them have cards, so just challenge them.”

Both mares was shocked to hear what the human said. “Wait a minute, did you just say that Mac and Spike are going to duel?” Roseluck asked the human who nodded her head. “How did that happened?” The both wanted to know.

“Well, Spike felt left out when Twilight and the rest of her friends meet me yesterday.” Rarity was shocked to hear that. She didn’t know that Spike felt left out. “So I duel him and he wanted to join, just like Rarity. When it comes to Mac, he just want to have some excitement in his life.” Said Kamaki while placing the backpack on her back.

Rose raised an eyebrow of what she said. “That’s it? He just wanted some excitement in his life?”

Kamaki just shrugged her shoulders. “Sometime once life can be boring. Anyway, play them, get more experience ang get to know your cards better. The whole thing will probably be in four days and try not be afraid if Celestia wants to play, she just another duelist.” She then started to walk. “See you two around.”

The two mares just watch as the human walk away. “She is so strange.” Said Rarity and Rose just nodded in agreement. Little did they know a figure in cloak was watching them, the figure then walk after Kamaki.

In the meantime at the local school, three friends was sitting under a tree, talking. They were Apple Bloom, Sweetie Bell and Scootaloo, also known as the Cutie mark crusaders.

“I’m telling you, I heard an ape humiliated Rainbow Dash this morning in a card game.” Scootaloo said to her friends.

The unicorn Sweetie Belle just rolled her eyes. “I wish you would stop talking about Rainbow Dash, it’s getting tiring.” Scootaloo gave her friend an annoying look.

The pegasus look over to her other friend. “What do you think about this ape Apple Bloom?” The earth pony was just looking another way. “Hey, are you even listing?” Scootaloo asked while nudging her friend.

Apple Bloom blink a few times. “What? I wasn’t listing, I usually stop listing when you start talking about Rainbow Dash.” She told her friend. Sweetie had to place both hands over her mouth, she had trouble containing her laughter while Scootaloo was just annoyed. “And stop calling Kamaki an ape, she is a human.”

Sweetie and Scootaloo gave each other a confusing look. “Wait, you meet her?” Scootaloo asked her, Apple Bloom nods. “When?”

“Last night, she played a card game she is introducing to Equestria with my brother.” Apple Bloom told her friends who was confused.

“Card game?” Asked Sweetie.

“Yeah, two players get 40 cards and the first one to lose 4000 life points losses.” They were even more confused. “You can see for yourself, the tournament is a few days. Also, the only reason why Kamaki humiliated Rainbow Dash was because she was following her and wanted to beat her up, as least that was I heard from Applejack.” Then the bell rang and the children had to head inside. “Look Scootaloo, if you want to ‘revenge’ Rainbow Dash, go ahead. Just leave me out of it.” Apple Bloom got up and headed inside.

Sweetie Belle got up and followed her friend leaning Scootaloo alone. “You know, you take the fun out of revenge.” She said while following her friends.

One the outskirt of town, near the river. Kamaki had managed to find the spot where she first meet Celestia and Luna, she was now lying under the tree with her arms behind her head.

Then Dark magician girl appeared. “I see you have found a place to relax.”

“Sometime one just want to relax.”

Magician girl then spotted someone walking towards them. “I don’t think this will last for very long.”

Kamaki open her eyes and boy was she confused. “What are you talking…” She then knew what the spirit was talking about. “You got to be kidding me.”

Walking towards them was Zecora and it looked like she was on a mission. “There you are Fugome Kamaki.” She said as she stop in front of her. “I want to play your card game.” Kamaki was taken by surprised when she heard that.

Sure, I’m guessing you want to be in the tournament that will take be in a few days?” Zecora nodded her head. “I have nothing against that.” She got up. “Just one question, how the hell do you know my name? I didn’t tell you when we meet this morning.”

“Applejack told me.” Said Zecora.

Kamaki felt like an idiot. “Right, that makes sense. My I ask why you want to duel?” She asked the zebra.

“I saw your duel with Spike, I also saw Rarity and Roseluck duel and it look like fun, so I wanted to try it myself.”

Kamaki didn’t mind, she took her backpack and took out some cards, Amazoness, she gave them to Zecora with a rule book and the duel disk. After Zecora had read the rule and look at her cards, both got ready.

Kamaki: 4000

Zecora: 4000

Both got ready and then Zecora spoke. “Can I go first?” Kamaki just nodded and she wasn’t too happy about it, she like to go first. Zecora drew her card and look at six she had, thy were; Amazoness Princess, Trainee, Spy, Tiger, Amazoness Call, and Amazoness Willpower. “Okay, I think I will set one card face down.” She placed willpower. “Then I will summon out amazoness princess in atk.” A warrior girl appeared. “Her name becomes amazoness queen, since I normal summoned her I can add a amazoness card from the deck to my hand.” She took the deck and started to look through it. “I chose Amazoness Queen." She placed the card in her hand, placed the deck back. “I end my turn.”

Kamaki was a little surprised that she didn’t summon out Queen, maybe save her for later. “I draw.” Her cards was; Recon, Scout Fur Hire, Bravo, Seal, Ghost orge and snow rabbit, Mayhem fur hire and Training fur hire. “Alright, I am going to set two card face down.” That was her spell and trap cards. “And now I’m going to summon out Bravo, fighter fur hire in attack mode.” A red lizard with knifes on its hands appeared. “Then I’m going to activate it’s affect, I can now summon another fur hire monster from my hand, I chose Seal, strategist fur hire.” A new monster appeared. “Since I special summon Seal while I have Bravo out, all my fur hire monster get 500 atk/def points.” They went up. “Now, Seal, attack her amazoness princess.” The monster was destroyed. “Brave, attack her directly.” The lizard attack with it’s knives.” I end my turn.” Her monsters attack points went back to normal.

Zecora: 1600

“I draw.” It was Quaking mirror force. “I place one card face down, then I’m going to summon out Paladin.” A girl with spear appeared. “Now I’m going to tribute her to summon out Amazoness Queen in attack mode.” She send Paladin to the graveyard and summon out Queen. “Amazoness queen, attack Seal.” She attack with her sword and the monster was destroyed. “I end my turn.”

Kamaki: 3200

Kamaki was impressed. She drew her card and it was Dyna. “I use Bravo’s effect and special summon Dyna from my hand.” A giant lion appeared. “Now both monster get’s an extra 500 atk/def point, I also is going active Dyna’s effect, since I special summon him I can now banish cards from you GY up to the number of fur hire monster I control. Since I have two I can banish two.” Zecora took the only cards she had and removed it. “Now, Dyna attack her Queen.” Dyna leap into action.

“I don’t think so, I active the trap card quaking mirror force, now all your monster change into defense position, face down.” Kamaki did that and she ended her turn.

Zecora drew her card and it was Fusion substitute. “I will reveal one monster card in my hand,” She showed Kamaki Trainee. “this will let me special summon out Amazoness Spy.” She did that. “Now I will activate fusion substitute and fusion Spy and Queen to fusion summon Amazoness Empress in attack mode.” She send the cards to the GY and placed the card on the duel disk and a woman with giant sword appeared. “I will now normal summon Amazoness Tiger in attack mode, Tiger gets 400 attack point for each amazoness monster I control.” Tiger attack went up by 400. “And it will attack your Bravo.” Tiger used it’s claws to destroy Kamaki’s monster. “Empress ability make it so you take damage even when your monsters in defense.” Kamaki monster were destroyed.

Kamaki: 1900

Zecore wasn’t done. “And now Empress will attack your Dyna.” That was also destroyed.

Kamaki was prepare. “Since you destroyed my Dyna, I will activated the trap card Training Fur Hire, Fur all your training needs. This trap card let me special summon out a fur hire from my deck whose level is lover then Dyna, he was level 6.” She look through her deck. “I special summon out Recon, scout fur hire in defense mode.” A cat with a telescope appeared, she placed the deck back.

Zecora. “I end my turn.”

Kamaki drew her card and it was another Seal and she couldn’t help but smile. “First, I’m going to summon Recon, in defense mode.” The same cat appeared. “I will now activated it’s effect, will special summon Seal in attack mode.” The same monster as before appeared. “Since I special summon a Fur hire, Recon ability activates which let me destroy one of your cards, I will destroy your face down.” Zecora removed the card. “and now I will activated my other face down, mayhem fur hire. This card let me special summon a fur hire from my GY, I chose Seal.” The monster appeared. “I will now overlay my two Seal which let me XYZ summon Diamond Dire Wolf." A silver wolf appeared. “I will now activated it’s effect, by removing one overlay unit,” She did that. “I can now destroy a beast monster on my side and one monster on your side, I destroy one of my Recon which let me destroy your Empress.” Both removed their monster and Kamaki used it ability again destroying their last monster. “Diamond Dire Wolf, attack her directly.” Zecora could only watch as the monster attack her.

“And that’s that.” Said kamaki as she walk over to the zebra. “Your not mad that I won?” She asked her.

Zecora just smiled. “No, I had fun and I don’t care that I lost.” She too of the duel disk and handed it back. “you were just better than me.”

Kamaki snorted. “Maybe, this card game depends on which cards you get and what you do with them.”

Zecora raised an eyebrow. “Are you telling me it’s a luck of the draw?” Kamaki nodded. “Unbelievable.” Said the zebra while shaking her head.

Kamaki just chuckled while she placed the duel disk back in the backpack. “That it is.” She placed the backpack on her back. “I suggest you dule the other so you get some experience, other than the three you mention, Mac and Celestia is also going to participate in the tournament.” Kamaki then realized how stupide it sounded. “I don’t know why we call it a tournament, it’s not. We are going to introduce duel monster to Equestria, it’s not a tournament.” She just shocked her head. “Whatever, the whole thing will take place in a three to four days outside Ponyville, you can see it in newspaper.”

Zecora nodded her head. “Got it.” Then the human started to walk. “Where are you going?” Zecora asked her.

“I’m going to see if I can find ponies that want to duel.” She waved her hand as she walk. “I’ll see you around.”

Kamaki search the rest of the day but she didn’t find any ponies that she thought could duel in the tournament, or that anyone wanted to.

“Man, I only found two, this day was a bust.” She said to herself as she walking towards Applejack’s farm. “I hope I have better luck tomorrow.”

As Kamaki could see that farm, she suddenly heard something behind her, it sound like a scooter. “What…?” She turned around and she wasn’t sure what she saw, an orange pegasus with purple hair who was wearing a helmet was racing towards her, she was on a scooter. The pegasus tried to run her over but Kamaki just step aside so she missed, as she passed, Kamaki saw that she was using her wings to power the scooter.

The pegasus did a U-turn and stop, she look angry. “I have finally found you monkey.”

Kamaki wish they could stop calling her that. “Is there something you want?” She had no idea what this ponies problem was.

The pegasus pointed at Kamaki. “You humiliated Rainbow Dash and I’m going to make you regret it.”

Kamaki was even more confused than before. “What…?” The pegasus started to flap her wings and drove towards her, Kamaki just step aside again so the pegasus missed again.

The pegasus look over her shoulder. “Stand still.” By doing so she didn’t notice the rock that was lying in front of her and before Kamaki could say anything, the pegasus hit it and then she flew forward and landed face first on the ground. “Damn it.” She got up and look at Kamaki. “You did that on purpose.” Kamaki had no idea what this pegasus problem was.

Then a new voice spoke up. “Scootaloo.” The pegasus known as Scootaloo froze and she look terrified. “What do you think you’re doing?” Kamaki saw an earth pony walking towards them, she had light pink fur, her mane/tail was a mix of orange and red, she didn’t look happy. “Why are you attacking her?” She asked while helping Scootaloo up.

The young Pegasus pointed at Kamaki. “This monkey humiliated Rainbow Dash and I’m going to teach her a lesson.”

Scootaloo told the earth pony who’s eye started to twitch. “How many times do I have to tell you stop hanging around her? She’s a bad influence on you.” The pony told Scootaloo.

Scootaloo pull her arm away. “Don’t you say that about her, Rainbow Dash is the coolest pony in Equestria and…”

The earth pony cut her off. “That’s enough, I don’t want to hear it. You are grounded for a month.”

Scootaloo eyes widen. “For a month? Why?”

The earth pony gave her a deadpan look. “Did you just ask why? For attacking her.” She said while gesturing to Kamaki. “Now, apologize to her.” Scootaloo just turned her head away, there was no way she was going to do that. The earth pony let out a heavy sighed. “I apologize for my niece, she adore Rainbow Dash very much, something to much.” She said while looking at the pegasus who just rolled her eyes.

Kamaki didn’t care. “Don’t worry about just make sure that your niece stay away from me and we can forget that this ever happened.” She started to walk towards Applejack’s farm.

“Don’t worry about, I’ll make sure she does.” She told Kamaki. “Let’s go home.” Scootaloo’s aunt took the young pegasus scooter in one hand and her ear in the other one. “Let go of my ear aunt Lofty.” Said Scootaloo as she was drag away, her aunt didn’t listen.

As Kamaki reached Applejack’s farm, she could see Applejack sitting on a chair porch. “Howdy Kamaki, how was your day?” The pony asked the human.

“It was great until I was attack by a pegasus by name of Scootaloo.” Kamaki told her as she walk past her, Applejack just gave her a confusing look. “She was defending Rainbow Dash’s honor.” “Now Applejack understood. “Just so you know, most of the ponies in Ponyville are crazy.” She then headed to the forest.

Once Kamaki found the spot where the portal was, she active it and went through. One the other side, Pegasus was waiting for her. “Kamaki, great news. I got word from the president that she want to meet princess Luna tomorrow.” He said with a smile.

Kamaki wasn’t sure if she heard right. “And your telling me this now? Couldn’t you have told me this before I left?” Right now, Kamaki wasn’t too happy.

Pegasus raised his hands up in defense. “Calm down Kamaki, I found out after you had left and I didn’t want to disturb you.”

Kamaki managed to calm down, she then let out a sighed. Was there a way she could give Luna a message? “Give me a moment.” She open up the portal again and disappeared leaving everyone in the room confused.

After 40 minutes, the portal open again and Kamaki step through it. “Alright,” The portal closed. “I managed to send a letter to Luna, by the help of Spike and she will be arriving early tomorrow morning. I will try and get up early myself and wait for her at the entrance to the forest. Also, they will begin building a small stadium tomorrow at the outskirt of the town and they will probably be ready in three days so I suggest you get planning.” She told Pegasus.

“Great, I will inform the president.” Pegasus said with a smile.

“Great.” Said Kamaki in a tired voice. “Before I forget.” Kamaki took out a pouch and took out the money the ponies used. “This what they used as currency in Equestria,” She tossed one of the gold coin to Pegasus, who managed to catch it. “they call it bits.”

Pegasus study the coin. “Is this gold?” He said in disbelief, he wasn’t sure if saw correct.

Kamaki nodded. “As I said, it’s what they use as currency in their world.” Pegasus didn’t listen, he just study the coin which made Kamaki roll her eyes. “Just keep it and try not to drool, I’m heading back to the hotel.” She left.

The next morning.

Sitting on the train from Canterlot to Ponyville was a grey mare with black hair, she was wearing a pair of jeans and a black top, it was none other than Octavia Melody. She was heading home from a concert in Canterlot.

When Octavia arrived at the train station in Canterlot she saw a bunch of ponies with tools and other stuff who was also heading to Ponyville, she had no idea why they were going but she heard some of them talk about a job for princess Celestia. Something big was going to happened but what?

They had arrived at Ponyville train station and when Octavia step off the train, with her cello on her back and a bag in her hand, she could see the same ponies in Canterlot gathering equipment from another part of the train. Then one of them spoke. “Hurry it up, we have three days to get this stands up for the tournament.” Octavia was now curious, just what was this tournament they were talking about. She could ask somepony, when she found one.

Kamaki was waiting by the entrance to the Everfree forest for Luna to arrive, if she could. Kamaki had to get up earlier then she was used to so she could meet Luna and open the portal for her, she was sitting by a tree and had trouble keeping her eyes up.

Then Dark magician girl appeared. “Tired?” She asked the human.

Kamaki rubbed her eyes. “Yes, I’m not used to awaken early.” She then yawn. “Stupide meting.” She then saw Luna and some of her guards approaching. “About time.” Said the human as she got up.

Luna was a little insulted. “We just arrived.” Kamaki just rolled her eyes. “Can we just go already?” Kamaki nodded, Luna told some of guards to stay and guard the entrance.

Once they arrived at the spot, Kamaki activated the portal. “Just entered, Pegasus will be waiting for you on the other side, he will take you to the president.” Luna nodded her head. “Good, if you need me after you’re done, I will be at the library, I have some reading to do.” She then left.

Luna and three of her guard entered the portal, when they step out they could see a room with machines they hadn’t seen before. “Princess Luna.” All of them saw Pegasus walking towards them with a smile on his face. “it’s so good to see you again.” He then took her hand kissed it, which made the lunar princess blush. “How have you been?” He asked her.

“Good, I have been good.” Luna then loo over at one of her guards. “Pegasus, I want you to meet captain Shadow, she is and two more guard are coming with me today.” Pegasus saw a pony who had black fur, purple hair with bat wings and fangs? “As you can see, she is a bat pony.” Shadow then saluted.

Pegasus was just intrigued. “Fascinating, we didn’t see any bat pony when we send the drone to study your people when discovered your world.”

Shadow decided to speak up. “Not many of us live in towns in Equestria, we have our own town called Nightforest.” She explained.

“Well, I’m not about to question someone as scary as you. Shall we?” He then walk towards the door.

Shadow stop Luna. “Princess, do I really look scary?” She asked Luna.

Luna thought for moment. “Yes, you can be scary at times.” She then walk after Pegasus while Shadow wasn’t sure if that was an insult or not.

They had to walk up a floor and when they arrived, Luna saw more humans and they were wearing black suit, they were standing around the floor and they had something in their ears, she asked Pegasus who they were. “They are the secret service, they protect the president, they are like your guards.” Luna nodded in understanding.

As they walk past them, all of them eyed Luna and her guards, portably because they didn’t trust them and they look like monsters. Luna didn’t care while her guards did what the secret services did, keep an eye on them so they didn’t kidnap or hurt their princess.

They arrived at a door and Pegasus open it for Luna, who walk in and her guards followed her. Inside the room they could see a human sitting by a table, they could see that the human was female and she had grey hair, she was wearing a suit with skirt. There was also more humans in suits there who got ready to act.

Then Pegasus spoke. “Madam president, I have brought you princess Luna.”

The president over at Luna and she was surprised to see her. “I’ll be damn, you weren’t kidding Pegasus, she look like a pony and has horn and wings.” The president got up and held out a hand. “My name is Hillary Clinton, I’m the president of the united states of America.” Luna was about to gabbed her hand when one of them men in suit step between them which made Shadow to react. “For fuck sake Johnson, we are just going to shake hands.” Johnson step back so did Shadow. “If you can’t behave then leave.”

Johnson went back to his spot. “Sorry madman president.”

Hillary just rolled her eyes. “I do apologize for that, Johnson takes his job a little to serious. Shall we try again?” Shadow step away so Luna could shake hands with the president. “Now that we done that, shall we take about your world and what Pegasus is doing?” Hillary asked as she sat down.

“Yes.” Luna sat down on a chair on the other side of the table.

Luna started with that they were a peaceful race and had no intention in invading the human world, all they anted was to live in peace and let Pegasus sell duel monster in their world, but if anyone came to their world with evil intentions, they would arrest the humans. The president told Luna that they had no intention in invading their world and she would keep it a secret, and she expect that Pegasus would do the same. Maybe one they could live together but that was not now. There was one thing the Hillary couldn’t believe and that was that they controlled the weather with, Luna didn’t mention the sun and mon. Luna had trouble believing that they didn’t have magic at all, and that the weather move on its own.

The meeting went on for 30 min and when the president left, it was only Luna, her guards and Pegasus left. “So, what to you think about her?” Pegasus asked Luna.

“She is a sincere woman and I believe her, I’m not so sure about this Johnson, I didn’t like they way he look at me.”

Pegasus nodded. “I agree, maybe I should take some extra security measures to the portal.”

Luna like that idea. “Yes, please do that.”

Pegasus then clap his hands together. “Now, I have something ells to show up. If you all will follow me.” He then walk out of the room and the ponies followed him with curiosity.

They arrived at new room with a desk and chair. “This is my office, I thought I would show how we would show the rest of Equestria the duels.” Luna was also curious about that. Pegasus then gestured towards a giant black thing that was hanging on the wall, a man was standing by it and he was doing something. “This is a tv and we are going to us it to broadcast the tournament all over Eqestria, are we ready?” He asked the man.

“Yes, I am turning it on now.” He pressed play and the video camera started to show Luna and the others on the tv.

When Luna and the guards saw that, it horrified them. “What kind of black magic is this?” Asked Shadow as she drew her sword and was ready to destroy the tv.

Pegasus step between Shadow and the tv. “Wow, take it easy captain. This is not black magic, is technology and we are going to us.” He pointed at the device in the man’s hand. “That’s called a video camera and it’s broadcast signals to the tv.”

The ponies had no idea what Pegasus was talking about, all they knew was they could see themselves at the tv. “I think I speak for me sister here and this tv is not something I want you to sell in my world, we wouldn’t know what to do with it.” Said Luna.

Pegasus nodded in understanding. “That’s understandable, I guess we only us them for the tournament.” Luna agree. “Do you know he nit will be? We would like to arrive the day before so we could get the change to set the tv’s up.”

“The tournament will be three days, which day is in this world?” Luna asked Pegasus.

“It’s Tuesday.” Pegasus answered.

Luna smiled. “Good, the days are the same. Come on Thursday and some of guards will help you.”

Now Pegasus smiled. “Great. There is one more thing, is it possible two of my people could travel to Equestria? We want the portal to appeared another placed then the forest, we thought someplace outside Ponyville.”

Luna didn’t mind. “Sure, some of my guards can accompany them.” Once that was settle, they headed back to the portal.

Once they arrived, two scientists was waiting for them, a woman and a man. they introduce them self to Luna, they then activated the portal and headed to Equestria. Once they were back, they all headed to the entrance, once there, Luna assigned two guard to the humans so they wouldn’t be disturbed while they were looking for a new placed for the portal. Then Luna headed towards the town, she wanted to duel Kamaki.

Once they arrived at the library, Luna saw Kamaki sitting outside reading a book, it was about Equestria and the towns. when Luna said that she wanted to duel her, Kamaki asked why and the answer was that the night princess wanted to see what was so special about this card game, considering her sister hadn’t shut up about it since she played it. Kamaki didn’t mind so she returned the book and they headed to a placed outside Ponyville so none one could disturb them.

Once they found a place, Kamaki gave Luna a deck and they both got ready.

Kamaki: 4000

Luna: 4000

Kamaki was first. “I draw.” Her cards was; Chamber dragonmaid, dragonmaid Ernus, Laundry, Perlor, dragonmaid changeover and welcome. “Well, this suck, not a single trap card, I guess I have to fix that.” She grabbed her card. “Alright, I’m going to summon out chamber dragonmaid in defense.” Kamaki placed the card on the duel disk and monster appeared that Luna recognized, it was the same card Kamaki used against her sister. “I am going to activated her ability, since I normal summon her I can add a spell/trap card from my deck to my hand.” She took her deck and look through it. “I’m going to ad dragonmaid downtime." She placed the card in her hand placed the deck back. “I place two cards face down and end my turn.”

“I recognized that monster card, you used it against my sister.” Said Luna.

“I thought I would see if I could beat you with the cards I beat your sister with.” Said Kamaki with a shrugged.

Luna didn’t mind, she could do something Celestia didn’t do, beat Kamaki. She drew and she had; Lunalight blue cat, crimson fox, purple butterfly, white rabbit, allure of darkness, and lunalight reicarnation dance. Once Luna saw her cards, she knew what to do. “First, I’m going to activated the spell card allure of darkness.” She placed the card where is should go. “This card let me draw two cards, but I have to send a dark monster to my graveyard, I send crimson fox.” She did that. “When this card is send to GY by card effect, one of your monster attack points becomes 0.” It affected Kamaki’s only card, Luna drew two more card and they were negate attack and fire formation-tenki. “Then I’m going to summon out Lunalight white rabbit in attack.” A rabbit with a hammer appeared. “When this card is normal summon, I can special summon a Lunalight monster my GY, I will bring back crimson fox.” A red fox appeared and it was kneeling. “Now I’m going to send purple butterfly to GY,” She did that. “now white rabbit gets an extra thousand attack points.” It happened. “Now white rabbit will attack your chamber.” The monster was destroyed. “I will place three cards face down and end my turn.” White rabbits attack point want back to normal.

Kamaki was again impressed, how can these ponies be so good at this? She could figure that out later, she was in a duel. “I draw.” It was return of the dragon lord and she activated it. “I can now special summon chamber from my GY,” the card came back. “now I will activated the spell card dragonmaid changeover, I can now use Laundry and Ernus to fusion summon dragonmaid Sheou." She send the cards she needed to the GY and placed the card on the duel disk and a dragon appeared. “I’m going to activated Sheou’s ability, I can special summon one level 9 or lower dragonmaid monster from my GY, come back dragonmaid Ernus.” A purple dragon appeared. “I now activated the spell card dragonmaid welcome and thanks to this spell card, all my monsters gain 100 atk/def for each dragonmaid monster I have out, since I have two both my monsters gets 200 each.” It happened. “I now activated dragonmaid welcome effected, since I have two dragonmaid out, I can now ad a dragonmaid card from my GY to my hand, I chose chamber.” She got the card. “Ernus, attack Luna’s white rabbit.” Ernus attack with flames from its mouth.

Luna was ready. “I don’t think so, I activated negate attack which stop your attack.”

“I activated Sheou ability, since you activated a card I can negate it and the card will be destroyed.” Luna didn’t question it, she placed negate attack in the GY. “Now I have to place Sheou back to the extra deck,” She did that. “but I can now special summon a House dragonmaid from my extra deck.” She did that. “And don’t forget, Ernus is still attacking.” Ernus destroyed white rabbit. “I end my turn.”

Luna: 2000

“Since you destroyed white rabbit, I will activated Lunalight reincarnation dance, this card let me add two Lunalight monster from the deck to my hand, I chose yellow Marten and Black sheep." Luna then drew her card and it was polymerization, time to even out the battle field. “I’m going to activated the spell card fire formation-tenki, I can now ad one level 4 or lover beast warrior from deck to my hand, I chose lunalight Kaleido Chick." She took the card and placed the deck back. “Now I will summon out blue cat in attack.” A blue car appeared. “And now I will activated polymerization and fuse three Lunalight monster, I fuse crimson fox, black sheep and Kaleido chick to fusion summon lunalight Saber Dancer." A cat lady appeared and it had two swords, Kamaki became a little worried. “since I used Black sheep fusion material, I can add a Lunalight monster from my GY to my hand, I chose Purple butterfly.” She took card and placed it in her hand. “ Now, Saber dance gains 200 atk point for each beast warrior monster have in my GY, she also get an extra 100 thanks to fire formation-tenki, I will also send purple butterfly to the GY so I can give Blue cat another 1000 attack points.” It’s was now 2700. “Blue cat, attack Ernus.” Both monsters was destroyed. Saber dancer. attack House dragonmaid.” The monster was destroyed. “I end my turn.” Saber attack went back to 3900.

Kamaki: 3000

Kamaki drew her card and it was dragonmaid tidying, could she use it? Maybe. “I’m going to summon out Parlor dargonmaid in defense mode.” She did that. “I end my turn.”

“I draw.” I was lunalight fusion, she couldn’t use it now. “First, I’m going to activated the effect of fire formation-tenki, I now can add a beast warrior from my deck to my hand, I chose Lunalight Emerald bird.” She took the card and placed the deck back. “I’m going to summon out Emerald bird in attack mode, since I normal summon the card, I can now send a Lunalight monster to the GY, I send Yellow marten.” When she did that, Saber dancer attack points went up, 4300. “Since I did that, I can now draw a card.” It was Luna light perfume which made her smile. “I will now active the card I just drew, Luna light perfume let me special summon a Lunalight monster from my GY, come back Crimson fox.” The monster appeared in attack mode, Saber dancer 4100. “Now, Saber attack Parlor.” The monster was destroy, Kamaki had no monsters. “Now, the rest of my monsters will attack you directly.” Kamaki could just watch as the attack, she had lost.

“So, did you have fun?” Kamaki asked as she put away the two duel disks back in her backpack once they were done with the duel.

Luna look at the deck. “Yes, I had fun and I can see why my sister keeps talking about this.” She look at Kamaki. “Is possible I can buy these cards?”

That question took Kamaki off guard, she didn’t expect to heard it. “I would like to say yes, but I have to say no. I have no idea what they will costs and I don’t want to scam you, I think It’s best to wait until Pegasus tells the price.”

Luna didn’t like it but she understood. “Very well, I will wait.” She gave the deck back to Kamaki. “What will you do now?” She asked the human.

“Fine two more ponies that want to be in the tournament, let’s hope I find some.” Kamaki then headed to town while Luna and her guards flew home.

Octavia was walking through Ponyville to her house and she couldn’t help but wonder what those construction workers was doing on the train, just what was this tournament they mention? Maybe her roommate knew, if she could find her.

When Octavia arrived at Sugarcube corner she could see a bunch of ponies standing around a table, her curiosity took over so she walk over to see what was going on.

Octavia recognized a pony there. “Lyra.”

The mint unicorn turned around. “Hey Octavia, did you just get back?” She asked her friend.

“Yes, I just arrived. Say, what’s going on?” She asked as she look at the crowed.

“Spike and Roseluck are playing duel monsters.” Said Lyra with a smile.

Octavia tilted her head to the side in confusion. “Duel monsters?”

Lyra just smiled. “Yeah, it’s a new card game that hopefully will be on sale soon.”

Octavia was not any wiser. “Why haven’t I heard about this card game before?” She asked Lyra.

“it’s from another world and a human name Kamaki brought them here, I can’t wait to buy some card and duel.” Lyra went back to the table.

Octavia had no idea what she was talking about, she look closer at the table and saw Spike and Roseluck holding cards in their hands, there was some on the table to. “I can now summon out Red eyes black dragon and I will attack you directly which means I win Roseluck.” Said Spike with a smile on his face.

Rose just slammed her head on the table. “You got to be kidding me, that’s the third time I lose against you.” She got up. “One more game.”

Spike just gathered his cards. “Sure, if you want to lose again.” They started to play.

Octavia had to admit that she was curious about this card game, Lyra gave her the answer she got but not all of them. “I’m heading home Lyra.” Lyra just waved a hand as she walk off, she was to busy with the game.

After her Duel with Luna, Kamaki found a restaurant to try the food in Equestria. She was glad she could order a salat without floors, considering almost everything on the menu had flowers or hay. Damn ponies. Now Kamaki was sitting on the table eating her salat while looking at her own cards, she realized after her duel with Dash that she had to make some changes to it. “Maybe this?” She picked up Mythical beast Cerberus. “Yeah, he could work.” She took a bite from the salat, it was good.

Then a new voice spoke. “Hey, Kamaki.” The human look up and her mood went from happy to unhappy, standing beside her was Rainbow Dash. “Can we talk?”

Kamaki just gave her a suspicious look. “Do you really think I want to talk to you considering how you have threat me the last two days?”

Dash look down on the ground in shame. “Yeah, I’m not proud of that.” She look up. “Since our duel I have been think and it was wrong of me to treat you like that, I had no right to blame you for princess Celestia’s lose. You won fair and square and I am truly sorry for my behavior, I hope you can give me a chance.”

Kamaki listen to every word Dash said and she meant every word, she let out a sighed. “Fine, but if you try that shit again, I’m going to punch you in the face.”

To Kamaki’s surprised, Dash smiled. “That’s fair, I was a jerk after all.” She then sat down by the table. “So, what are you doing?” She asked the human.

Kamaki went back to her cards. “I am trying to reorganize my deck replacing some card with other cards.” She told Dash.

“Cool, do humans do this often?” She asked Kamaki.

“Only those who aren’t happy with their decks.” She told Dash.

Dash didn’t really understand, maybe because she wasn’t into this. She then saw a card and picked it up. “Mythical beast Cerberus, he looks tough. It says that he can get a counter each time a spell card is activated, what’s a counter?” Dash asked.

Kamaki had to find the right words. “It’s like a small gem that appeared above him.” Dash had no idea if that was right. “Let’s talk about something ells, your fan Scootaloo.”

Dash raised an eye brown when she heard that name. “What did squirt do?” She asked.

“You call her squirt?” Dash just shrugged her shoulders. “On my way back home yesterday, she tried to run me over with her scooter.” Dash want’s to happy to hear that. “Apparently she angry at me because I humiliated you in our dule which I didn’t, I beat you fair and square.”

Dash placed both hands on her face. “Dear Celestia, she take being my biggest fan to far.” She placed her hands on the table and let out a sighed. “I’ll talk to her tomorrow.”

“Don’t count on it, she grounded and I think her aunt is mad at you.”

“Yes.” Octavia sat down by the table. “I want to try this card game you have brought, I saw Spike and Roseluck play it and it look fun.”

Kamaki didn’t mind. “Sure. Let me get you a deck and then we can play.” She took out a deck, she called them Melodious. She was about to take out the duel disk but Octavia just suggested that they could use the table, that could work. Kamaki gathered her cards, then found two duel mats she had brought with here, she then took out her phone so she could make sure they had life points, she did that with an app. The ponies had no idea what a phone was and they didn’t ask, Kamaki took out another deck, she then explained the rulers to Octavia and they were ready. Dash decided to watch.

The human went first. “I draw.” Her cards was; Abyss warrior, Neptabyss, the Atlantean prince, Heavy infantry, Dragoons, Surface, and Aegis of the Ocean Dragon Lord. “Not a bad hand.” She said to herself. “I’m going to place to card face down.” She placed the spell and trap. “Then I’m going to summon Atlantean heavy infantry in defense mode.” She placed a card on the mat.

“Wait a minute.” Dash took closer look at the card. “That’s not the card you used against princess Celestia or me, what’s going on?” She asked Kamaki.

“The cards I used against Celestia and those I’m using now are called structure decks, they are decks made by Pegasus people to introduce this card game to Equestria.” Kamaki explained to them both. “And the cards I used against you, was my own.” She told Dash. “Can we get on with the duel?” She asked with some annoyance.

“Alright, alright. You don’t have to take that tone.” Said Dash as she sat back in her chair.

Kamaki wasn’t done. “I’m now going to activated it’s effect, I can summon another 1 level 4 or below sea serpent from my hand, I summon Neptabyss in defense.” She placed the card sideways. “This card has an effect but I’m not going to use it, I end my turn.”

Then it was Octavia turn, she drew her card and her hand was; Canon the Melodious diva, Mozarta the Melodious maestra, Opera, 1st Movement Solo Melodious Illusion and Miraculous descent. “Like you, I’m also going to set two card face down.” She placed her two trap cards. “Then I will activated 1^st movement solo, since I control no monster, I can now special summon 1 level 4 or lover melodious monster from my hand or deck, I chose my deck.” She picked it up and found the card. “I’m going to summon Solo." She placed the new card down in the monster sone, she then shuffled her deck and placed it back. “Now I will normal summon Opera.” She placed the card down. “But Opera can’t attack the turn it’s summon.”

Then Dash notice something about the card. “2300 attack points? That’s a lot.” She was impressed.

Back to Octavia. “Since I have a melodious monsters out, I can now summon out Canon.” She placed it in attack. “Now I will attack your Neptabyss with my Canon.”

Kamaki had a trap. “I will activated the trap card aegis of the ocean dragon lord, now my level 3 or lover water monster I have can’t be destroyed by battle.” Octavia had to end her turn and Kamaki placed the card in the GY, she then drew her card and it was Attack squad. “I’m going to summon out attack squad and since I have aqua monsters out, it gains 800 attack point.” It’s has 2200. “I will now attack your Canon.” Octavia had to place it in the GY. “I end my turn.”

Octavia: 3200

Octavia drew her card and it was Aria. “I’m going to summon out Aria in defense mode.” She placed it sideways. “Then I’m going to attack your attack squad with Opera.” The monster was destroyed. “I end my turn.”

Kamaki: 3900

Kamaki drew her card and it was Poseidon wave. “I will place on card face down then I will activated the spell card surface.” She flip the card she had out. “I can now special summon 1 level 3 or below monsters from my GY in defense, I will summon attack squad.” It was the only card she had. “Then I will summon abyss warrior in defense,” She placed the card down. “I will end my turn.”

Octavia drew her card and it was Fortissimo, she could save this for later. “My Opera will attack your abyss warrior.”

“I’m going to activated the trap card Poseidon wave, this card will negate your attack and deal you 800 damage.” Said Kamki.

“I don’t think so.” Kamaki and Dash was confused. “I will activated my own trap card, melodious Illusion. I can now target one of my monsters and they are not affected by your spell/trap card, which means your Poseidon wave is useless.” Kamaki was impressed. “And, Opera can attack twice. I attack your abyss warrior and Neptabyss.” Both monsters was gone. “I end my turn.”

Kamaki drew her card and it was Pikeman. “I’m going to summon out altantean dragoons and then I’m going to overlay it with Abyss warrior to Xyz summon out Bahamut shark." She placed a new card on top of the two others. ”Then I will attack your Opera.” It was destroyed. “I end my turn.”

Octavia: 2900

Octavia drew her card and it was Sonata. “Since I have a Melodious monsters out, I can special summon out Sonata, I will place her in defense.” She placed the card on the table. “Since I special summon her, every fairy type monster gets 500 atk/def points. “I will now normal summon out Solo in defense and end my turn.”

Then Kamaki drew her card and it was Tornado wall, she couldn’t use it. “I’m going to summon out Pikeman in defense.” She did that. “and now my Bahamut shark will attack your Sonata.” Her defense and attack points was gone. “I end my turn.”

Octavia drew her card and it was Call of the haunted but it couldn’t help but, she had to deal with Bahamut shark. She look at her card, she had fortissimo but it wasn’t enough. Octavia then saw Mozarta, that could work. “I’m going to tribute Solo and Aria to summon out Mozarta.” She placed both cards in the GY and placed a new card on the mat. “Then I will activated the spell card fortissimo which can give my Mozarta 800 extra attack point.” She had 3400. “I will now attack your Bahamut shark.” It was destroyed. “I end my turn.”

Kamaki: 3100

Kamaki drew her card, it was Marksman. “I’m going to summon marksman in defense.” She did that and ended her turn.

Octavia drew her card and it was Elegy. “I will activated Mazarta effect, I can special summon a light fairy type monster from my hand, I will summon out Elegy.” She placed the card down. “And I will activated call of the haunted, I can now special summon out Canon from my GY.” She did that. “Mazarta will now attack your heavy infantry and my other monster will attack you two other monsters.” All her monsters monster was gone “I will end my turn.”

Kamaki look at her last card and considered there was only one card that could help her but could she draw it? Only one way to find out. “I draw.” And it Terraforming, not he card she wanted but she didn’t complain. ”First, I’m going to place one card face down and then I will activated terraforming, this let add one field spell from my deck to my hand, I chose Legendary ocean and I will play it.” She placed it in the field space. “I will end my turn.”

The two ponies had no idea what Kamaki was doing, she had no cards in her hand and no monsters, was she giving up? Octavia could ask her later, it was her turn and she drew her card and it was Transmodify which gave her an idea. “I will activated transmodify, I will now send Canon to the GY which let me special summon a monster with same type and attribute as Canon, but it has to be one lever higher, I chose another Elegy.” Now Octavia had two monster with 2000 attack points and one with 2600 and thanks to fortissimo, one of those monsters gains 800 extra points. “Now, my Mozarta will attack you directly and thanks to fortissimo, she now have 3400.”

Kamaki just smiled. “I don’t think so, I will activated tornado wall.” She flip over her only card. “I can only activated tornado wall while I have a legendary ocean, now I don’t take any battle damage.”

Octavia AND Dash’s eyes widen. “Are you serious?”

“Yes, I’m serious. Here, read the card.” Kamaki handed Dash the card.

Dash took the card and started to read it. “Let’s see… wait a minute. It says here that you can only activated it when you have ‘Umi’ is on the field, you don’t have that.” Kamaki handed Dash her field spell, Dash read it. “Damn it, she can activated it.” Dash handed Octavia both cards and she was right, she handed them back to Kamaki.

Octavia couldn’t do anything. “I guess I end my turn.”

Kamaki got lucky but she hadn’t won yet, she needed to deal with fortissimo and there was only one card that could do it, she need to draw the right one. “I draw.” It was Salvage, a card she need but not right now. “I end my turn.”

Octavia drew and it was Polymerization, she activated it. “I will now fuse both of my Elegy to fusion summon Schuberta the melodious maestra.” She placed the cards in the GY and placed Schuberta on the table. “I end my turn.”

Kamaki drew and it was a card she needed, Tridon. “First, I’m going to summon out Tridon.” She placed the card down. “Then I’m going to activated the spell card salvage, I can now target two water monsters in my GY with 1500 or les atk and add them to my hand, I chose Neptabyss and heavy infantry.” She took the card. “Them I’m, going to tribute them and Tridon to special summon Poseidra, the Atlantean dragon." She placed the three cards in the GY and placed a new card on the field. “Since I summon out Poseidra this way, all spell and trap card on the field must return to our hands.” They took back all of them. “Since four cards return to our hands this way, your monster loses 300 atk each.” That happened. “Now I play my field spell again which gives my Poseidra 200 extra atk but it's level goes down one.” That also happened. “Now, my Poseidra will attack your Schuberta.”

“I will activated her ability, I banish three monster from my GY and Schuberta gains 200 atk points for each of them.” Octavia banished Canon, Opera and Elegy, Schuberta atk was now 2700.

Octavia: 2600

Kamaki placed one card face down and ended her turn.

Octavia knew what card the face down was, she drew her card and it was Ostinato a card she couldn’t use. Octavia wonder what she could do, she could play fortissimo and boost Mozarta’s attack but thanks to Kamaki face down, she wouldn’t take any damage. She picked up Miraculos desecent. “I place one card face down and end my turn.”

Kamaki drew her card and it was another attack squad, she summon it and it attack became 2400. “Poseidra will now attack your Mozarta.” The monster was destroyed.

Octavia: 2000

“And attack squad will now attack you directly.”

Octavia was ready. “I activated the trap card Miraculos desecent, I can now special summon a fairy monster that is banished, I summon Opera.” The monster came back but was destroyed so was the trap card, Kamaki ended her turn.

Octavia: 1900

Octavia was in trouble, she had to get rid of Kamaki field spell, did she have a card that could do that? She didn’t know. Octavia drew her card and it was Shopina, she couldn’t summon it, she had lost. “I end my turn.” Kamaki attack her directly and the match was over.

“So, was it fun?” Kamaki asked as she gathered the card and mats.

The earth pony had to admit it, it was fun. “Yes, I had fun.” She said with a smile.

“That great to here.” Kamaki used her arms to lean on the table. “Here’s the thing, in three days we are going to have a tournament to promote Duel monster to Equestria, are you interested in being in it?” She asked Octavia.

Octavia just smiled. “Yes, I’ll be in the tournament.”

That made Kamaki smile. “Great, get to know your deck and challenge others to a duel. Roseluck, Spike, Mac, Rarity, Zecora and Celestia are the others. It’s in three days.”

Octavia would do that, she gathered the cards and walk off.

Dash look over at the human who was smiling. “Did she really won by pure luck?” She asked Kamaki.

Kamaki nodded her head. “Yes, and here’s a question to you, are Octavia single?”

Dash almost had a heart attack when she heard that question. “What? Are you interested in her?” Kamaki just smiled. “Damn. To be honest, I have no idea. I don’t think she is over her least relationship, it ended badly.”

Kamaki was a little sad. “Oh well.” She decided to ask something ells. “Do you know a pony that could be the last duelist in the tournament?” She asked Dash.

The pegasus had to think for a moment. “Yeah, might know somepony.” She got up. “Follow me.” She started to walk and Kamaki got up and followed her while wondering who this pony was.

Dash and Kamaki was walking through Ponyville to whoever Dash’s friend was, Kamaki thought that this pony was Dash’s friend. Kamaki decided to ask.

“Just who is this friend of yours?” Kamaki asked the blue pegasus.

“Her name is Lumi Koude, she isn’t from Equestria and she kind of a loner and she doesn’t like other that much. To be honest, I am one of the few she tolerate.” Kamaki gave Dash a questionable look, this didn’t sound like someone who like games or others. “Don’t worry, she can be nice and she likes games.” Kamaki wanted to hear it before she believe it.

Once they arrived at their destination there was one big thing Kamaki saw and that it was snowing, there was clouds above the house they were walking towards and there was snow falling from the clouds. Kamaki didn’t know what to believe right now.

Dash could see Kamaki was utter confused when she saw the snow. “Lumi is from a town far up north called Coldville where it always snowing and she prefer the snow, so she had a crystal that makes it snow around her house. I don’t know how it works.” Kamaki didn’t care at the moment, her mind was blank. She didn’t understand this world.

Dash over to the door and knock on it, a voice spoke up. “Just come in Dash.” The voice was female. Dash open the door and in they walk.

The first thing Kamaki felt when she entered the house was cold, it was freezing and she had to cover herself with her arms. “I’m not dress for this.” She said while trying to keep herself warm.

Dash couldn’t help but smirk. “Yeah, it’s cold in here and its thanks to the crystal I mention before and…”

“…and that’s the way I like. You should know that by now Dash.” Said the voce from before and it was coming from the living room. Once the duo arrived at the living room, Kamaki saw an earth pony with light blue fur with white hair siting a chair reading a book. it had to be Lumi Koude. “Are you here by your own or did Pinkie send you?” The pony asked Dash without looking up from her book.

“I’m here because I’m helping Kamaki with something and I thought about you.” Dash told Lumi.

“And what would that be?” Lumi asked as she put down her book on the table, she then saw Kamaki. “So, your that human I have been hearing about these few days. Who are you?” Lumi asked her.

“My name is Fuogome Kamaki and I’m here because Dash said you could help me with my task.”

Lumi crossed her arms. “Are you talking about this card game I have a seen others playing?” Kamaki nodded. “I have to admit it have peaked my interest, I do like games. Just what is it?” Lumi asked.

“It’s called duel monster and as you probably know already, you use card to defeat your opponent. We are going to have a tournament in two days, maybe three and I’m missing one duelist, Dash suggested you.”

Lumi look at the pegasus who tired to look innocent. “Did she?” She then stood up. “Is possible to see these cards?” Kamaki nodded her head as she took out a deck from her backpack and gave them to Lumi, she started to look through them. “Huh, they look cool. Do you have someone with ice?” Kamaki shook her head. “Too bad, and who am I going to play against? You?” She asked Kamaki.

“I was think you could duel Dash.”

Dash’s eyes widen when she hear that. “You want me to duel?” Dash asked Kamaki who nodded her head. “Why? You’re a way better than me.”

Kamaki shrugged her shoulders. “That may be true but I think you need a second change after what you did last time.” Dash remember that and she is not proud of that. “So? What do you say?”

Dash wanted to it but after last time, she wasn’t sure. “I’m guessing you want time to use the cards I used last time.” That was a yes. “Fine, I’ll do it.” Maybe she could enjoy it this time because she wasn’t mad now.

After Kamaki had explained the rules and Lumi had look through the rule book, they headed to the backyard, both mares had strap on the duel disks, both was ready.

Dash: 4000

Lumi: 4000

Lumi and Dash was standing in Lumi’s backyard wearing the duel disk, they were ready for a duel. Dash asked if she could go first which Lumi didn’t mind, Dash drew her card and the six she had was; Lunalight Blue cat, Crimson fox, White rabbit, Luna light perfume, Allure of darkness and Negate attacl. “I will first summon out Blue cat in attack mode.” She placed the card on the disk. “And then I will place on card face down and end my turn.” Kamaki already like what Dash did and she didn’t throw any card on the ground.

Lumi wasn’t entirely sure what Dash did with that last card, she could find out later. She drew her card and those she had was; Jurrac Guaiba, Protops, Stauriko, Spinos, Circle of the fire kings, and Defenders intersect. Lumi wasn’t entire sure what to do, then she saw Protops and smiled when she read the card. “I’m going to summon out Protops in attack.” A blue/orange animal that was on four legs and had spikes on its head appeared. “Protops gains 100 atk for each monster on your side Dash.” The pony and human was surprised by that, Protops attack became 1800. “Now he will attack your monster.” The dinosaur charge towards Dash’s monster.

Dash was ready. “I activated the trap card negate attack,” A card flip up. “this card negate your attack and ends the battle phase.” Protops stop its attack.

Lumi was utterly confused, she had no idea what just happened. “What… what did you just do?” She asked Dash.

Dash blink a few time, she didn’t expected Lumi to ask that question. “I just activated a trap card, didn’t you read the rule book Kamaki gave you?”

“Yes, but I just read through it very quickly and I kind of skip that part.” Lumi look at her cards but the only trap card she had she couldn’t use. “I guess I end my turn.”

Then it was Dash turn and she drew Monster reborn, not the card she wanted so she decided to use it later. Dash then look at her cards and she got an idea. “I activated the spell card Allure of darkness, I can now draw two cards.” She did and those were Purple butterfly and Fusion recovery. “Now I have to banished one dark monster from my hand, I banished White rabbit.” She placed the card in her pocket. “Now I send a card I just drew to the GY, Purple butterfly which activated her ability which gives a Lunailight monster I have out an extra 1000 attack points.” Blue cat is now 2600. “Blue cat attack Protops.” The monster was destroyed and Blue cat’s attack points went back to normal. “I end my turn.” Not what she had planned but she took the lead, for now.

Lumi: 3200

Lumi drew her card and it was Burden of the mighty, she liked that card. “I think I will also activated a spell card, Burden of the mighty. Now your monsters loses 100 attack point depending on its level, your Blue cat is level 4 which mean it’s loses 400.” It did. “I now summon out Guaiba.” A monster with teeth appeared. “Now, attack.” Guaiba attack and Blue cat was destroyed.

Dash 3500

Dash drew her card and it was Lunalight reincarnation dance. “Since you destroyed Blue cat, I can now special summon a Lunalight monster from my deck.” She took the deck and found the card. “I chose Emerald bird." A weird bird appeared and thanks to Burden of the mighty it lost 400 atk, Dash placed the deck back and it shuffled. “I can now activated its special effect, since I special summon Emerald bird, I can now send a Lunalight monster from my hand to the GY which let me draw one card, I send Crimson fox to the GY.” She did and then she drew her card, it was Kaleido chick. “Since I send Crimson fox to the GY, her effect activities, your monster atk points becomes 0.” That happened. “Now I activated monster reborn to bring back Blue cat from my GY.” The cat came back. “Since I special summon this card, Emerald bird’s atk point gets double.” It became 2400. “Now I will attack your Guaiba with Emerald bird.” The monster was destroyed.

Lumi: 800

“Since you destroyed my Guaiba, I can now special summon one Jurrac monster with 1700 or less atk from my deck, I summon out Stauriko in defense.” A lizard with fire on its back appeared.

“Then I will destroyed that monster with Blue cat.” The cat attack and the lizard was destroyed. “I set one card face down and end my turn.” She placed Lunalight reincarnation dance.

Lumi was up and she drew Jurrac Impact, she smiled when she saw what the card could do. “Since you destroyed Stauriko, I now get two Jurrac token." Two eggs that on fire appeared. “I then set one card face down,” It was Jurrac impact. “I now will tribute my two token to summon out Jurrac Spinos.” A giant monster with who had a fin on its back and it was on fire. “I now activated the trap card Jurrac impact.” A card flip up. “Since I control a dinosaur monster with 2500 or more atk, I can now destroy every card on the field.” Flames came out of the trap card and it destroyed every card. “I now summon out another Stauriko.” The lizard came back. “I will now activated Circle of fire kings, I can now destroy Stauriko and summon out another fire monster from my GY, I summon Spinos.” The giant monster came back.

Dash was up. “Since you destroyed Blue cat by a card effect, I get back a Lunalight monster from my deck, chose Yellow marten.” A yellow animal appeared. “I’m not done, since you destroyed Emerald bird by a card effect, I now summon a Lunalight monster I banished and that’s White rabbit.” A white rabbit appeared. “But it’s effect it’s negate.”

Lumi was now a little bored. “Can I attack now?” Dash nodded. “Good, Spinos, attack the yellow one.” The giant monster just trample it. “I end my turn.”

Dash wasn’t sure how she was going to win, she could fusion summon but could she draw the card she needed? She didn’t know. Dash drew her card and it was Mystical space typhoon, a card she could use but not now. “I’m going to summon out Kaleido chick defense and end my turn.” A kid in yellow appeared.

Lumi drew her card and it was Rising fire, a card she couldn’t use but she could Defenders intersect. “I set one card face down and now I will attack your rabbit.” Spinos charged. “I also activated Defenders intersect, both of your monster will now change to attack mode.” It happened and White rabbit was destroyed with some of Dash life points. “I end my turn.”

Dash: 1700

Dash drew her card and she hope it was what she wanted, it was Lunalight fusion. Not what she wanted but it would work. “I activated Luna light perfume, I can now summon a Lunalight monster from my GY, I chose Yellow marten.” The yellow monster came back. “Then I will activated Lunalight fusion which let me fuse the two monster I have out, that let me fusion summon Lunalight Cat dancer." A new monster appeared which Lumi thought was cool. “Now, cat dancer attack Spinos.” The cat attack but it wasn’t destroyed.

Dash: 1500

Lumi was just confused by what Dash did. “Why did you do that and why wasn’t your monster destroyed?”

“Cat dancer can’t be destroyed by battle and if it’s attack, she can inflict 100 damage to you.” Lumi didn’t like that. Dash just smiled and then she saw Cat dancer turn around and winked at her, did just Cat dancer wink at her?

Lumi: 700

Lumi was up and she needed a card that could take care of Cat dancer, she drew her card and it was Lost world, a field spell. She could use it but she had no idea how. “Hey, monkey.” Kamaki didn’t like that, she hope that Lumi would use her name, at least she didn’t call her an ape. “How do I activated a field spell?” She asked.

“There’s a button on your duel disk that says field spell, just press it.” Lumi found it and press it, then a new slot open up on the dule disk. “Just place the card in the new slot.” Lumi did that and it closed, then entire area change, it became a jungle.

“Okay, this is cool.” Dash thought the same. “Well, while Lost world is active, all monster expect dinosaurs losses 500 atk points.” It happened considering Cat dancer atk was now 1900. “Spinos, attack Cat dancer.” It did and Dash lost life points.

Dash: 800

Dash could use Mystical space typhoon to get rid of Lost world but she wanted to see what she drew first. She drew her card and it was Mirror Force, she could use that. “I place one card face down and end my turn.” She didn’t dare to attack, she could lose.

Lumi was up and her card was Hunting instinct, she wasn’t sure if she could use it. “Oh well, attack Spinos.” The giant monster attacked.

Dash was ready. “I activated Mirror force, now your Spinos is destroyed.” It happened and Lumi had to end her turn and she was defenseless. Dash drew her card but she didn’t care what it was, she had won. “Cat dancer, attack Lumi directly.” The cat did and Lumi lost.

“Well, did you have fun?” Kamaki asked Lumi as she went over to Dash to get the cards and the duel disk, Dash was busy looking at her cards.

Lumi smiled. “Well, yes. I might have lost but I still had fun, who ells is going to be in the tournament? I want to know that before I chose to be in it myself.” She said while handing the duel disk back to Lumi.

“Roseluck, Spike, Mac, Zecora, Rarity, Octavia and Celestia.”

The last name got Lumi attention. “Princess Celestia is going to be in it?” Kamaki nodded her head which made Lumi smile. “Sure, I’ll be in the tournament.”

Kamaki became a little nervous when she saw Lumi’s smile, it look a little evil. “The tournament in two days maybe three so I suggest you get to know your cards and the rules, I also suggest you challenge the others so you get some experience.”

Lumi would do that, she was about to head in when… “Oh come on.” Kamaki and Lumi look oat Dash who was a little frustrated. “The two polymerization and the last lunalight fusion was at the bottom of the deck? That’s just unfair, I need those cards.”

Lumi had no idea why Dash was so angry but Kamaki knew and she could help but giggle. “That’s just how it is, sometimes you get lucky and sometimes you don’t.” It didn’t help, Dash was still frustrated.

Lumi didn’t want to ask so she headed back in while Dash handed the deck back to Kamaki who placed it back in the backpack.

Dash then asked Kamaki was she was going to do now, Kamaki decided to head back to her own world and tell Pegasus that she had found the eight duelist, they said goodbye to each other and headed in different directions. Once Kamaki was back home she told Pegasus who was dueling and which decks she had given away, then she showed Pegasus pictures of the store she found where they could sell cards, Pegasus like the store but he wanted to see it for himself so he decided to join her to Equestira the next day. The Kamaki headed back to her hotel, she needed to work on her own deck for the tournament.

It was a new day for Kamaki and new day in a world where the inhabitants is anthropomorphic ponies, she wish that it was dream she could wake up from but no, it was real. Kamaki arrived at Industrial illusions where Pegasus was waiting for her, ready to travel to pony land. Kamaki was glad he was alone and not with guards.

“Kamaki, so good to see you, are ready to travel to Equestria?” Pegasus asked in his normal happy tone.

Kamaki just walk past him. “Let’s get this over with.” She said as she activated the poral and step through it.

Pegaus was a little sad that she didn’t greet him. “What crawled up her butt this morning?” He asked himself as he walk after her into the portal.

Once Pegasus step on the grass, he could see that his sciences had managed to move the portal from the Everfree forest and into a meadow not far from the town. Kamaki on the other hand was just confused.

“What the…?” She turned to Pegasus. “What did you do to the portal?” She asked him.

“I didn’t do anything, my scientists managed to move the portal from the forest to this place.”

Kamaki gave him a blank look. “You could have told me.”

“I could but you just left before I could do, this one is on you.” Kamaki tried to think of something to say but nothing came to mind, he was right, this was her fault. Pegasus the clap his hands together. “Now, let’s see this store you found and I have been dying to see Ponyville with my own eyes.” He then walk past Kamaki who was just frozen. “Are you coming?” She managed to unfroze and she walk after him.

As the two humans walk through Ponyville some of the ponies waved at Kamaki and she waved back but they had no idea who Pegasus was, he was with Kamaki so couldn’t be dangerous. The finally arrived at the shop, Pegasus went in to have a look at it, he was glad the door was unlock, Kamaki stayed outside.

Kamaki was leaning against the wall while looking at her cards and she didn’t notice a dragon walking towards her. “Hey, Kamaki.” The human look up and saw Spike walking towards her. “How’s going?” He asked her.

Kamaki placed her cards in her pocket and crossed her arms. “I’m doing alright.”

“Cool, what are you doing by this old shop?” He asked her while looking at the building.

“I’m here with Pegasus, he wanted to have a look at it.” Kamaiki told Spike.

Spike tilted his head to the side in confusion. “Who’s Pegasus?”

As that question left Spike’s mouth, Pegasus step out. “You weren’t wrong Kamaki, this shop is perfect.” Pegasus then notice. “Wow, a real dragon and here I thought you were joking Kamaki.”

Kamki look at Pegasus with her normal boring look. “Didn’t you see him in the video when you send over the drone?” She asked him.

Pegasus shook his head. “No, we didn’t see him, he must have been inside.”

Spike just watch them talk and he had no clue what they were talking about and to be honest, he didn’t care. What he did care about was who this Pegasus was. “Excuse me.” Both humans look over at the dragon. “Just who are you?” He asked the male one.

“My, where are my manners.” Pegasus then bowed. “My name is Maximillion Pegasus and I’ the creator of Duel monsters, the game we are bringing to your world.” He stood up with a smile. “And you must be Spike, the one who Kamaki gave the Red Eyes deck to.”

Spike nodded. “Yeah, that’s me. You created Duel monster?” Pegasus just smiled. “Are you any good at the game?” Kamaki and Pegasus didn’t expected the question.

“You could say that.” Said Pegasus.

Now Spike smiled. “Want to duel?” Another question they didn’t expected.

Then Pegasus just smiled. “I would love to but I didn’t bring my deck,” He then look at Kamaki and notice she still had backpack. “but maybe Kamaki can give one of the decks she had in the backpack which she hasn’t turn in yet.”

Kamaki took of the backpack. “I knew there was something I had forgot, which one do you want?” She asked Pegasus who had to think for a moment.

“I think I will use Harpie deck.” Kamaki liked that one more than his own deck, she hated the toon monster, she found the deck and gave it to him. “Thank you.”

Then got their duel disk and got ready, then ponies around saw that another duel was to begin so they decided to watch. Some of the ponies asked Kamaki who the new human was and she told them it was the creator of Duel monster, they didn’t think Spike could win.

A crowed f ponies had gather and there was one that stood out. “Well, this should be an interesting match.” The voice scared Kamaki, it was Celestia and she was wearing normal clothes. No dress or jewelry, she look normal.

“What are you doing here?” Kamaki asked the princess.

“I’m here to challenge the other who are going to be in the tournament so I can get some experience,” That made sense. “but then I saw you and Pegasus and I thought I should say hello but Spike beat me to it.” She said as she stood beside Kamaki.

Kamaki nodded her head in understanding. “Actually, I’m glad you’re here. Can I see your deck?” She asked.

Celestia look at Kamaki with some confusion. “Why do you want to see it?” She asked the human.

“I just wanted to make some change to it, I don’t three of the cards fit your Madolche cards.” Celestia had to admit it, she was intrigued so she gave the deck to Kamaki. “Thank you.” Kamaki look through it until she found what she was looking for. “Here they are, Ash Blossom and Morphing Jar.” She took them. “I don’t understand who put these in the deck.” She placed those in her pocket and took out three new cards and placed them in the deck, she then gave it back to Celestia. “Here you are.” Celestia took it. “I just gave you Butlerusk, Chouxvalier and Marmalmaide." Celestia look at the card and she liked them, she placed them in the pocket on her jacket with a smile.

Then the duel started

Spike: 4000

Pegasus:4000

Pegasus said that Spike could go first so the dragon drew his card and the six he had was: Red eyes black dragon, Red eyes Wyvern, Red eyes retro dragon, Red eyes burn, Cards of the red stone and Red eyes spirit. Spike knew what to do. “I’m going to summon out Red eyes wyvern in attack,” Spike placed the card on the duel disk and small black dragon appeared. “and then I will set two cards face down.” He placed the two trap cards. “I end my turn.”

Pegasus could see from Spike’s opening turn that he knew what he was doing, but he wasn’t about to hold back. “I draw.” Pegasus cards was; Harpie lady, Harpie lady 1, Phantom gryphon, Harpie lady sisters, Cyber shield, and Rose whip. “I’m going to summon out Phantom gryphon in attack mode.” A gryphon appeared. “Now I will attack your wyvern.” The gryphon attack and Spike’s monster was destroyed.

Spike: 3800

Spike had a plan. “I activated the trap card Red eyes burn, since you destroyed wyvern we both take damage equal to it’s attack points” Pegasus was surprised, he didn’t see that one coming. “I end my turn.”

Spike: 2000

Pegasus: 2200

Spike drew his card and it was Red eyes baby dragon. “I’m going to summon out baby dragon in defense.” A small black dragon appeared. “Then I will activated Red eyes spirit, I can now special summon a Red eyes from my GY, I summon Wyvern in defense.” Spike had now two dragon out that was kneeling. “I end my turn.”

Pegasus drew his card and it was Icarus attack. “First, I will set on card face down.” He placed his trap. “Then I will summon out Harpie lady in atk.” A woman with feather on it’s arms appeared. “I will now equip it with Rose whip with give Harpie lady 300 atk/def.” The harpie got a whip. “Now, Haripe lady will attack your Wyvern.” The dragon was destroyed. “Then Phantom gryphon will attack your baby dragon.” That monster was destroyed. “I end my turn.”

“Since you destroyed baby dragon, I can now special summon one level seven or lower Red eyes monster from my deck.” He picked up his deck. “I summon Red eyes black dragon.” A giant black dragon appeared, Spike placed the deck back and it shuffled. “I can now equip baby dragon to it and Red eyes gains 300 atk.” It had 2700. “Attack Harpie lady.”

Pegasus was ready. “I activated the trap Icarus attack, now tribute my Harpie lady and I can now destroy your Red eyes black dragon.” Pegasus send Harpie lady to the GY, Red eyes was destroyed.

Spike was glad he didn’t normal summon right away. “Since baby dragon was send to the GY while equip to Red eyes, I can now ad one level one monster from my deck to my hand, I chose Black stone of legend. I’m not done yet, since you destroyed Red eyes, I can now special summon Red eyes retro dragon from my hand into defense mode.” A new red dragon appeared. “And since I summon out Retro dragon this way, I can now special Red eyes dragon my GY in def.” The giant dragon came back. “I will tribute Retro dragon to summon out another Red eyes black dragon.” He did that and he had now two black dragons out and Pegasus had an idea what he was going to. “I will now overlay my two Red eyes to Xzy summon Red eyes flare metal dragon.” Another black dragon appeared and this one was made off metal. “As long as Red eyes flare has material attached to it, it can’t be destroyed by card effects.” That’s not good. “Now, Flare metal dragon attack Phantom gryphon.” The monster was destroyed. “I end my turn.”

Pegasus: 1400

This time it was Kamaki’s turn to impressed on how fast Spike managed to master the Red eyes deck, he natural talent when it came to dueling.

Pegasus drew his card and it was Elegant egotist. “First I will summon out Harpie lady 1 in def,” He placed the card sideways. “then I will activated the spell card Elegant egotist. Since I have a Harpie lady on my field I am now allowed to special summon Harpie lady sisters from my hand, I place it in def.” He placed a card on the duel disk and three more monsters appeared. “I end my turn.”

“Since you activated a spell card, Flare metal dragon can now inflict you with 500 points of damage.” The dragon fire away a ball of fire that hit Pegasus.

Pegasus: 900

Spike drew his card, it was another baby dragon. “Red eyes flare metal dragon, attack his Harpie lady sisters.” The dragon attack and the sisters was destroyed.

Pegasus was hoping he did that, he drew his card and it was exactly what he needed, the tuner monster Mist valley soldier. “I will summon out Mist valley soldier and I can now tune it with Harpie lady 1 to synchro summon Cyber slash harpie lady." A brand new monster appeared. “Then I will equip it with Cyber shield, Cyber slash harpie lady now gains 500 atk.” She had now 3100

“Since you activated a spell card, you lose 500 point.”

Pegasus: 400

Pegasus didn’t really care. “Cyber slash harpie lady, attack Spike’s Red eyes flare metal dragon.” The monster was destroyed. “I end my turn.”

Spike: 1700

There was one card that could save Spike but could he draw it? He would find out, he drew Red eyes fusion and it was just what he needed. “I summon out baby dragon in def.” He did that.

Pegasus drew his card and it was Harpie lady 2. Pegasus could end this right now but he was curious if Spike could get out of this, he wanted to find out. “I summon out Harpie lady 2.” Another Harpie appeared. “Cyber slash harpie lady attack baby dragon.” She attack and the small dragon was destroyed. “Harpie lady 2, attack Spike directly.” She did. “I end my turn.” Kamaki was a little surprised that Pegasus didn’t end the duel.

Spike: 400

Spike drew Red eyes fang with chain, he didn’t need it. “Since you destroyed baby dragon, I can now special summon a level seven or lower red eyes monster from my deck, I chose Meteor dragon red eyes impact.” A new red dragon appeared. “I now summon The black stone of legend,” A red stone appeared. “then I will tribute black stone to special summon a level seven or lower red eyes from my deck, I summon Red eyes darkness metal dragon.” Another dragon appeared. “Then I will activated Red eyes fusion. A dragon that look like it was on fire appeared. “Now, Meteor black comet dragon, attack Haripe lady 2.” The dragon attack and Pegasus had lost.

After the duel the ponies that was watching went back to whatever they were doing, then there was four.

“That was an excellence duel, I can see that you have master the Red Eyes.” Pegasus said with a smile.

Spike was a little surprised that Pegasus praised him, he though he was mad at him. “You mean your not angry at be because I won?”

Pegasus was now confused. “Why would I be angry at you? You won fair and square.”

Then Celestia spoke up. “I agree with Pegasus, you won fair and square.”

That Celestia spoke took Spike and Pegasus off guard, they didn’t know she was here but then she told them she was here to challenge others to a duel, she need the experience. Then Spike walk off, he wanted to challenge Rarity to a duel.

After the dragon left, the remining three went off to see how the stadium was going and it was almost done, they managed to fir at least 150 ponies there, those with wings could use clouds. Then Pegasus asked with Celestia could help him the store that Kamaki found, he wanted to buy it so they could sell cards there, Celestia would take care of it after the tournament. Before Celestia left she told Kamaki that she wanted a reached tomorrow and Kamaki happily accepted.

After they had seen the small stadium they were budling for the tournament, Pegasus headed back to earth while Spike and Celestia went off to duel some more. Kamaki decided to stay a little long, she wanted to see how eight that had cards was doing, they were getting better.

It was almost dark when Kamaki decided to head home, she stayed a longer then she had anticipated. Kamaki tried to flirt with Octavia, it didn’t go so well, Octavia wasn’t interested.

Kamaki let out a yawn as she approached the spot to the portal, when a certain rainbow pegasus landed in front of her scaring the carp out of the human. “What the hell Dash, are you trying to give me a heart attack?” She said while trying to control her pulls, she then saw the bags under Dash’s eyes and her hair was a mess. “What happened to you?”

Dash started to pass back and forth. “I haven’t had much sleep since my duel against Lumi,” She stop and look at Kamaki. “I think I’m going crazy.”

Kamaki wasn’t sure how to respond to this. “Why do you think you’re going crazy?” She really didn’t care but she was now curious.

“I think that the monster Lunalight Cat Dancer winked at me yesterday.” Dash told the human.

Kamaki just gave her disbelief look. “I’m sorry, did you just say that Cat dancer wink at you yesterday?” Kamaki asked the pegasus who just nodded her head. “It can’t be, Dark magic girl.”

The magic appeared and Dash’s eyes widen even more. “What the hay is this?” She asked while pointing at dark magic girl. “Where did she come from and why does she look like one of the card you used in our duel?” Dash was about to lose it, she could see a human wearing some sort of wizard custom and she was floating in the air.

Kamaki and Dark magician girl didn’t not expect this. “It looks like she can see monster spirit.” Said Dark magician girl.

Kamaki rolled her eyes of what Dark magician girl said. “Thank you for that captain obvious.” The magician just gave Kamaki an annoying look, which she ignored. Kamaki then crossed her arms. “Well, this is a surprised. I never thought I would meet others that can see duel monsters spirit, especially in this world.” She then smiled. “I’m glad I’m not the only one.”

Dash then grabbed Kamaki shoulders. “This is nothing to be smiled about, I’m going crazy.” The pegasus said while shaking the human.

Kamaki managed push Dash back. “Would you calm down skittles, you’re not crazy, there nothing wrong with seeing monster spirits.” Said Kamaki while stretching out her jacket. “I can understand why you are panicking, I did that the first time.” She then crossed her arms. “Well, I was eight the first time I saw them.”

Somehow, Dash managed to calm down. “So, this is normal?” She asked Kamaki.

“As normal is for us, let me try and explain. There is another world where duel monster lives and they have the power to travel to our world,” She look over to dark magic girl. “but only on spirit form.” The magic girl just smiled. “That reminds me, Lunalight Cat Dancer.”

The all off sudden a ghostly form of Lunalight Cat Dancer appeared and Dash to panic a little. “Yes, what is you want my dear?” Cat dancer asked Kamaki.

Kamaki pointed at the nervous pegasus. “I want you to apologize to Dash, right now.” She said in somewhat threatening tone.

Cat dancer really didn’t want to make Kamaki hate her. “Alright.” She faced the pegasus. “Dash, I’m sorry that I scared you yesterday, I was just a little excide that I found someone new that could see me.” She then realized something. “Hey, why was I the first one?” That was a good question.

Kamaki had no idea. “Beat’s me, I don’t know why Dark magic girl could talk to me first. I thought about it at first but eventually I just gave up, just try and not think about it that much.”

Dash just gave Kamaki a dumbfounded look. “That’s your answer? Try and not think about it?” She yelled at the human.

Kamaki became a little annoyed. “What do you want me to say? That your special? Maybe you are special, maybe you’re not, I don’t know. I REALLY don’t know why we can see that and others can’t, I don’t have the answer.” The human had to take a few breathes to calm herself down.

Now Dash felt bad, she didn’t mean to upset Kamaki. “I’m sorry, I didn’t mean to yell. I guess I overreacted.” He ears fell, she felt bad.

Now Kamaki felt bad. “Don’t worry about it Dash, I guess I overacted to.” Kamaki held out her fist. “No hard feelings?” Dash just smiled as they gave each other a fist bump. While they did that, the two duel spirit disbarred. “If you will excuse me, I’m going to head home.” She started to walk.

Then Dash asked a question that no one expected. “Hey, is possible I can come with you to your world?”

Kamaki heart almost stop. “I’m sorry?” She turned around to face the pegasus. “You want to what now?” She wasn’t sure if she heard right so she had to ask.

Dash placed a hand behind her head. “I asked if I could come with you to the human world.” Kamaki just look at her as she had gone mad. “You know a lot of our world but we don’t know anything about your, only that the technology is way more advance the ours.” Kamaki still thought that Dash had lost her mind. “I’m curious, alright?”

Kamaki had to teak a few breaths to calm herself down, she had a pony that wanted to see her world, there was a million things that was wrong with that. “Dash, I can understand that you and others want to see my world but it’s not wise, what if another human see you and freaks out, you can get caught.” Kamaki really hope that would convince Dash to forget this idea of her.

Dash just puffed out her chest. “Oh please, I’m too fast, no one catch me.”

Kamaki just slammed a hand on her face. “Dear good, can you think with something ells than an ego?” Kamaki had to explain it in another way. “If my government see you or finds out that this world off yours exist, what do you think will happen?” Dash tried to think of an answer, Kamaki didn’t let her. “They would experiment on you and there’s a change me or Pegasus can’t help you, even my worlds leader can’t help you are an alien and they may see you as a threat.” She really hope that help.

“But I’m not a threat.” I didn’t help. “If I stay hidden then nothing will happened, right? I just want to see your world, is that so bad?”

Kamaki’s eyes started to twitch, she didn’t know what to do. Dash had a point, they didn’t know anything about earth. “I hope I won’t regret this.” She closed her eyes and took a deep breath. “Alright Dash, you can come with me to my world.” Dash was about to throw her arms in the air. “BUT,” There’s always a but. “you have to listen to everything I say. The last thing I need is the FBI knocking down my door and arrest me for bring an alien to earth.”

Dash wasn’t hurt when she was called an alien, she was one. Also, what was the FBI? She could ask later. “Sure, I will listen to whatever you say. If you say jump, I will say how high.”

Kamaki was a little surprised they had that saying in Equestria. “Now that we have that figured out, follow me.” Kamaki started to walk towards the portal and Dash followed her, she was actually skipping a little.

When they reached their destination, Kamaki took out the remote and activated the portal. Dash just watch as a blue portal appeared right in front of her, it was a little bigger than herself. “Huh, I thought it was bigger.” She wasn’t impressed. Kamaki just ignored Dash’s words as she entered the portal, leaving Dash alone. “Hey, wait for me.” She walk through the portal.

Pegasus was busy reading some data on some piece of paper when he heard the portal activated, he look at it and saw Kamaki step though it but he didn’t expect anyone else coming through, a blue pegasus with rainbow hair. “Kamaki, what is she doing here?” The others in the room had no idea what Pegasus was talking about and boy, they were surprised when they saw an anthropomorphic pony standing in the lab.

“She said she wanted to see our world considering I know a lot of her world, so I let her come if she would listen to me.” Kamaki look over at Dash who was scanning the room. “And she better listen.” She look back at Pegasus. “I will also take full responsibility.” She actually hope that Pegasus would let Dash stay.

Pegasus couldn’t believe that Kamaki would bring someone from Equestria to earth, it would be catastrophe if other humans saw the pegasus. Kamaki dear, can I talk with you in private.” They walk out of the room and Pegasus closed the door so Dash wouldn’t hear them. “Are you out of your mind? You can’t bring one of them here, what id people saw here, they would call the police and then the FBI would come and we would all go to jail.” Pegasus really hope that Kamaki would send the pegasus back.

“Can’t you just call the president? I’m sure she could help.” Said Kamaki.

“I could call her but there only one problem, she didn’t want anyone from Equestria to come here and princess Luna agree with here.” Pegasus started to rube his head. “It will be a disaster if anyone see her.”

Kamaki had to admit it, she messed up. “Should we send her back?” She asked Pegasus.

They could but it would be cruel to do it and she is already here. “Let me talk to her first.” They went back inside the gate room. They saw that Dash was just standing in the middle of the room, she look very nervous. “What’s your name?” Pegasus asked her once they entered to room.

“It’s Rainbow Dash, sir.” They didn’t expect her to say ‘sir’.

“Why did you come here?”

“I just wanted to see this world, Kamaki knows almost everything about Equestria and the only thing we know about this world is that your technology is way more advance then ours, I’m just curious.”

Pegasus knew that eventually that the ponies would want to know about earth, he just hope that it would never come. Pegasus look over at Kamaki who was as calm as ever, he envy that. “Alright,” he look back at Dash. “if you want to be here then you have to listen to Kamaki and for pete sake, stay out of trouble, the last thing I need is the FBI kicking down my door and arrest me.” He look at Kamai again. “I’m leaving her in your care, make sure nobody see her.” Kamaki did a mook salute. Pegasus then walk out of the room while saying something but it they didn’t hear what.

Dash walk over to Kamaki. “Just what is the FBI?” She was curious.

“Bad news.” Kamaki then took of the backpack and found a blue sweater with a hood and gave it to Dash. “Here, put this on.” Dash took it and study it before giving Kamaki a questionable look. “If you want to stay, then but it on and let’s hope you don’t draw to much attention.” Dash didn’t want to but she said she would do as Kamaki told her, she put on the sweater and pull up the hood. “Good. Now, let’s get back to the hotel.” They both left.

Once outside Industrial Illusions, they got in the cab that Kamaki had called. They drive to the hotel was in silence. Dash was looking out the window, she had never seen so tall budlings before and there was many humans walking in the street, how they did fit so many in this city? Kamaki was more focus on the cab driver, she didn’t want him to ask questions. The cab driver didn’t care, he was more focus on the road. Once they got to the hotel, they went in and got to the elevator with no problem.

Once they were in the elevator, Dash pull down the hood. “Damn, it’s hot with this sweater.” She then look around. “What are we riding in?” She asked Kamaki who was standing with her arms crossed.

“You don’t have elevator in Equestria?” Kamaki asked the pegasus.

“No, we don’t have ‘elevator’, we just stairs to walk up tall budlings.” That makes sense.

“An elevator is a faster way of taking the stairs and if you don't have it, then a tv is going to blow your mind.” Dash had no idea what a tv was, then she heard a bling. “Where at the floor I live in, just wait here so I can check if anyone is around.” The doors open and Kamaki walk out and look to her left/right, she saw no one. “The coast is clear, follow me.” Kamaki took a right and Dash followed her.

Lucky for them, Kamaki room was just a few feet from the elevator, she used a key card to open the door, they both walk in. the first thing Dash saw was a small hallway to hang once coat. “Just wait here a moment.” Said Kamaki walk further into the apartment, Dash saw that the human closed the curtain to the windows. “I don’t want anyone to see you.” Kamaki told Dash and it make some sense. Once all of the curatin was closed, Dash could entered the main area of the hotel room.

Dash was amazed of what she saw, the living room was twice as big as her own and there was also a kitchen connected to the living room, the furniture look expensive. “Are you rich?” Dash asked as she took of the sweater.

“No, Pegasus is the one who pays for all this.” Pegasus had to be rich, Dash thought. Kamaki walk over to the table and picked up a small black device, she then pressed something and something on the wall came alive, scaring Dash. “I guess you don’t have a tv in your world, considering how you reacted when I turn it one.” Said Kamaki as she sat down on the cough.

“No, we don’t have a ‘tv’, and what’s a tv?”

Kamaki had to think for a moment, she had to try and explain it in a way she understand. “It’s basically a device which let you see things from another part of the world, in colors.” Kamaki had no idea if that help.

“I have no idea what you just said.” It didn’t help,

“Just think of it like a magic box that bring things to life.”

“Why couldn’t you say that?” Said Dash in a frustrated tone, Kamaki just rolled her eyes. “What are you watching?” She asked as she sat down on the couch, she could see a giant stadium with a lot of humans, it kind of look like that time she was in Cloudsdale to watch the Wonderbolts. Then she saw two humans standing in the middle and they were both wearing a duel disk on their arms, both was stallion. One of them was wearing a green jacket, he had glasses and light blue hair. The other one also had a green jacket but he had a red cap on his head, he had brown hair. “Who are those two?” She asked Kamaki.

“The final in Duel monster world tournament in Tokyo and it looks like it’s between Weevil Underwood and Rex Raptor, I hate those guys.” She said with a frown.

“Why don’t you like them?” Dash asked the human.

Kamaki frown again. “It’s beacuse they are a couple off assholes.” Dash couldn’t help but wonder why Kamaki hated them so much. “I heard that if you wanted their autograph, you had to give them your rarest card. A true duelist wouldn’t do that.” Dash wasn’t that into to dueling but what Kamaki said, it was just mean and she could understand why she hated them.

The duel went on for a while and in the end, Weevil was the winner with his bug cards, Rex used dino cards.

Kamaki then turned off the tv. “That outcome didn’t surprised me, Weevil has always been the strategic while Rex always rush into his duels.”

“Why weren’t you in the tournament?” Dash asked Kamaki. “You should be good enough.”

Kamaki crossed her arms. “I didn’t enter because I prefer to duel for fun, I’m not interested in being famous. I only join small tournament. That reminds me.” She then got up and walk to another room, probably the bedroom. It didn’t take long before Kamaki return and she had a card in her hand. “Here, I want you to have this.” Kamaki handed the pegasus the card.

Dash took the card and read it. “Elemental hero Burstinatrix? They have cards that’s names elemental hero’s?” Dash asked while looking at the card, which she thought was cool. “Why are you giving this to me?” She asked the human while looking at her.

“I thought that card would fit you and I don’t used it anymore.”

Dash didn’t think she was this generous. “I’m guessing I have to buy more myself when they are on sale in Equestria, right?”

Kamaki nodded her head. “That’s right.” Then they heard a knock on the door. “Oh, the pizza I order is here. Stay here.” She told Dash as she walk to the door, Dash then heard Kamaki talk with somepony, or in this case, someone. She then arrived with the pizza, which they had in Equestria.

After they ate the pizza, which was vegetarian and pretty good, they play some more duel monsters. Kamaki had some structure decks with her, Dash lost every game but there was some duels she almost won. Then night came and they went to bed, the bed was big enough for both of them.

When they woke up the next morning they eat breakfast and headed back to Pegasus, nobody saw Dash or notice her. Once they arrived at Industrial Illusions, they saw a bunch of employers of Pegasus who was responsible for the tv’s so ponies in other cities could watch the duel, they active the portal and went through. Once they arrived in Equestria, they were meet by Celestia’s and Luna’s guard, they had they had the task to help Pegasus’s men with their equipment. Four guards was against to each city, then they headed to the train station. Some of them headed to where the tournament was so they could get everything ready. One guard told Kamaki that Celestia was waiting by the fountain in town for their duel, Kamaki and Dash headed there.

Celestia was waiting by the fountain, like the guard said and there was no guards with her, which a little weird. The entire town was there to watch the duel. Twilight and her friends was also there, when they saw Dash they demanded to know where she had been, Dash told them that she had spend the night in the human world. They were now worried that someone might had seen her but Dash told them that she is fine, no human notice her present there. Twilight wanted to know everything that Dash saw there, which didn’t surprised anyone. Dash didn’t want to tell her anything which made the unicorn pout.

Then Celestia and Kamaki got ready for their duel.

Kamaki: 4000

Celestia: 4000

Celestia was up first and her six cards was; Madolce Petingcessour, Puddingcess, Marmalmaide, Mewfeuille, Madolche Ticket and Harpie's feather duster. Celestia had no trap cards so she had to make do with what she had and she knew what to do. “First, I’m going to set one card face down.” She set Ticket. “Since I have no monster in my GY, I’m allowed to special summon Petingcessour.” She placed the card on the duel disk and Petingcessour appeared. “Since I special summon Petingcessour, I’m allowed to special summon another Madolce monster from my hand or deck, I will summon out Puddingcess from my hand.” She placed the card on the duel disk. “Since I special summon her this way, her level is reduce with 1.” That happened. “And now I will overlay my two monster to XYZ summon Queen Tiaramisu." Celestia placed the two cards on top of each other, she then placed Queen Tiaramisu on top of them. “I’m not done yet, I will now normal summon out Mewfeuille in defense mode.” A purple cat appeared, which the mare thought was unbelievably cute. “Since I normal summon Mewfeuille, I can special summon another Madolce monster from my hand but I’m not going to do that. I end my turn.”

Kamaki was impressed by what Celestia did, she managed to XYZ summon on her first turn. She have master Madolce deck. Kamaki wasn’t scared, she liked this kind of challenge.

Kamaki drew her card and her hand was; Berry magician girl, Mythical beast Cerberus, Sage of Silence, Spellbook of Wisdom, Spellbook of Knowledge, and Magicians defense. It was not her best hand, but she could work with it. “I’m going to placed one card face down.” That was her trap card. “Then I will summon out Berry magician girl in atk mode.” Kamaki placed the card on the duel disk and a monster that look like a baby appeared. “Since I normal summon Berry magician girl, I can now ad a magician girl monster from my deck to my hand.” She searched her deck. “I chose my Dark Magician girl." Kamaki then placed the deck back and it shuffled, she then placed her card in her hand. “I end my turn.”

Celestia had no idea why Kamaki play a monster with only 400 atk points, she would find out. She drew her card and it was Hootcake. “I’m going to summon out Hootcake in atk.” She did that. “And now, Hootcake will attack your Berry magician girl.” The owl flew towards Kamaki’s monster.

Kamaki was ready. “I activated Berry magician girl effect, I can now switch her to defense.” She did that. “I can now special summon another magician girl from my deck, I chose Chocolate magician girl." She found the card and placed it in defense. Berry magician was still destroyed.

“Now Queen Tiaramisu, attack Chocolate.” The queen went into action.

“I now will activated Chocolate magician girl ability, since she is target for an attack, I can now special summon a spellcaster from my GY, I chose Berry magician girl effect in defense.” The monster came back. “Now she will be the target and your Queen attack points will be cut in half.” Queen Tiaramisu attack Berry and destroyed it.

Celestia was a little irritated of what Kamaki did. “I end my turn.”

Kamaki drew her card and it was something she needed, Witch of the Black rose. Kamaki couldn’t help but smile. “First I’m going to tribute Chocolate so I can summon out my Dark magician girl.” She send Chocolate to the GY and placed Dark girl on the duel disk. “Then I will summon out Witch of the black rose.” A monster in a black/purple dress appeared, she was also holding a rod. “And now, I will tune my Witch of the black rose with my Dark magic girl to synchro summon Ascension Sky Dragon." A Giant white dragon with blue fins appeared. “Since I synchro summon him, he gains 800 atk for each card I have in my hand, I have four so that means 3200 at points.” That happened. “Ascension sky dragon, attack Celestia’s Queen Tiaramisu.” The dragon attack with a beam and Tiaramisu was gone. “I end my turn.”

Celestia: 3000

Celestia was in trouble, she didn’t have a monster that was strong enough to take out that dragon, but lucky for her she had a spell card, she hope she could draw it. Celestia drew her card and it was the card she need. “I’m going to switch Mewfeuille to attack.” Kamaki couldn’t help but wonder why she did that. “Then I will activated Raigeki, which destroys ever monster on your side so say goodbye to your dragon.” Lighting came from above and destroyed Ascension sky dragon, Kamaki couldn’t believe that Celestia drew Raigeki. “Mewfeuille and Hootcake, attack Kamaki directly.” Both monsters did that. “I will end my turn by placing one monster face down.” She placed Marmalmaide.

Kamaki: 2000

Kamaki drew her card and it was Dwimmered path. “I’m going to summon out Mythical beast Cerberus.” She placed the card on the duel disk and a blue/purple wolf appeared. “then I will activated Dwimmered path, this card let me target a spellcaster effect monster in my GY and ad it to my hand, I will take back my Dark magic girl.” She took the card and placed it in her hand. “And since I activated a spell card, Cerberus gains a counter and his atk points raised by 500.” The wolf atk points was now 1900. “Cerberus will attack your Mewfeuille.” The monster was destroyed. “I end my turn.” Then Cerberus attack point became normal.

Celestia: 1600

“Since you destroyed Mewfeuille by battle, it get shuffled back to my deck.” Celestia placed the card in the deck and it shuffled. “I will now activated the spell card Madolce Ticket, since I send a Madolce monster to my deck, I can now add a Madolce monster from my deck to my hand,” She found the card, Magileine. She then drew her card and it was Ice Dragon's prison, she could use this. “First, I’m going to set one card face down.” That was her trap. “Then I will activated Harpie’s feather duster which let me destroy every spell and trap card on your side.” A wind blew up and destroyed Kamaki’s trap. “Then I will summon Magileine,” A which came out and she was riding a broom. “since I normal summon her, I can add a Madolce monster from my deck to my hand.” She found the card, Butlerusk. “Hootcake will attack Cerberus.”

Kamaki just smiled. “Bad mistake Celestia.” The princess had no idea why Kamaki said that. “Since you activated two spell cards, Cerberus gets to counters and his attack point goes up by another 500.” Kamaki wasn’t lying, Cerberus atk became 2400 and the beast destroyed Hootacke, Cerberus atk became normal.

Celestia: 700

Celestia felt a little dump, but she had a plan to fix it, she hope. “I end my turn.”

Kamaki drew her card and it was Bound wand. “I’m going to tribute Cerberus to bring out my Dark magic girl one more time.” She did that. “And then I will equip her with Bound wand,” DMG got a new wand. “now she will gain atk points equal to her level. Since Dark magic girl is level 6, she gains 600 atk points.” DMG atk was now 2600. “She will now attack your Magileine.” DMG fired away a red beam from the wand.

Celestia was ready. “I activated a trap, Ice Dragon’s prison.” Kamaki had no idea what that card did. “I can now target one monster in your GY and special summon it to my side but its effect is negated, I chose your Chocolate magician girl.” Kamaki got the card and threw it over to Celestia who placed it on her duel disk. “Now for the best part, I get to banish 1 monster from each players field that has the same type, I banish Chocolate magician girl which means you have to banish Dark magic girl, I now don’t take any damage.” Both did that and Celestia did not take any damage.

Kamaki was in trouble. “I will normal summon sage of silence in def.” She placed the card on the duel disk and a human which was now kneeling. “Then I will activated Spell book of knowledge, by sending another spell book to the GY, I get to draw two cards. I send Spell book of wisdom to the GY.” She then drew her two cards and it was Ebon magician curran and Mirror force. “I set one card face down and end my turn.” She placed her trap card in the duel disk.

Celestia drew her card and it was Messengelato. “I will summon out Messengelato.” “ A human boy that look like delivering letters came out. “Messengelato will attack your sage of silence.”

“I activated mirror force,” Celestia knew what that card did. “all your monster are now destroyed.” That happened and Celestia could only end her turn.

Kamaki drew her card but it didn’t matter what it was, she switch Sage of silence to atk mode and attack Celestia, the sun princess had lost again.
