We got off the the train at the Crystal Empire. "This is awesome! I'll never get tired of coming here" I said as we made our way to the palace. "hooowee, your first Princess summit, you must be over the moon Twilight" said Applejack as we arrived.
"Oh I am excited, but to be honest I am a little nervous too" said Twilight. "You're nervescited, it's when you wanna jump up and down and say YAY ME! But you also wanna curl up in a teeny tiny ball and hide at the same time, we've all been there" said Pinkie. "I'm there almost every day" said Fluttershy. "You've got no reason to fret Twi, everything's gonna be just..." said Applejack before she was interrupted by Rarity. "Twilight! Oh sorry darling, but i just realized you're not wearing your crown, you haven't forgotten it back in Ponyville have you?" Asked Rarity holding Twilight's face. "It's in my bag" said Twilight while Spike patted her bag. "I just feel a little self-conscious about wearing it, haven't really gotten accustomed to these yet either" said Twilight flapping her wings trying to fly, only to fall flat on the ground. "You are a Princess now Twilight, embrace it, I'm telling you if I had a crown like that, I would never take it off, why I'd sleep in the thing" said Rarity.
---later in the palace ---
We all walked in to the sound of fanfare. And Twilight wasn't looking where she was going so she bumped into Equestria's flash sentry. He looked a little surprised, then got over it and got back to what he was doing. "Her highness Princess Twilight Sparkle" announced flash sentry.
"Twilight I haven't seen you since the coronation" said Cadence with a smile. "We have so much to discuss, but it can wait until tomorrow, you all look tired from your journey, now off to bed all of you" said Princess Celestia. The mane 6 got excited and began talking amongst themselves.
---later that night---
I was sitting in my room reading a book while waiting for sunset shimmer to arrive and make her move. Then I heard a ruckus outside my room. "Showtime!" I said with glee.
Since I already new the backstory I waited In the room with the mirror. They arrived after a few minutes. "This is no ordinary mirror, it is a gateway to another world, a gateway that opens once every thirty moons" Explained Luna. "Sparkly" said Pinkie messing with it. "Wait, thirty moons? Im still unsure how time is managed here but to me thirty moons is only a month!?! I said with confusion. They just ignored my comment. "It has always been kept in the throne room of Canterlot castle, but when Princess Cadence took over the Crystal Empire we sent it here for her to watch over" explained Luna. "Let me take a wild guess Celestia, you were thinking that sunset shimmer would eventually come back to seek your guidance, but instead she came back to steal Twilight's crown" I said with crossed arms. Celestia only nodded sadly.
"Twilight you must use the mirror to go into this other world and retrieve your crown, without it the other elements of harmony have no power and Equestria is left without its most important means of defense" said Cadence. Twilight only nodded. Her friends looked to each other. "Your crown does not belong in the place sunset shimmer now calls home and in her possession your element of harmony will no doubt be used to bring harm to the inhabitants of this other realm they will not have the power to defend themselves" said Luna with a frown.
Twilight looked in the mirror as Celestia gave her her saddle bags. "You understand the importance of your task?" Asked Celestia. "Of course" replied Twilight. "Good then you must go at once" said Celestia. Twilight took a deep breath and exhaled then took a step forward, only for Rainbow to block her path. "Woah, woah, woah, if she's going we're going with her" said Rainbow Dash as all Twilights friends gathered next to Rainbow Dash. "Oooh, I'm so nervicited" said Pinkie. "You do realize thats not a real word right?" Said Applejack. Twilights eyes welled up with tears of joy.
"I'm afraid I can't let you go" said Celestia. "What! why not?" Asked Rainbow. "Sending all of you could upset the balance of this alternate world creating havoc that would make it impossible for Twilight to get the crown back from sunset shimmer, this is something Princess Twilight must do alone" said Celestia. "Time is of the essence, on the third day, when the moon reaches it's peak in the night sky, the gateway will close, and once it does it'll be another thirty moons before you will be able to use it to return" said luna. I used my magic to make a copy of my phone so I would have an extra. Twilight got words of encouragement from her friends and she stepped up to the mirror putting a hoof in, jerking it back and looking to us all. Twilight walked through the mirror and I knew Spike was going to run in after her, so right as he got close to me I snatched him up and ran for the mirror myself. "Spike, Mamoru, NO!" They said as me and Spike went through.
"Uh Twilight" Spike said. "Spike, you're not supposed to..... Spike are you a dog!?!" Said Twilight. "Yes he is, and you're human, glad we got that covered" I said as I put my goggles on my forehead. Twilight looked at her new hands. "AAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAHHH" screamed Twilight. "GIRL WILL YOU QUIT SCREAMIN' IN MY EAR!" I yelled at Twilight. Twilight started panicking. "Twilight calm down its not that bad" I said. Twilight looked at me. "Easy for you to say, the only thing different with you is your eyes" she said. I just deadpanned and raised an eyebrow. "Ok, then you can do whatever you want then, I'm going to explore the town, I'm gonna catch up with you later, here this is a cell phone, I made a copy of mine before I came through, all you have to do is turn it on and say call Mamoru, and it'll call me on mine" I said giving Twilight the phone and explaining how to use it and showing her mine. I got up and walked away. I walked to a bus stop and waited for the bus. My phone began ringing. I picked it up and answered in my best impression of a receptionist. "Hello Mamoru Shinigami, how can I help you?" I said on my phone. "Aaah" was the only thing I heard then I heard her drop the phone. "What do you want Twilight?" I asked annoyed. "Upside down" I said. "Oops, sorry" said Twilight on the other end. "I was just checking to see if it worked" she said. "Ok, now here's another lesson for your phone, you see the green button on your screen to the right, thats to answer a call" I said. "Uh, huh" said Twilight. "Ok, you see that red button in the screen on the left, that is to end the call" I said while hanging up. Moments later the bus arrived. I checked my wallet and it was filled with cash, cash I didn't know I had, there had to be $60,000 in it maybe more. I took out a twenty as I got on the bus. I payed the fare charge and took my seat. There were a couple weirdos across from me, but that is to be expected when you ride a bus. One guy was wearing pants, just pants nothing else, I was glad it wasn't just a shirt. That thought made me cringe. I happily got off the bus near a bank. I walked in and opened up an account and set it up so it would gather interest over time. I deposited at least $70,000, yet I still had more, so I decided to keep the rest in my wallet. Not sure where it all came from so I decided it must be like how I never run out of knives, grenades, and bullets, weird cartoon magic.
The bank gave me a credit card and I sighed a few documents, then they left me on my way. If I saved up I was going to make filthy rich look like a hobo. I walked out of the bank and walked to another bus stop. Soon enough the bus arrived, luckily it was a different bus, so no shirtless guy. I got on, payed the fare and got to my seat, then I looked over and saw a fat dude in a tiny bikini, which made me cringe even more than last time.
The bus stopped near a car dealership. But I wasn't going to buy a car, I wanted a motorcycle. I made a cheshire grin as I saw my target.

I walked over to it and stared at it. Then like a normal shark tracking its prey it struck. "Hello sir, are you here to buy" asked one of the dealers. I knew their game, luckily I knew how to win it. I decided to play dumb. "Uuummm, I dunno, doesn't look worth the effort" I said trying my hardest not to seem interested. "Well, how about a test drive, maybe that might convince you?" He asked taking my bait. "Hmm, alright why not" I said keeping up the facade of disinterest. "Excellent I'll go get the key" he said walking away. I just stared at the bike with a blank look, but on the inside, I was smiling ear to ear.
Moments later, the guy came back and started a whole Spiel about how great it was. Which I already knew. I just kept a blank look on my face until he finished. "So sir would you like to ride?" He asked. "Yeah sure, whatever" I said with my blank look. "Wonderful" Exclaimed the dealer as I got on. He left and came back with a pair of helmets. He put his on and a gave him a look that chilled him to his core, which made him put the other helmet down. I put my goggles down to my eyes and started up the motorcycle. The dealer got on behind me and I put his arms around my waist. "You might wanna hold on tight, in the right hands this thing can zoom!" I said. I put on the Bluetooth and picked a song.

He held on tighter. We roared out of the dealer ship and rode all over town, a few police started chasing us so I went into full on commando mode, I took a sharp turn to the right. I turned left into an alleyway. I rode out of the alley and to the next street. I decided that would be enough excitement for the dealer for one day, because he was squeezing my waist with a vice grip. I rode back to the dealership and parked the bike out front. I was about to get off but the dealer was frozen from fear. "You can let go now, test drive is over" I said not trying to hide my annoyance. He let go and slowly got off. I got off as well. "It rides pretty good, I'll take it" I said to the dealer. "Great" he said before turning around and fainting. I brought my goggles up, looked at the dealer and chuckled. "Hey this guy feinted, oh and wet himself, can anyone else help me here?" I said aloud. A few guys came over and carried the guy away. "Alright sir, you ready to buy" said another dealer. "Sure, why not" I said. "Excellent, come with me please" he said leading me into an office. I signed a few things and payed with cash. I shook his hand he gave me the keys, and I left his office.
I got on my new motorcycle and rode towards the school. It was nighttime when I arrived so I parked it and got off. I walked into the school and made my way to the library cuz that's where I knew Twilight would be. And I would know that even if I didn't know the future.
I found where she was sleeping and I couldn't wake her so I just went to the wall opposite to where she was. I got down to sit with my back to the shelves. I got comfortable and went to sleep.
The next morning I woke up before Twilight. I had the most evil thought pop up in my brain. I took out my phone and began searching for reveille. I found it and turned my volume to the max. And played the music.

As soon as the music started blasting, Twilight and Spike woke up fast. "ON YOUR FEET YOU MAGGOTS" I yelled in my best drill sergeant impression. They both stood at attention which made me laugh super hard. "BA HAHAHAHA, priceless" I laughed. "Mamoru, what the hey?" Asked Twilight. "Its time to wake up you two!" I said. I got up and stretched. "Why did you have to wake us up like that?" asked Spike. "Oh, I didn't have to, I just wanted to see the looks on your faces when I played reveille very loud while you were asleep" I said with an evil grin. "You have issues dude" Said Spike. "Yup, now come on we got stuff to do" I said. Twilight got ahead of me and started talking with spike. I just tuned them out.
As we were walking through the hall students started laughing at Twilight. Then this world's Rarity pulls Twilight into a classroom. I walked over to the other door and walked in to see Twilight wearing a different outfit. I closed the door behind me. "Green is definitely not your color" I said making Rarity look in my direction. "Who are you, this is private" said Rarity. "I'm her bodyguard as far as you are concerned" I said crossing my arms.
Then in came Applejack. "There you are Twilight" said Applejack. "So much for the disguise" said Rarity with a grumpy pout. "I've been lookin' all over for ya" said Applejack while walking in. "Me too" said Fluttershy. "Me three" said Pinkie popping up upside down in the doorframe. "I like your new look" said Pinkie. "I do have an eye for these sorts of things, not that you seem to care" replies Rarity. "What!?!" Said Pinkie. "Why do you think she doesn't care" asked Twilight getting a few negative gestures from Applejack. Pinkie was getting steamed, I'm pretty sure I can actually hear steam whistling. "Oh never mind, why were you all looking for me? What's going on?" Asked Twilight. "Oh she hasn't seen it yet" said Fluttershy. "Seen what?" Asked Twilight still confused. "You are not going to like it" I said announcing my presence. They all looked at me in surprise. I just raised an eyebrow. "Ooooh, Who are you?" Asked Pinkie. "Mamoru Shinigami, most call me The Dark One, I'm friends with Twilight, I came here with her, my motorcycle's out front" I said gesturing with my thumb. "Continue, pretend like I'm not here" I said.
Pinkie placed down her laptop and incriminating images of Twilight were showing. "Mud-flinging, oldest political tactic there is" I said making them all look at me. I just looked at them and backed up to the wall.
"Has everyone at the school seen this? Is that why they were all looking at me that way?" Said Twilight looking embarrassed and sinking into her chair. "What am I going to do?" said Twilight. "I'll tell you what your gonna do, you are going to win them over by doing your best" I said. "I'll vote for you, you were so nice to me when sunset shimmer was picking on me the other day" said Fluttershy. "If you still wanna run, maybe there's something I can do to help" said Pinkie. "Word of advice don't accept her help, she doesn't take anything seriously" said Fluttershy."uh, why do you have to be so awful to me" said Pinkie.
"Don't play innocent Pinkie Pie, you are no better than she is" said Rarity. "And what is that supposed to mean?" Asked Pinkie. "I am happy to offer my assistance as well, to someone who would appreciate what I have to offer" Yelled Rarity getting in Pinkies face.
They all started arguing. I got angry and my right eye twitched. "Enough" I said knocking them all down with a shockwave. "Woah, I didn't think I could do that here, anyway Twilight you explain their situation" I said.
"Let me show you something, you were friends once" said Twilight pulling out a yearbook. "The freshman fair, y'all remember?" Asked Applejack. "Yes" they all said. "But something happened, I think that something was sunset shimmer" said Twilight. "Theres no doubt about it that sunset shimmer set you all up and pitting you against each other, it does kinda fit her MO" I said. "Well its a nice theory darling, but sunset shimmer had nothing to do with it" said Rarity. "She's right, sunset shimmer isn't the one that ruined my silent auction for the animal shelter by bringing fireworks and noisemakers, huh, it was supposed to be a serious event and Pinkie Pie ruined it" said Fluttershy. "What are you talking about? I got a text from you saying you didn't want a silent auction, you wanted a big party" said Pinkie checking her phone. "I never sent you a text" said Fluttershy. "You didn't" said Pinkie confused. "I'm gonna go wait for you all to settle this cuz right now I'm apparently invisible" I said walking out. I decided to walk to the soccer field. I found Rainbow Dash practicing. I walked onto the bleachers and took a seat.
Later the girls came and talked things out. I just zoned out and didn't hear a word they were saying. So I got up and went to my motorcycle. I did a little inspection and hopped on revved it up and rode off.
I arrived at the Sugarcube Corner of this world. I ordered a vanilla milkshake and fries. Then I got my food and took a seat at a table. Then in came the girls. I took a fry and dipped it int my shake. Don't be like that I know you do it too. I didn't listen to anything they said, but they talked for hours. Eventually they finished talking and left. I decided to leave too, I needed to rent a tux.

I had my tux. Then I rode off to the school. I walked inside and found that the party was getting ready. So I helped with streamers, and balloons. Soon it was party time.
I was having a wonderful time. Then of course sunset shimmer had to ruin it by stealing Spike. I made it through the school and saw sunset shimmer by the portal with a sledgehammer. "Uh oh" I said to myself.
"That's close enough" said sunset shimmer. We all know what's going to happen so I'm gonna skip ahead a bit.

They all played a game of keep away with the crown while I made popcorn and watched and enjoyed the show. "Ok now its time for me to help out" I said when Sunset Shimmer got the crown. I ran over to Twilight. "This is not good" I said.
"Finally, at last, more power than I could ever imagine" said Sunset Shimmer as she put on the crown. It sparked dark magic and changed her into an evil she-demon. She laughed maniacally and turned snips and snails into demons as well. I began to feel a great power within me, coming from a very dark place, and I liked it, I let it fester and boil inside, but I'm not going to use it just yet, so I'm just going to push it down and let it build. I'm not going to release my ace in the hole just yet.
"I've had to jump through so many hoops just to get my hands on this crown, and it really should have been mine all along, but let's let bygones be bygones, I am your Princess now, and you will be loyal to me!" Said Sunset Shimmer while ripping out the wall of the school. She flew in and turned all the students into brainwashed zombies.
"Round them up and bring them to the portal" said Sunset ordering snips and snails. "Spoiler alert, I was bluffing when I said I was going to destroy the portal, I don't want to rule this pathetic little high school, I want Equestria, and with my own teenage army behind me I'm going to get it" said Sunset. "No your not" said Twilight trying to be a hero. "Oh please, what exactly do you think your going to do to stop me? I have magic and you have nothing!" Said Sunset as her hair burst into flames. "She has us" said Rainbow. "And she has me" I said drawing my katanas. Twilight smiled and Sunset growled. We all gathered together with Twilight to hold the line. "Hahaha, gee the gang really is all back together again, now step aside, Twilight has tried to interfere with my plans one to many times already, she must be dealt with" said Sunset making a ball of magic to throw at Twilight. We all gather around Twilight to protect her. "Hahaha.... what?" Sunset says in surprise. We were all ok. "The magic contained in my element was able to Unite with those who helped create it" said Twilight. The magic in the element began to transform Twilight and her friends and I began to unleash my full power.
Twilight named the elements and I joined in with my own. "Darkness, chaos, fear" I said turning into my monstrous form for the first time. "Together with the crown, they create a power beyond anything you could imagine, but it is a power you don't have the ability to control, the crown may be above your head Sunset Shimmer but you cannot weild, because you do not possess the most powerful magic of all, the magic of friendship!" Said Twilight as her friends and I formed a heart around her and hit her with the full force of our magic. In the form of Rainbow lasers. "Here and in Equestria it is the magic that can truly unite us all" said Twilight. Then all the damage done was fixed Sunset, snips and snails were changed back to normal, and the students were freed.
We all woke up a little later. I changed my form back to to normal. Sunset was in a huge crater. "You will never rule in Equestria, any power you may have had in this world is gone, tonight You've shown everyone who you really are, you have shone them what is in your heart" said Twilight gesturing to the crowd. "I'm sorry, I'm so sorry, I didn't know there was another way" said Sunset crying. "The magic of friendship isn't just in Equestria, its everywhere" said Twilight. "Its in every one" I said. "You can seek it out, or you can forever be alone the choice is yours" said Twilight. Sunset crawled out of the crater. "But all I've ever done being here is drive them apart, I don't know the first thing about friendship" said Sunset still crying. Twilight pulled Sunset up. "I bet the can teach you" said Twilight gesturing to her friends. After that I jumped to the roof. Since I had my power, might as well use it. I watched them mingle a bit, then they all went inside, and I followed. Right about now I'm sure I'd be hearing the song this is our big night. And I actually heard it. I saw Twilight dancing like a pony, and flash sentry joined her. I did the shuffle. Then I free-styled a bit. Twilight was going to do a photo with her friends.... which I photobombed. Then it was time to leave. Twilight said her goodbyes. And Twilight seemed to have forgotten I was here.
Twilight went through the portal and her friends went back to normal. I ran to the portal, as did Pinkie. "Oh, Bummer" said Pinkie. I got up and fell to my knees. "No, no, no, no, DANG IT TWILIGHT, YOU LEFT ME BEHIND!" I said throwing my fists in the air. "Mamoru why are you still here" asked Pinkie. I just froze and got up slowly and turned around, they all seemed startled. I looked to each of them. I took out a compact mirror, yes I have a compact mirror get over it, I looked at my eyes. They were back to being black scera and green irises. I put the mirror away. "Well at least my eyes are back to normal" I said putting my goggles down. "Normal? They are all black where white should be" said Rainbow Dash. "That's how they looked in Equestria, I look exactly the same in Equestria as I do here, it wasn't a huge transition for me like it was for Twilight" I said. "It seems that with the element coming into this world, maybe it has a little bit of magic in it now" I said while stroking my chin. "And since I'm here, I can finally be around other human beings" I said. "I'm gonna go help Sunset Shimmer with the repairs" I said walking away. I approached Sunset Shimmer. "Need a hand" I asked. She looked at me. I could tell she was feeling guilty. I grabbed a cement trowel and put down cement and grabbed a brick and laid it down. "It gets better you know" I said to her. "What?" She asked. "This feeling you have right now, I've felt it, it gets better" I said making her smile. "So she is still able to smile how bout that" I said returning the smile. "Thank you" she said. "You're welcome" I said. I laid down another bit of cement and another brick. "What's your name?" Asked Sunset. "Mamoru Shinigami, most call me The Dark One" I said. "Who calls you that" asked Sunset. "No one just me, Just say it to try to unnerve the ponies" I said. "Does that work" asked Sunset. I put down a few more bricks and cement. "Not all the time, but I try to make myself sound dark and Mysterious, you know, try to seem charming" I said. "That sounds kind of cheesy" said Sunset. I lifted my goggles and looked up to her. "I suppose, but these eyes seem to have the desired effect" I said. "Creepy" She said. "Is that normal for you?" She asked while helping me by laying down another brick. "Pretty much, yeah" I said. "I kind of like your eyes, they seem cool" said Sunset Shimmer making me look at her and smile. "Let's hurry and finish this up and maybe we can get dinner later" I said. "Sure, I'd like that" she said with a smile, which I returned.
