It had been hard enough, being one of the first. With the walls dropped, leaving her nation, her herd, traveling to Japan and trying to exist among so many strangers... every day had been a challenge. But she'd tried. Day by day, hoofstep by hoofstep, she'd felt she was finding her place in the human world.

But now there are no humans. No other demis or liminals. Nothing to anchor her. She exists among tiny horses and the scent of their fear, or at least what little of it drifts into her cell.

For nopony can look at a centaur and see anything but a monster.

Apple Bloom is an undead ghoul, but that's OK. She's finally come to terms with her condition, and is determined to rise above her curse.

Sweetie Belle is a robot, but that's OK. With manual in hoof, she's prepared to learn everything she can about herself, and whatever the future holds.

Scootaloo is a changeling, but that's OK. Changelings are citizens now, and she's ready to do her part to show the world changelings can be friendly too.

Together, the three of them are getting by, one day at a time. They may never get their cutie marks, but that's not going to stop them from having fun, finding their talents, and maybe even going a week without causing massive amounts of property damage. Maybe.

Meanwhile, Babs Seed is still blissfully unaware of the unusual destiny that awaits her, Diamond Tiara is slowly finding her place in the world, and Ponyville is still the weirdest town in Equestria. But then again, what else is new?

Where they face new enemies & challenges, & if they don't escape & return to their bodies, they will remain trapped in a state to never awake from. Princess Luna has many responsibilities, she raises the Moon at night, she watches over Equestria in the night... and she guards the dreams of troubled ponies. Making sure Nightmares couldn't take hold for long in any pony under her care. What most ponies don't realize is how serious this duty is. Nightmare's aren't just fears that gain form in your dreams, they are beings that prey upon troubled ponies as they sleep. Luckily, Luna protected Equestria from this threat quite well over her rule... but during her thousand year banishment no one was there to stop the Nightmares from growing, from spreading. She returns to find the dreams of her ponies miraculously intact, but she couldn't understand why. Nightmares still existed, but..... something else had been fighting them in her absence. Enter the world of dreams, and it's new protector, a strange being called NiGHTS. Together the Princess and the former Nightmaren battle the forces of fear that wish to destroy the dreams of ponies.~~~~
A NiGHTS/MLP crossover. I'm terrible at the games myself, but I find myself in love with the music, the backstory, and the characters, even if I can't go through the levels. I'm not sure where this story will go, but hey, with best Princess and best sega character, who can go wrong? Tags might be added as the story progresses and changes.

Drone 319, Queen Chrysalis's top spy in Ponyville, finds himself hovering over Ciderfest tied to a balloon. Why? He doesn't know. When asked what he's doing, he says the first thing that comes to mind to keep his cover.

"I'm a Zeppelin."
