Chapter 20: Find NiGHTS & Octopaw Chase 3
The scene slowly shows Rainbow Dash, Rarity and Fluttershy gently falling across the starry night skies. It wasn’t long before the gang soon managed to land within the parts of it being none other than Dream Gate. After their latest adventure in freeing NiGHTS & stopping Queen Bella, Rainbow’s Team will need to get ready to return for more. At that same moment, Owl was seen flying nearby to welcome back those that have return here.
“Hoo-hoo, well done. I see you have resolve that which left you uncertain of things.” Owl smiled off to say this in seeing that Rainbow’s Team have overcome something that gave them problems.
“Wait, resolve…are you talking about…?” Rainbow Dash yelped upon hearing that, and thought if the old owl meant…about the issue with NiGHTS.
“The matter about NiGHTS being a Nightmaren?” Rarity concluded off to cut her friend off in what they learn about NiGHTS not telling them who the jester really was.
“Yes, however, the choice of what the case you wish to believe in…is yours alone. Trust NiGHTS as what she is, or what NiGHTS has shown.” Owl nods off while speaking a wise advice to which it’s better to trust one’s actions than of one’s species of origin.
“Well, we did have doubts, but…no more, actually.” Fluttershy stated to say this in what they have learn thus far from knowing NiGHTS can be trusted as their friend.
“That is all well in good, to know.” Owl nods off to say in stating what he’s heard from this group. “Now listen closely. The forest over yonder is filled with the memories within your heart, Fluttershy.” Owl issued forth to tell Fluttershy this about the Memory Forest.
“It is?” Fluttershy replied off puzzled, she didn’t know about that?
“Oh my, I wonder…what could it mean?” Rarity gasped in pondering what sorta over yonder of the forest has more memories from her friend.
“Heck if I know, probably means it’s filled with memories of kindly caring for animals or something.” Rainbow Dash shrug off to say in pretty much guessing at this moment in what relates to Fluttershy.
“Hmm…This, too, is a sign of the Ideya’s power. The Ideya must be within that forest.” Owl hummed to himself in pondering that perhaps this was a sign saying the next Ideya was in the yonder point of the forest.
“You really think so Owl?” Rarity asked off in thinking if that was the case, the fourth Ideya must be in that place.
“Yes, but to obtain it, you must seek it and help the world itself. Until then, good luck to you all.” Owl commented to say that to gain the Ideya, they must obtain it by a means of helping the Memory Forest.
And then like always, Owl vanished into thin air without a trace of him to be seen which left many lost for words in seeing that old disappearing act of his.
“He really likes doing that vanish thing.” Rainbow Dash rolled her eyes in seeing how much Owl likes to do that vanish thing of his.
“Well then every pony, shall we be off? What say you Fluttershy?” Rarity asked her group in what they shall do now, even to ask the one who made her own dream world.
“Oh, I’m ready to go, yes indeed.” Fluttershy nodded off in feeling a bit eager to get going herself.
“Then let’s go, go, go!” Rainbow Dash cheered off in having a good attitude to go straight on off on their next trip to Memory Forest.
Soon the ponies approach the Door that would lead them to Memory Forest here. And from opening the doors, a bright white light shine out from beyond it. Then as the ponies were going through it, the doors began to close behind them. As the scene fades out, we all know where they’ll end up being in, and so now…the next adventure begins now….

The scene opens up to where we find some part within the Memory Forest, that seems more wood and trees are around and seem to block off some sunlight. At the moment, we find a floating NiGHTS was traveling with Rainbow Dash, Rarity and Fluttershy in these woods. They all knew of the situation, that if an Ideya was yonder over in the part of Memory Forest, then it resides deep in what was Fluttershy’s heart. So they must go very deep in order to find what they seek, but trade along carefully.
“These woods sure are dark.” NiGHTS commented off in looking around the woods, the leaves in the trees cover the sun to make it dark. “The enemy could be hiding just about anywhere. Be on your toes, Rainbow, Rarity, Fluttershy.” NiGHTS gave a warning of caution in looking to her friends with advice in what to expect when dealing with the unexpected.
“We would, if we had toes.” Rainbow Dash rolled her eyes to make a little joke about ponies not having toes.
“Now’s not the time for jokes, Rainbow.” Rarity stated to her friend to can the jokes when this is serious.
As everyone was scouting the area, Fluttershy seem to feel something that earn her attention then rather the enemy. At that same moment, the background was playing ‘Precious Orgel’ during the moment.
“These woods…these trees….” Fluttershy spoke off to say in approaching the trees while her pony friends saw her moving and NiGHTS was being ahead of the rest.
“Hey, what’s up Fluttershy?” Rainbow Dash asked off in seeing her friend was doing something.
“Something the matter?” Rarity asked off in not knowing what Flutterhsy was up to.
“You’ll think it’s strange, but…I think my family came here on a picnic once when I was younger.” Fluttershy spoke off to mention this that this place, reminds her of her family of what they did.
“Your family?” Rarity spoke off to say in actually gasping at the thought.
“Hugh, this is something new to hear.” Rainbow Dash raised an eyebrow in having heard this come out so suddenly.
Fluttershy approached the lust green trees nearby and lift up her left hoof to touch it…as if being filled with memories of wonderful things from her past.
“My mother got our lunch ready…and I played hide-and-seek with my father…and…” Fluttershy was closing her eyes to imagine something, as it was coming in clear to her; enough for her to smile.
“Fluttershy! It’s almost lunchtime!” Then suddenly, a woman’s voice was calling out to Fluttershy which made the yellow Pegasus yelp in surprise to hear the voice of…her mother!
But as Fluttershy turn around with a happy expression to see if the one she remembers was behind her…there was instead nothing. Nothing but a fence of some little stock of Nightopians that live in the dream world Fluttershy created. Everything that is here, but yet…not ALL things from the heart can be physically present. At that same moment, the background theme was cease being heard at this moment.
“Hey, ugh…Fluttershy?” Rainbow Dash asked slowly in seeing something was a bit off now.
“Are you alright, darling?” Rarity also asked in feeling that her friend was expecting to see something.
“That’s right…” Fluttershy slowly responded in feeling a little disappointed at the moment. “This is Nightopia…the dream world of my memories.” She admitted that this was not the real world of Equestria, but a place from her dream world.
“Darling, whatever is the matter? You seem to be spacing out on us?” Rarity asked in sensing some distress from her friend.
“I thought….I heard my mother’s voice.” Fluttershy slowly spoke in what she heard just now.
“YOUR MOTHER?” Rarity yelled out in being surprised to hear something about Fluttershy’s mother.
“Hugh, it be something to see anyone from back home physically here.” Rainbow Dash pondered to think if they see anyone from their world here besides the rest of the Mane Six.
“Never mind me, we should be looking for the Ideya, right?” Fluttershy spoke in getting back on track of what’s important here.
“It’s all right darling, we all have our moments what distracts us.” Rarity smiled to pat Fluttershy’s back to be at ease here.
“Yeah, anyway….Come on, NiGHTS. Let’s go. Fluttershy’s done daydreaming here!” Rainbow Dash responded to say before she turn around to call out to their jester friend in knowing that NiGHTS should stick with them while they continue along.
“NiGHTS? Where are you? We’re ready to go!” Rarity called out in looking for NiGHTS, but was not spotting her anywhere around here.
“Hey! Where did you go?” Rainbow Dash yelled out in looking around, but was not spotting any signs of their jester pal; it’s as if she’s not here.
“Oh dear! Where did she go?” Fluttershy asked in sounding concern, worried and terrified, NiGHTS isn’t anywhere in sight, not good.
This was looking bad, there was nothing but woods as far as the eye could see. The ponies are separated from NiGHTS, how can they know where she is with these woods filled with enemies? At the very moment, ‘Merry Memory Go Round: Forest Adventure’ was heard playing in the background.
“Hoo…hoo!” Then Owl was seen flapping above to meet up with the group below. “What are you three doing, you should be with NiGHTS in these neck of the woods?” He stated in what these three should be doing, these woods can be filled with enemies.
“I’m sorry, it’s my fault. I was distracted, and now…I brought trouble to us all.” Flutterhsy look down in shame in admitting a fault that was her doing.
“Relax Fluttershy, so we’re alone…we’ve dealt with it before in Aqua Garden.” Rarity spoke to calm her shy friend to not be discourage here.
“Right, hey Owl, any ideas in how we can get through this?” Rainbow Dash replied off to say while wondering if they had a way to get through this.
“Yes. You must make your way through this bewildering forest and meet up with NiGHTS!” Owl explained the case in what the ponies should do, go through the rest of the forest to find NiGHTS ahead. “I’ll help you if you need me.” Owl explained the case as he was soon taking off to find NiGHTS as well while keeping an eye on the ponies from a different view.
Seeing that Rainbow’s Team will have to try to find NiGHTS on their own, they brave the task. As they were moving, they came near a red chest to open it, collected a few Blue Chips to be used for their defensive needs if they need them. Then the ponies reach a large pocket watch and recall what they did before, to push it. Everything became dark, street lamps were on, but also ahead was some glowing fireflies near the bushes…as if signaling the ponies to go in that direction.
“Oh, pretty.” Fluttershy responded in liking this pretty little sight.
“What do you suppose it means?” Rarity asked in not knowing what this could mean.
“A path for us to take, what else? Come on!” Rainbow Dash rolled her eyes to issue this matter in what they are offered to take here.
As the gang walk through, they collected more Blue Chips and passing the firefly wall, they were hoping over hover pads over a river to reach the other side. There were two more chest for the gang to collect and went down a path of the woods just as the night turn to day. Rarity nearly screech when an Eelon was slithering near them while discharging itself, luckily, Rainbow threw a Blue Chip to stun the Nightmaren. They reach another pocket watch after getting another chest with Blue Chips, and after flipping the switch, everything turn to night. And more pads hover from above to the ground, giving the gang a way up and spotted a Time Stopper to collect from behind a bush.
“So it seems when we flip these watch switches, things turn dark.” Rarity thought out in seeing what was happening here.
“So in short, things work differently in the dark. Makes sense, I guess.” Rainbow Dash shrug off to say in getting use to this sorta thing in this world.
“Well, I guess we best get going before time runs out.” Fluttershy suggested in what they might do now before they run out of time & night goes back to being day.
When the gang made it up before the pocket watch’s effect wore off, they collected another chest full of Blue Chips. But they also had to watch out for Deworms as they open a space too close to the ponies. There was no way to get up a path without a lower pad, so they backtrack to find another pocket watch to flip the switch. But it was near Beezes and by a Pod, but when it was dark, they saw a firefly wall and gone through it. They made it before time ran out, and were safely on the other side to collect another chest, then switch another pocket watch lever and saw the blocks on the path vanish into fireflies, so that’s how it works.
“So these blocks turn to fireflies at night, that’s…a little strange.” Rainbow Dash slowly stated in raising an eyebrow in having seen such action.
“Oh my, I guess my world does have some…imagination to it!” Fluttershy slowly stated in being surprised in having made something like this from her heart’s reflection of this world.
“Well then darlings, let’s not delay, onward we go!” Rarity stated off to say this in what they must do next here.
Taking the new path rather than the old one, Rainbow’s Team goes through the path and watches out for spiky hedges, and leap off some hover pads over another river water. Once they reach the other side, they were in a meadow with a large hole in the center, two more chest for the gang to collect more Blue Chips and a Time Stopper. But they hit a snag in where they saw the only way to go…was down the deep hole. Rainbow Dash decided to tease her friends by patting them too hard on their backs as Rarity & Fluttershy scream while Rainbow Dash jump in later. They fell very far, collected a few Blue Chips that either were near before coming near a gust of wind blown from below as it slow their descend and soon they landed in a different area altogether.
“RAINBOW! Did you have to scare us like that?” Rarity yelled out to snap at her friend for pulling such a stunt.
“Sorry, I doubt you jump willingly.” Rainbow Dash made a sly smile in apologizing over the matter of what she knew needed to be done.
“Um, maybe we should get moving, sound okay?” Fluttershy spoke in making this suggestion to stop a senseless argument here.
“Hugh, fine Fluttershy. But we’ll talk more later, Rainbow Dash!” Rarity sighs to admit this while scolding Rainbow that they’ll finish this later.
After settling the issue of having survive that little adventure of their falling matter, the ponies continue to explore ahead, collect more Blue Chips lying about or from a nearby chest, even a Time Stopper too. Pushing another pocket watch nearby turn things dark, and before the gang could go forward, the other side vanish to reveal a trapped Nightopian so they helped out. But time ran out, but their interference with the fireflies did make a block staircase. The gang went up, throw some Blue Chips at a Deworm to keep it stun & avoid the space portals it made. They came across another pocket watch, flip it’s switch, things went dark and a new path open up to them, they ran to a pad, but it rose up when time ran out…but they saw a shiny teardrop in the distance.
“Oh my, what is that object?” Rarity gasped in marveling at the object they saw.
“It looks really important.” Fluttershy stated in seeing such a thing seem important for unknown reasons.
“Since we’re here, may as well grab it and try a different path.” Rainbow Dash shrug off her shoulders to say that before they get down, grab the new object to take with them.
Being curious, Rainbow Dash was more fit and dash off to collect the object before Rarity & Fluttershy drop down to join her. Then they began to explore through a part with many blocks along the path, but there was another pocket watch in which they flip the switch for all to go dark. Course they had to go around the spiky bushes that replace the blocks, and Eelons that they had to stun with Blue Chips. Until they came across some sphere switch in which Fluttershy touch by accent, changing it from red to green. And when they came to the upper path they couldn’t take from spiky bushes blocking it…were suddenly gone.
“Where they go?” Fluttershy asked in seeing that which block their path here were gone.
“Could it be when you hit that switch darling, you change its place.” Rarity questioned to think in what sorta thing happened earlier.
“Way to go Fluttershy. Now we got a new path to take.” Rainbow Dash patted her friend on the back for a job well done.
“Oh, um…okay.” Fluttershy responded meekly in being praised even if it was by an accident.
Seeing that they must have done something, the ponies took this chance to go up to take another path. There was another pocket watch they press to turn things to dark again and saw down one path was a hovering bridge of pads over a river that seem to be a shortcut through. Rainbow’s Team took this path to help them out. Course they never made it with some stalling from looking down at the water, and soon they fell into the river. But as luck had it, there was a cave entrance ahead, they swam to shore, and after stunning an Eelon, they jump over spiky bushes to go down the path. And once they reach the other side, there was some fence area, but there was someone within there that was hovering in wait, it was…
“NiGHTS!” The ponies cried out before rushing over to finally join up with their friend.
“Hey there, I was wondering when you show up.” NiGHTS smiled off to say in being glad her friends made it here.
“You mean you didn’t notice and come looking for us?” Rarity asked in being surprised that NiGHTS choose to wait here for them, then go looking for the gang.
“I knew that if you could find me from Aqua Garden, then you use your wits to do so again.” NiGHTS pointed out in knowing what this group could be capable of if they put their minds to it.
“I think so, we did make it through.” Fluttershy stated in realizing what NiGHTS said was true.
“Then we totally did it!” Rainbow Dash smirked off to say in seeing that they did do well to find their friend.
The background was suddenly playing ‘Peaceful Moment’ during this great reunion. At that same moment, Rainbow Dash, Rarity & Fluttershy cheered for joy and struck a pose. Apparently, they were just so happy to have finally rejoin with NiGHTS that they didn’t care if they were copying the jester’s victory performance moves, etc.
“Well then, how about I take you back to the Door.” NiGHTS spoke off in seeing that maybe it’s time to return to the Door to get back to Dream Gate.
“But, what about the Ideya?” Fluttershy asked out in thinking they haven’t found what they were looking for.
“Don’t worry, it’s not going anywhere.” NiGHTS smiled off to say that the Ideya will be here when they come looking again.
“Well, alright…maybe when we come back, we’ll try again.” Rarity slowly smiles off to nod in agreeing to that.
“Only this time, we won’t lose sight of you.” Rainbow Dash pointed out in making sure they aren’t separated from NiGHTS, so they can be safer that way.
“Right then, so then, let’s be off, shall we…?” NiGHTS nods off to agree to Rainbow’s statement and issues if they are now ready to head on back.
After everything was all set and done, NiGHTS Dualized with the ponies under a bright light they made. Wasn’t long before NiGHTS soon was taking off to bring her pony pals back to the Door to help them get back to Dream Gate. Hopefully the next time Rainbow’s Team comes by, they’ll learn to stick close to NiGHTS and not drift off to their own little world when in a dangerous place. And as the background theme was coming to a close, the scenery goes dark in where we shall see everyone…back in Dream Gate now…

The scene opens up to show us Rainbow Dash, Rarity, & Fluttershy gently falling from the starry night sky. Wasn’t long before they soon reach the pavement of being inside Dream Gate. Everything was still the same as before, the fountain was still flowing with water and such. And the gang slowly walk a bit before taking a load off by the fountain for a brief moment.
“Well, another day, another dollar.” Rainbow Dash smiled off proudly to say this in having seen what they have now done.
“You know, I’m beginning to wonder, how long have we been here?” Rarity spoke off to ask in having the strangest of thoughts now.
“Oh my, the time seems to pass so much, we don’t know how long it’s been.” Fluttershy spoke in feeling surprise to ponder the question now.
“Easy there, look, once we get the next Ideya, things will be great, right?” Rainbow Dash spoke off to calm her pals in not getting so bent out of shape.
“Well, it is said to be close within Memory Forest.” Fluttershy responded in knowing that they can get the Ideya they seek next time they go back.
“Yes, but let’s not forget, that horrid Queen Bella might come back to get us.” Rarity pointed out in knowing who will be waiting for them.
“Then we’ll do what we did before.” Rainbow Dash issued forth in making a stated claim here.
“But, won’t she be harder then?” Fluttershy slowly spoke off in feeling concern about the next time they fight that Nightmaren spider queen.
“You’re not helping, Fluttershy.” Rainbow Dash rolled her eyes to speak off in seeing her friend isn’t helping on boosting their confidence.
“Sorry.” Fluttershy meekly apologize in making things unhelpful.
“Well Rainbow Dash, I know we need to keep doing our best, and so we shall. I for one am wanting to get through this to get home.” Rarity hereby declared in knowing that they must get through this, or else they can’t get home.
“I miss every pony back in Ponyville and all my animal friends.” Fluttershy stated in feeling lonely from being away from Equestria for so long.
“Remember, we get five Ideya, then we win. Simple as that, we’re halfway there. So what do you say, you in?” Rainbow Dash smiled to pat Fluttershy’s back to relax, if they get by this, then with five Ideya, they can return home.
“Well, I probably say, I was never out. So…I’m in.” Rarity slowly spoke in having taken in by Rainbow’s well-place speech.
“Me too, let’s go and find the next Ideya!” Fluttershy nods off to say in understanding this and is willing to go the distance.
After coming to an agreement of sorts, the ponies slowly make their way to the Door to lead them back to Memory Forest. They slowly were opening the doors to let in the white light from it. And then the ponies were walking on through the place before the doors close behind them. And as the scene fades, we can tell this group is gonna keep on going for the goal…

Soon the scene returns back to Memory Forest as we see NiGHTS flying above the ground. At the same time, the background was playing ‘Cowardly Custard’ for the theme. And it wasn’t long until NiGHTS soon saw what was ahead of her, a familiar blue octopus with pink spots; Octopaw!
“Look! It’s…Octopaw!” Fluttershy’s voice called out in seeing who was below as Octopaw heard something to turn and see the jester upon him before turning away to expel Rings.
“Man, he likes to travel much, doesn’t he?” Rainbow Dash’s voice spoke off in seeing how much Octopaw has travel for a big coward.
“Indeed, we’ve seen him in every world we’ve been in.” Rarity’s voice declared in feeling like Octopaw has been to many places already.
“I know you three must be pretty good at flying by now.” NiGHTS commented with the pony spirits on their flying skills that they’ve done so far.
“Oh yeah, might not have wings working, but I know how to fly!” Rainbow Dash’s spirit declared in knowing she’s awesome, wings or no wings, if she flies, she flies high.
“Um, I’m still knowing how to fly with my wings too, just…not as excellent as other Pegasus ponies.” Fluttershy’s spirit meekly spoke in giving only little praise of her own skills.
“And though I’m no Pegasus, it was nice to fly again.” Rarity’s spirit spoke off to say this in feeling really good over the matter of flying.
“Well...Come on, let’s keep up with this little fellow. I mean, if you can!” NiGHTS suggested out that they follow Octopaw to catch up with him, if the ponies think they can as she’s not rushing them.
“Hah! I’ll gladly take on the challenge!” Rainbow Dash’s spirit declared in making some bragging rights about that.
“As will I!” Rarity’s spirit proclaimed in wanting to also accept the challenge too.
“Hm! I’ll keep up too!” Fluttershy’s spirit also responded to nod in wanting to assure that she’ll keep up too.
“Okay! Let’s do it, then!” NiGHTS declared off in seeing it’s time that they start the next chase on Octopaw as the jester flies low to catch up.
Wasn’t long before Octopaw was near the cavern entrance which leads to the Merry-Go-Round spot. At the same moment, the background was changed to play ‘Catch Me If You Can’ for the next theme to be played here.
“Remember girls. Fly through the Rings that Octopaw leaves behind and get at least 35 Links!” NiGHTS explained the basic exercise of what they are to do here, go through enough Rings to make it up to that number.
“Woah; that seems higher than usual!” Rainbow Dash’s spirit yelps in having heard the number increase much.
“Why Rainbow, are you saying you can’t do it?” Rarity’s spirit asked in sensing something wrong with her friend.
“No, course I can! I was just…thinking about you guys is all,” Rainbow Dash’s spirit protest to make her image still appear cool.
“Well, I’ll do my very best to make it!” Fluttershy’s spirit declared in which she’ll try her hardest here.
And so the gang begun, Rainbow Dash was piloting NiGHTS as they started. Soon NiGHTS was going through the Rings Octopaw was expelling as they go through the Merry-Go-Round area. They were collecting a few Blue Chips and going through more Rings before going to the next upper stage. NiGHTS was perfectly going through the Rings, had to watch for an ink squirt from Octopaw, and as they gang continue, they meant no problems with any ride animals. The gang continue to go through more Rings expelled, collect Blue Chips, and watch out for ink squirts by Octopaw even in the third area. Course as the gang continued, they reach ANOTHER Merry-Go-Round room, this one WITH the animal rides to dodge while going through the Rings Octopaw expels. And it got tricky with the ink spray that block view to dodge incoming animals. But it wasn’t long before they reach the outside of grassy green again.
“Man, I almost thought there wasn’t gonna be any of those things at all!” Rainbow Dash’s spirit exclaimed to state in what they were almost believing there.
“One of the rules is to expect the unexpected.” NiGHTS explained the case to always expect anything at this point.
“Wow, that is some good advice there?” Fluttershy’s spirit stated in having been told of this, that was some good advice.
“Well let’s continue this after keeping up with Octopaw, shall we?” Rarity’s spirit stated to say that they are still after Octopaw, and they are out of the area itself.
Now the gang continues to follow Octopaw, with Rarity now taking control on NiGHTS. They get shot from a jar cannon downwards, go through Rings, and follow through to Paraloop Blue Chips and flip a pocket watch’s switch to make things go dark. So now the gang go through the glowing flower field section while chasing after Octopaw, going through the Rings as they see them. The night turn to day while NiGHTS went up and down hills to chase Octopaw to a library area while going through the Rings. NiGHTS was even stretching out the Drill Dash move to go through Paraloop Blue Chips to even more Rings while avoiding more ink squirts from Octopaw.
“Oh my, maybe this was a bit too much!” Rarity’s spirit yelps to say in still doing the spin action here.
“Hang tight Rarity! You’re doing great.” Rainbow Dash’s spirit issued in knowing they can keep doing this.
“Just remember to be in control.” NiGHTS explained in what they need to do, stay in control.
“I hope so-o-o-oh…” Fluttershy’s spirit was about to say, but kept feeling the dizziness affect her until they stop spinning. “Woah; that was something.” She issued from having been through something that wild.
After much more chasing, the gang was getting around near the buildings of the forest. And soon Fluttershy was soon piloting NiGHTS to follow after Octopaw and go through the Rings. NiGHTS had to be careful near some spiky ball rings to go through without getting hurt, and gone through a jar cannon & was shot down to flip another pocket watch’s switch to turn things dark. That allowed them to see the glowing flowers to go through them, and the Rings, to get near another jar cannon to shoot themselves off close to Octopaw.
“Oh, the flowers are always so beautiful.” Fluttershy’s spirit stated off to say in noticing how pretty these blue flowers look.
“Keep focusing Fluttershy, remember to be thinking of the target.” NiGHTS explained that they must keep their minds as focus as possible.
“Still, these flowers are more lovely when it’s at night it seems!” Rarity exclaimed to say that they can’t just enjoy the view along the way.
“Flowers for later, we got more to think about with Octopaw!” Rainbow Dash’s spirit issued that they need to continue to focus on the Octopaw ahead.
As the gang was chasing after Octopaw when night turn to day, they return to the Merry-Go-Round cave to go through again to follow Octopaw. They were going through the Rings that were expel, trying to do their best here. They watch out for ink squirts and collect floating Blue Chips and go through more Rings as much as they can. They then go up to the next level of the area, and NiGHTS was catching up to Octopaw to go through the Rings. But just then, as they were closing in on Octopaw, the guy made a big squirt of ink that blinded the group, and as it cleared out…he was gone the next.
“Oh drat! Once again, he got away from us!” Rainbow Dash’s spirit complained in seeing that they lost the Octopaw again for the third time.
“Um, so how well do you think we did? I mean, if it’s okay with you NiGHTS?” Fluttershy’s spirit asked off in being concern if they done well or not.
“Well now, this here could be considered to be the final test.” NiGHTS spoke off to say this in having to think of what the gang has done to this point.
“Oh dear, now I’m concerned, like a friend we know in hearing this. Um…how’d we do?” Rarity’s spirit spoke off to say in feeling like maybe this is how Twilight feels in taking test, if she score perfectly or terribly; which did they get.
“I say…you all pass well.” NiGHTS slowly spoke off to say this in saying something that makes everyone feel surprise. “You’ve now handled flying in all the worlds we came across, so I say you’re fully good to knowing how to handle yourselves. So good work to you all.” She smiled off to give rise in saying the group here did excellent, they are now fully well in knowing how to fly.
At that same moment, there background was changed to play ‘Peaceful Moment’ at this time. For the pony spirits were cheering in having heard that they have completed this trial and are now perfectly capable to fly by magic. Even NiGHTS was shown twirling around to make a victory pose with a smile, showing off how happy she was that they obtain victory here.
“Never get tired of seeing you pull off that move, NiGHTS.” Rainbow Dash exclaimed to say with nodding off on NiGHTS victory movement.
“Yes, it is your style, after all.” Rarity’s spirit smile to nod in seeing that NiGHTS movement is her own style to be noted for.
“I’m just happy we all did well.” Fluttershy’s spirit smiled off to say this in what they have done to be alright & are now good at magically flying.
“So then, are you all ready to head back to Dream Gate now?” NiGHTS asked off the next question here if the gang wants to go back to Dream Gate at this time.
“Well, guess so, we’ll still plan to come back though.” Rainbow Dash’s spirit exclaimed to say that while they can go back now, they’ll come back later to find the Idea still.
“Yes, we need to find the next Ideya as fast as we can.” Rarity’s spirit issued off in agreement, they won’t stop until they succeed in their mission.
“Oh yes, we definitely are gonna do our best to be helpful to find it.” Fluttershy’s spirit nodded off to say this that they wanna be as helpful as they can be.
“Then all the more for me to be glad to have you all. So for now, let’s head on back then.” NiGHTS exclaimed in seeing how well this group shows spirit, and states in seeing that it’s time they head on back now.
And soon with that, NiGHTS then flies off in preparing to get the gang out of the Merry-Go-Round cavern to be back outside to find the Door to get back to Dream Gate. Everyone has done well here with not only their searches, but also their skills to improve their flying abilities with NiGHTS. And as the scene fads out, we’ll know where Rainbow’s Team shall be in, and know they shall return to Memory Forest to find the Ideya no matter what. And with that, the background theme being heard comes to a closure…
