Chapter 06: Bubble Match & Octopaw Chase
The scene opens up towards Dream Gate once again as it is seen looking as quiet & peaceful as last time we saw it. But the focus again was upon the My Dream Door as it was slowly opening up to reveal none other than…Rainbow Dash, Rarity & Fluttershy as these three ponies came out of there while looking a bit more relax & refresh as it seems. Soon they look around to see they are back by the fountain & also see the Door that leads to the place called Aqua Garden.
“Alright, so are we ready to get going or what?” Rainbow Dash asked off if everyone here is ready to be going off on another trip to Nightopia.
“Or what…what?” Flutters asked off in not understanding the question very well.
“You know, to go off & explore more of Nightopia, last time, we barely had much to deal with.” Rainbow Dash rolled her eyes to explain to her shy friend of what they didn’t do last time they went to such a cool place.
“As far as I recall Rainbow, we were busy saving NiGHTS who had been captured & then dealt with that horrid Nightmaren.” Rarity spoke off to remind her friend of when NiGHTS was captured by that Reala character & then after springing a friend, they dealt with Girania.
“Oh yes, he did seem a bit….upset in wanting us.” Fluttershy nods in being concern in how bad Girania was.
“And by want, you mean to eat us. Well at least we can do something else than be bait.” Rainbow Dash remotely pointed out that reminder while changing the subject of how it turn out in the end.
“And what else can we find?” Rarity raised an eyebrow in pondering what her daring friend was getting to.
“What do you think, those Ideya things, right? Aren’t we suppose to find them & stuff?” Rainbow Dash stated that they need to find the other four Ideya that are apart of them or something like that.
“She does make a very good point Rarity.” Fluttershy look to Rarity in slowly agreeing to that logic.
“Hugh, hearing that Rainbow makes sense must be serious. But very well, let us try to find the Ideya together, shall we…?” Rarity sighs to shrug off that if Rainbow Dash says something serious, then they got no choice but to do what they can to help.
“Alright, then let’s get cracking!” Rainbow Dash pump up her front hoof to make this scene adventurous.
“Yeah…” Fluttershy gave a quiet meekly cheer, though it sounded too quiet for words.
“And we’ll have to get your cheer in work again, Fluttershy.” Rainbow Dash narrow her eyes at the shy yellow Pegasus for needing more work on her ‘yeah’ cheers…again.
“Oh come now, let’s just get going now.” Rarity rolled her eyes in seeing they have chatted long enough, & it’s time to move it.
Soon the ponies come towards the Door that would lead them to Aqua Garden. And just like before, they slowly pull it open to which a bright light envelops them & they see pretty energize butterflies too. And soon they vanished afterwards into the Door, where they would end up back in the Nightopia known as Aqua Garden once again.

We soon find the scene returns us back towards the lovely Aqua Garden. There we see the Nightopians were around a nice little spot, having some little game to enjoy, like playing ball. But in a different version, the ball itself was instead….a bubble. No lies, the Nightopians seem to be tossing around bubbles, adding the little ones to a great big, sphere size bubble that look like a big boulder rock…only it’s very light & very squishy. And as these little guys were bouncing their heads on the little bubbles to make the center bubble bigger, they never noticed NiGHTS & the ponies coming through a little cavern spot to witness what the Nightopians were up to without worry & just happily having fun.
“I can’t believe this…” NiGHTS stated as she floated with her hands to her waist while her pony friends walk beside her in listening to her talk. “Even with the Nightmarens out there, these fellows are so…carefree!” She smiled a bit in seeing how much the Nightopians don’t let such scary things keep them down from being all happy & wanting to have fun.
“Oh yes, they don’t feel bother or afraid. I wish I could feel that sometimes.” Fluttershy smiled a bit in making a little compliment in seeing how happy the Nightopians are.
“Even still, one can’t let something as bad as that keep one from having a good time, right?” Rarity nods to agree that one can’t always live feeling worried, guess sometimes…being happy makes things brighter for these little guys.
“Yep. I guess that’s part of what makes Nightopia such a great place.” NiGHTS happily shrug off her right arm to say in seeing that with the Nightopians being happy in this place of a dreamt paradise, it makes the little things seem far away from a worried person’s mind.
“I’ll say, don’t let what got you in the past keep you down, just fly on by.” Rainbow Dash smiled off to say this in feeling like whatever spooked them before, they shouldn’t be hung over it; it ain’t healthy.
As the ponies were pretty much in thought about how great a Nightopia made for the Nightopians is for them & others, their focus was distracted by something else seen nearby.
“Hey, look! Owl is over there, too.” Fluttershy pointed out in looking happy in seeing their other new friend was nearby too.
True to words, as the Nightopians were spread out with bubbles over their heads with the big one in the center, Owl was seen appearing in the same formation. Everyone seem to be bouncing a bubble off their heads to the big bubble & Owl did the same in bonking his towards the big center bubble. But not only did the bubble not be absorbed, it bounce back & collided to absorb Owl’s head into it. Imagine how funny that look as he was seen struggling with a bubble coated on him that the Nightopians were giggling at the sight they found humorist. Owl was struggling with moans & groans to pull his head out of the bubble before he was on the ground & just managed to get that bubble off for it to drift. As Owl sighs with relief, he soon notices that NiGHTS & the ponies came up to him.
“Oh ho hoo! Hello, you four.” Owl spoke off to greet those that have arrived here; but he did notice Rainbow trying to hold some urge to laugh, even Rarity & Fluttershy tried to keep a calm smiley face to not laugh at the guy’s misfortunate. “I suppose you’ve already observed my…term…lack of grace, have you?” Owl stated off in sounding bothered when he was seen looking a bit silly as NiGHTS floated around to the ponies in smiling to another in having seen the act.
And pretty much, NiGHTS, Fluttershy & Rarity let off a chuckle, Rarity & Fluttershy tried to hold their hooves to their mouths to contain the noise; while Rainbow Dash was laughing herself on the ground in they all agree…THAT was funny.
“Ho-ho-hoooo, man…we know some friends who LOOOVE to see that!” Rainbow Dash laughed out loud in knowing that if their pals from the rest of the Mane Six & friends saw that, they laugh hard too.
“Yes….you did look, really silly?” Fluttershy slightly nodded in feeling like what they saw did seem pretty funny to giggle at.
“Oh, pardon us….It’s just that….you look so funny, it was the first funny thing we’ve seen while being here? Heheh….” Rarity tried her best to contain her giggles at seeing for once, something funny in the Night Dimension.
“Well now, you mustn’t kid yourself, my dears. This is not as easy as it may appear!” Owl spoke forth in trying to regain his pose to the ones who found his performance funny, that it’s not the player, but the game itself that’s hard to play. “The larger a ball you make, the more difficult it is to control.” Owl explained the matter in what happened to him & that’s how it came down to him with a bubble on his head.
“Yeah…you sure were IN control alright?” Rainbow Dash spoke off to say before busting into another laughter feast.
“Ohho, excuse Rainbow…she’s…heheheh….right about it.” Rarity held her stomach in feeling unable to control her urge to laugh too.
“Hmph-hmph…hmph-hmph…” Fluttershy was smirking with her eyes shut to try to hold in her laughs that was getting out of control.
Pretty much the ponies & NiGHTS were not really listening as they were still too busy laughing at how funny Owl was earlier. It was priceless!
“I…I say! You must respect your elders!” Owl sternly scolded NiGHTS & the ponies in failing to listen & continue to laugh at his silly performance; apparently they were too busy laughing to pay attention.
“Oho…we’re very sorry Owl, we’ll be good…promise.” Fluttershy tries to recover to wipe off some tears from having laugh so hard.
“We’ll…All right then, let’s have a proper match, then!” Owl decided to change the subject from being the center of a joke to a more different subject. “Let’s see if you can make a ball that’s larger than mine!” Owl requested a challenge to those that can beat his bubble, if they can.
Soon NiGHTS along with Rainbow & Rarity finally calm down from laughing so hard to hear this request to look at the other. And soon they stare back at Owl along with Fluttershy in deciding to accept the challenge, who knows, it could be a real blast.
“Alright then Owl, we’ll happily take that challenge. Ready girls?” NiGHTS stated off to say in deciding to take this challenge right here & now.
“Oh yeah! Time to Dualize & win this game!” Rainbow Dash spoke off in knowing what time it was here.
“Well yes, I suppose it could be…rather exciting.” Rarity nods off to say in knowing the same matter itself.
“Oh, I’ll do my best.” Fluttershy slowly spoke to say in getting a bit excited herself.
Soon Rainbow and NiGHTS reach forth to touch each other, & then from the bright light effects, NiGHTS soon flew up above. And from what we see, the spirit pony forms of Rainbow Dash, Rarity & Fluttershy are seen, with Rainbow in control of NiGHTS right now. From what was seen, little tubes below them on the beach pumped bubbles upwards to the air. And there seem to be many fishes swimming about & in the center was the big bubble itself glowing violet colors at the moment.
“Rules are simple. Push the balls of water into the Aqua Globe in the center to make it as big as you can! You’ll be time of course.” Owl explained the rules of the challenge, to beat his big bubble record within a certain amount of time.
“Piece of cake! I can handle this!” Rainbow Dash’s spirit bragged out in feeling cocky right now.
“We…can handle this, Rainbow.” Rarity’s spirit reminded her ego friend to not be so overconfident.
After learning about the rules, NiGHTS was soon off to perform a few bubbles at the target. But as soon as the smaller bubbles made contact with the large one in the center, they were instead bounce off. NiGHTS quickly duck down to avoid getting a splash on her face before having study what happened that the plan seem to have failed.
“Hugh? It didn’t go in?” Rainbow Dash’s spirit asked off puzzled in having seen that be done right now.
“Did we do something wrong?” Fluttershy asked in thinking they must have mess up somewhere.
“Remember how Owl tried to get his bubble in, it was too small to be absorbed in the big bubble in the center.” NiGHTS pointed out this to remind her spirit pony friends that the smaller bubbles can’t be merge with the big one in the center…yet that is.
“But all these bubbles are either too small or not big enough! Oh my, maybe Owl was right about this being hard!” Rarity’s spirit stated to say in seeing this challenge will actually be not so easy to do as they thought.
“So then how do we beat this thing?” Rainbow Dash’s spirit asked off in what they can do here instead.
“Um, I once saw that when two bubbles merge, they get bigger.” Fluttershy’s spirit spoke out in making this little claim about what she saw that could help out.
“So if that’s the case, then why not make the smaller ones big enough to be absorb for the big one in the center?” NiGHTS proclaimed with a smile in seeing they figure out the correct course to finish this challenge. “Come on, let’s try it out & see!” She issued that with the right game plan in mind, they can do this now.
Having settle on a game plan, Rainbow was steering NiGHTS against a faraway bubble that was medium size, & then bonked it towards smaller ones, & look & behold, it got bigger. And then from one little push from going behind it to make it collide with the one in the center, that bubble absorbed & grew larger; it actually worked this time around.
“So that’s how it works. Rainbow, can I try it, I believe I know how to do it now.” Rarity’s spirit spoke in having seen what needs to be done, & wants to try out.
“Alright, just make sure you make a big one!” Rainbow’s spirit shrug off to say this while saying this last little bit.
Soon Rarity was in control of NiGHTS & began to help go near another bigger bubble & decided to spin around the smaller ones to be absorbed into it. And then came the role to quickly just collect more & more bubbles into the one being worked on before it look like it grew more bigger than the bubble in the center. Then with one mighty push from NiGHTS, the big bubble went directly into the center bubble which absorbed a lot of it.
“Wow; that really did something Rarity! Um, if it’s too much trouble, could I…?” Fluttershy’s spirit was complimenting while also wanting to ask her friend if she could join too…
“Certainly darling, give it a go!” Rarity’s spirit happily stated that her shy friend can join the fun.
“Everyone gets a turn, come on now!” NiGHTS encouraged Fluttershy to take a chance here.
Taking that idea into account, Fluttershy soon was controlling NiGHTS to have her move in collecting bubbles to have them grow bigger & bigger. She was seen even inside the bubble to fly around in it to collect the smaller bubbles in a quicker fashion. Just before she thrown it against the big center bubble, but when it look like it would be absorb, it was instead…bounce back.
“Hugh….did I do something wrong?” Fluttershy’s spirit asked in looking concern in having done something that did the opposite effect.
“No, just looks like you need more bubbles to make ours get in that thing. Come on everyone, let’s do our stuff!” NiGHTS spoke off to say this in knowing what needs to be done.
“Right!” Rainbow Dash & Rarity along with Fluttershy’s spirits responded in having heard what their jester friend suggested.
Now NiGHTS was seen to collect a dozen bubbles before fusing them with their largest bubble & then shot it into the center…where it merge & became extra big then. Probably bigger than it was with how Owl made it & it seem like victory was close to be in their hands.
“Say, what say we take our time now?” Rainbow’s spirit spoke in feeling like they made their bubble so big, they can probably be at ease a bit.
“Well, how’s about we do some Paraloops on some fish swimming around?” NiGHTS spoke off to say that while they continue the game, they can get some fish nearby.
“Ohhh, if they get sent to our own My Dream, then we’ll have fish that fly by happily. Let’s do it!” Rarity’s spirit perk up in having love the idea of seeing flying fish in their My Dream place.
Soon NiGHTS was seen going about in collecting more bubbles to grow & help merge with the big center bubble, all while slowly getting to pass more flying fish that NiGHTS did Paraloops around, allowing them to go into the portals to end up in the My Dream spot where the ponies could see them there next time they go. It wasn’t long before the gang managed to send in one more large bubble to merge with the center bubble as it look supremely big compared to before.
“Time’s up now!” Owl spoke up to announce that the game was over now.
“Wait, we were time?” Rainbow’s spirit asked off to say while forgetting that Owl already said they be time; oh well.
“And, well…as it pains me to admit…you have made a bigger bubble than I have. Congratulations, my friends.” Owl humbly admit his lost & congrats NiGHTS & friends for making a bigger bubble than he did.
At that moment, the background was heard playing ‘Peaceful Moment’ in response to the gang’s cheering joy. The pony spirits of Rainbow Dash, Rarity & Fluttershy were cheering in having heard they won the challenge, it was very fun & exciting. Even NiGHTS did her own little victory twirl spin & gracefully pose afterwards. That just shows how much the jester love to know they did well to seize the day.
“Why NiGHTS, that was a very lovely move you just did!” Rarity’s spirit spoke off in having seen NiGHTS do that for the first time.
“Oh that? Just something I do when I feel happy.” NiGHTS shrug off her shoulders to explain this to her friends.
“Well, I think it was…very nice.” Fluttershy’s spirit stated with a little smile on her face.
“Yeah, I guess it was pretty cool. If it’s your victory dance, I can dig it.” Rainbow Dash’s spirit nods off to say this in figuring that dance was like a victory moment for NiGHTS.
“Then since we’ve had a little fun, why not head on back to Dream Gate for a bit?” NiGHTS stated in knowing they were done here, may as well head on back about now.
With that thought in mind, NiGHTS soon took off in preparing to get her pony friends here back to Dream Gate. As NiGHTS was leaving, Owl also vanished from sight a little bit afterwards too. The entire scene begins to fade out at this time, signaling the end of this little Bubble Match of a challenge the gang got from visiting Aqua Garden.

We soon see that Rainbow’s Team were gently falling from the starry night sky just before they landed on the stone surface that lead them back to Dream Gate. As they came to look about at the place, seems like NiGHTS undid the Dualize process, but at least the ponies were happy to have return after a fun little game they had.
“Man, now that was a trip that was kinda interesting!” Rainbow Dash smiled off to say this in having like that moment.
“The bubbles reminds me of giving my pets their bubbly baths.” Fluttershy smiled to say this in how that experience felt for them when she’s been home.
“If Pinkie Pie were here, she almost love this game.” Rarity stated to ponder how Pinkie Pie would have enjoy that bubble game.
“Well maybe if we ever get home, we can tell her that.” Rainbow Dash waved off easily in thinking about telling their pals afterwards once they get home.
“Um, how?” Fluttershy asked a sudden question that came to her mind; how can they get home?
“Well…I think finding those Ideya things be the right start.” Rainbow Dash rub the back of her head in trying to think that if they need to recover all five Ideyas, then maybe that will be the sign they can return home.
“Then we best hurry & find the first one, come along darlings!” Rarity stated to say this in feeling that they must find the next Ideya as quickly as possible.
With that, the group walks into the fountain area at the time being. And then who would fly down to greet them again then good old…Owl.
“I see you all made it back safely.” Owl spoke to fly on down and be near the group of ponies that have return.
“Oh hello Owl, we sure did have fun.” Fluttershy smiled off to say in recalling their trip to Aqua Garden for the Bubble Match.
“Indeed, you did. You’re able to make water balls larger than I can…You’re not bad at all, actually.” Owl complimented the ponies on a feat well deserving.
“Yep, we’re pretty awesome, I know.” Rainbow Dash brag off in taking some credit, much to her friends rolling their eyes at seeing this.
“Maybe you three will be able to retrieve the missing Ideya after all. So if you’re ready, let’s head back to Nightopia.” Owl complimented to say this that if the group can handle challenges, then they shall surely come across the missing Ideya of theirs.
“Right away? Well…I was almost hoping to relax.” Rarity spoke a bit surprise to here they need to act quickly.
“Come on Rarity, that was a game for fun, this time…we’re gonna work. Remember?” Rainbow Dash was reminding her friend that they have to work sometimes.
“Ohhhh, very well. Since you insist.” Rarity pouted to say this, even a delicate mare like herself will put up with some things after all.
“Then we’ll wait for you back in Aqua Garden, till then…” Owl stated to say in where the group can find him & their jester pal next…
Then like that, Owl vanished into thin air without a trace except for a few feathers. Everyone was amazed that Owl could disappear like that, it was like some sorta warp teleportation spell in action or something.
“My, I wonder if magicians with pet owls can do this too.” Fluttershy questioned the thought that if all magicians with owls for pets can all do magic like that.
“Don’t know, let’s get going!” Rainbow Dash shrug off to say that one minute before changing the subject. “Can’t help but feel there’s something about that place that just makes me feel so…so…” She was about to say something, since whenever they visit Aqua Garden, it feels…familiar to Rainbow Dash.
“Awesome, is that the word?” Rarity raised an eyebrow to playfully tease her friend in knowing her vocabulary.
“Kinda….but I’m not sure yet. It’s like the world adventure for me, but I can’t determine why.” Rainbow Dash shrug off to say in not knowing herself, that’s why she wants to learn more about it.
“Well…Owl said Ideya create Nightopia, maybe this place is connected to you…Rainbow Dash.” Fluttershy spoke in thinking that thought that could make some sense.
“Only way to find out, we explore!” Rainbow Dash proudly stated to say this in knowing what they do next here.
“I somewhat knew you were going to suggest that. Oh well…” Rarity rolled her eyes in knowing Rainbow would wanna explore to find adventures, but that’s her daring friend’s best quality alright.
Soon the ponies came near the Door to lead them back to Aqua Garden. As they slowly open the door, the same bright white light begins to shine over the ponies. And soon everything fads out at the moment before the next trip & adventure awaits Rainbow’s Team.

Now the scene slowly opens up towards where we are back again at Aqua Garden. A familiar background music called ‘Cowardly Custard’ was heard being played. And this time, we find NiGHTS was soaring over the water & giant lily-pads while leaving a star dust trail in her wake. But then as she was flying, her eyes spotted something as she flew to an upward standing in mid-air stance. And also seeing the stuff from NiGHTS were the ponies that Dualize wither, Rainbow Dash, Rarity & Fluttershy. And below them, was…a strange blue jar with spots on them…which seem familiar. And what was also familiar was seeing the same creature as the jar come out, a giant octopus creature known none other than…Octopaw!
“Look over there!” Rainbow Dash’s spirit pointed in seeing something never seen before.
“Goodness! Something is poking its head out from that jar.” Rarity’s spirit gasped in having seen such a thing this very moment.
“Oh dear….Is it a Nightmaren?” Fluttershy’s spirit asked with worry in fearing if that thing was an enemy.
“No, no, that’s just an Octopaw.” NiGHTS issued off to say this in a calm manner to say what it was they are seeing. “You’re scared of everything, aren’t you Fluttershy?” She stated off with a positive attitude in seeing one of her friends seems scared of something like an Octopaw; if only she knew the truth.
“Octopaw?” Fluttershy’s spirit repeated that name in not having heard of such a creature & look to NiGHTS in what she meant.
“Ugh, yeah.…care to clue us in on what an Octopaw is?” Rainbow Dash’s spirit asked off in not having a clue of what an Octopaw is or what it does.
“So then…what is he if not ferocious?” Rarity asked in not knowing if Octopaw is something to easily approach or not.
“Please, he’s not ferocious. He’s kind of a scaredy-cat, too.” NiGHTS shrug off while stating this to seat in midair & cross her arms, the same was being done by the pony spirits that were within the jester’s body. “If you chase him, he’ll leave behind a trail of rings.” She explained the case that if one chases an Octopaw, he’ll leaves rings behind for one to follow.
“Really?” The pony spirits asked off from not knowing if that was true or not, they never heard about it.
“Really….It’s good practice to fly through those rings. It’s not as easy as it looks, though.” NiGHTS explained to say to held up her right finger to make this statement clear about flying through rings Octopaw leaves. “Hey, why don’t you girls give it a shot? You’re used to flying by now, aren’t you? Come on, let’s go.” NiGHTS suggested this with a smile in thinking Rainbow Dash, Rarity & Fluttershy try a hand at this, they’ve gotten pretty good & this’ll be more good practice.
“H-Hey!” Rarity’s spirit yelps from when NiGHTS stood up & hands on her hips which the other pony spirits followed in that guidance movement.
“W-Wait a minute!” Fluttershy’s spirit also yelps in being a bit unprepared for this sorta new work to do.
“Oh yeah! Count me in! Let’s go!” Rainbow Dash’s spirit cheered in liking the sounds of this, more flying practice with NiGHTS sounds perfect.
And then before anyone could say anything else here, NiGHTS was soon flying downwards to leave a night dust trail while planning to chase after Octopaw. At that same moment, we were soon hearing ‘Catch Me If You Can’ that replace the other background track. And soon we see Octopaw begin to float off while he expels Rings for those to fly through. Just then, Owl shows up in noticing what was going to happen here.
“Hoo! Looks like you’re about to chase after Octopaw!” Owl stated out in seeing what the gang was up to here.
“That’s right, care to tell our friends what needs to be done or should I?” NiGHTS replied off to say here while wondering if Owl or her should explain the details of Octopaw.
“Well, fly through the Rings that Octopaw leaves behind & get at least 25 Links! And that goes for each of the three areas you’ll be flying in.” Owl explained the case in what the group needs to do in having NiGHTS fly through the Rings.
“That’s it? Doesn’t sound too hard! Bet we can do more before moving on!” Rainbow Dash’s spirit boosted off in sounding pretty cocky about now.
Before the other ponies could say anything, Rainbow Dash had NiGHTS fly off to collect some Blue Chips along the way & gone through waterfalls to pass through some golden orb Rings. Rainbow Dash even had NiGHTS can shot out of an object jar cannon they pass by & were really coming up close to Octopaw. From the fast speed being done, NiGHTS was passing by the Rings while doing Paraloops to collect Blue Chips before they were moving on. And so far, Rainbow Dash was catching up to the guy until…
“Careful…get too close to Octopaw, it’ll scare him off to squirt ink at us; he’s pretty much spooked if he sees a human.” NiGHTS forewarn her friends in piloting her in what to be wary of if they get too close.
“But…we’re not human.” Fluttershy’s spirit slowly questioned that fact about them not being humans.
“But darling, NiGHTS looks human enough, & if ‘some’ pony, keeps speeding up, it’ll only frighten the octopus more.” Rarity’s spirit calmly was saying about NiGHTS being more human looking before sternly lecturing Rainbow Dash near her of what happens if they are not careful.
“Alright, alright, I’ll tone the speed down a notch.” Rainbow Dash’s spirit rolled her eyes in getting the idea in being careful.
“Then how’s about you fly for a while Rarity?” NiGHTS suggested who should take over to do some flying practice than a non-flier without wings, but can hover still.
Having been asked, Rarity nodded her head before controlling NiGHTS’ body to fly down near a lake water around the floating ruins. Rarity had NiGHTS fly through some Rings Octopaw made & went pass to do a Paraloop by a nice dolphin statue before soaring of to follow the quick octopus. NiGHTS is seen chasing through up & down a hill to ride across a geyser stream before going through another falls in wherever the Ring path open up near. But pretty much, Octopaw was giving them a really good workout in what crazy direction one has to go down by.
“Hugh…hugh…goodness….exactly where does he even like to go?” Rarity’s spirit felt almost out of breath, Octopaw sure seems to be in a rush.
“No one knows I’m afraid, but at least we’re getting a good flight workout.” NiGHTS shrug off to say that they don’t have an answer for that one, but they are getting their work cut out here in flying practice.
“So do I take over? Or should it be Fluttershy?” Rainbow Dash’s spirit asked off in who should be doing the next fly run.
“M-Me?” Fluttershy’s spirit yelps off in repeating that sentence without knowing what she just did.
“Alright then Fluttershy, you’re in control now.” NiGHTS shrug off to say in having heard Fluttershy wants a turn.
“Oh but, wait, I’m not ready…oh never mind.” Fluttershy’s spirit was about to protest against it, only to be too little too late.
Now Fluttershy was controlling NiGHTS to fly around to collect Blue Chips and go through the Rings Octopaw expel behind. Fluttershy might not be quick to catch up, but she will not be lagging behind. From zigzagging near some tricky spiral mountain parts and going over another pouring of water falls, the Ocotpaw was changing direction to a third area in question. Fluttershy was doing everything she could to Paraloop to collect Blue Chips & even go through the golden round Rings while trying to stand on Octopaw’s trail. Fluttershy even had to use the Drill Dash move to keep up with the speedy creature.
“Keep on him Fluttershy!” Rainbow Dash’s spirit encouraged her friend to keep tailing this guy.
“Right, don’t be losing to it!” Rarity’s spirit spoke forth in also giving some encouraging words as well.
“I’m…trying….” Fluttershy’s spirit whispered out weakly in trying to help do the best she can.
“Come on now Fluttershy, we’re on the final mark, let’s work together to make it count!” NiGHTS encouraged her friend & the rest to give this one their all.
Getting that message, the pony spirits decided to each help whatever they could to help NiGHTS catch up to go through enough Rings now. Rainbow Dash used moments for speed, Rarity used moments for graceful movements & Fluttershy used moments to keep track on Octopaw’s movements. NiGHTS was pretty much securing all of Blue Chips & getting through many Rings, they were almost upon Octopaw when…he saw them coming so close, he squirted ink & ran…but the jester dodge in time before seeing the octopus had fled the area.
“Aw man, we lost him!” Rainbow Dash’s spirit moans to say in seeing that Octopaw got away.
“Do not be so discourage, my young friends.” Then flying from afar was Owl as he had caught up to this group now.
“Owl, you managed to keep up.” Rarity’s spirit raised an eyebrow in being surprise at who came to catch up to them.
“He maybe old, but he can be nimble if possible.” NiGHTS shrug off to say this much about Owl.
“Yes, well…I’m here to tell you about your collecting score.” Owl stated to change the subject to about the Link Challenge the group did from Octopaw.
“Oh, I hope we managed to pass okay.” Fluttershy’s spirit spoke in feeling nervous of what their score is.
“Hoo, I wouldn’t worry. You all did splendid on your run. Congratulations, all of you…your flying skills have improved.” Owl smiled off to say this that from what he could tell, the gang did well in getting plenty of Rings from Octopaw to get enough Links.
During the scene, ‘Peaceful Moment’ was heard playing in the background. This caused everyone within NiGHTS to cheer for joy, they did it; they managed to get the hang of their new flying workout. And NiGHTS of course, did her usual spin & graceful pose movement in celebrating the matter of their victory here. Truly the jester seems to get a kick out of doing that from time to time.
“I guess you’re happy to, aren’t you NiGHTS?” Rarity’s spirit asked off in noticing NiGHTS happy expression.
“Oh course, after all, you all did very well.” NiGHTS smiled off to give praise to those that also did well with this challenge.
“Well it was no big deal with me for being…awesome! But hey, at least Fluttershy & Rarity showed good moves too.” Rainbow Dash’s spirit spoke off to almost sound cocky, but was also giving credit to her friends who smile in hearing that.
“Oh, um…I’m just glad I didn’t slow anyone down is all.” Fluttershy’s spirit yelps to meekly say this out about the case.
“Ah, the modest one, now aren’t you?” Owl sighed at how much Fluttershy seem to be shy in recognizing her work.
“Well come on now, let’s get you all back to Dream Gate, you’re probably tired out a bit from this much chasing excitement.” NiGHTS suggested in where they best be off to now, to get everyone back to Dream Gate from where they started from.
And soon with some silent nods from the pony spirits, NiGHTS soon took off. And like before, Owl slowly vanished into thin air on sight. And soon everything began to fade out along the way…

Soon we see Rainbow Dash, Rarity & Fluttershy gently falling down from a starry night sky. Just before they land on the ground, the ponies almost seem to yelp from feeling their bodies were like jelly. Even though they aren’t Dualized with NiGHTS, seems they are a bit tired out from that last challenge they did back in Aqua Garden.
“Phew….I hate to complain, but I’m bushed!” Rarity sighs to wipe off the sweat from her forehead.
“Aw, you’re just saying that cause….woah!” Rainbow Dash almost said but yelps to rebalance herself while seeing…she seem a bit tired out too. “Okay, maybe that flying workout training DID tired us out a bit.” She admitted to the case in point of seeing they need to relax now.
“Ooooh, I think we should rest for a bit. Um, that is…if no one else is interested.” Fluttershy spoke up in giving a suggestion while being nervous if anyone would take it.
“Ah fine idea Fluttershy…maybe we’ll rest at My Dream.” Rarity spoke in figuring they can relax at that place to recover from being exhausted.
“Yeah, but if there are any Nightmarens, won’t be much resting.” Rainbow Dash shrug off to say in knowing that if they have to deal with pest control, then resting will be delay a bit.
“Yes, but we’ll shoo them away & then rest!” Rarity rolled her eyes before clarifying in what they do afterwards from dealing with the case.
“I can agree with that.” Fluttershy nods in feeling okay & fine with that idea.
“Okay, then let’s get moving then.” Rainbow Dash announced in what they shall do next here.
The ponies walk a bit to pass by the fountain in seeing everything was still the same. And then flying from above to drop in, was none other than their dear wise advising friend; Owl.
“I see you’re about to rest in for the moment.” Owl spoke off in noticing where this group was gonna be off to next here.
“Yes, I think we exerted ourselves a tad bit.” Rarity nods to simply state in what they would like to do next here.
“Which is why, if it’s okay that is, to take a break & go into the My Dream Door.” Fluttershy spoke kindly in wishing that they be allowed to go there right now.
“Not at all, after all, your Dream Spirits need time to recover & rest. It is only natural to do so.” Owl commented off in not being bothered, even these ponies need time to rest themselves once in a bit.
“So once we’re done, we’ll come back, okay.” Rainbow Dash explained that once they are recharge, they’ll come back then.
“I would have it no other way. Until then my friends…” Owl shook his head to simply say this in understanding completely.
And then no later, Owl soon vanished from sight again with only feathers dropped around. The ponies are gonna have to get use to the old bird pulling that trick from time to time.
“He really likes doing that to us.” Rainbow Dash stated off in seeing how Owl does that move to them.
“Oh leave him be Rainbow, come now…let us be off.” Rarity waved off to say that they shouldn’t be bothered, & should focus on where to go next.
“Right, to the My Dream realm…” Fluttershy nods off happily to say this in knowing where they are gonna go now.
With that in agreement, the ponies approach the My Dream Door that was near. After opening it, the bright light escape from it as they slowly go inside to enter the place of their relaxing personal wonders. As things begin to fade out right now as they shall take a nice rest for the time being.

Soon we find that Rainbow Dash, Rarity along with Fluttershy, ended up back in the My Dream realm. And everything seems to be the same except for the large collection of fish swimming mid-air. It was like something you only seen in one’s own dreams of fish swimming out of water, & this proves it. And from the ponies faces, they can see everything was working perfectly well, no Nightmarens, all seem perfect.
“Wow….look at all of those fishes!” Fluttershy responded to say in seeing what was now here.
“Ho-hooo yeah! WE caught a big haul alright!” Rainbow Dash bragged out in seeing that from the Bubble Match, they brought in some new things to their place.
“And look at the Nightopians, they seem tone enjoying this too.” Rarity pointed out in seeing how their own neighboring friends of this place are handling this.
And then there was something else, the same tubes that blew bubbles also made big bubbles to one in the center. And the Nightopians were playing the same game the gang saw from Aqua Garden.
“Hey, that same tube that we all played to make a bigger bubble is here too.” Rainbow Dash pointed out in seeing what was happening ahead of them, looks like another game to her.
“I guess afterwards…it became a part of this place too.” Fluttershy spoke to say in having seen what this was here.
“And it looks like the little Nightopians are playing the same game as we did.” Rarity smiled to say in seeing how much the Nightopians played the same bubble game as them.
“Are you up for another round?” Rainbow Dash asked off in feeling raring to get in there.
“Maybe later, as of right now…haaaugh, I need to rest up.” Rarity yawns a bit to feel tired that maybe they should rest before doing anything.
“Well, maybe a good nap & a quick game wouldn’t hurt, would it?” Fluttershy spoke to feel that maybe this idea could be better for them.
“Not at all Fluttershy, so you up for that later then?” Rainbow Dash smiled off to say this in knowing what they’ll do at this time.
“Oh yes…I would like to play with the Nightopians some more.” Fluttershy smiled in really liking to do that later on when they can.
And so with an agreement, the ponies are gonna take a little rest for the time being. Course while they rest, they plan to join the Bubble Match happening here as they seem to giggle at how cute & funny the Nightopians do in playing the game they did. Truly things seem to be going well so far & they can only hope it’ll continue to be well when they come across anything to find the Ideya they seek. And with that, we fade out to let those here rest for now…until the next time…
