Chapter 11: Glass Maze & Chamelan Problems!
The scene opens towards something of a strange place that seems unusual as we slowly find there was someone sleeping on the ground. And look and behold, that someone was a group, and it turns out to be Twilight, Applejack & Pinkie Pie. They slowly start to wake up a bit, feeling somewhat wobbly at first before pushing themselves to get standing. Course their surroundings seem like an open center of a castle museum, there were many fine glass windows and such all around.
“Wh…where are we?” Twilight slowly asked off in not knowing where she or the others are.
“Oh, my achin’ head!” Applejack groans to say in feeling her head at the moment.
“Ugh, feels like I had one too many tasty sugary treats before bed.” Pinkie Pie moans to say in feeling like she was not well.
“Oh no! NiGHTS!” Twilight yelps out loud in recalling what happened just now. “Girls, we’ve got to find NiGHTS!” She issued off the matter of finding their captured friend.
“Sweet Apple Corn, yer right Twilight!” Applejack yelps out to say in realizing the situation here.
“Quick! Let’s get out of this place and locate NiGHTS!” Pinkie Pie declared off in knowing what they must do.
Soon the ponies walked out the open wooden doorway before them, hoping it lead them out of here. But then without warning, Twilight’s Team ended up being back where they started from, which seem to puzzle them. Thinking they must have taken a wrong turn, they tried to go out the same wooden door before them again in hopes to be lead out. Course, the results were the same again as Twilight’s Team ended up right back from where they woke up.
“How’d we end up back here again?” Applejack asked off in not seeing how they wound up back at the beginning again.
“I’m not sure, this place should have a way out.” Twilight shook her head in being puzzled about this place and its confusing structure.
“Maybe I can navigate through this random place. Be right back!” Pinkie Pie spoke forth in readying herself to try to go through this place.
Soon Pinkie Pie rushed out the same wooden door in hoping to find some help for her friends. Twilight and Applejack were counting the moments of how long their pink friend was gone and wonder if she got out or found help until…
“HEY THERE!” Pinkie Pie pops up behind the ponies’ backs with a loud and perky smile.
“Waaaugh!” AJ & Twilight yelped out loud in being scared before turning away to look with annoyed looks at their random friend.
“Can you help me and my friends, we’re….ugh….lost?” Pinkie Pie suddenly saw that she was right back from where she started, and saw her friends were here too; she went in a circle.
“Ye gone in a circle Pinkie Pie.” Applejack groans to say in seeing what her random friend has done.
“I don’t get it, usually my random moments in random funhouses usually work out well.” Pinkie Pie replied off puzzled in what was happening here and was uncertain of this.
“Hugh, we best keep trying. No matter what, we have to get out for NiGHTS's sake.” Twilight sighs in feeling like this was tiring them out, if they can’t get out, then it’ll be impossible to help NiGHTS out from being captured.
Twilight, Applejack and Pinkie Pie try once more to search this place in hopes to find a way out of here…if they can. The scene blurs out a bit as it will be taking these ponies some time to try to figure out how to figure out where to go in this…weird palace maze.

The scene at this time, opens up towards the same glass castle, but within the hallway was none other than…Rainbow Dash’s Team! Yes, it appears that Rainbow Dash, Rarity and Fluttershy were just casually walking down the hallway without much worry or care about what was going on.
“Rainbow, should we really have come here without seeing Owl or NiGHTS?” Rarity asked in feeling that they might have been rash to come here without seeing their wise owl friend or the good jester pal of theirs.
“Relax, maybe we’ll find them somewhere here.” Rainbow Dash smiled off to easily say this to calm her buddies.
“I must admit, we’ve tour through Crystal Castle, both its land and inside building too.” Fluttershy made a lightly smile in seeing that they have done so far, a pretty good job.
“Well if we can’t find anyone here, then we best get back.” Rarity spoke off to state the matter of having been here a bit longer and still haven’t found much.
“Come on, just one more look around, that other Ideya gotta be here somewhere.” Rainbow Dash insisted that they keep trying so they can find another Ideya.
Then Team Rainbow comes across an open wooden door to lead to another room. But just as they were about to enter, Fluttershy peaked in and gasped to hid from spotting three figures in the room. Rarity and Rainbow Dash would have asked what the fuss was about, but Fluttershy hush her friends to listen…
“Ah….ahh…NiGHTS….we’re sorry.” Twilight sighed from being out of breath as she and AJ & Pinkie Pie were down in the dumps; they’ve been searching and searching but have no way of getting out of here.
Behind the door to this castle, Team Rainbow was certain those were new voices of some folks being tired out. Course much of the voice they heard was muffled off that they only heard a tired sentence ‘I’m sorry’ while not hearing the name.
“Oh my, I first thought they were Nightmarens instead of Nightopians, but…they almost look like ponies!” Fluttershy gasped in thinking there were some poor souls that were lost and though she yelp thinking they were Nightmarens, they look more like them.
“Or maybe it’s a trick, like a Nightmaren with a pony body or something. Remember the Seapos & Shleeps.” Rainbow Dash remarked off to say this in thinking they might be falling into a trap where some creatures seem friendly, but aren’t like Bomamba and her evil cats.
“Still, let’s try to communicate and see where this goes, shall we?” Rarity insisted they see if maybe those beyond this room are good or bad. “Hey. Um….do you….live here?” Rarity tilted her head on the door where she and her group hid from view.
Twilight, AJ & Pinkie Pie cease feeling depress in having heard other voices…kind ones too, but where were they coming from?
“You’re the first pony beings we’ve seen in this world.” Rarity’s voice spoke off from behind the door, trying to start a conversation here.
“Whah…No…I…we were sent here…from another world…” Twilight responded off in responding to whoever was talking to them, all while they tried to find who was here.
“Yeah! And something awful has happened to our friend…and it’s all our fault!” Pinkie Pie spoke to say this in sounding depressed again over the matter.
“Right, we’ve gotta hurry & get back ta our own world.” Applejack spoke off in sounding determine in what they need to do; all while Rainbow’s Team listen in to hear such honest words.
“Your….friend?” Fluttershy slowly spoke in feeling like hearing someone say that would not be a real Nightmaren enemy, so those on the other side must be true characters.
“Yeah. She’s waiting for us to help her.” Pinkie Pie nods in being determine about knowing about NiGHTS waiting for her group to come help out.
“If we could just find the door, we be able to get back.” Twilight looked like she felt hope was further away, they need a Door out of here so they can help NiGHTS.
“But we’re lost. We can’t even find de door in this crazy place.” Applejack stated off in seeing they can barely even get out of this place, much less alone find the right door.
Having made their decision, Team Rainbow decides to come out of hiding to help their new friends in peril.
“No problem. We know where the door is! That’s how we got here!” Rainbow Dash stood out along with Rarity and Fluttershy in making this claim of knowing what door the others mentioned about.
“Really?! Then pretty please, you’ve just gotta take us there!” Pinkie Pie smiled off when she along with Twilight & Applejack turn around to see the ones that were gonna help them out.
Suddenly, both sides took that moment to soon stare forth at the other one’s eyes before they had a slow shocking moment. The six ponies from Equestria that were brought into the Night Dimension…were at last together again.
“Twilight!” Rarity yelped off in seeing who was here.
“Rarity!” Twilight also gasped in seeing who was here too.
“Pinkie Pie?” Fluttershy responded in seeing her friend here.
“Fluttershy?” Pinkie Pie raised an eyebrow in seeing her shy pal.
“AJ!” Rainbow Dash exclaimed in spotting her tough cow-girl friend too.
“Rainbow?” Applejack raised a shock eyebrow in seeing her daring friend.
“YOUR HERE?” The Mane Six responded in union to say, this was the most unbelievable thing to ever occur.
“How did you girls end up in the Night Dimension?” Twilight asked off in how their other friends even came here.
“We could ask you the same thing! But, maybe it’s the same!” Rarity stated to say, but felt like the answer is the same anyway.
“Neat! We’re all together again!” Pinkie Pie smiled off to say that they managed to rejoin after being apart.
“We’re glad to see you’re okay.” Fluttershy smiled off to say this in having seen their friends.
“So wha are ye doing here?” Applejack raised an eyebrow in why their other pals are here.
“Exploring. And it looks like you’re in a jam.” Rainbow Dash pointed out in stating the fact of their reason of being here.
“I hate to say this, but…we don’t know anything about this place, and…” Twilight hesitated a bit while admitting the truth of the matter
“Don’t you worry darling. We will take you there.” Rarity humbly offered service to help their lost friends out in trouble.
Soon Rarity was taking the lead with Rainbow Dash & Fluttershy following along. Twilight, Applejack and Pinkie Pie felt like they had a bunch more other questions, but it probably felt better to save them for later. At this very moment, the background was playing ‘Crystal Choir: Labyrinth Guide’ at this time.
“Okay, so we gotta lead you all through the maze and escape the Palace of Glass! No problem, we’ve already explored much of this by ourselves.” Rainbow Dash bragged out in knowing what they gotta do here, help lead Twilight’s Team out of this world; sounds easy enough.
“Don’t worry, we’ll help you out.” Fluttershy spoke off in sounding very assuring of that fact.
“Wow Fluttershy, this is rare, you sounding so sure.” Pinkie Pie spoke off in hearing how determine Fluttershy is, being shy, she doesn’t show that a lot.
“Oh, really?” Fluttershy meekly spoke in her sly tone in having been told this.
“Don’t mind us, just lead de way please.” AJ asked off that their expert pals know where to go here.
Soon Rainbow’s Team leads Twilight’s Team up to the double wooden doors, and soon they…..WENT THROUGH THE FRONT WALL! In truth, it was an illusion of reflective glass that concealed a hallway, no wonder anybody could get lost on their first time here unless they have experience in what a world of glass can do. Rainbow’s Team found a red chest along the way, grabbed it to get some Blue Chips with the sharp things inside, and knew they could be useful to ward off enemies. Soon the gang came across a red staircase and follows it upwards before coming across mirror walls where either way looks real, but it may not be. Rarity used her sense of what seem like it was obvious a reflection trick to confusion them before they go the other way to help lead their lost friends and collect Blue Chips along the way.
“Amazing, we felt like we couldn’t even tell which direction was where.” Twilight spoke astounded in how they been lost, and yet their friends here knew what to do.
“Well darling, as one who looks at mirrors all the time, you tend to notice the real thing or a fake.” Rarity shrug off to say this in having a back for such things.
Rainbow’s Team continue to help lead Twilight’s Team through the very tricky mirror maze. Around a corner in where it look like another treasure chest to be found, poof out to reveal some strange turtle-like creature that seem to catch the ponies off guard. But then Rainbow Dash thrown some Blue Chips that help stun the creature and allowed them to quickly escape through.
“Where in Sam Hill did ye learn dat?” AJ asked off in seeing what their friends just did there.
“We were told to throw Blue Chips by Owl that stun Nightmarens. He was very nice to tell us this.” Fluttershy spoke to say this with a smile on her face to explain this info that was helpful.
“Just what was that?” Twilight asked off in pondering what that strange turtle was, it must have been a Nightmaren.
“I think we asked that question when we browse this place and they’re apparently called Murtles.” Rarity pondered off in recalling that when they saw certain creatures, they were told what they were called.
“Wow, they kinda remind me of some story involving a Murtle & being called a Turtle.” Pinkie Pie spoke off in randomly saying something, much to everyone’s confusion.
“Guess when you think back to subjects, you can be a little random Pinkie Pie. But let’s stay focus here, kay?” Rainbow Dash asked off to say this about her random pink friend before they had to move along.
The gang continues on going down the right pathway that was not a trick of the mirror. And for sometimes, there were REAL red chest that contain Blue Chips, and if they have them, they can be well defended against any Nightmaren. Right now they begin making their way through another wall that was an illusion and lead to more upper red staircases that lead to a little more lighting of another maze. There was a Seapos Nightmaren that was in the way, but Pinkie Pie toss one Blue Chip that help stun it and allowed the gang to continue on to get by the maze & collect any available Blue Chips lying around. There were even some familiar Time Chips that could help them rewind time for a short moment they wanna redo something, even Twilight was amazed by these findings.
“Ye sure have been busy, haven’t yah?” Applejack asked off in seeing how busy their other pals have been since they were apart.
“Like you would not believe, AJ.” Rainbow Dash rolled her eyes to make a joke about the matter.
“Neat. So have we!” Pinkie Pie smiled off to say this like they been busy too.
“Well, at least we’re getting comfortable in how to handle ourselves.” Fluttershy meekly spoke in trying to sound positive about something.
Then the gang come into a new open room where two Seapos hovered around to stop them. But with the Blue Chips, they managed to stun them Nightmarens so much, it left them dizzy. And from behind them, another doorway pathway was seen, and so the ponies took that path in hoping it lead somewhere less…crowded. After coming into another maze area, Fluttershy and Rarity used their Blue Chips to stun and eventually confuse Murtles that came out of nowhere while collecting blue Blue Chips along the path or any chest they found. Sometimes navigating through such hard puzzling cases could get irritating, but after finding another staircase to go up, the gang took it. Course Seapos got in the way, but they were soon dealt with while they were making their way up to find….an open hallway entrance and what looks like ahead was the outside world.
“Looky there!” Applejack pointed in seeing their way out of this place.
“It’s the exit to the outside!” Twilight stated in smiling that she and her group that got sent here can get out now.
“And towards where the Door is. RACE YA THERE!” Pinkie Pie cheered forth in making this into a little game.
But just as Pinkie Pie ran to where freedom was, she un-expectively rammed into an invisible mirror wall that block their way. Even Rarity said they never came across that earlier, it must have activated when they entered first. And when Rainbow’s Team looked up, they saw a strange sphere object floating above. Perhaps that was the object that they need to get out of here. Then appearing out of nowhere from flashes of light, invisible glass cubes are seen in the room where…they make a stack block staircase going up and possibly…towards that unknown object of importance.
“Ow, why was there something there?” Pinkie Pie moans from feeling something hit her hard.
“Cause it looks like that’s what keeps it on.” Rainbow Dash pointed out that her friend didn’t see what got in her way.
“So we gotta get dat there object?” Applejack looks up in seeing the object that’s still keeping them inside.
“Apparently so. But I can’t fly or use magic.” Twilight stated to say while signing in knowing they are out of luck.
“It’s okay Twilight, neither of us can too.” Fluttershy smiles to pat her friend to cheer up.
“But there may be a way to do it, it’s a bit rough, but it’ll have to do. Follow us please, we’re going to climb up some block stairs.” Rarity simply stated to say this while sighing that she’ll have to do labor work, but one must make sacrifices it seems.
Having understood what they need to do, the ponies needed to wait for the right lighting to enter the room to reveal the hidden glass cubes and start climbing. It was hard, and sometimes Twilight & Fluttershy almost slip, but their friends were there to help reach out and catch them to pull them up. And after getting to the top, they ran for the floating object before obtaining it and then dropdown to the ground. They saw that the hidden glass barrier was gone, and now they could exit out of the building. At that same moment when they finally got to the clear outside of the building, ‘Peaceful Moment’ began to play off at this time.
“Alright! Made it out!” Rainbow Dash cheered forth in seeing they did it, they got out.
“You see darlings, we said we help.” Rarity proudly stated this to Twilight’s Team of having helped out.
“I have to admit, you girls actually knew what to do more than me.” Twilight smiles a bit in being thankful her friends were here to help.
“An’ dat there’s de honest truth.” Applejack nods off to agree on the case in point here.
“So you wanna show us the way to your Door?” Pinkie Pie smiled to ask this next question that was on their minds.
“Oh yes, of course. Right this way, um…if you please.” Fluttershy kindly spoke while shyly saying this in her meekly tone.
Now it was just simply leading Twilight’s Team to the Door that Rainbow’s Team know where its location is. The gang quickly rushes outside as the scene fades a bit to skip across what happens next. During the same time, the background music had also ended at this time too.
Soon it wasn’t long before the scene changes to the outside part of Crystal Castle, right where the Door that would lead to Dream Gate was. Rainbow’s Team leads Twilight’s Team across the field to approach the Door that the formers came from.
“It’s de Door!” Applejack pointed out in recognizing that very door they seen when they entered their own Nightopia places.
Soon AJ, Pinkie Pie and even Twilight race off to reach the Door, leaving Rainbow Dash Rarity and Fluttershy in the dust before catching up. Once they were close enough to its area, Twilight’s Team felt like their lost hope of never getting back was renewed just now, thanks to their friends.
“Thanks a lot you guys! Now we can get back to my world.” Pinkie Pie smiled off to say this in feeling so thankful here.
“Ugh, Pinkie, we all come from the same world.” Rainbow Dash pointed out this fact of what her pink friend was getting off saying about Equestria.
“She means the Nightopia world where we were.” Twilight pointed out with a roll eye expression of how silly that question was; it help her smile a bit.
“Oh, well in that case, no problem.” Rarity smiled off to say that such a thing was no bother to them at all.
“Um, we hope your friend is okay.” Fluttershy kindly spoke in wishing to make sure Twilight’s Team who have an important friend in need, is gonna be okay.
“We hope so too. Ye like her when ye get around ta meet her.” AJ smiled off in knowing that if the others here meant NiGHTS, they really like her too.
“If she’s as awesome as another friend we met here, I say yeah.” Rainbow Dash bragged out this comment to make a good rep for when Twilight’s Team meets their new pal NiGHTS.
“Well do be careful out there, okay?” Rarity asked off in wishing her other friends here be safe from danger.
“Yeah, we will. Thanks again, girls.” Twilight nods her head to agree to that thought, as she, AJ & Pinkie Pie gave little farewell waves before heading to the Door.
Rainbow Dash, Rarity and Fluttershy also waved to Twilight’s Team heading on out. They smiled while watching their friends now head off to return to Dream Gate to help their friend in need. At least they know that these three ponies are not alone no more, now that they learn their other Mane Six members are around, they feel alright. And hopefully, whoever is looking after Twilight’s group is just as great a friend as their own protector, NiGHTS. And with that, everything begins to fade out at this time…

The scene shows Twilight, Applejack and Pinkie Pie slowly and gently falling through the starry skies. And soon these three ponies manage to return to Dream Gate from whence they came from. If it weren’t for the meeting with Rainbow Dash, Rarity and Fluttershy, Twilight’s Team would have been stuck in Crystal Castle while being lost and would not have been able to return to help NiGHTS in peril.
“Hoo, oh my, Twilight, Applejack, Pinkie Pie! You’re all alright!” Owl came in to flap his wings before he landed on a nearby rock, panting from being exhausted.
“Yep, we managed to find our way back.” Pinkie Pie smiled off to say that they are back again.
“Owl, what’s happen back in Lost Park? What happen with NiGHTS?” Twilight asked in feeling concern from what happened before they were sent away by Reala’s Paraloop.
“I’m afraid she’s still captured and is being guarded. Hoo…” Owl sadly inform the group here about NiGHTS' case of being held captive still.
“Then we’ll just have ta bust her out of there!” Applejack declared forth in what they do about this.
“Well, I don’t mean to sound rushing of things, but NiGHTS really is in a spot of bother right now…you all best hurry to get her out of that cage!” Owl kindly was requesting that they need to hurry up and rescue NiGHTS, post haste.
“We will Owl, and how about you? You took a beating for us.” Twilight nods to say while checking on this old and concern owl that wanted to protect them before Reala knock him away.
“I’ll be fine, I maybe old, but I’ll recover slowly.” Owl slowly responded in feeling a little bruise, but not the worse for wear. “Until then, good luck to you.” Owl issued off this last statement to those before him.
With that, Owl vanished from sight while his feathers fell off and landed on the ground afterwards. But of course, Twilight’s group was used to seeing that by now at least a bit.
“Come ow, we got a friend ta save!” Applejack issued off to say this in what they gotta do next.
“Tally-hoo!” Pinkie Pie cheered with a battle cry in knowing it’s time to get moving.
Soon Twilight’s Team approached the Door that would lead them back towards Lost Park. And from opening the Door, the white light enveloped them while they enter through. It’s time this group returns to help rescue their captive friend from danger. With that, the scene blurs out in white at this time.

At the moment, we find the scene opening up back towards Lost Park, where we find Twilight’s Team slowly creeping around some rocky rocks that gave them cover. During which, the background started to play ‘Wandering Wildness’ just now. And just up ahead of them, was the chain leading up to the cage prison where NiGHTS was flying around, trying to struggle for her freedom. But it was not working so much out and the ponies below decided to give a good run when it was clear. Twilight, AJ & Pinkie Pie had to climb up the chain that was apparently much longer than before and tried to be quick to avoid being attacked by the Goodles. Soon they managed to reach the bottom and enter into the cage, where the ponies smiled upon reaching their friend NiGHTS.
“Girls! You’re safe!” NiGHTS exclaimed in sounding relieved to see Twilight’s little group okay from harm.
“We were in a snag, but got out of it.” AJ stated off to mention this little fact of what they’ve been through.
“Right, from a little help.” Pinkie Pie smiled to nod that they got help to return here.
“Right now, we’re here to help get you out of here.” Twilight stated in that they have comeback to help their friend out.
“Then you know the drill, time to Dualize!” NiGHTS smiled to say this in seeing what it’s time for them to do next here.
Having heard that message, Pinkie Pie came up front while NiGHTS touch her hoof and soon a familiar light blue light escaped from them before…NiGHTS managed to escape the cage with the ponies now as spirits inside the jester’s body. And soon we see NiGHTS fly off to go through some Rings, Paraloop Blue Chips, ram near a floating television while trying to catch the first Goodle. As they went around a floating tree, AJ noticed some floating spiky ball ring, and went through instead of impacting it to deal them damage. After passing more Rings, there was a Goodle on a gigantic pink bird just ahead of them. Soon NiGHTS took a dive into the water where she surprisingly transforms into her dolphin form for the first time to Twilight’s group.
“Ye change into a dolphin!” AJ’s spirit exclaimed in being surprised by this new little feat.
“Yes, since you got the Dolphin Persona mask, now when I’m with you all, I can transform into this.” NiGHTS spoke off in stating this is a new ability to her transformation power.
“Wow, that’s amazing!” Pinkie Pie’s spirit replied off in finding this to be exciting news.
“Thanks for the heads up about that, now we can fight well underwater.” Twilight’s spirit exclaimed to say in feeling that will be helpful during their adventures.
Now Dolphin NiGHTS swings through the ocean waters before popping out of there to fly again in the open as her jester self while going through more Rings. And just after passing by the roller coaster setup, AJ took the chance to perform Drill Dashes to catch up and then land a blow on the Goodle. With that, the gigantic bird screech before it and its rider vanish into darkness, leaving the gang their first key. And as they arrived at the cage, they managed to smash through it, giving them the first freedom for NiGHTS.
“We got the first cage.” Twilight’s spirit stated in seeing that’s one cage gone now.
“Then that leaves two to go!” Pinkie Pie smiled forth to say in mentioning the numbers.
“Ready fer this one, NiGHTS?” AJ’s spirit asked her friend if she was ready for the next part.
“You know it.” NiGHTS responded off to say this with a proud smile on her face.
Soon the gang and NiGHTS fly off towards another part of this wide open canyon place filled with a park. As they fly through a canyon, collect Rings, pop a big balloon and spot another Goodle on a gigantic green bird. NiGHTS was being controlled by Pinkie Pie in seeing the target go through a spot while Drill Dash to destroy a giant boulder that block a track on its track. And now as NiGHTS chases the next target, the train that was freed runs off quickly on the track, doing some amazing stunts before it got stuck by another boulder, but Pinkie Pie had NiGHTS smash it to help it go forth.
“Pinkie, why did ye do dat extra task?” AJ’s spirit asked off in seeing they were wasting time when they could be chasing that Goodle with the key.
“Cause, it’s a theme park, and it’s no fun if the trains’ tracks are all block off.” Pinkie Pie’s spirit spoke off to say this in what her reason of being was all about here.
“This is her world, so it makes sense she wants to help make it better.” NiGHTS stated in knowing that Pinkie Pie was only doing what she thought could be helpful.
“You’re right NiGHTS, after all, it is a world of paradise Pinkie probably wanted to envision.” Twilight’s spirit nods in agreeing to that term, Pinkie Pie is all about making sure everyone can laughing play.
While helping out the Lost Park be more fun was important to Pinkie Pie, they needed to catch the Goodle before time ran out. And while collecting the Rings and Blue Chips, the gang got lucky to be near a double jar cannon which NiGHTS went into, fired off, and caught to toss the Goodle into the water. The gigantic bird made its screech cry while it and the Goodle vanish into darkness while NiGHTS transformed into a dolphin as they obtain the second key. They swim through the waters before being shot out another cannon out and transform back into the jester form. And from finding another cannon nearby, fired NiGHTS off quickly to find the second cage before smashing it to bits, securing the second freedom of being caged.
“That’s another cage down.” Twilight’s spirit stated in the next cage they destroyed.
“Just one more ta go!” AJ’s spirit stated forth in what they gotta do next here.
“Then we best find the final Key Keeper.” NiGHTS issued this matter to her friends here.
“Right-o!” Pinkie Pie’s spirit saluted in having heard that and is raring to go.
Now it was time to find the last Goodle with the final key in its hold. Soon after spotting the Goodle, Twilight had to be ahead of the game, and watch out for spiky balls that almost got them to go through some Rings. Then going towards a jar cannon, shot NiGHTS into the water where it looks like Dolphin NiGHTS was chasing after it’s foe in the water. After passing through the other obstacles to pop out of the water, NiGHTS change back while now currently flying with a strong gust of wind along the path. The area look like giant planets growing around the floating rocks and a few shifts and turns were needed before the gang and NiGHTS were using much Drill Dash actions to catch up. In some cases, they were getting a boost of speed from bouncing off of balloon clouds to catch the Goodle on a gigantic blue bird.
“Wee! This is fun!” Pinkie Pie’s spirit cheered in feeling like she was having fun bouncing off clouds.
“I knew clouds could be solid fer Pegasus, but how us?” AJ’s spirit asked off puzzled in how this sorta feat was even possible.
“I guess for a theme park place, bouncy clouds was something only Pinkie Pie thought up from her heart!” Twilight’s spirit exclaimed in having thought that idea about their pink friend.
“Let’s keep this up girls, we’re gaining on him.” NiGHTS issued off to say in seeing their progress here.
Soon NiGHTS was passing through floating tower buildings in the skies while chasing after the Goodle. Then in a sudden moment from bouncing off of clouds that help not only get more Rings, but brought NiGHTS closer to Drill Dash, grab and toss the Goodle off. With that, the gigantic bird screech while it’s rider vanished under the clouds while the gang obtain the final key. Soon that left going through the last little bit of an area that had a rail track. But in a sudden motion, NiGHTS got there, something unexpected happened…she transformed again. This time into some Roller Coaster version of which the jester was the same in color and appearance, just differently theme of what to appear as.
“Ye can turn into a roller coaster?” AJ’s spirit asked off surprise to see this sorta feat from NiGHTS about now.
“Wow, that’s neat-o!” Pinkie Pie’s spirit perk up to say in liking this sorta new feeling.
“Better fasten your seatbelt!” NiGHTS issued this off to her friends in what to do here.
“I’m wondering if you actually have any,” Twilight’s spirit questioned if NiGHTS, being a roller coaster, would even come with seatbelt.
Now Roller Coaster NiGHTS was rolling on down across the tracks, expanding its legs to stretch and grab more Rings in the air from either left, right or center. And once the gang were off the tracks, NiGHTS change back to her jester self to fly ahead. They came near another jar cannon, it fired them off to score some Rings and Blue Chips and they continue to fly the path where there was more Rings ahead. And then finally at the end, they saw the last cage before smashing it to pieces; thereby completing the task of gaining NiGHTS freedom after taking down the Key Keepers.
“We did it!” Pinkie Pie’s spirit cheered forth in liking this little happy moment here.
“We gone and won de day here partners!” AJ’s spirit declared off in seeing they have achieved victory here.
“I’m glad we mangled to do it.” Twilight’s spirit sighs in relief, now it’s over at last.
But then NiGHTS expression went from a smile of joy for their succession to that of concern in sensing something was not right. Like there was another presence that was about to reveal itself to them.
“Better hold off the celebration, looks like we’re about to have more company!” NiGHTS exclaimed to say this with a serious face in knowing something was coming.
Course as everyone was feeling glad about NiGHTS’s freedom, the jester seem to feel that they were not truly done yet for some reason. Then as if on the scene, the skies began to turn into a familiar theme of red? And then if that wasn’t enough, the realm started to blur out around NiGHTS & the pony spirits. Once that was over, they soon vanish from sight to be taken….somewhere else to face an unknown foe.

Suddenly, we find ourselves in another realm that is completely nightmarish in many ways to be seen. And from the center of it was a strange creature to boot. This one appeared like a humanoid reptilian wizard that resembles a chameleon. He sports the four shapes of the four playing card suites (hearts, clubs, diamonds, and spades) on his colorful tuxedo and hat. The background was playing ‘Cacking Chamelan’ for the theme here. He seem to let off a cackle, and shows playing cards up his left hand. He throws them out and they magically setup like card stack walls. Then without warning, the new enemy suddenly did a chameleon act to blend in to vanish from sight during one card that had the ‘Ace’ mark on it. As NiGHTS & the pony spirits were watching this happen, they found themselves in an arena that takes place in a surreal cavern with playing cards and floating spotlights.
“Where de Heck are we now?” AJ’s spirit asked off in seeing that they ended up in a weird place.
“This has Chamelan written all over it!” NiGHTS exclaimed to say in knowing where and just who was responsible for this matter.
“Who’s that?” Pinkie Pie’s spirit asked off in not liking the sounds of who the new foe is.
“A Second-Level Nightmaren, he’s brought us here to this place.” NiGHTS explained of who it was they are now facing, a new and stronger Nightmaren opponent. “Consider him a pushover because he does not actually fight when you face him. He instead uses the Jacks, Queens, and Kings to attack and we’ll have to evade them.” She explained the case in what Chamelan is known to do and what he does, uses tricks and illusions to do his dirty work on the gang.
“So how can we fight him?” Twilight’s spirit asked in not knowing how they can fight such a sneaky foe.
“We’ll have to use a Paraloop to find the magician Chamelan hiding in the spatial distortion!” NiGHTS explained the case; that is their only option to help narrow out where Chamelan is hiding at this time.
NiGHTS then quickly had to do a Paraloop just as the play cards wall appeared before the gang. During which, Chamelan yelps from being caught in that attack which hurt him. As he vanishes, NiGHTS was flying around in which there seem no end to this unusual place. But there was something swirling behind that look like something evil mix of Jacks, Queens, & Kings coming to attack the gang.
“I can’t believe we’re being chase by Jacks, Kings & Queens.” Applejack’s spirit rolled her eyes in seeing what they got to be dealing with here as enemy attacks.
“I’m just glad there are no Jokers, they’ll be really hard to get by. Especially when they aren’t funny clowns but scary reapers.” Pinkie Pie’s spirit spoke off to mention this, the Joker cards are always, ALWAYS unknown for being funny or scary.
“NiGHTS, they’re trying to get us with their attacks!~” Twilight’s spirit stated to her friend in seeing these cards were really cutting it close.
“Don’t worry, just try to stay clear and try to not get hit.” NiGHTS explained the matter of how to handle this, and they’ll be okay a bit.
Trying to survive what was upon them, between heart attacks, swords swings, it was the weirdest card trick one has ever seen. There was a floating spotlight moving around, sometimes it shine a bit on where the Nightmaren was hiding. AJ had NiGHTS do some Paraloops to get rid of the attacking play cards which seemingly helped out. Suddenly, questions marks appear on the curtain of the entire arena realm.
“What’s going on?” Pinkie Pie asked off in not knowing what’s going on around them.
“We delay long enough from not finding Chamelan. We have to get back on track if we wanna win this.” NiGHTS explained in seeing what has happened, they need to pick up the pace to win this fight.
“Well this here is some hay problem we got.” AJ’s spirit remotely stated in seeing this just makes things worse for them.
“Can we still do the Paraloops to find him?” Twilight’s spirit asked their jester friend if they can expose Chamelan.
“That’s the plan, now come on!” NiGHTS insisted that they continue doing what they can.
As NiGHTS tries to make bigger Paraloops, they reveal plants in the background. It’s like this arena is shrouded by a void with plant life hidden behind it. Evil cackling is heard, and Pinkie Pie took over to help speed up the Paraloops to which there were hidden play cards with numbers. Then without warning, the backside of more play cards came around the walls, and NiGHTS had to go through a green Ring bunch to build up strength.
“Uh oh! More tricky cards are showing up!” Pinkie Pie’s spirit yelps in spotting what was coming at them again.
“Remember, focus on finding Chamelan.” NiGHTS reminded the pony spirits of what to focus on, the trickster, not the tricks themselves.
“We need to pick up more speed.” Twilight’s spirit stated in what they have to do to get away from the attack and find the hidden attacker.
“Then let’s get cracking here gang!” AJ’s spirit issued off in determination here on what to do.
The gang are really in knee deep of what they got going here, but they try to use NiGHTS’s Drill Dash to speed pass things to try to Paraloop anything to help them find and attack Chamelan. But as they get further away from the wall of cards, they come across the question mark curtain area where it look like their earlier work had not vanished. So maybe the Nightmaren is hiding somewhere around here, they need to just try harder especially with that cackle noise they keep hearing.
“Wait, look…there’s a disturbance!” NiGHTS pointed out in spotting something just nearby.
Looking back at the spot of plants, the background cards showed the form of ‘Ace’ logos. And in the center of the circle, it look like there was something shifting within the spatial space.
“Dat must be where de varmint was hiding’ from!” AJ’s spirit exclaimed in seeing where their target was hiding from them.
“Then what are we waiting for?” Pinkie Pie’s spirit spoke forth in seeing this was their chance now.
“Okay then…let’s put an end to this cat and mouse game!” Twilight’s spirit declared off in seeing this was the time to act out now.
Soon the gang had NiGHTS perform a Paraloop in that spot, and then just like that, the portal suck in something from what was hiding; Chamelan. Twilight took control to help calculate NiGHTS to perform a second Paraloop before they lose track of Chamelan and they succeed that it cause the lizard to yelp in pain while seemingly spiraling back into the forest. At that same time, ‘Peaceful Moment’ was heard in the background. And from close view, Chamelan had vanished into the plant life from being caught and taken care of pretty okay, thus signaling his defeat.
“Did we do it?” Pinkie Pie’s spirit asked off in hoping they did something now.
“Looks like it.” AJ’s spirit nods off to say this in seeing that sent the lizard Nightmaren packing.
“Well I’ll bet this battle was a lot more harder than you thought.” NiGHTS issued off to smile at her friends in having managed to handle Chamelan okay.
“It was, it’s like trying to unveil a magician’s tricks of illusions.” Twilight’s spirit sighed in relief in knowing that figuring out an enemy’s tricks are no easy feat.
“Good thing we managed to not be taken in, right?” Pinkie Pie’s spirit smiled off to simply say this in a positive opinion.
“So what now?” AJ’s spirit asked off in what happens after they defeated their enemy.
“Now we can finally get out of here and head on home.” NiGHTS stated off to say this much to her pony spirit friends. “At least back to Dream Gate. Ready girls?” She shrug off to say in knowing where they can at least go, and check to see if the others are ready.
“Ready!” The pony spirits responded in being ready to leave this bad little place behind.
At that moment, NiGHTS & the gang prepared to leave this terrible nightmarish realm behind them. As it began to blur out and gave them a chance to escape and return back towards Dream Gate. At least now, Twilight, Applejack & Pinkie Pie smile in having rescue their friend and help defeat another tough enemy along the way. And with that, everything goes dark around this time in signing off a nice moment for the gang…what happens next time, we’ll have to wait and see…
