Chapter 05: Chasing & Storm Watch!
At this moment, we see how things are handling within Equestria, back at the Rainbow Castle. Right now, Ben has been getting help from his mom & his daughter, assistance from Starlight Glimmer, Spike & Phobos to keep the matter involving Twilight & the Council of Friendship a secret from the public’s eyes. At this very second of the time, we focus on the capsule chamber room within the castle, where we see Goldie’s group trying to work hard on stabilizing Twilight & the others' bodies while their Dream Spirits have been sent into the Night Dimension, learning that a powerful foe was behind this, but learning that there is a possible guardian to help the gang out, two feelings clash of worry and belief.
“How are their vital signs Omega?” Sombra asked the bot in being concern about the signs of life from the six sleeping bodies.
“Still within the clear.” Omega responded to say this in giving good news.
“That’s good, it’s been almost a whole day by now.” Autumn Gem sighs to say this in feeling like one whole day has made them somewhat edgy.
"Just that much would have shown strange results if not for the equipment here!" Fila exclaimed from knowing of what could have happened if they did not have this capsule stuff to keep their friends’ health stable.
“We can only hope that we keep them going, wherever their Dream Spirits are, we can’t reach them.” Jack Zen spoke to say this with a frown, knowing this is all they can do right now.
“Yahoo! I got it!” Pinkamena’s voice was heard from across the room in sounding somewhat pleased.
At that same moment, Discord happened to pop in like magic to see how things were going.
“Did I hear someone say they have something? Hopefully it’s not my golden horseshoe…which in truth, I sorta borrowed from you, Goldie?” Discord asked off the question while waving around a single golden hoof.
“Hey!” Goldie snatched that golden hoof shoe from Discord; that was his. “Never mind, sis, what are you talking about?” He run the focus in what his sister was talking about.
“You guys recall when I was in that coma & the ones outside used a camera to watch, right?” Pinkamena pointed out this information about a past event.
Slowly, everyone that was a part of that matter nod in recalling that event Pinkamena fell in a coma & Goldie went in to help wake her up. It was a scary adventure probably not many will forget.
“Ah yes, that was one of my old tricks back in the day. But…what about it?” Discord spoke in recalling that time, but was puzzled in what they were bringing that up for.
“I collected Rainbow’s old spy cameras & help reconstruct them, now they’re Spy Cams with Wings!” Pinkamena showed off two spy cams with insect wing designs to look like bugs.
In a few moments, everyone was studying what the pink pony has done in making something like these appear to them.
“I get it, you wanna use these little Spy Bugs & send them into Twilight & the others dreams so we can watch them from afar & see how well they are doing.” Discord spoke in slowly getting a vivid idea in what the plan was here.
“Yep, plus…if they are separated, one will keep an eye out for the other.” Pinkamena stated to say this which cause some nods from the others.
“Intriguing, but…what if they get destroyed like the last one?” Discord pointed out in recalling what happened with his own spot cam ploy.
“That’s where this little feature comes in.” Pinkamena smiled in making this be seen.
Suddenly, the cameras started to come online before silently flying around the group in being so quiet, they don’t make much a sound.
“Yes, very interesting, silent noise makers, nice touch, but is that all they can do?” Discord asked a little less amuse by this, so the thing can fly, not that impressive.
Then without warning, the Spy Bugs made a strange magical cloak function work to cover their shells. And soon they appeared invisible to the naked eye, Goldie’s bunch was shock at seeing this.
“Where did they go?” Jack Zen asked this off before the Spy Bugs reappeared near Pinkamena’s side.
“Sis, did you put in some sorta cloaking device?” Goldie asked in having a feeling his sister did that to make the things more useful.
“Yeah, that way, they can’t been seen much by our enemies. And they can’t be heard, it’s a near-perfect plan.” Pinkamena nods proudly in saying she made sure that not many foes could hit what they can’t hear or see.
“I must say, it is somewhat interesting. Wish I thought of something like that.” Discord rub his chin with a smile in liking that idea very much.
So far, things seem to be looking good, maybe that can be a useful plan to send in these spy cams to help watch their friends….
“But…aren’t the others in another dimension & that we can’t magically send these things in their dreams?” Autumn Gem suddenly cuts in to state a serious drawback on the plan itself that was miscalculated.
There was silence that filled the air along with a record scratching noise that cut in during this moment. That sudden reminder of recalling that Twilight & friends have to have their very souls in their bodies to magically send in someone to help or place in spy cams was the issue…except their Dream Spirits are not there, they are in another dimension. That caused everyone to slowly begin to lose their confidence in the plan.
“Doh! I completely forgot, unlike me when Goldie came to save me, my spirit & body were together, I knew I should have carried that last equation about long distance of the two & different dream realm steps!” Pinkamena slapped her forehead to complain in having forgotten about such an important issue about what she experience & what her friends are currently experiencing right now.
“Hmmm….well maybe things are not a total lost, what say about…a Plan B?” Discord hummed to himself in feeling that maybe it’s time to aid in this little case.
Soon Discord snapped his fingers, watch made a new monitor screen show up across the room off the wall for many to see. It was sorta amazing that earn their attention.
“What is this Discord?” Sombra asked in not knowing what the guy brought to them.
“I recall Twilight having some Universal Device to speak to others from different worlds, so…I figure we can try something but in a more…Dream state. Say help to the Universal Dream Monitor.” Discord shrug off to playfully state the matter before introducing a device to help them watch things from a dream perspective view of things, in one way of speaking.
Everyone was a bit puzzled while lightly curious, this thing sounds something Twilight would like to study, but of course, she’s out cold for now.
“Discord, that’s perfect! I was thinking of trying that idea next!” Pinkamena smiled in excitement to see this machine that could be useful to them. “That would allow us to see what’s going on while we keep at what we’re doing for those here.” She stated the possible fact of how much this will help them in their case, & be very good to have it be handy.
“I can possibly hook myself up to update what is currently going on.” Omega stated to say that he can be the one to watch on the monitor & alert of anything to his friends.
"Just be careful that it's not too much a burden for you, Omega." Fila asked this off to which Omega lightly nodded to her worries for him.
“Then it’s agree, let’s do what we can here & then see if the monitor shows us anything about what’s happening to their Dream Spirits.” Goldie smiled to say this in seeing that with this, they can tell if something might happen with Twilight & her friends as Dream Spirits.
“Yes, but be warn….this will be experimental & the signals are not so strong. Besides…with the enemy being Wizeman, its best we not watch too long or he will do something about it to cut anyone from interfering.” Discord forewarns the others that this device can only work so good that they can get little views of what they can only see, the rest maybe static & the last thing they want is to be caught; NOT a good thing to go with.
Many were nodding in agreement, while they quickly return to doing what they were doing before to make sure the capsule chambers work fine to keep the sleeping bodies of the Mane Six in check. During the time, Pinkamena looks at the sleeping six mares with a sorrow, but concern face.
“Hugh, even if they manage to master the realm, if they encounter Phantom Pie, I fear that troubles will be even harder for our friends along with the Guardian of Dreams there.” Pinkamena sighs to say this in feeling that her friends will be up against some real hard times, especially when they may face one old foe of hers if she’s there; but the pink pony feels that her foe is. “But I won’t lose hope, I know they can do it…but they will have to be brave when facing their worse enemies. Even someone like her!” She tried to put on a brave face to not lose hope & to keep on a brave face to not be discourage.
After having that peep-talk with herself, Pinkamena sat down near a console to continue working on reading out any signs of what’s happening to the Mane Six’s vital signs. All she & Goldie’s group can do is keep the bodies stable even without their Dream Spirits & hope for the best that Twilight & her friends return back safely. It won’t be easy, but they’ll just have to believe in their friends for now…

At this very moment, the scene opens up towards Dream Gate, where everything was still as it was as we last saw it. But then from the Door that lead to My Dream, it began to open again & soon coming out of it was none other than Twilight, Pinkie Pie & Applejack. They appear well-rested & seem to have gotten by nicely from enjoying a little rest spot in their own dream wonderland.
“Well girls, here we are.” Twilight spoke to say this in seeing they are now back in the place where the fountain was.
“Back out in this here place.” Applejack nodded off to say this in agreement here.
“Aww & we were having such fun too!” Pinkie Pie moans to say that they were having such fun back in the My Dream place.
“Remember Pinkie, we got an important job to do, remember?” Twilight reminded her friend that they gotta do something else at this time.
“Like finding them Ideya things, right?” Applejack stated in knowing of what they gotta do to help out.
“Right, if what Owl said is true, they must be hidden. And if we have one that it feels like a portion of the Elements of Harmony, then we need all five together to help us out.” Twilight explained that they need to find out where the other four Ideya of theirs are, maybe together when brought, can help them out.
“And possibly help us get home too!” Pinkie Pie spoke off in recalling what else they’ll be doing along the way.
“Right, in any case, let’s go.” Twilight nods off to say this in knowing what they gotta go for. “Staying here won’t get us anywhere.” She pointed this out in knowing what needs to be done.
“Ye got it Twilight! Time ta hustle now!” Applejack nods in feeling pretty determine about now. “Besides, I like ta figure out why dat first Nightopia seem familiar ta me.” She spoke off in feeling like that Pure Valley seem to get to her.
“Then it’s off to that place!” Pinkie Pie cheered to say this in knowing what this calls for.
“Then I take it you’re ready.” NiGHTS spoke off from flying down to meet the others.
“NiGHTS!” Twilight, Pinkie Pie & Applejack responded in seeing their friendly jester was now here.
“Glad to see you recovered much, now I’ll be waiting for you on the other side.” NiGHTS pointed out to the Door in question in saying she’ll wait for those to come meet her.
Then with that, NiGHTS soon phase through the Door to await Twilight, AJ & Pinkie Pie to follow along, which the three ponies nod their heads in seeing what they must do now. Soon the three mares slowly move up to the Door that would take them to Pure Valley as they slowly open it up to where they are showered by its light & energize butterflies before everything blinds the screen. And so, they are off on their next task here…

At this very moment, the scene opens back into Pure Valley, but there was something new going on. During which a background called ‘Cowardly Custard’ was heard. As we see NiGHTS was soaring across the skies while leaving a little star dust trail. But ahead of the jester, there was a strange object that seem to be pulsing with life. It was a strange large blue & pink jar was sitting in the center & with a strange creature inside. When the creature from the jar came out, it resembled an Octopus in basic shape, only it has the same color scheme as the light blue jar & had pink spots upon it. It looked around being all curious of its surroundings here. During the moment, NiGHTS stood up right while in mid-air, hands to her hips while the spirit form of Applejack was in control while Twilight & Pinkie Pie watch from what was going on.
“Oh ho hoo! Octopaw has squirreled himself away in that jar.” Owl was seen flapping his wings to join NiGHTS & friends in identifying the creature in question.
“Octopaw?” The pony spirits responded a bit puzzled in not knowing what sorta creature this guy was.
“Octopaw is….an unusual creature. When he flies, he expels a series of rings.” Owl calmly explained the case of what Octopaw was & what he happens to do.
“Hey! He ran off!” Applejack pointed out in seeing Octopaw was running off after getting out of his jar.
“Actually, he’s hovering off.” Pinkie Pie corrected the term of what they are seeing the guy do was flat off, not run off; big difference.
“Come on girls. Shall we have some fun,” NiGHTS spoke off in trying to make an interesting conversation while sounding excited. “Let’s follow him. Let’s see how many of those rings we can fly through!” NiGHTS suggested this to hold up her right hand to squeeze it in sounding determine, as a way to pass the time to help them out.
“Well….I suppose that would help us out. Okay…” Twilight lightly shrug off to say in seeing now harm in doing that.
During the same moment, the background changed to play ‘Catch Me If You Can’ for this next event. Soon those in NiGHTS began to soar off after Octopaw, seeing this as a way to just have some fun while also giving the Visitors more flying practice & such. As soon as the octopus creature started to create some golden orb Rings, that was the time to start flying on through them.
“Hoo, remember. This Link Challenge is a mission to see how many Links you can chain together. Try to get at least 30 Links if you can!” Owl was flying by to explain the state of what those here need do to complete this side-challenge.
“Can’t we catch up an’ be behind de critter?” Applejack’s spirit asked off in thinking of what they do.
“No! While Octopaw is harmless & very cowardly, it will run for its life as soon as it sees a human.” Owl shook his head ‘no’ while explaining the case in point to not truly catch up to the Octopaw.
“But we’re ponies.” Pinkie Pie’s spirit pointed out that they aren’t humans, so that won’t be bad, right.
“But NiGHTS does look human enough?” Twilight’s spirit stated that since they are Dualize with NiGHTS, the jester appears to look human enough for Octopaw to believe he is.
“Just remember, if you chase it persistently, it will shoot ink at you.” Owl forewarn those to be careful in what they do here.
“So the plan is to get enough Links, but not scare it, ready to show your stuff girls? Cause here we go!” NiGHTS declared this in knowing what they must do & knowing how to do so.
Soon NiGHTS was flying through to make Paraloops on a few large gatherings of Blue Chips while any of the ponies steer through the Rings. So far, the little chase after Octopaw & going through the Rings seem to be almost like the time the ponies had NiGHTS chase after one of the Goodles for the key.
“Careful, if you let one second go by without picking up a Blue Chip or passing through a Ring, the Link will be broken.” Owl gave a warning that if any mistakes are made, it will be an upsetting development.
Hearing that got Twilight to take over to help NiGHTS fly around a windmill, going through the Rings to collect enough Links to help out while chasing Octopaw. It was strange how much it felt like the gang was having Deja vu of the courses to chase Octopaw to go through the Rings, cause many of the areas was from chasing the Goodles. But each time, the ponies took moments & turns to help them fly NiGHTS through obstacles & collect what they can to make the win.
“So how are we doing?” AJ’s spirit asked off in pondering of their case.
“I think we’re doing okay. Gotta admit, this is one dozzy challenge.” Pinkie Pie’s spirit smiled off in thinking they are doing pretty good.
“Hang on tight, I think we’re on the final chase now.” NiGHTS gave these confident words to her friends in what was about the near final part of the chase.
The chase was still on, Octopaw was still in the lead, but NiGHTS was not far behind, cause now Pinkie Pie was piloting the jester now. And from a few Blue Chips to collect and a few golden orb Rings to go through to collect more Links, the pink pony seem to be having fun. A couple of Paraloops & it looks like Pinkie Pie was still catching up to Octopaw who kept expelling Rings & seem to be going faster to get away.
“We better go follow after Octopaw & see just how high we can get our Link count!” NiGHTS exclaimed to say this as a little bonus to their work. “There’s no time limit, so let’s use this opportunity to polish our skills. Ready?” She asked this off to her friends that were in control of her.
“Ready!” The pony spirits responded in all agreeing on that.
Soon now it was time to see what the group was gonna do here as NiGHTS was soaring to go faster, even use Drill Dash through the Rings. Collecting many Blue Chips while going through Rings to get Links, they were doing pretty well. Course after Octopaw saw how close NiGHTS got, it got so scared, it squirted ink out & ran off, which the jester dodge from getting hit, but now it looks like they lost sight of where Octopaw has gone off towards. It wasn’t long before suddenly, Owl flew up to the group in seeing the little event was over.
“Woah! Slow down!” Owl yelps to say before NiGHTS came to a stop before running into the guy. “Hoo! Good job, I watch & it seems your practice has help your flying & knowing this world.” Owl sighs to say this while giving compliments to the ponies work in handling NiGHTS thus far for this world of dreams they created.
“So how’d we do with our Ring collecting?” Applejack’s spirit asked off in wondering if they did good here.
“Well, judging by your performance, quite admirably.” Owl proudly announced how well the group did in going through to make a number of Links.
“So we did good,” Pinkie Pie’s spirit asked in thinking this was a good thing to hear.
“Indeed you did, congratulations, all of you.” Owl smiled to nod in giving raise to those here.
Hearing that news made those inside NiGHTS so excited, that the jester suddenly did a graceful spin motion. Which we begin to hear ‘Peaceful Moment’ during this little scene. And then in the aftermath, the jester pose in a stance with a smile, as if seizing this victory this very day.
“Wow, we never saw you do something like that NiGHTS!” Twilight’s spirit responded in being surprised in what their jester friend just did.
“Well there’s plenty about me you don’t know.” NiGHTS shrug off her shoulders to casually say this off.
Soon afterwards, NiGHTS soon took off with everyone before the scene began to fade out at this time, showing that the group have completed out trip objective it seems.

Slowly we find Twilight, Applejack & Pinkie Pie gently falling through the skies of a starry night. Just before they return back to Dream Gate, where they managed to land gently on their feet or hooves. Right now, looks like NiGHTS undid their Dualize mode for the ponies to walk right in. And who should be nearby to fly near the ponies than Owl himself.
“My dear friends, I hope you have learn something. To not upset the Octopaw. He may look nasty but he’s really easily frightened.” Owl spoke of giving a wise advice about what to do when coming near an Octopaw.
“Sorry. We’ll do better next time.” Pinkie Pie nods off to say this while apologizing.
“But this ain’t about de sea critter, is it?” Applejack raised an eyebrow in thinking this talk wasn’t base on what they just did, now was it?
“No, I’m afraid not much at all.” Owl shook his head to plainly state this off to those that caught on.
“Owl, what’s the matter?” Twilight asked in sensing there was something bothering their friend, but what.
“You see…The Nightopians on Dandelion Island are in an uproar over something. I hope it’s nothing bad…” Owl issued to say this in feeling worried about what was happening at the time.
“Wait…there’s an island of dandelions?” Pinkie Pie cuts in to ask this in being shock to believe an island of dandelions existed.
“Well yes, it’s within the Nightopia area you just return from…Pure Valley.” Owl slowly responded to the random pony in answering that question.
“Hugh, how come we haven’t notice it when we were there?” Applejack rub her chin in pondering the question at the moment.
“Well, we were preoccupied with other things.” Twilight stated to say this that when they went to Pure Valley, they had to help a caged NiGHTS & just recently went through the Rings Octopaw expel out for them to try out. “But in any case Owl, should we go back & see if maybe we can help fix the problem?” She asked if maybe that would help calm the old owl’s nerves a bit if they did this.
“That would be splendid, NiGHTS will already be there waiting upon your return.” Owl spoke off to say this in being received of such responses.
Soon Owl flew off to vanish again as everyone seems to get used to it after sometime.
“Have ta admit, I ponder if all be alright there.” Applejack spoke in wondering if that place will be fine, she can’t help feel connected to Pure Valley.
“That’s why we’ll go investigate together. After all, that place seems too important to let anything happen to it or the Nightopians living there.” Twilight stated to say this in knowing what they must do to help.
“What are we waiting for, let’s go!?” Pinkie Pie proudly issued off to say in what they must do now.
With the decision made, the ponies approach the Door towards Pure Valley. From opening the doors, the same light enveloped them & soon everything was blinded out from the white light. But it was clear to those that gone through would end up in that dream location.

At this sudden moment, we find Twilight, Applejack & Pinkie Pie just wondering around this area within Pure Valley, the place called; Dandelion Island. Turns out as the ponies were walking around to view their surroundings, did they see what was here. A beautiful, lush field with tall green grass, a few trees, shrubs grown around some spots, & there was large mountains across the distance. Along with cliffs with gigantic waterfalls pouring down, allowing water as crystal clear to flow down it.
“Hey gang! Are you all right?” NiGHTS flew down to the startled ponies from sounding concern in seeing them.
“Yeah, we’re fine…” Twilight responded to nod in saying that she & her friends were good, nothing wrong.
“Peachy!” Pinkie Pie smiled off to say this in what she felt at this moment of being okay.
“Wah…NiGHTS, every pony, look!” Applejack suddenly saw & pointed towards a large dandelions as all as trees.
“Hugh? What is it?” NiGHTS asked off puzzled by the sudden question, as did the others.
Everyone turns to see what appear to be large & tall dandelions in the form of trees. They seem ready to puff white seeds across the valley while the wind blew gently with a breeze. There were a few Nightopians that were happily flying through the air, happily cheering & playing as they move around near a little river by the dandelion trees.
“Wow, that’s the second biggest plant I’ve ever seen!” Pinkie Pie stated to say this in having seen this. “The biggest was trying to grow potatoes from a potted plant I had!” She added off that last part for the others to understand her meaning.
“Amazing…The Nightopians sure look happy, don’t they?” Twilight asked off in seeing how carefree & happy the Nightopians seem to be, it sorta gives them a warm feeling.
“Yeah, they do.” NiGHTS rested her hands to her hips to nod in simply smiling agreement on the subject; the Nightopians do seem very happy
“You know, even if this ain’t our world…it sure feels like home.” Pinkie Pie spoke off to say in smiling at such happiness that was seen around.
“NiGHTS said we help make this stuff, remember?” Applejack pointed this off as a reminder to her pink friend. “Ye know, near our home outside de farm, there’s a part of an area where all these dandelions grow.” Applejack spoke off to say this to walk a bit to expression some ties of what this place makes her feel like.
“Really Applejack” Twilight raised an eyebrow in having heard this for the first time.
“Well, it’s something I once did when I was a wee cow girl.” Applejack shrug off to say this in how long ago such a thing was, when she was little.
“Oh-oh, tell us more! I love hearing some happy thoughts!” Pinkie Pie was bouncing around in wanting her friend to tell them more, this was getting interesting.
“Well ye see, when Apple Bloom wasn’t born yet, my pa used ta take me ta a special field, there ta play all de time.” Applejack spoke off in mentioning this as something she once recall as an old cherish memory.
“Your dad?” NiGHTS slowly responded to look at AJ in having heard this little subject be brought in, much to her puzzlement.
“Right, my dear pappy, ye know.” Applejack nodded off to turn to NiGHTS in stating what her father was like.
“I can almost recall my own father & the fun memories we had.” Twilight smiled off to say this in remembering the days she had with her father when she was little.
“Right, me too!” Pinkie Pie smiled off to say, but then look at NiGHTS who seem…somewhat quiet. “Don’t…you have a father, NiGHTS?” Pinkie Pie slowly asked the question that made her & the others curious; they are talking about fathers who were there for their children, but hearing this seem to…do something else with NiGHTS.
“Oh…a father.” NiGHTS slowly stated off to look away & held her arms cross them & to ponder the question. “Hmm…I suppose you could call him that…” She tilted her head up to stare into the skies in stating that for someone who would be her father, it would be basically true in a matter of speaking.
“You suppose you call him that?” Twilight raised an eyebrow in having heard that, it sounded strange the way NiGHTS would talk about her own parent like that.
“Yeah, well… what kind of guy is he? If an’ ye don’t mind?” Applejack asked off in becoming curious to know more about NiGHTS father.
Suddenly without warning, something interrupts the conversation as some loud thunder is heard that made everyone look towards the front. They heard the Nightopians cries & soon see them being lifted off the ground as if by force to be carried off.
“What’s going on?” Twilight asked off in seeing the Nightopians seem to be having difficulties, but why?
“Look…over there!” NiGHTS pointed up for everyone to see….some sorta dark vortex was rip in the skies & seem to be sucking in everything around, including the helpless Nightopians.
“Oh, no! This is terrible! The Nightopians are getting sucked in!” Pinkie Pie gasped in shock in seeing those sweet little guys are gonna be sucked right into that thing in the sky.
“Twilight! AJ! Pinkie Pie! We have to save them!” NiGHTS turns to her friends in making this quick statement to help save the Nightopians from danger.
“But how? Even if we flew, could we fly far or fast with so many?” Applejack asked in thinking that having so many Nightopians to carry away & come back be too time consuming.
“Simple. We can use my Paraloop to get them someplace safe!” NiGHTS patted her right hand to her chest to state that with her ability, they can rescue the Nightopians.
“But doesn’t that take them too…” Twilight was about to ask in recalling that the Paraloop either takes some into the My Dream place or elsewhere, depending.
“Don’t worry, you can trust me on that.” NiGHTS exclaimed to say this for those here to have fate.
“Got it sugar! Time ta round up some Nightopians.” Applejack nods off to say this in feeling they are ready to help out now with determination.
“Right, time to get to work!” Pinkie Pie issued forth in knowing the states of the situation.
Soon AJ was the one to approach NiGHTS to reach out to touch her hand with her hoof. There was a bright blue light & soon they began to Dualize. And once it was over, NiGHTS floated in the air with Applejack in control with Twilight & Pinkie Pie were there as spirits too to be of any assistance if needed. Right now, they are facing against a dark whirlwind twister that’s now sucking everything including the Nightopians. During the matter, the background was playing ‘Eloquent Echo: Fluffy Catch’ for the theme here.
“Okay, so we all know the plan.” Twilight’s spirit stated off in trying to get something from her friends in knowing of this important mission task.
“Right! Use Paraloops to save the Nightopians from being sucked into the dark clouds!” Pinkie Pie’s spirit spoke off in knowing perfectly well of what they gotta do here.
“Then let’s save this here herd! Yeh-haah!” Applejack’s spirit declared off to say this while making her cow-girl battle cry to boost the moment.
Taking the time to get moving, Applejack was piloting NiGHTS to fly off towards the first Nightopian, & from doing a first Paraloop, a portal appeared & suck the little guy in, saving him. Then we see NiGHTS moving across to get the second Nightopian to perform another Paraloop to save that one in time too. As the gang was working hard, Owl was seen nearby in noticing the situation.
“Hoo! Oh dear, so this was what was wrong in Dandelion Island!” Owl yelps to say in seeing what was happening around here with the dark cloud appearing & sucking in the Nightopians.
“Kinda busy Owl, we need to rescue all of the Nightopians.” NiGHTS stated to tell the old owl about their situation was kinda busy.
“Yes, of course. And here’s something to help you out. The Green Rings will allow you to recover Dash Power as many times as you want.” Owl spoke forth in understanding the matter, & gave some useful advice in which to help.
“So we can use the Drill Dash to pick up speed?” Twilight’s spirit asked in hearing this; that can help them a lot with more speed.
“Why didn’t ye say so?” Applejack’s spirit questioned off that they should have been told this sooner.
“Duh, he just did!” Pinkie Pie’s spirit playfully told this to AJ who sigh at having been told this by her random pink friend.
Deciding that with a way to help boost their speed, the ponies in NiGHTS decided to do some Drill Dash stunts to pick up speed to catch up to any Nightopian in trouble. Two Nightopians held onto two giant dandelion pods that were floating up to the dark cloud, so NiGHTS had to make a wider Paraloop which got the two out of harm’s way. Then from seeing another Nightopian from behind, NiGHTS backtrack to Paraloop to get that one too out of danger.
“Gracious! The Nightopians are in peril! You have to use the Paraloop to whisk them away to safety!” Owl gasped in seeing the danger that the gang need to pick up the pace.
“We’re on it Owl, there’s a lot to cover!” NiGHTS exclaimed to say in knowing what they must do and they will need to work on this a lot harder.
“Here, I can make us do some unexpected loop-de-loops!” Pinkie Pie’s spirit suggested out in what she can do to help out here.
Soon with more Nightopians in need of saving, Pinkie Pie took control of NiGHTS to quickly do a backflip to just about make a new Paraloop on three Nightopians that were coming from behind; & saved them. Then Pinkie Pie had NiGHTS tried to Drill Dash upwards to get a tower of three Nightopians into a circle for the Paraloop to work; that managed to work out somehow. Next since NiGHTS was so much higher, but not too close to the dark cloud, Pinkie Pie made a dive motion to spin loops like a shoe-lace pattern, getting Paraloops on one, two, three more Nightopians & saving them.
“Nice work everyone!” NiGHTS congrats her friends in doing a nice job thus far.
“NiGHTS, we need to get you through more Green Rings, we probably used too many Drill Dashes to help rescue the close callings for the Nightopians.” Twilight’s spirit reminded her jester friend in precaution that they are using the Drill Dash so much, they are almost low on their Dash Power.
“Then help us out here Twilight, you can do it!” NiGHTS encouraged Twilight to take the lead to help reenergize their strength.
Hearing that, Twilight was now piloting NiGHTS to go through the Green Rings to recover their Dash Power. And not a moment too soon, since one Nightopian was almost too close to the dark cloud, but NiGHTS used Drill Dash to quickly form a Paraloop in time to save the poor thing. But in another twist, NiGHTS almost felt herself being pulled in by the dark cloud & Twilight had to use the Drill Dash to get them out of the situation. Then spotting two more Nightopians, Twilight had NiGHTS follow Pinkie Pie’s Paraloop dive action that rescue them. And then the jester flew off to catch two more Nightopians in need of saving, & a Paraloop trip out of that danger.
“Guys, we got more from below coming!” Pinkie Pie’s spirit pointed out in seeing what was coming at them.
“Then we’ll just have ta keep catching them all!” Applejack’s spirit declared in being determine to not call it quits yet.
Diving down again to do Paraloop on two more Nightopians, NiGHTS was hurrying to save one nearby & then a father one ahead, the gang were using lots of Drill Dash moves to keep up with the dark cloud’s suction power. Pinkie Pie even had to let the suction of the dark storm pull them upwards before doing a Paraloop on another Nightopian & then dive around for a second. Then AJ took over for NiGHTS to spin dive to the right to go for other Nightopians around the mid part. And next came Twilight having to steer NiGHTS down near more Nightopians coming up, she ended up using a Drill Dash to make a very big Paraloop that managed to suck SIX Nightopians into the portal to safety; talk about exhaustion of a work load.
“We better stock up, it’s always the hardest just when you feel spent.” NiGHTS stated with a serious face, the hardest has yet to come, & they will need to be at their best to last a bit longer.
“Ri-right…” Twilight’s spirit slowly nodded from feeling somewhat spent a bit.
“Got it!” Applejack’s spirit nods off in trying to keep her narrow eyes focus.
“Loud & clear!” Pinkie Pie saluted in trying to keep things well underway.
Soon NiGHTS was piloting to gather a few Blue Chips to help out while the jester and friends go off to find more Nightopians still in peril. Another one was almost within the mouth of the dark cloud, but AJ was being her gutsy self to have NiGHTS dive straight up without backing off & managed to secure the creature in a Paraloop just in time. Pretty soon, three more Nightopians were getting awfully close & so each pony in NiGHTS gave it their all, AJ help with the first, Pinkie Pie the second, & Twilight the third; Paraloop those three to safety. And then was edging even closer to push their luck on the last ones that were almost too close to the problem…but through the strength of working together…they pulled it off to secure the last five Nightopians in a Paraloop big enough to catch them.
“Hugh….hugh….hugh, did we get them all?” Twilight felt almost exhausted, & she was a spirit inside NiGHTS
“I think so, I don’t see any cone-head little Nightopians anywhere.” Pinkie Pie’s spirit spoke to scout from where she was & did not see any Nightopian that was left out.
“Then…did we do it? Did we save them all?” Applejack’s spirit asked off in feeling like maybe they did this, they saved the Nightopians from harm.
“Indeed you did.” Owl spoke to flew by in sounding grateful to the gang. “Thanks to you, we did not lose a single Nightopian, thank you all.” He gave the ponies and NiGHTS a thanks for doing such a wonderful job.
The same music called ‘Peaceful Moment’ was heard in the background at this time. Having heard that put a smile on everyone’s faces, even NiGHTS herself. In fact, NiGHTS then did a little graceful spin move before posing in a jester form, as if signaling a victory for her & those that helped out in this little challenge. From her expression, it was clear that she was very happy in the little victory of saving the Nightopians.
“He-he, guess you must be most happy of all NiGHTS. You did your victory dance!” Pinkie Pie’s spirit giggled at having seen that little dance move from their friend again.
“Well you know…I call it as I see it during most cases…” NiGHTS shrug off to say that she only does that whenever it’s convenient.
“Guess its fer little things like these, hugh?” Applejack’s spirit smirk off to say this in getting the idea at the moment.
“Well, I’m just happy we helped save many.” Twilight’s spirit sighs in knowing at least this crazy matter is settled.
“Then it’s time we head on back to Dream Gate.” NiGHTS stated this off with a little smile in saying…it’s time they return back to Dream Gate now.
Then with another motion, NiGHTS took off while Owl vanished from his spot at that time. And also during the same time, the dark cloud from before slowly was vanishing too as if sensing that its prey was long gone & it’s presence no longer needed. And with that, everything begins to fade out at this time…

Meanwhile, we find Twilight, Applejack & Pinkie Pie gently falling downwards from the starry night skies, before they landed gently on the ground to be back in Dream Gate. And it looks like the Dualize moment with NiGHTS was over too it seems. As they were strolling on in near the fountain, they soon came across Owl who was flying nearby in spotting those that have return at this time.
“Welcome back my friends.” Owl smiled in seeing the ponies have return from their latest adventure.
“Phew, howdy there Owl!” Applejack sighs to say while feeling a little tired out from their last trip.
“Owl, I’m curious….when we use the Paraloop, doesn’t most of the things caught be sent…” Twilight was about to ask a question, only for it to be answered.
“Into the My Dream Door, yes, that is correct.” Owl cuts in to answer the question quickly for Twilight to know. “Hoot! Would you like to rest & recover now, you did work extra hard saving so many Nightopians?” He asked in thinking that is what the kind pony would wanna do first & rest a bit from doing so much.
“And we didn’t leave a single one behind!” Pinkie Pie proudly proclaimed that they got all the Nightopians.
“And that is why I ask you do so. You may need your strength in the next few trips to Pure Valley.” Owl explained to say this in knowing that this group will need to recover their strengths in what’s to come the next time around.
The ponies were a bit silent in hearing that, sounds like they still got lots more work to do ahead of them.
“Okay, I suppose it wouldn’t hurt to do that.” Twilight smiles to nod in agreeing to that term of what they should probably do.
“Very good, then I’ll see you soon when you recover. And don’t worry, NiGHTS will be around once you’re prepared.” Owl nods to say this in knowing the next time the ponies come back here, he & NiGHTS will be waiting.
And then just like that, Owl vanished into thin air again. Sometimes it’s a mystery of how quickly that wise old owl disappears when one least expects it.
“Darn! I should have asked him!” Applejack cursed in just recalling what she forgot to say to Owl.
“Ask what AJ?” Pinkie Pie asked her friend in what was troubling her.
“Dat Pure Valley, I feel like it’s connected ta me…like it holds some…meaning.” Applejack held her chin to ponder something, like the place they visited seems to be ‘connected’ to her or something.
“Maybe….Owl said Nightopia is made from our Ideya, a paradise of what we wish for. Maybe…Pure Valley is connected to you Applejack.” Twilight thought for a moment to say that perhaps the Nightopia that was made is more in relationship to Applejack somehow.
“Ye think?” Applejack asked in pondering curiously if that was the case.
“Well, maybe next trip, we can try to be sure.” Pinkie Pie happily stated out that they can find out the next time.
“For now, let’s check in on our own little place…lets head off to My Dream.” Twilight suggested this to her friends here with a smile.
The group all nodded in agreement, they did felt somewhat spent, maybe using Drill Dash & cutting it close in rescuing that many Nightopians did push them a bit hard. So maybe a little rest to recover is just what they need. Soon they approach the My Dream Door, open it up to let out a white light that blinded our view before everything began to fade out. Now they were off to their own private little spot to relax & create their own little place of wonder.

Soon we find Twilight, Applejack & Pinkie Pie had exit out their little Door to be in My Dream. The place seem to have gotten some new additions from Pure Valley related to the Octopaw chase to the rescuing of Nightopians. And speaking of which, there sure were a lot more Nightopians here than there were Nightmarens. As the ponies walk off from the stairs to touch the grassy surface, they look around at their newest work additions.
“Look! All of the Nightopians we rescued are here!” Pinkie Pie pointed out in seeing all the cone-headed little guys are safely here.
Many of the Nightopians were coming around in having spotted the ponies, smiling & giggling to come up to give them great big hugs.
“Heheheeey….quit it…you’re tickling me!” Twilight giggled out in feeling like these happy little guys were tickling her.
“Hehee….guess this is their way of saying thanks.” Pinkie Pie giggled for joy in understanding what was going on.
“Shucks, guess they really are a happy & playful bunch.” Applejack replied off in smiling at how much these Nightopians are just like sweet innocent things that like to be happy, friendly, etc. all the time.
“Oh-oh…how’s about we play a game with them before we rest? Pretty please?” Pinkie Pie spoke off to ask her friends if they have time to play a game.
While AJ & Twilight had some other ideas, Pinkie Pie did a gutsy puppy dog pout, but with a smile, even the Nightopians did the same things. This much pressure was starting to feel too much for the two ponies to withstand it for too much longer before…caving in.
“Oh, alright…a little game & then we can all take a little rest.” Twilight rolled her eyes to smile in deciding they can play.
“YEAH!” Pinkie Pie cheered along with many of the recused Nightopians, they can play a game & have fun with the ones that saved them from peril. Soon Pinkie Pie & the Nightopians rush outwards onto the field to begin planning their game of choice.
“Man, they sure do have de energy ta spare.” Applejack spoke off in seeing how much the Nightopians can really move about.
“Yeah, come on…we better join in too.” Twilight nods off to say this before deciding that they best not be left out.
“Right…” Applejack nods off to say in getting the idea here, no reason to miss out on the fun.
“Okay Nightopians, let’s play Eye Spy, ready…?” Pinkie Pie spoke off in giving the Nightopians their first game challenge to play; they gotta tell them what they spy so the other can figure it out.
Many of the Nightopians smiled & were ready to play as they were looking around to spy something. Twilight & Applejack slowly walk up in preparing to join this happy little game. Looks like things are calmly settle for right now, & hopefully once the ponies have recovered their strength, they’ll get themselves ready to head on out to look for more Ideya. With that, the screen slowly zooms away while at least we see Twilight, Applejack & Pinkie Pie were in no danger & happily playing a friendly game with the Nightopians. But next time we see them…they’ll have to work very harder what comes on their next mission adventure…
