Chapter 26: Dawn To a New awakening
The scene begins to open up where it’s back in Equestria, just centering around the Rainbow Kingdom. Right now, there was apparently a large crowd of ponies by the front of the gate’s door. Fred & Barney are working in keeping the crowds back while many are asking and making lots of noises. With some luck, they managed to quickly get inside the castle while shutting the doors to the pony populace so they can’t get in. But there was banging outside that force those to take measures such as barricading the doors with a steel locks.
“Barney I tells yah, it’s like a woman shopping spree gone mad out there!” Fred stated off in knowing what sorta issue that’s going on that’s about as scary as woman gone shop crazy.
“Yep, it’s scary to think how our wives survive it, now we’re in a different pickle.” Barney stated off in knowing that their wives deal with such scary things while the husbands stay out of it.
“Fred, Barney, how’s it looking out there?” Ben asked as he came over to check on the situation along with Starlight Glimmer, which didn’t seem too pretty by the looks of it.
“Not well your highness, the crowd is getting antsy out there. Saying it’s been almost two weeks since they seen the princess & the council of friendship.” Fred shook his head to regret to say that the crowd is really having it up to their necks of being told things instead of seeing with their own eyes; the lies can’t be kept going on to conceal the truth for long.
“Yeah, right now, there are some reporters going off saying if they are kidnapped or killed. Oh boy, it’s hard to say which to go with in sleeping comas.” Barney nodded off to say this with worry that in any case, this is the worst moment they could ever be in to how to explain the truth and if the crowd will accept it.
“Drat! I’ve done all I could & now it’s only a matter of time before the Three Lords attack us! I’ve already spread our request allies as thin as possible, what else can I do?” Ben cursed in seeing that the situation is really starting to go downhill; it’s only a matter of time before their strongest enemies launch an all-out attack to wipe them out, & they are spread thin in asking for anymore help than they already are.
"We need Twilight & the others, before things can get any more out of hand here!" Starlight Glimmer exclaimed in worrying how things have come this far, it'll only get worse along the way unless something is done soon.
“Ben! Ben!” Suddenly, Spike, Phobos & even Nyx came up to look like they were in a hurry.
“You’re not gonna believe this!” Phobos spoke off to say this in having something to tell about now.
“If it’s about another crazy rumor, then please don’t tell me. I don’t think…” Ben was about to push off anymore crazy rumors about him & Twilight divorce or worse possible claims; it’s frustrating to take.
“No daddy, it’s in the medical chamber! Something’s happening!” Nyx stated to say that something was going on where her mom and aunts are at.
“What?” Ben yelped in having been told this, what could it mean?
"What do you mean?" Starlight Glimmer asked in liking a full on detail explanation about this.
“The Cutie Mark Crusaders, Princess Celestia & Luna are with Golden Heart’s group right now. They say something just happened.” Spike stated to explain that something has occurred and that calls their attention.
“Yeah, we gotta go and check this out!” Phobos pointed out that they are needed at this time.
“But what about…?” Ben look at the seal doors, and with the antsy crowd of protesters wanting answers.
“Don’t worry your highness, we got the doors perfectly sealed! They won’t get through!” Fred spoke off to insure Ben that they won’t let anyone in the palace, they got it tight.
“Right, after all, we’re use to barricading doors against angry mobs, just ask us from…” Barney was about to go into details in how he & Fred have dealt with such cases until…
“Barney! They get the picture!” Fred snapped off to shut his friend from spilling any secrets that should remain quiet.
“Oh, um, sorry about that!” Barney yelped in seeing that his pal got a point.
“Thanks, take care guys…” Ben nodded in thanking his guards for the aid, he really appreciates it.
"We better go & see what's happening, come on." Starlight Glimmer exclaimed in thinking they need to be there to see what was occurring now with their sleeping friends.
Soon Ben was running off with Nyx, Starlight Glimmer and the baby Dragons to get to their medical chamber. And soon the door gates were bang hard, as Fred & Barney watch in seeing that’s a lot of angry ponies outside.
“Oh boy, I sure hope these doors last.” Fred sigh to say in looking at how long they can keep this up.
“Yep, if not, we may be out of the job.” Barney nodded to say that if they don’t survive long, they can kiss this job farewell.
Soon Fred & Barney and any Royal Guard of the Rainbow Kingdom had to keep the doors closed to keep anyone from getting inside. This was gonna get crazy, hopefully something will be done soon…

At this moment, within the Medical Chamber, something unusual was going on. The systems were seemingly going haywire, as if they were unable to keep up with something that was going on at the time being. Discord & Golden Heart’s group was trying to fix the problems, but something was causing some unusual amount of energy spikes to surge up. Celestia & Luna along with the CMC were there in seeing that something was going on, but could not tell if it was dire or not, but hope the sleeping Mane Six were in not immediate danger.
"Systems outputs are going critical. There's no stopping this feedback." Fila forewarns the group in how it was looking, pretty bad for the machinery.
“Golden Heart, what is happening?” Celestia asked off in liking an explanation at this time.
“Some unknown power surge…something was happening in the Night Dimension.” Golden Heart stated in what they are dealing with at this particular time.
“As of now, Omega’s been trying to keep tabs, but something has happened.” Discord stated to say this in knowing they been keeping links of what’s been happening, but they are having difficulties.
“Last showings record that our friends were facing a force that numbers couldn’t rate its power level.” Omega explained in how much dire trouble their sleeping allies are tending to.
“Then…it could only mean…they met against Wizeman!” Luna gasped for fearing of what may be happening to their friends & family now.
“That isn’t good, if an enemy that’s a God gets them, then…” Autumn Gem was starting to picture the worst case to happen if the enemy gets their friends until…
“Be strong my love, we can’t worry over that just yet.” Sombra spoke forth in stating that they mustn’t think like that, it’s too distracting.
“If nothing is done, then the stasis will shut down and then the Mane Six’s bodies will…” Jack Zen was trying to fix the chamber capsules, if they break, they can’t keep the bodies without souls active before they…cease to keep living.
“Ohhhh, I wish a miracle would happen right about now.” Pinkamena groans to complain in wishing for a miracle to happen now.
Suddenly, something was happening, as a strange glowing portal appeared above the room that seem like it was not a menacing force, but of something that heard their cries.
“Wow, and I thought randomly asking for such things don’t happen much.” Pinkamena replied off in being surprise that all she did was ask and something like this happen.
Then from the portal began to vanish without warning, but not before six golden pony figures of familiar characters seen escape from it. Luna & Celestia saw them as did many of the others in the room to wonder what this was. Just before each glowing radiance enter a capsule of the Mane Six and soon started to cause a strange programing to be functioning.
"We're getting a response." Fila stated off in receiving new feedback of what was happening to the capsules.
“Scans are indicating that the capsule chambers are preparing to open up.” Omega issued forth this message that shock everyone, it couldn’t mean that…
But just as this caught everyone’s attention, the capsules soon opened up while letting steam escape which started to make everyone cough like crazy. Just as Ben along with Starlight Glimmer, Nyx & the baby dragons arrived, the room was covered in steam. But soon as the steam was clearing, six figures were rising up from the capsules, and then it was reveal to be…the awakening of the Mane Six: Twilight Sparkle, Rainbow Dash, Rarity, Applejack, Fluttershy & Pinkie Pie. And the first ones to make contact from their open eyes were…
“Ben…?” Twilight responded to seeing her love right before her.
“Twilight…is that…you?” Ben gasped off to ask this as he felt like a deer in headlights.
“Oh Ben! It’s you!” Twilight teleports out of the capsule to appear and hug Ben with much joy.
“Mommy!” Nyx happily join the hugging moment with her mom that has awaken now.
“Twilight!” Spike happily called out to join the happily family moment.
“You’re awake!” Phobos even cheered over this to hug everyone too.
“Nyx, Spike, Phobos…I’m happy to see you all too.” Twilight smiled off to say in seeing her whole family was here now.
"Your....awake!" Starlight Glimmer exclaimed in shock & surprise, but showed tears of joy; her friend was okay & she was not the only one...
“Applejack!” Apple Bloom race off to give her big sister a hug.
“Howdy there, Apple Bloom!” Applejack smiled off to say in being happy to see her little sister again.
“Rarity!” Sweetie Belle also approached her sister to give her a hug.
“Oh, ho-ho, Sweetie Belle, easy there, little sister!” Rarity yelped a bit from the strong emotional hug she felt.
“Rainbow Dash! You’re back!” Scootaloo cheered to leap up to hug her idol.
“Heh, I never left, more or less, but good to see you Scoots,” Rainbow Dash shrug off to say while giving the filly a little noggin.
“Oh my, we really are back home?” Fluttershy responded off to say in seeing where they are now?
“Oh Fluttershy, it’s so good to see your smiling face again.” Discord appeared to feel so good to see Fluttershy has safely return from parts too scary to go into detail now.
“Ah, nothing like a good nap to feel refresh.” Pinkie Pie smiled to stretch from feeling really good about now.
“Good nap, you were asleep for Two Weeks.” Jack Zen spoke off to tell the mares of how long they were asleep.
“WHAT!” The Mane Six yelped in having heard this, two weeks; that barely felt like it from being in the Night Dimension.
"It's true, we kept your bodies stable when they lack a function to provide nutrition assessments & other things if not active." Fila explained to say this in how a body needs such things in order to not die out when someone is in a long sleep coma.
"You might not have notice from when you slept, but you were really out of it." Starlight Glimmer exclaimed in how long their friends have been out of action.
“Oh my goodness! What’s been going on? What’s happen with the kingdom? What about our enemies? What…” Twilight was starting to panic in overthinking things after just waking up to look worry with her family until…
“Be at ease Twilight, all is well and under control.” Celestia approached her student to smile in calmly saying everything is all right.
“While you all were in sleep stasis, we, your family, have been helping to watch over Equestria to insure, no one tried to attack your home.” Luna spoke forth in calmly addressing the manner has been under control by their aid.
“They even called in some friends and allies to help while not mentioning of what happened to you.” Sombra pointed out in what they all have been doing while the Mane Six have been in sleep stasis.
“All without telling about your case of being taken to the Night Dimension.” Autumn Gem stated to say that no one was told about such things for fear it would cause panic and their fearsome enemies would attack.
“So then, what happened there?” Golden Heart asked in wondering what was going on in the Night Dimension.
“It’s….a long story.” Twilight slowly spoke off to knowing that talking about will take time to go over.
“Maybe you can save it for after calming a riot outside.” Ben pointed out to suddenly bring this up for them to discuss first. “Apparently, they are at their limit of wanting to know the truth.” Ben pointed out in knowing they have a population of ponies that want to know where Twilight and her council friends are, or else…
The Mane Six heard this and felt like they should handle that task first off while explaining to everyone the adventure they had that was almost…like a dream. And boy what a dream filled event it was to feel closer to reality than not being real at all. They talk about NiGHTS, the battle against the Nightmarens, even how they face against Wizeman. All were shocking feats, especially something that concern Pinkamena about the return of an old enemy that instead…help them out in the end. And now everything fades out now as things slowly blur from this moment while time goes on it seems…

At this time, the scene focuses on the one place that would almost be like living in a real nightmare, but more in the wake world; Tartarus. And within its dark domain was the castle in where it lies the most powerful and most evil Equestria has known to fear even if the being is imprisoned. The one known as the Dark Elf War-God, Grimmore, the known Overlord King of Tartarus. Right now, he has watch from an inferno portal of all the things that has happened in the Night Dimension in following the Mane Six with NiGHTS up to their battle against Wizeman. As the portal faded away, Ji-Ga-No soar in from having notice what his lord saw, and must know by now, but shall report it.
“My lord, it would appear that the representatives of the Elements of Harmony…have return.” Ji-Ga-No stated off to say in what has just been learn of those that had left their world…have return.
“Hmph, so it would seem. Intriguing, that they made it back.” Grimmore let off a little chuckle in sounding amuse by such things like the Mane Six are back from the Night Dimension.
“Even more so that they managed to defeat Wizeman, someone like him was well within being among the God statures.” Ji-Ga-No pondered off to say that for the mere ponies that should have been severely weaken, managed to stop Wizeman is truly a surprise.
“Yes, but as he said, so long as evil and darkness exist within the hearts of all creatures…he cannot die.” Grimmore lightly remarked off calmly in knowing that though the heroes stopped Wizeman, he is not truly gone. "Weakening those that are Gods with that which serves as a means to battle them, only so few mortals learn of such means while others....hardly come across them....& die." Grimmore spoke forth that those that are GODS like him are the hardest to be eliminated, it's only rare to find that which serves as a weakness, otherwise, many do not have such things & mortals cannot overcome such deities.
“So now what do we do from here forth, my lord?” Ji-Ga-No asked off in what they should be planning to do next after the heroes return.
“Now, we watch to see what little acts the little heroes can perform.” Grimmore issued forth in being intrigue to see what next action the heroes can do now.
“How was it that when they were gone, we did not strike at their weakest moment? I would have decimated the kingdom in mere moments.” Ji-Ga-No flew around his master to ponder why he never went off with their army to waste the Rainbow Kingdom, it be child’s play if he was involved.
“Indeed, but where is the amusement in that? Besides, it was a first time that others had to step in, while those that represent the Elements of Harmony were away.” Grimmore had his eyes shut in stating how it became intriguing that over such an issue, Equestria had to survive without relying on the Mane Six that represent harmony.
Suddenly, Grimmore held out his left hand which showed a hidden place….crystal capsule objects with each being a different size. But from one of them sat a strange shadowy figure of someone, someone who had shown dark energy and appeared to have be kept in check.
“And while the battle went on, I have decided to prepare something just for this world. A place of dreams where it can become a battlefield….what more could one imagine to gain than using that in battles.” Grimmore smiled off wickedly in having decided to focus on something ahead, deciding to use the realm of dreams where a battle of an even harder performance can be done.
“So, you’re planning to create a new warrior for such a place, another Elite?” Ji-Ga-Oh raised an eyebrow in seeing this, as he wonders if the Overlord King will make a new Elite for just such a matter.
“Oh no…What I have in store will be but the first…of many.” Grimmore responded with an even darker expression, saying that this newest creation, shall become something far worse than imaginable.
“Hah-hah-haaahhh, I can tell that this is about to get very interesting!” Ji-Ga-No laughs off wickedly in finding this all the more amusing of what shall await Equestria to face.
“Quite so, prepare yourself…Equestria…” Grimmore remotely issued off in giving a little sound off at the moment.
At the time, the new figure within the crystal move its head and made a creepy smile of evil as if it’s about to come out and attack without warning. It looks like something between a clown…or a jester…or maybe…it was some kinda…Pierro type being.
“The Nightmare to be the first horror shall be one step closer…to fearing my power!” Grimmore exclaimed to state that what will be seen in nightmares, will be what to expect before waking up…and live in a true world that is a nightmare.
Then the scene zooms away from the castle, but not before we hear the evil from within…
“Gruhuhuhuhuhh—WHAH-Hah-Hah-Hah-Haaahhh…” Soon we begin to hear dark evil laughter from Grimmore as it sends chills down anyone’s spines to be wary of the evil that is being plotted at this time.
Everything goes dark while many wonder what will happen in the future, but that is something to be seen…for another time.

After what was likely a bit of a whole day that has gone by to reach the night of which a full moon is seen, the ponies of the Rainbow Kingdom slowly began to calm down when they had at last saw Princess Twilight and her Council of Friendship for the first time in two weeks. Twilight apologized to the citizens for having worried them, but was grateful that Ben had managed to help keep the kingdom safe while also handling other matters involving request and enemy attacks even outside their own. While the gang handle these things, Pinkamena was inside the castle, pondering something to herself before her brother and friends came to check on her.
“Hey sis, you okay?” Goldie asked off in noticing something the matter.
“Hmmm….oh, I’m good.” Pinkamena look to her brother while waving off that she is okay, nothing the matter.
“Really?” Goldie raised an eyebrow in thinking something was up here.
“Well okay, there is something that bothers me.” Pinkamena sighs to prepare to admit that something has been bugging her lately. “What they said about Phantom Pie…” She stated in not getting over what she heard that was so unbelievable even to her.
“How she gave up her life to save NiGHTS, I still don’t believe it.” Goldie stated to recall the story they heard about Phantom Pie doing the unthinkable.
“Considering Pinkamena, she tried to take over your mind, body and soul and tried to kill Golden Heart.” Jack Zen pointed out in remembering what Phantom Psycho Pie tried to do in the past when Pinkamena was in a coma.
“Maybe…she has had a change of heart. After all…there are some enemies that can be given second chances.” Autumn Gem spoke to say in lowering her neck to Sombra, stating a fact of giving even evil beings a second chance to change.
“Yes, I suppose so, after all, Discord and I can be living proof of that while others like the Three Lords, will never change.” Sombra exclaimed to say that while some villains never change, those that do get a better life.
“I am currently fixing the static so we can see the events to play them off, in terms of speaking: A Movie event.” Omega explained in what they can do here in order to see the Mane Six’s beginning to end like watching a movie.
"Well, I suppose that would be an intriguing way to process & enjoy everything that happened when we couldn't see much." Fila slowly stated in thinking the idea has merits that they can observe while enjoying at the same time.
As some of Goldie’s group was finding that information to be very helpful to learn more about another world…Pinkamena was separated to think in her own thoughts.
“Maybe since she had nothing but the little bits of Psycho Pie, she used them to continue on living.” Pinkamena whispered under her breath in knowing that deep down, Phantom Pie was a part of the original Psycho Pie that was never made whole as she was. “But I guess, we weren’t all that different.” She sigh to let off a little smile under her breath on the thought. “Perhaps someday, we’ll meet each other again…in your next life…” She look up to the sky in stating something that, if possible, she may encounter Phantom Pie, maybe in that new life…they could become…friends.
With that, the scene begins to zoom away from Goldie’s bunch to the Mane Six and the Royal Sisters and their company having discussions with the pony crowds. Of course, then what interrupts them is a sudden drop of….snow. In fact, this catches everyone’s attention in soon seeing lots and lots of snow flanks begin to fall.
“Look! It’s snowing!” Pinkie Pie cheered off in seeing what was going on.
“At this time of de season?” Applejack raised an eyebrow in finding this a bit strange.
“Oh brother, I think the Pegasus ponies forgot what to do during the commotion.” Rainbow Dash sighs to slap her forehead in seeing that with the deal of them not being seen, some things must have been forgotten.
“Well still, it is pretty.” Fluttershy stated to say this with an okay smile of what’s happening.
“In a way, it’s like feeling like a dream, doesn’t it Twilight?” Rarity some off to say this in being memorized by this event that has taken their breath away.
“Yeah, I think so too girls. I really do…” Twilight smiled off to say this to nod as her family was close to smile in watching this show.
The camera begins to zoom away while many of the ponies felt as if calm then of worry. As if the snow calm their nerves even more and was a sign of peace to return to their kingdom, they couldn’t have ask for anything better. And from a view, the Mane Six began to let out innocent laughter in which they felt so joyful, even their friends and family didn’t know why, but they join in too.
Now the scene focuses to which many ponies were now going off to bed to happily dream away their worries and concerns here. All the members of the Mane Six were with their families again and in their homes with those that care. Many sorta even snug up together to sleep together and to dream away.
“Good night, Benny.” Twilight yawns as she heads to sleep. “I love you.”
Ben then kissed Twilight gently as he lay down next to her. He mumbles, “I love you, too, my beautiful Twilight.”
But of course, while things here have been going by, far from their windows all the way to at the top of Ponyville’s clock tower as it struck midnight…there was someone there. But it look like an illusion of a familiar jester we know as she played her invisible flute within the bright light of the moon. And it was shown to be none other than NiGHTS, alive and well, and even if not of the world of Equestria Prime, she will not be forgotten by those that know her. And then with that, her presence soon vanishes into thin air, as if being gone with the wind…

Meanwhile, within another area in question existed what seem like the My Dream realm, it seem to have been fuse of all the adventures from the Mane Six have seen from different Nightopia areas. The Nightopians were happily flying around, chatting, playing, and even eating some tasty meals and drinks, singing, you name it. While nearby, there was what seem to be an egg of some kind, but it was shaped different from a Nightopian. In fact, it was shaped like an egg capsule of an orange color and it was fairly larger to be the size of, well….a pony. Just as saying that, there seem to shadow a pony figure sleeping inside of it?
“Where…Am…I?” The pony being asked off in sounding like Phantom Pie, but sounded very tired, very weak, very exhausted. “I feel….So…Tire…” The pony in the capsule responded in feeling unable to continue to speak. “Can’t Think….I just…wanna….Sleep. Maybe….afterwards…I’ll…find out…who I am.” The mysterious creature spoke while softly beginning to drift off into a dream like state here.
And so the mysterious capsule egg being inside continues to sleep itself away, while it likely glowed a bit as if letting the one inside slowly rejuvenate itself. And as the screen begins to close off at this time, we are beginning to ask ourselves…who is within this capsule egg, and if she is someone we may…know. But for now, all we can do, is just watch as everything goes dark, and we shall say only this to all around…
