My name’s Marcus. Marcus Cortez. I’m currently a freshman at CUFTA. You don’t know what that means? Well, it stands for “Canterlot University for the Arts.” While it is a little unsettling to go to college in a completely different world from my own, and while being a human in a school full of mostly ponies is a little intimidating, I’m doing fine so far. I don’t have to worry about roommates, since I don’t live in a dorm. I live with my aunt.

Her name is Celestia. Princess Celestia.

You’re probably wondering how a human could be the nephew of a pony, and an alicorn princess, no less. Well, it’s quite the story.

In case you haven't guessed yet this is an anthro story, and my first time writing a story in first person, so we'll see how this goes.

The prologue for this story starts sixteen years prior to the return of Nightmare Moon and the story's main events take place after Season 3 ends.

Twilight leaves for a week and a half and it looks like theirs a fire in the library what is he going to do.

This takes place two years after season four. Spike is about 18 and the CMC are only a year behind.

Spike wakes up on the side of an unfamiliar road, with only a confusing memory of the night before and a very unspecific note in his hand. Following the road, he finds himself in the town of Dragonsville, a rural town in the direct center of the country of Serpentia, land of love, tolerance, and harmony. Upon entering the town, he comes face-to-face with the most confusing group of dragons he's ever met: Pinkie Pie, the baker; Rainbow Dash, the stunt flyer; Applejack, the farmer; Rarity, the designer; Fluttershy, the animal enthusiast; Twilight Sparkle, the librarian; and Spike, the #1 assistant, who also happens to be a unicorn, a species most rare in this land.

And so begin the most incredible two weeks of Spike's life...

Gods can be real dicks. That is the one thought that has echoed throughout my head since I arrived here. Don't worry about my name as I'm sure you will find out soon enough. Being only one of thirteen males on the entire planet kind of has that effect. What? Only one of thirteen you ask? Well yes that is what I just said after all. Basically it all boils down to someone making someone mad so someone, The second someone, placed a curse on the planet that is slowly killing off the worlds population. And guess whose job it is to figure out how to lift the curse? Not mine actually, but I've decided to make it mine anyways. If you would like to find out more about me and the quest that I have taken all you have to do is ask, but be warned, the tale I have to tell is quite...unusual.

Spike seems to have moved on, while Rarity is stuck impressing him and trying to get him to have feelings for her once again. What Rarity doesn't know is Spike still loves her, but he's getting sick and tired of the way she treats him, even though he's a teenager now. Will this be a roller coaster ride for both of our lovelies, or will it end horribly?

Well... I honestly can't believe that this happened... and after living in that jungle for 12 years after waking up on that beach... And now I'm in a tree... with windows... and a tribal women. Well first impressions are the key here. Too bad for my self that I spat blood in the rainbow haired one's face... What's that? You want me to tell you what happened in those 12 years? Well too bad! It's my story and I will tell it how ever I damn well please. Maybe later I will tell you, but for now it will progress from my first hours, to 12 years later. It has been more than one hundred years since Celestia banished Nightmare Moon. While Equestria has enjoyed a century of relative peace and prosperity, there are still lingering tensions between the three pony tribes.
