Surviving Spark

by JackTheEpic

Your friendly neighborhood kidnapper

"You mentioned someone named Lyra, and that they are obsessed with humans. What can you tell me about them?" I asked Fluttershy

"Well, from what I remember, she has been obsessed with humans ever since Derpy dropped a coconut on her head. To tell the truth, she hasn't been the same since." she said with a frown

"What do you mean, "Hasn't been the same since?" I asked with an eyebrow raised

"Well, before she was focused on getting into the Canterlot Grand Symphony, but now all she wants is to find that humans are real. And well, here you are. Personally, I think it would be better if she didn't find out. Because I fear what she would do to you." again she said this with a frown.

"What does Lyra look like?" I asked

"Well she is a mint green Unicorn with cyan hair with a white streak in it."

"Oh ok, now I kno.... Wait, Unicorn?" I said with a confused look on my face

"Yeah, Unicorn, you know, she has a horn on her head. Why do you look so confused?"

"I have never heard of anyone with a horn before. Are there any other species classifications I should know about?"

"Well there are Pegasi like my self, although the singular is Pegasus, and we have wings. Then there are Earth Ponies who don't have a horn or wings. And then there are Alicorns like Luna who have both wings and a horn." She said with a look that made her look like a scholar.

"Why did you refer to that one group as Ponies? Since although I may not remember my past, I do remember that Ponies and Horses In general walked on four legs not two."

"Well we actually use to refer to groups of people as everypony not too long ago, but recently as more species other than ponies have been living in Equestria lately, we have changed it over to everyone to be more ethnically accurate."

"I see, and you mentioned that you had wings. Can I see them?" I asked

She responded with a small blush for some reason while she nodded her head. They seemed to come out of nowhere, but all the while I was memorized by how large they where. Just by looking at them, I would have to say each wing was about 5ft across, and they were buttery yellow in color. And now that I look closer her skin is a buttery yellow as well. "Wow." Was all I could say in response.

She folder her wings back up but still had a small but noticeable blush on her face, she also seemed to become smaller, as if trying to hide. All the while Luna was looked like she was going to put the room I was in on lockdown. I even saw here eyes dart across the room ever now and again. As if looking for all entry points into the room. Her paranoia was too good to pass up. Now in hindsight it might have been a bit mean, but I couldn't help but blurt out, "Look it's Lyra!" As I pointed to a window behind her. She spun around, and horn ablaze she blasted the window with a blue beam of light. It looked like an overpowered laser personally. And upon realizing that nothing was there she turned back to be with a flustered look on her face and said, "Not funny."

With a grin on my face I said, "Sorry, but you need to lighten up a bit, you will overwork yourself worrying about things that are unlikely to happen."

"Your tempting fate by saying that, you know that right?" Luna said

"Meh, what you going do about something you can't control, also I saw that you had a horn when you blasted that window, so im guessing your a Unicorn then?"

"No, I'm a alicorn, and my sister is as well."

"Ah, I see." I say just before I look out the window and notice the sun is setting in the sky. "Looks like it is getting late"

Luna and Fluttershy look out the window after I said that, and give a small nod, recognizing the time as well.

"I think it's about time we leave for the day, we will be back tomorrow, ok." Luna says

"Ok, see ya." I say while waving my hand at them as they walk out the door.

I watch as the sun sets and the moon rises, looking forward to a restful night's sleep in a REAL BED! I adjust my bed sheets just before closing my eyes and drifting off to sleep.

"Finally they have left it alone. Now it will be all mine." I say to myself

I sneak up to the hospital building, and start to climb up to it's floor. By the time I reach the top by fingers are sore, and my hooves hurt. But it doesn't matter, for tonight I will have a Human, and I can prove that I AM NOT CRAZY! I carefully open the window with my magic, hoping that the windows weren't rigged with a magic detection charm. I wait a minute before climbing into the room, and I see my prey just laying there, on the bed with no protection what so ever. And off to the side I see a bag of what I assume contains its stuff. Now normally I would lunge for that stuff, but why go for the things when I could get a living Human instead. I set my black back on the floor and grab my bottle of chloroform and a rag. Pouring some chloroform on the rag, I then proceed to cover the Human's mouth and nose with the chloroform soaked rag, while holding it down. It's eyes shoot open, and it tries to struggle, but as it does it breaths in the chloroform and ends up knocking it self unconscious.

I pull it out of bed, and from my bag a grab a harness, I slip it on the human. I then grab the rope from my bag and attach the rope to the harness. Then tying the other end of the rope to the bed frame, I pick up the human and carry it over to the window. Then carefully lowering it down to the ground. When the rope starts to gain slack I know it is on the ground. Not wanting to leave any evidence behind, I untie my rope, and make sure that I leave nothing behind. Then climbing back out the window, and shutting it with magic. I climb down to the ground careful not to step on what will most likely be my only specimen. On the ground I pick up the Human and slump him over my shoulder. Then quickly but quietly I carry it back to my second home on the edge of town. Opening the door I head to the basement that I had prepared just for this very day. I set the human in the cage that I had made, and as I walk out I hear it moan, a sign that I is either waking up or is hurt. I decide that I will ask it when it wakes up. I shut the door and lock it with several different locks. All that require a different key to open. Outside the cage I pull up a wooden chair, sit down, and wait. Wait for when it will wake up. Then, All my dreams will come true.
