(First-Person, Reader X Chrome Pony)

So, you wake up to find you're in your iPod. Not to mention, your web browser is kinda cute. Now what?

An idea I couldn't get out of my head. Thank SwiperTheFox. But be warned, I'm pretty sure most of his stuff airs on the dangerous side of fanfiction.

One day, while collecting wild vegetables in the Everfree Forest, Fluttershy encounters a strange, sentient flower going by the name of "Flowey," and the two become fast friends. After taking him home with her and letting him get to know her other pals, they begin to suspect that this plant, his cheerful personality, and his ulterior motives might not be all they truly seem, despite Fluttershy's claims on the contrary...

Imagine being stuck in the mind of a pony that you can't stand and is the exact opposite of you.
Now imagine having your life torn away from you, and you've just gotten it back; only to face just as many hardships as before.
And then imagine you were just told you technically shouldn't even exist.
That's my life.

This story is a sequel to Caged Inside, but is written in a way that it's not necessary to read it first.

Twilight Sparkle never seemed to notice Lyra Heartstrings. She didn't even remember Lyra's name.

They were friends back in Canterlot and even went to school together. Yet Twilight didn't notice that Lyra just happened to move to Ponyville the same day she did. She didn't even notice when Lyra appeared at her welcoming party. Nor did she ever seem to spot her old classmate passing by in the background on any other day during her stay in Ponyville. Some days she could look right at Lyra and never realize that they knew each other.

Lyra isn't a very noticeable pony. She has put a lot of effort into that.

Set in late season 5, after Amending Fences.
Note: Lots of spoilers in the comments.

A human has arrived in Ponyville that the Apples dubbed, "Anonymous."
Twilight is worried he might be dangerous. They know nothing about him after all. However, the Apples still treat him like a common pet, until he begins mimicking speech.

I woke up to a burning building coming down on top of me.

Oh yeah, that isn't even the half of it. There's these freaky Technicolor horses everywhere too and a few of them were dressed in golden armour.

They bound me, dragged me to the castle and hooked me up to some chains. Currently I'm being interrogated by a white unicorn... guard. Whatever it's called.

Well, it's not like it could get much worse, right?

I got featured a couple times. Yeah, I'm surprised too.

A new pony has arrived in Ponyville on the day of Summer Sun Celebration. Who is he? He's nice but when the residents of the town learn more about him, even more unanswered questions seem to pop up.
Can anypony figure out this mystery?
Probably when they actually ask the right question.
Are they going to?
No
Will he interfere with events?
We'll see.

This is just an idea I had and wrote by hand (later edited onto a computer) in a matter of a few hours. I have no delusions that this is a perfect story. Just some fun I had when writing out ideas. For the most part it will focus on different ponies crossing paths with him as the series goes on and not directly follow him. This IS technically a Human in Equestria story but by no means is he ordinary, both in body and mind as you will notice in the first chapter. He WILL be unrealistic, so please no comments about him not reacting to the situation like a normal person.
As for the back story of the character, I had originally included it but at second glance, I felt it would be better for both people inside and outside of the story to figure it out.

I was once a human. Now I'm a really strange pony. I think I'm a pony anyway. Ponies don't have weird eyes like mines though.

I don't know why this is happening. I miss my friends and family.

Above all, I think I miss my sanity. Will this nightmare ever end? Will I be set free?
