Rainbow Dash, the greatest flier in all of Equestria and the Element of Loyalty, has had only one dream her entire life: to join The Wonderbolts. What Dash doesn't realize is that doing this would ultimately mean giving up her friends. In fact, she never even gave it a thought until a pegasus named Sound Cloud arrives in Ponyville looking for her. This pony is shrouded with secrets- what could this pegasus want with Rainbow Dash? Upon eavesdropping on a conversation between Rarity and Twilight Sparkle, Spike discovers what his "true love" really thinks of him, and after reminiscing on his thoughts about it, he slowly begins to drift away from his friends. With sorrow and despair in his heart, Spike runs away from home, and runs into an old enemy that tries to help him out.

However, after realizing what she has done, Rarity begins to realize and discover that she has feelings for Spike after all, but can she save him before it's too late?

Back home from "The Sandbox", one soldier tries to rebuild and restart his life. Though broken and depressed from battle, he is unsure about his place in life. Still living inside the bottle, he discovers MLP:FiM, which gives him hope and motivation to carry on. But his trip to the Central Library one day is what seals the fate of this soldier's future.

A small salute to those who have put themselves on the line and those who are going to.
