How does Equestria survive with so few males? How is it that no ponies ever seem to mate? Answers come when mating season leads all of your favorite ponies to receive their call to duty and become the parents of the next generation of ponies.

Note: While it will be alluded to, this will not be a clopfic and will contain no actual sex scenes. Please do not read this is that is what you are looking for.

The Cutie Mark Crusaders ask Rainbow Dash and Fluttershy about what happened just after the events of the Cutie Mark Chronicles; specifically, what happened to Fluttershy and Rainbow Dash immediately after the race. Reluctantly, Dash and Fluttershy delve into a tale. A tale of a young Fluttershy's amazement at the world she had landed upon, and a filly Dash's desperate quest to save her from that most evil of places: THE GROUND.

Rarity's boutique is failing, but when Rainbow bursts through her door with a half dead unicorn stallion bleeding out in her arms, Rarity discovers a new type of magic she had never known existed. After being offered a somewhat sketchy job by the unicorn, she decides to take it, someones gotta pay the bills.

A stallion by the name of Shadow Weaver, who has led a life of crime for quite a while now, ends up in Ponyville, where a certain mare comes along and causes his life to take a major turn... Possibly for the better.
