Nondis is a man who managed to find himself Equestria. While Twilight and the other princesses try to find him a way home, he realizes that finding a way back is only a minor problem in comparison to his growing attachments to some of the Mane Six.

Holy shit..
Yeah. Definitely complicated.
Man, Cadance is such a cunt, it was about time that this would come back to bite her in the ass. And Blueblood, I am feeling a bit worried for what he has in stored for the royals and Nondis.
Been waiting for the next chapter....so good...need moar!
Personally I'm with Blueblood. Playing nice has got them nothing but pain, so it's time to get dirty. The question now will be how dirty Blueblood plans for them to get...
Of i had to really state what I thought. I figured Twilight was going to pull this move, and she didn't disappoint. In fact it's far better because now if played right this could be done by two ends. The royalty and Nondis as if they make it a heated battle between them. Then all eyes will be on the fireworks and not the sneaky chess moves being played. Which even Celestia would have to agree with. With the inflated egos of the others in play any new laws that would put Nondis in the control spot would work. Because if they are as "clever" as they think they are. Then they need a true power piece, which as they know Nondis is. And is it bad that I hope by the end of the law Nondis goes "Hello, my name is Nondis , soldier , and captain of the guards for Equestria. I answer to summons, I clean up the trouble, and I take out the trash. And I deal self-entitled little twats like yourself." Before giving the a big healthy BOOT!
Another amazing chapter, as usual.:D
I've read stories with fucked nobles, but Jesus Christ do I want to stab a couple of em in this one! I'm so glad that Non' doesn't have to deal with that shit anymore.
I also approve of the Hellsing reference.
Cadence's inability to see that she's become a manipulative bitch is an interesting hook! I think it pairs well with her being the 'wild one' in the relationship, the one who drew Shining out of his shell... and also the one who keeps throwing caution to the wind in favour of what she thinks at any given moment is 'right'. It sheds a little more light on what happened with the nobility throwing Shining at Arimaspi Mountain, and it strikes me now that Twilight was very much emulating her in a lot of ways. Despite this, I hope it doesn't throw too big a wrench into her relationship with her husband.
That aside with Flash Sentry almost made me ruin another keyboard with soda. He might not be the coldest ice cube in the bucket, but at least he doesn't ignore most of the warning bells when they're ringing in symphonic unison. On the other hand, Moondancer... well, ah, good luck, dude.
Blueblood acting like a manipulative, snarky asshole here does make a lot of sense. He hasn't quite learned that when it comes to humans, nothing ever goes according to plan; there are always more complications involved. Hopefully he'll be able to rebox most of that bitterness when it comes to the rest of the nobility, lest the long knives start getting pointed at him -- though he'd probably make some pretty decent ablative armor. And nobody would aim for his head: why sink your blade into something that's nothing but fat?
Nondis' conversation with his dad was... really painful to read, even moreso than Twilight's breakup with him, and I bet also pretty painful to write. That repetition of "Yes sir" at the end is maybe the most defeated I've ever heard Nondis sound. (And Melanie can sure put a lot of 'grudgingly' into those two syllables, can't she?) Applejack's both right on the small points and wrong on the big ones, or is that vice versa...? Either way. And Celestia proves herself awesome by promising to put herself in the line of fire, but I have a sneaking suspicion that if it comes to that, Haines Sr. is going to find himself confronted with at least two princes, three princesses, the rest of the Mane Six, and probably a good portion of the Guard. In their natural forms.
A cooldown over the next couple chapters does sound like a good idea, both in story terms and because Nondis does seriously deserve some rest. A lot's happened recently, after all. (Cliff, Rickey, Alex, Stanton and Melanie, on the other hand, should absolutely keep humaning things up in Canterlot, especially since they'll keep most of the nobility on eleventerhooks. Having them around will keep Blueblood's enemies looking over their shoulders at every moment. After all, they've already demonstrated their capacity for destruction: who knows what else these homins can do?)
On reflection, I think I've grokked why that conversation between Nondis and his father was so painful to read. The man will be getting Nondis another job, because he doesn't think Nondis can do so on his own. The man will be making sure Nondis is safe. The man doesn't see Nondis as anything but a manchild at primary school.
The man is going to be getting a very pointed education in what Nondis has managed to accomplish.
The pic didn't load for me

Because the brain is mostly made of fat. Whether they know it or not, if someone calls you a fat-head, that's a compliment.
I can't figure out Bluebloods stance for the life of me. I love it
Buck me sideways this gets better with every update. Keep it up looking forward to the next chapter.
Man thank the heavens he finally called cadence out on her one sided bull sh*t I felt she was doing more harm then good. I hope shining doesn't wimp out and not make her sleep on the couch or something she never sat down with nony and got his half of the story. Plus the days not even done and allready she's thinking on setting twi up with who she thinks is appropriate....thats what's really the issue her choice wasn't the one that happened.. in other words she was wrong twi liked flash but flash didn't like her but she didn't care about the stallions perspective she just wanted it to work her way. She's a manipulative bi**h. Watch if bluebloods tactic starts to work she's probably gonna try to sabotage it because her ideas the only one that'll work.
I volunteer as the massacrist that makes canterlot run red with the blood of politicians. give me access to a few weapons and a unicorn willing to go nuts with enchantments and and we can a model of a UNFC Spartan 2 program.
...
Why has nopony thought of that yet? Enchant rounds to implode on impact. Charm a minigun to be weightless. Use a spell matrix to auto-aim the sniper. Craft a Magitech suit to make a human stronger, faster, and more agile than an arimaspi. I know it's early in the "tech meets magic" era, but somebody has to have thought of this.
...am I the only one here who kinda wants Nondis to be with Rarity?...
I do wish for more interactions with Mel and Dash, not sure if Nondis and Twi can bounce back but we'll see what happens.

No, i also want him to be with her, out of all the candidates, she is the best suited, followed by pinky; now if he gets to choose are royal, then Celestia is a better choice than Twilight.
I was glad to see this had updated, and I'm eagerly awaiting the next chapter!
About time Nons is getting greasy. This is real revolution apposed to Candy's diplomatic Sunday chit-chat. Give that man steel-toe boots and literally start punting politicians hindquarters into orbit so high that sputnik blushes. Sunday bloody Sunday.
soo. he will turn into ultron? :P
The high road was full of blood, guilt, and trauma. Now let's see where the low road takes us
YAY finally found new Lon story to read that’s still going . Benn looking for while sense don’t get cocktail writer died
Sweet goodness, what a read. After over a month of binge reading, I'm finally caught up. And wow, this new chapter presents several new avenues. Though, I think that's the case with almost every chapter; hence, the title of the fic.
I'm really intrigued about where Blueblood and Nondis' alliance will go. I kinda have a sneaking suspicion hat Blueblood will seek to, in a way, turn him against the other nobles, leaving him in a bad light with Celestia. I dunno, I'm crazy.
Even though their break up was inevitable, I hated reading about it. I just wish thinfo could have turned out differently, that they couldn't taken things slower at the beginning. Because I really do want hem to be together, and for the life of me, I never really saw why they were so bad for each other until recently. All in all, this story hurts me so, but I can't stop.
I’ve read this story and it is really good, but I’m curious to know, does Twilight ever get her wings back?
Will Twilight and Nondis ever get back together
Mr author. Please update. Have read a lot of stories, even the down right dark twisted ones....no bueno. No idea what stories are good for rated M or T. Maybe I need to sacrifice someone to the story gods
I'm not looking forward to whatever smug reaction the Count may have to the news of Twilight and Nondis' breakup. Even though he's got some shit he's dealing with, I just have a feeling he's gonna be shoving his shit-eating grin in Nondis' face somehow, and the thought makes me seethe.
I’m waiting for this to get 999 likes so I can like and be number 1000 lol
Finally caught up.
Favorited.

Wooo 1000 thanks for heads up. Cross that up my list . Wanted be 1000 for something lol
>mfw nice people
I’m really starting to see this Equestria as an enemy. Cadence is OOC so I have no pity on this Equestria if I would declare war on it.
