Nondis is a man who managed to find himself Equestria. While Twilight and the other princesses try to find him a way home, he realizes that finding a way back is only a minor problem in comparison to his growing attachments to some of the Mane Six.

Damn, another one?! I thought there’d be more time between epilogue releases. Ach I’m barely gonna have time between work to read ‘em lol
Oh yeah, lived through that shit myself in north Fort Worth. Shit sucked. We were out of power and running water for over a week, had to stay in a hotel after the first night because it was getting down to 35 indoors. Texas government is fucking dogshit. Man, this was a good chapter! Super rough to see Nondis’ moment with Celestia there, and terrifying to see just how close Umbra was to achieving his goals.
I know the chapter was about Melanie & her story concluding but man did the scene between Celestia & Nondis overshadow the hell out of everything.
I have never felt so bad for a character than Nondis. The way he just broke down in the middle of the street after looking seemingly good to everyone else in the bar was just heartbreaking. Almost had me tear up for real. I'm glad that Celestia is there to be his everything that he needs to feel something. They are definitely an amazing couple. All the more reason to see their conclusions.
And for his parents to know what was done to their child....No parent should ever have to hear that something so foul & immoral was done upon their flesh & blood. Fuck Umbra all the way! Glad that monster's dead! I spit on his fictional grave!
Moving on to more positive vibes.. Congratulations on the kid Melanie! 👏 Her conclusion was a great usage of 'real time' & her feelings on everything happening on Earth is pretty much accurate as shit. Moving to Equestria is the move!
And I love that she changed what the name Jasper meant to her. She'll now be able to say that name & not feel fear but love for not just her child but her husband who has stood by her for so long.
Good on ol Rickey for tying the knot!
Cliff...THAT'S MY DAWG! He living his best life with Sunset in her world & I'm so happy for him. We likely won't be seeing his exploits as he is a supporting & not a complete main asset to the story & while that sucks that we won't be seeing possibly the funniest sex scene that could've been written in this story, I'm truly happy to know that he & Sunset are ENDGAME!
Blue, Nondis & Kalimba being so high off that good shit that they just had a whole ass threesome was funny as hell. Poor Alex had to hear that his baby brother out here giving ponies a ride. 😅
Celestia with the understandable cockblock on Cobalt! She tried it!😁
Now onto everyone's favorite badass Zebra! She is one of the people who deserves a happy ending! I'm ready to see one as the epilogues so have been more or less sad & or bittersweet. Melanie's is rather in-between the two. I need me some happiness out here.
Great chapter! Can't wait for Kalimba!

Melanie’s epilogue has got to be my favorite so far! Really glad to see her life turning so positive, despite the current world climate forcing her to change worlds, and about her parents. Goddamn that sucks.
And fuck yeah, my heart jumped when I read about Cliff and Sunny! Definitely wish we got to see more of them in here, but that’s understandable as their parts haven’t been as substantial.
Mel’s chapter also kinda addressed a theory I had. When Nondis had sex with Twilight while she was in human form, that got me to thinking what if his sperm takes in her while she’s a human? We’re she a pony at the time there’d be no concern as she wasn’t in estrus. A while back I kinda jokingly expected her to pop in amidst all the drama to tell Nondis she’s pregnant with his kid lol. But I’m kinda glad that wasn’t the case. And it makes more sense in Mel’s case because she’s a human at her core and when she changed back to her normal body, Rickey’s seed would take.
Reread this chapter & that is just so damn cute despite the conversation. Wonder what his nickname is for her.
Maybe it will be covered in Nondis or Celestia epilogue but if he has the same gift/curse as Umbra now does that mean he has achieved some form of longevity? Could be nice for Celestia to not have to worry about her partner dying of old age or the pains associated with it.

What chapter is this from?

Recently released chapter. Should say the name of it under yours or other's comments. It's during Nondis's breakdown in the street with Celestia

Oooh I gotcha. I’m on mobile and looking at it under the story’s main page and not any chapters, so it doesn’t show chapters in people’s comments. And thanks! I saw her use that nickname a chapter or two ago I think, but don’t remember seeing it in Mel’s epilogue. And I think his nickname for her is ‘Cella’? I thought I remembered him coming up with Tia early on in the story but she rejected it, maybe because only Luna could use it? Been too long for me to remember coherently lol
Love the overlap and extra povs
Just reread Nondis's breakdown in the street with the song the author has chosen & jesus christ I'm so close to letting the tears flow from from my eyes.
Amazing song choice & such a powerful scene showing how those affected by such heinous acts such as r*** act. Not saying I was r***d but I have so much empathy for people who have been subjected to such terror against their will.
Nondis is a survivor in my eyes because while the memory of what was done to him may continue to be just that, he continues to pull through not just for himself but for those he loves. He has a future in Equestria & Celestia is the perfect partner to keep him in check.
Two broken people recovering together & creating something beautiful out of it as a very powerful "FUCK YOU!" to the pain they've endured. I'm starting to really like these two together the more I think about it.
Stay strong Nondis.
Stay strong.
Here come the waterworks man.

Right with ya, man. Just read Shining’s epilogue and the trial was great, it was so satisfying to see Alex tearing into the defending lawyer. And seeing Nondis have to listen tot he recording of his first taste of violation...good god it almost makes me sick to my stomach. Rape always makes me very uncomfortable. I actually almost had to stop reading this story fully when that happened to him. It felt so horrible and...just wrong. I wish they’d found another way to let Umbra’s pain and suffering be drawn out, become everlasting in some way. But then again he’d probably find some way to laugh about that.

Dude, I almost fuckin’ broke down with her! Just finished the chapter and goddamn is it bittersweet for me. It’s a fucking beautiful thing with the fact that Law Processu Aprobatio is finally, finally, FUCKING FINALLY gone! I’ve been reading this story for almost five long years, many others since the very beginning. And all that time we’ve waited for that stupid law, the source of so much anguish and misery since before the story’s current time takes place, not to mention being one of the driving conflicts and causing shitloads of pain in the present, is at last gone! They’re free!
Twilight’s rant at Umbra was fucking cathartic too (I hope I’m using that correctly?). I’ve been waiting for her to finally spill her guts about how she feels about that whole bullshit. And the conversation between her and Nondis just after the law...man. It just reminds me how much I wish they really could try again. That was admittedly one of my main reasons to keep reading this story. By the time I’d started and gotten caught up to the current chapter at the time, Twilught had literally just broken up with Nondis, leaving me desperate to know what happens next. That was my big hope for this monstrously long story. 1.27 million words passed since then.
I truly am crushed they couldn’t get back together or try again. I’ll probably never get over that or stop disagreeing with it, even if Celestia and Nondis being together has grown on me. Seeing Twilight’s thoughts in the future is still a nice touch, showing a realistic mindset about the struggles of getting back into it. But still really sad to see she hasn’t found something for herself yet. In the end a good chapter and a monumental achievement in the case of the approval process law being cast away, but still bittersweet imo.
Also I hope you’re not bothered by my constant replies! I just don’t have many to talk and gush about this story with lol. As I said before, you’re a great dude to talk to!

Well the drama’s done. As for the latter...

I'm not sweating the replies at all. To be honest I didn't see them because I was off my phone at the time & busy lol.
Anyway, yeah Twilight's conclusion was definitely bittersweet. I do love that she eventually accepted that her future wasn't with Nondis instead continuing to want that was just never going to happen.
Seeing this hurt more than should have. She really did still love him for all those years. Sucks that her romantic life is gonna be basically on hold for god knows how long. My only hope is that she does find someone who would treat her right. Nondis did his best but it wasn't meant to last given how toxic they both were towards each other. Immaturity on both parties & moving too fast is what ended their relationship. I do love that she regrets not truly letting him know just how much she wanted to be together with Nondis again but it's good to know that she knew what the true issue was & is willing to work on herself for who knows how long & maybe...just maybe a love will renter her life. There's hope for the nerd. She has all the time in the world. Celestia waited centuries, she can as well.
Melanie is a character that's far too easy to hate. She wants a governor to do something about a pandemic with a 99% survival rate if its anything like the real world one, which this story seems to imply it is, in a nation whose core principles are freedom.
I guess she lives in a world where MLK never existed, nor Oprah, nor Obama, nor half the NFL? So, she has to deal with lots of unrealistically racist people, which sucks for her, I guess.
Her parents died from Covid, so I guess maybe my last point was incorrect and it wasn't realistic, and the story had an actual pandemic that could kill off more than 1% of people mainly those who're already near deaths door, and the far fewer of that 1% who just can't handle it for whatever reason.
She votes Trump out of office b/c I guess in this story/universe he actually is racist?
She's blaming the governor for power outages, and instead of moving to a state that surely will never have those issues b/c they're ran by the other party, like say California, where I'm sure people are not moving out of in droves.
Bleh, she's impulsive and yes selfish, but what makes her so hate-able is the fact she doesn't see the contradiction in her actions and words, and when she sounds like she's saying she understands something she's not really just talking about an orange when the subject was apples.
This hit me hard....... I lost my mom to it January 22nd........ she was only 46. She fought hard for over a month, but the damage to her lungs was too much........ she had to be intubated, and for it she had to be put under...... she went to sleep, and never woke up....... and to make matters harder, today was Mother's Day.......
I do kinda wish to see more of Cliff and Sunset’s relationship.
