This story is a sequel to The Blueblood Papers: Royal Blood

The Heartlands Campaign has begun. As Equestria launches an all-out offensive to finally end the war in the Badlands, Commissar Prince Blueblood is captured by the enemy. Believing he has avoided the carnage, he awaits the end of the war in the safety of a Changeling prison camp. If only his fellow prisoners would stop trying to help him escape.

Soon, he finds himself drawn into a plot that could spell defeat for Equestria.

Princess Luna and Celestia both, years ago, trapped a small cat like creature in a prison with magical enchantments to preventing it from using its magic to cause panic among their subjects. Now the two monarchs are going to have a little chat with this small creature.

When I woke up this morning, I was expecting to curse at the sun for ruining my rest. Instead, the sun is cursing back at me for taking its place.

On the plus side, neither of us are okay with this turn of events.

Pax was as normal as normal could get.

He was a normal earth pony, with uninteresting cutie mark, and uninteresting future. Pax refused to accept his role in life, he wanted to be a great hero, save Equestria! Just like the six elements of harmony!

However during his attempts he found an old a sealed away evil. Without knowing the danger, Pax struck a deal with the creature and gained the powers he needed to become a hero!

Unknown to him, he had unleashed an unrelenting evil upon the lands. After being confronted and exposed, Pax was locked away as the elements tried to seal the creature away once again.

Wanting to make up for his mistakes, Pax sacrifices himself, bonding with the creature, trapping it inside himself and then seals them both away.

Now he's trapped for eternity, leaving him to deal with his shame and guilt...

What happens when a lucid dreamer ended up in Equestria during the fight between Celestia and Nightmare Moon? The answer is he gets caught in the magical blast from the Element of Harmony and Nightmare Moon, becoming the new guardian of the dream realm, but will the ponies accept a new dream walker?

The world of dreams is mine to control, I am its master, I am its guardian, I am the Prince of Dreams. I am the son of Nightmare Moon.

Rated Teen due to sexual innuendos, cursing, and violence. Doesn't contain graphic depictions of violence, but nightmares can be scary.
