Morpheus would be the Bearer of the Element of Magic. Not only is he an Alicorn, but he also has basic knowledge of a few human magical systems as well as the Equestrian magic he would be taught.

Alright, I'm hitting a slight writer's block. I have a new young (age 8 at least) Unicorn filly who wants to be a healer (Doctor). She's very kind and wants to help as much as she can. I originally named her Ruby Rose, but then I got a better idea to make that name for a Crystal Pony in the next story of Morpheus.

Well, I finally had the time to finish Chapter 14 and now sent it to my Editor. Hopefully, I won't have to rewrite too much before I post!

Chapter 15 wouldn't be very long. It just wrapping up what has been happening. Morpheus gets officially recognized as Luna's Son and well the rest would be spoilers.

There was a death in the family, someone very dear to me.

So that old Frienimy of mine Depression came and kept me company.

Then the good new, new job. Bad new, had to move everything in boxes!

Things emotionally are picking up and Chapter 14 be posted hopefully soon.

So I rewriting chapter 14 of Prince of Dreams. I realized I was writing more filler to make the chapter longer than it needed to be. Among my sins was rehashing info I already had in earlier chapters, like how Celestia wasn't the skilled Diplomate and chess master we see in the show. How she doubted herself.

Redoing it and hopefully, it wouldn't be too long till I post the story. After this, I do some Epilogue info, so I really have to pull everything together in a satisfying climax.

After my brush with Covid, it then went to affect the rest of my family. So I was got distracted taking care of them. Now I'm working on editing and should be posting chapter 13 soon.

On another subject... happy birthday to me!

Just to inform everpony I’m now suffering the symptoms of Covid. I have been fully vaccinated with booster shot and after three days my symptoms are getting easier to deal with.

What this means is I haven’t been writing much on Chapter 13 of Prince of Dreams.

It’s almost ready for the Editor so it’s coming. Just got to wait a little longer.

Okay, just a little brainstorming. Or fishing for ideas whatever you want to call it.

How would you sneakily try to assassinate an 11-year-old Alicorn? Think Middle Ages for tech level so no sniper rifles or plastic explosives. Gunpowder might be possible.

Update: most suggested assassination - sneak knife attack. The second most suggested is poison.

I went with the bat-winged Nightmare Moon. Partly to connect her to the "Bat-Ponies" a bit more and the second is to help separate this Equestria from the cartoon. So do you want to know what she looks like? I visualize her similarly to the Nightmare Moon in the animation Moonrise on Youtube.

I finished writing the rough draft of Chapter 12 and it’s now in the Editing stage.

Chapter 13 I’m organizing my notes and preparing to start writing.

Things are coming to the grand climax and I hope I do it right. I’m really nervous about chapter 14 when everything comes together.

I'm finished with the first draft of Chapter 11. Now for my Editor to make some sense of my insanity.

Okay I have a issue I need some brain storming for.

The situation is two characters are trapped in a sound proof room. There is a window with thick glass.

The characters don’t have the means to break the glass. They can however see somepony outside who could help.

How would you get them noticed?

A quick update on Prince of Dreams. I'm now 3000 words into the new chapter and have two more sections to write! This is going to be another big chapter so it taking a little more time.

Anyone that read the unedited version I really suggest you read the edited version. I rewrote some major elements and added over 2000 words. Some of the new stuff does have an impact going forward with the story.

Chapter 11 is already being written! I'm out of my depression and feeling creative again. It may or may not have anything to do with the My Little Pony the New Generation move, but those songs were awesome!

I’m finishing up on reworking Chapter 10 edits. I made some major changes and revealed some of what really happening in the story.

Hopefully I be posting the Edited Chapter 10 by this weekend.

I haven't updated the chapter yet but I’m going to make some changes.

Nothing major all the key moments are still going to be in there. The only change is how David gets out of Limbo and ends up seeing the fight between Celestia and Nightmare Moon.

Why? Well that has to do with something that happens in chapter 10. Once I read my notes and wrote the chapter I didn’t like how it read. So I rewrote a few things, now need to make it fit with the part in Chapter 1.

My bout of depression is settling down and I'm feeling productive again.

Sent Chapter 10 to my editor EverfreePony and hopefully the corrections won’t be to long.

Two big reveals happen in this chapter and I look forward to seeing the comments.
