It started as a normal Equestrian morning, but doesn't it always? The princesses are frightened, and in Ponyville, a creature from a forgotten race walks into town. His kind hasn't been seen in over a thousand years, but even then he's still far from what he appears to be.

Arc 1: The First Day

Author's Note: Hey guys! This is my first story, so constructive criticism is more than welcome. I'll take this moment to say that I own nothing but my main character, the plot, and a few surprises which will appear later. All other characters and linked music are NOT mine. A word on music. At times I might offer two links to a song. The first is the OFFICIAL version, the second is the closest approximation to how I feel it is sung in the story. Just warning you, because I know some people hate covers. This story is rated teen for occasional language, implied sex, and gruesome imagery (mostly late in the story and in flashbacks). You've been going to CHS for about two to three weeks now after moving from Hoofington. So far life have been anything but normal as you learned more and more about Sunset and her friends.

Though you and Sunset have gotten closer the past few days, something holds you back from asking the human pony out.

But will the presence of the three strangers you ran into the day you saved Sunny's life, especially a certain blue colored one, completely turn your world upside down and change your feelings and world forever?

More importantly, will you fall for the Siren's song or retain your freedom?

But above all, tales of heroism; the Miracle at Palaven, the evacuation of Uqbar by a single Alliance ship, the reconciliation of the geth and the quarians over a century-long feud.

But above all else, the N7s.

While not technically N7s, Alliance Command was willing to let the name be used. The N7s were balls-to-the-wall hardcore badasses; four of them were usually enough to hold a position against endless waves of indoctrinated humans, rogue Geth, Reaper Husks, or Collectors, made of a species long passed. No species or gender was restricted because no species or gender was safe. And one of these teams - Aleph Squad, a six-man testament to diversity and asskickery, was one of the best of the best.

After the end of the War, however, Aleph Squad went MIA. Nobody knows what happened to them. Not even Aleph Squad knows what happened to them. All they know is this; something went really wrong with the Crucible, because now they're stuck on a planet full of colorful talking horses and they can't get off.

One year after Vinyl Scratch has passed away, Octavia struggles to cope.

Queen Chrysalis has only one grub that has survived into fillyhood; her daughter, the physically lame and mentally impaired Crown Princess Pupa. Chrysalis has never been what many would call the 'maternal type', even towards Pupa, whose adoration of her mother has no bounds. Preferring to swamp herself in the dire affairs of state, Chrysalis lets her crippled daughter be raised by her affectionate nanny.

But one day, as the Changeling Kingdom's problems reach boiling point, the Queen's already short temper erupts and she must deal with the heartbreaking consequences...

Everyone knows the saying, 'No good deed ever goes unpaid', or something along the same length. In my case, however, when I discovered this odd guy kidnapping people at a Comic-Con and tried to stop it, said payment ended up with me in a world where everything's pastel-colored, and it's a virtual race of me against the world as I try to find all of the Great Kanohi scattered around the country. Oh, yeah, and for some reason, I'm now techno-organic, and I have to work with technicolor ponies to find Kanohi all around the world that grant me new forms of Toa.
