Cancer is a horrible illness. Fluttershy knows it all too well. After long weeks of chemo and medication, her doctor brings some bad news. Fluttershy's terminal. She takes her last few hours to say goodbye to her friends and write her will.

Dedicated to my cousin Celeste, who lost the fight against cancer one year ago.

Diamond Tiara has now become a young mare. Graduation is around the bend and she wants to make right what she has done to those she wronged in the past. She apologizes and eventually her reasons behind it become very clear.

And he's not out to take the Crystal Empire this time- he's out to take over all of Equestria, and he's starting with Ponyville, where there's no Crystal Heart protecting the town. Looks like Twilight and her friends are going to have to fight him up close and personal... But are they strong enough to beat him? Looks like it's gonna be another one of those days for Twilight and her friends...

Discord needs something to keep himself occupied that won't make him end up as a glorified lawn gnome for another thousand years. While the search for little ponies he can tutor in the ways of chaos is cold at first, he eventually stumbles on a little pony who seems after his own twisted patchwork heart. A little pony who's bossy. A little pony who's annoying. A little pony who, just possibly, reminds him a little of himself when he was just a few thousand years old.

Indeed, this "Diamond Tiara" is going to be the best student he's ever had!

In an alternate universe, Celestia is the dictator of the land of Paneighm. There used to be 13 districts, but the Lunar District, led by Princess Luna, rebelled and was destroyed. As a reminder to never rebel again, Celestia established an anual fight to the death with 24 tributes, one colt and one mare from each district. In the 74th Pony Games, Fluttershy volunteers to save Applejack's little sister. But will she survive? (NOTE: This story is based off the book by Suzanne Collins.
