There is a world where Life and Death govern all imaginable realms. A world where Watchers guard over their planets and the creatures that roam them. In this world, a young soul goes on a journey to a place he never thought existed, after cutting an untold deal with Death.

Equestria, a place of magical creatures and mysteries, offers him a new chance at life. A chance he will have to pay dearly for. This is the written story of his adventures, some of the sorrows and victories of his life as he goes through great challenges and fights his inner darkness.

At the end of this journey, one begs the question: What is better? To be born good, or to overcome your evil side through great effort and sacrifice?

At the behest of an Old Earth God, a brilliant young woman is upgraded then sent to Equestria in an attempt to garner favor for the Divines. That simple mission is waylaid when her arrival allows Discord to escape petrification at the hands of Celestia and Luna.

Hey, my name is James and everything was going great for me. I had a nice job, great house, loving family and the bestest friends you could have, but it all changed when I went to comic-con dressed as the legendary purple dragon himself, Spyro.

There I was checking out the different booths when a man called 'The Merchant' came literally out of no where and tried to sell me a power crystal from the Spyro games. I hesitated at first, but the price was reasonable so I bought it, but right when I grabbed the crystal I started to feel dizzy and that's when everything went black.

Now here I am stuck on a strange world, not knowing if I am ever going to find a way back home. Did I mention that there are also technicolor ponies that may or may not try to kill me?

A day that the world forever remembers as the day that Flight 19, a squadron of TBF Avenger torpedo bombers disappeared off the coast of Florida. Their disappearance was the spark that ignited the fire of one of the greatest unsolved mysteries of all time, as well as a name for one of the most mysterious places on Earth, the Bermuda Triangle. Ever since Flight 19's disappearance, many people have tried and failed to uncover the truth of what happened on that fateful day. All have failed. All that is, until the leader of Flight 19, Lieutenant Charles Taylor, decided to tell his story....

Note: This story begins in the year 1945, roughly 62 years before the events of MLP FIM start, which was in the Earth-Year 2006. (Yes, I know that it was 2010. However, their story BEGAN in 2006, it wasn't TOLD until 2010, when....well....I'm getting WAY too far ahead of myself!)

Meet Level Ledger, your average, well-read unicorn colt. He has a talent with numbers and systems, which is why Pegasus Air was so interested in acquiring his talents. They use him to make sure their books are balanced. Both the legal ones...and the ones that'll never see the light of day.

Meet Midnight Song, your not-average, well-trained Thestral mare. Everything she sets out to do, she accomplishes with aplomb. When she rises a little too quickly through the Day Guard's ranks, her superiors decide she needs to cool off and learn a bit about how to be a mature member of the Guard. Not a bad idea, seeing as she's a massive flirt.

When Level's rent goes up, he needs to take a roommate or risk being thrown out into the street. A twist of fate will see these two souls coming together and having the time of their lives.

Now, if only one of them could tell the truth to save their life...

A collab fic worked on by myself and Ausbrony. We liked the setting of Las Pegasus and the villains of Pegasus Air a lot, so we put our heads and characters together, and this came from our efforts.

In lieu of a list of dates, I will simply say that this story tends to get featured every time I update it for a short while at least. And I am very happy about that fact.~
