Dr. Nikolai dies in an accident while researching about wormholes, trying to turn back time despite it seeming impossible and ends up waking up in the Everfree forest in the body of a young pony, unaware of what he is.

His experiments on magic, his newfound interest attracts attention to himself despite his desire to remain hidden.

Set in the Pandemic Universe

Although the Southern and Central United States were some of the areas hardest hit by 2023's ETS pandemic, its reach extended beyond international borders. Carried on metal wings, people returning home from trips spread the virus to many whom they crossed. From there, wild spread was inevitable.

In Atlantic Canada, many such cases could be traced to arrivals or connecting flights out of Halifax Stanfield International Airport. The alleged primary case for the region was traveller and gambler, Jacen Cadlow, who returned home after an extended stay in Denver to recover from the flu. What made his case so bizarre wasn't just the unusual progression of his transformation, but also the conditions of his birth—so rare that no statistic existed to accurately quantify it.

Notes:
This story is set in the Pandemic universe brought to life by ASGeek2012. There will be no specific crossover, so prior knowledge isn't strictly necessary, but it would certainly be helpful. It is worth noting that the original Pandemic was penned prior to the Coronavirus pandemic that locked down much of the world from 2020 to late 2022. As such, this story is definitely considered an AU to Earth, a world where Covid-19 never occurred.

Rating notes: Profanity tag is self-explanatory. Sex tag for references to dalliances. Narcotics tag is present for smoking, as well as heavy use of painkillers late in transformation.

It wasn't Eric's fault he hit the alien with his truck. How was he supposed to see a dog-sized horse walking down the highway in the pouring rain? His life would've been simpler if he just left the animal like any other roadkill. But in his injured delirium, the horse spoke.

This accident soon ends with an intimate personal knowledge of just how dangerous magic can be. An ancient rises, tied to a mysterious tome the pegasus was protecting on the night of the accident. A malevolent force grows within those pages, whispering louder and louder about the cleansing flame. But without the spells inside that cursed tome, Eric's humanity will be gone forever.

It was reminiscent of his first years at Hogwarts on Earth. Harry took the train to the Crystal Empire and found himself in his old digs at Hogwarts in short order. But, things are not as they were. Minerva McGonagall has taken control of the school and is shepherding her students into a new life not just as ponies, but after the war against King Sombra's forces, protectors.

The only thing that remains same is there's a great evil threatening the peace of Hogwarts, the Crystal Empire, and the ponies, wizards, and witches that live within.

May 16th, 2024, Chaos has perished. Equestria is standing once again. To some, their story has ended. But at the same time, to someone, it is just a beginning.

Four friends found themselves a new twist in their lives. Their bodies were forever changed in a new equine body. Their lives cursed, the culprit lost, stranded in human world for another 30 months.

They will face challenges, they will break from time to time. But no matter what happens, they must not forget their true selves and the magic of harmony.

This is a side-fic for 'Five Score Divided by Four' by TwistedSpectrum. If you haven't read it, I recommend you to give it a shot. Also, try out other sidefics by other authors too. No other stories are needed prior to this.

Magic is real, and Derek is on the verge of unlocking its secrets. It doesn't matter that his best friend doesn't believe any of it, he'll still go along to his first real spell. Unfortunately for the two of them, the magic works a little too well.

Soon they're taken to a strange new world of supernatural horses, a world where intrigue and spellcraft are interwoven to an inescapable prison. An mysterious cult dedicated to the worship of the ancient Alicorns has finally brought two of the ancients back from banishment. Their spell didn't quite work out; they definitely expected the Old Gods to be a little... older.

If the two former humans want to have any hope of seeing their old world and old bodies again, they'll have to make quite an impression to their secret worshipers, or else find themselves at the mercy of the same Alicorn sisters who took over Equestria all those centuries ago.

That's only where their problems start. Growing up as a little pony in a town like Willowbrook might be the greatest challenge they've ever faced.

Harry Potter had the (mis?)fortune to fall through a portal to the Everfree near Ponyville. He was transformed into a unicorn, to his surprise. After being found, Twilight Sparkle took him in as an orphan, and to learn more about him as he learned more about Equestria. His adventures there are another story. This story is about what happens when he is pulled back to the human world by the Goblet of Fire when he is fourteen.

Finding himself back in the human world is bad enough, but also to discover he has an unbreakable magical contract to compete in a Tournament that is known for the deaths of the competitors is just icing on the cake. What else can go wrong?

The process and results of experimentation can be problematic or dangerous in terms of safety and disposal. Thanks to the convenience of dimensional portals, however, problematic and dangerous experiments can be easily dealt with.

There's just the matter of making sure that the destination on the other side of the portal was an appropriate dumping ground...

Peter Westmoore, 19 years old. Friends describe him as hard working, but a stick in the mud.
Peter never enjoyed the party scene, not when he could be honing his skills as an animator, nor did he have a taste for alcohol. And what does all that responsibility get him? A quick night terror and being dragged to Equestria. Now he, or rather "she" has to find a way back to his/her world. But the six colors adorning his new equine shape simply keep getting in the way. How will a now stressed college student adapt to the happy go lucky world of ponies, and as a filly no less?

Hi, no the story isn't dead, I'm just on the loosest schedule I can manage and still call it a schedule.

Like I've said in previous comments, this stories muse is out for a match of tennis, so it's grinding by very slowly.

On top of that, the most recent chapters don't flow very well with the rest of the story, so here's what I'm thinking;

I'm going to put 'er on hiatus, and go back, do a bit of touch up work on the chapters, bring the whole story in for an overhaul, then continue once it's all cleaned up.

If that doesn't work out, then I'll just have to buckle down and force out the next few chapters, but I think we all know how well that would turn out.
