Apparently, the Elements trading hooves means Rainbow Dash is supposed to sit around and wait for them to fix everything. She found the map, though, so she's going, no matter who's with her.

Idea more than story, again. Inspired by a series here I tried to read a long while back. "Rainbow Dash flies West," I believe was the terse, intriguing description. I bounced off right at the start. It just didn't manage to hook me, for whatever reason, but that description still drew me. If I were to build something off of that alone, I'd probably start it with something like this.

Note: as per RyRy, a detective of unrivalled capability, the story I'm thinking of actually has her flying East.

Jonathon's return home from Equestria went as flawless as one could have hoped for when it involved the use of magical incantations, runes, questionable sample requests, and the need to have the timing perfect. Everything worked out, and Jon was back home.

The only problem was asking if Luna wanted a bottle of water.

This story was inspired by two sources:

1). The AI generated artwork used as the cover.
2). By an old FIM favorite of mine, Exchange.

The flames of conflict in Kiria may be extinguished, but what happens after the ash has settled?

That was a question that was left for kirins like Skywell to answer. Three years after the Realm's victory in the Kirian Civil War, the young officer-turned-architect is sent on his first major project in the former rebel city of Chrysanthemum. The project is a simple one: reconstruct several smoldering city blocks that could truly represent the new embers of modernity that Kiria is taking. The project is almost prepared for groundbreaking and the bulldozers are revved up.

That is, until a petitioner arrived in Skywell's office.

If there's one thing the denizens of Equestria have always needed, it's to have somewhere to relax and knock back a few drinks. The tales that follow chronicle Haggis, a surly ex-adventurer, and her plucky human assistant, as they attempt to live their lives and please customers of all varieties.

Throughout her time at Crystal Prep, Twilight Sparkle had been ignored or scorned by her jealous and well-to-do classmates. She could only rely on her pet dog Spike for companionship.

The Friendship Games, once a way to bring the two schools together, devolved into a cutthroat competition for glory. A competition Principal Abacus Cinch sought to win, even if it meant blackmailing her top student.

Seeking to distract herself from her loneliness, Sparkle sought to study the magic of Canterlot High School. Her experiments, however, wreaked havoc on the games, and brought her the scorn of Sunset Shimmer, who saw the human Twilight as a dangerous nuisance.

In a last-ditch effort at victory, Cinch and the Shadowbolts pushed Twilight into unleashing the magical energies she had collected.

But in their attempt to abuse a force they did not understand, the Shadowbolts unwittingly caused tragedy. But through this tragedy, will the Shadowbolts and others come to understand the value of a single human being? And will Sunset overcome her grief and try to prevent another one?

Today just seemed like any other day on Sweet Apple Acre for Applejack. She tilled the fields, fed the farm animals, fixed broken pieces of the barn but then, she saw something she'll never forget.

Just on the edge of the Everfree Forest, there was a bloodied and bruised filly on the verge of death. Applejack's world would soon be changed forever after she decided to foster this young and very unique foal, who's current condition suggest a terrible background. A background that is catching up to them.

Now, this filly will have to learn to move on from her old life, make new friends and find her special talent. A difficult task made even harder by the monsters of her past, lingering in her mind like ghosts. They'll come back for her, and they'll burn everything down to achieve...

Anarchy.
