Everyone has that one friend that they've known since childhood, that one friend that they'd do anything for, that one friend that means the world to them. For me, that friend was Luxurious Locks, the mare that runs the most prominent hair-care product company in Maretropolis. We were the best of friends since childhood, and whenever one of us was down, the other would be there to help out.

But I guess some things don't last forever.

Luxi has disappeared, and she's been missing for over a month. To make matters worse, a deranged mare named the Mane-iac has been attacking the city with no clear motive.

Little did I know that she was looking for someone, too...

This is an HiE Anthro one-shot taking place in the Power Ponies universe, so the Mane 6 are not the Power Ponies. It also goes without saying that this is not related to any of my previous stories.

Twilight really hurt Moondancer's feelings by not showing up to her party. Even though she had other friends, Moondancer had planned a very special party for her very special friend, Twilight Sparkle. This party was going to be the place where she finally confessed her secret feelings to Twilight.

This is what might have happened if Twilight had made time for her friend.

What does a Princess do when she is immortal, ruler of a kingdom and utterly alone? When there is no one to call your own or friend to turn to. This is the problem facing Princess Celestia. She has no real friends except her younger sister Luna. When that isn't enough, one event will change her life forever. Come join Celestia as she finds what she is longing for in the most unlikely of places.

It started when they first met. A growing flame that began to burn in their hearts. It was unknown to them what this flame was, but it grew stronger as they got older and their feelings moved on from friendship to something else. Some fires grow slowly, but when given time they burn more passionate and brighter then any volcano.
