This Hearts and Hooves Day is shaping up to be just like last year; Twilight won't come out of the library, and Rainbow Dash can't seem to come in. Sweetie Belle decides it's about time they got together. Together with her coltfriend Spike, the two set out to push the hopeless romantics together before the day is through. Though it might take a little less prompting than they suspect.

There's only so much stress ponies can take before they need a break, and so Twilight and Rainbow take a vacation, but while they are there, Rainbow only further stresses Twilight out, much to her irritation.

Rainbow Dash has a crush.

A huge one.

On a mare with beautiful purple eyes.

On a mare with a nice, pointy horn, and a wonderful set of wings.

On a mare that can somehow rock what had to be the most boring of haircuts known to ponykind, making it look like the leading act of a fashion show.

So, with all that in mind, what was there for a big, athletic, inexperienced, and frankly, totally awesome pegasus to do?

Well, to be honest, there is only one real solution. Acquire a book, get a reservation to a fancy restaurant, some tickets to las Pegasus, bribe Starlight, hire Scootaloo with a radio as a spy, and see which things work.

Twilight has a theory about the behavior of pegasus ponies and needs a subject to study. Enter Rainbow Dash.

A short comedy/shipping fic that I've had the idea of floating around my head for a while, I probably haven't done it justice, but whatever, I've actually written something, its a miracle!

While working hard on a new festival idea from Celestia, Twilight gets a welcomed distraction from the tedious work she's been doing for days.

Toby was looking forward to a very interesting project for his English class: writing to a complete stranger somewhere in the country to learn about them. However, through some anomaly, his letters make their way to Twilight Sparkle, an alicorn princess in the land of Equestria.

Though confused over how this is possible, Toby and Twilight decide to continue writing to each other, getting to learn all about each other and developing a strong friendship through only their written words.

Inspired by the movie Her as well as a short story I read in middle-school, along with a since-deleted story called Pen Pals by user Justin Daniels.

Life is changing for Twilight Sparkle and Rainbow Dash. Nearly two years together have seen tumultuous meetings with each other's parents, Twilight's ascension, and even the growth of their new home together in the middle of town.

They've come a long way, but now, on the brink of their future together, there is one question left to answer.
