and add on the fact that the mares are treating him way differently now that hes changed gender. sexism much?
After so long this story still isn't boring. So hats off too you.
Just updated as I finished last chapter.
To quote a certain image...
Looking forward to more.
Keep up the good work. Deus tecum.
Oh man and i really wanted to read Luna's diary too.
Oh, that bed is going to be nasty.
Yet another great chapter, good job whatmustido.
Because silliness.
Going to sleep, winding down...
Maybe I'll just check my notifications...
New chapter. Every fucking time.
You're pulling hell on my circadian rhythm.
who needs sleep?
Seriously. Sleep is stupid. We got 24 hours and roughly a third of it is wasted lying immobile. There's got to be some animal that never sleeps that we can steal secrets from.

Look up Polyphasic sleeping and the uberman schedule.

How dare you read someone's diary? That's like violating their utmost privacy. You should be ashamed for even thinking of doing it. And worse, she's a madwoman. Would you really want to take the risk of reading the diary of a madwoman?
5280490 Actually yes i would read the diary of a madwoman. To find out if she is actually mad and then give the diary to the police. When matters of life and death are concerned things like privacy and personal space tend to get shoved aside in real life.I dont really care if someone gets high on torture rape porn(an example) but i would like to know so i can avoid them.Just my personal opinion.
In this case reading Luna's diary might say reveal an secret chamber where she keeps other victims(not impliying that this is the case here). If a rapist/murderer was arrested his/her belongings would be searched for evidence of further "misbehavior".
Im not saying i would read every diary that falls in my hands but in this case(Luna's)i totally would.

Illegally obtained evidence isn't permissible in (American) courts. I also don't think it can be used as justification for a warrant to find real evidence.
Why do I never notice these when they just come up!?
5280548 If for example the diary said " i killed them and buried them at x" and the police finds the bodies that would be pretty hard evidence no?Of course,i agree that the diary by itself does not constitute incriminating evidence. But it might help point to them.

I'm on to you.
On a completely random point since I didn't think much of this last time.
Is the dream machine showing you your own worst fears as a sort of test to ensure that you won't succumb to your own nightmares while in the dream world?
Ultimate creature of Doom. And whatever that shadow monster is in that room. And a rope. If he could find something solid and a bar, pity about lack of dancing pole, Nav could loop the rope round it then have Twilight drag the statue back into the room?
The bodies still attatched to te machine inside the machines dream realm make for an intresting limiter. You can run out of room because any more and the security nightmares start chewing on your ass?
Twilight is scared of Pinkie? well, Duh, Nav hasnt even gone through , in exquisite detail, just how terrifying Pinkie actually is. Then again, if he did, Twilights magical Nightmares woul probably give the Dream Machine a seriously hard time.
5281051 it is so you cant get trapped in others nightmares
Yet another amazing chapter! ... That ending was a bit unexpected though.
Yay, a new chapter!
It took me almost a month to read the whole story so far
Because I can only do it on weekends
In any case! This is one of the best stories that I've read so far and I can't wait to find out what happens next.
Keep up the good work!
5280490
I know about it. Unfortunately, I don't have time to try it out, and my schedules are a bit difficult to plan around.
I've tried sleeping in the middle of the day, though.
I haven't smoked enough ponies today, I NEED MOAR!!!
5281436 to who? a pilgrim? key words like "succulent mouth" kinda pointed to a sexy direction.
I hope they implement a feature where you can like and dislike the chapters individually, and each like or dislike in a chapter counts towards the overall like dislike ratio
What I would be thinking If I were twilight:
HAH! GET REKT SON!
(I know it's spelled wrecked, so don't complain about that crap grammar)
5280187
That sexy bit at the end.
5280490
Yet here you are publishing Nav's private journal. Shame on you.
~Have a good one.
I miss the clop. I want to see Mistress Twilight.
5282358 There is no need to worry, I do not correct comments. Unless the commenter misuses the word "literally." That is something that I cannot abide.
Now Twilight has super dream powers! Sometimes I get sad that the narration is in the first person. But it never lasts very long. Though it might be nice to see things from the perspective of other characters.
KBO.
5283350 You and me both brother/sister.
Will we get those long chapters every once in a while?
ten/ten
So at this point, do you actually know when and how the story's going to end, or are you still making things up as you go?
5286889
I have some plans, yes. Tying it all together is going to be the hard part.
Oh god... he really is turning into discord... I get the feeling the dream realm is partly his training or somthing.
5280490
you think that's clever don't you.
5287970
I have no idea what you're talking about.
So, uh... This is the second-longest single literary work ever. The first is a French novel ringing in at about 2,100,000 words.
Just to clarify, this statistic excludes vanity works, series, cycles, unpublished works, and record-breaking attempts. But yeah. So, you've only got another 269,701 words to go before you have the longest single work. Too bad this could never be published...
5289356
That depends entirely on how underhanded you can think and how quickly you can put the plan you think up into action. I've seen one occasion on which a fanfiction was published. It was printed on demand rather than by the hundreds of thousands but still. Gotta love those legal loopholes.
5280490
... I can't decide whether you deserve to be slapped on the back or the cheek for that one.
5289356
If you included unpublished works then The Story of the Vivian Girls, in What is Known as the Realms of the Unreal, of the Glandeco-Angelinian War Storm Caused by the Child Slave Rebellion would be the longest. 15k pages, estimated to be over 9 million words long iirc. Other than that I think The Subspace Emissary's Worlds Conquest actually takes the cake at 3.9 million words long and counting.
http://tvtropes.org/pmwiki/pmwiki.php/Main/DoorStopper
Pulling from that, if by "literary work" you include non fiction there are others pulled from the tv tropes page.
"Title 26 of the US Code of Federal Regulations (also known as the Tax Code) weighs in at 13,458 pages, in 20 volumes. You can buy a copy from the US government printing office for about a grand. "
"A lawyer decided to make a compilation of ALL Brazil's tributary laws. The result is a monster of 43,215 pages of 2.2m x 1.4m and the compilation weighs 6.2 tons. "
"Part of the reason the United Kingdom does not have a codified constitution is because the laws that comprise its constitution are so varied and go so far back - an attempt in The Nineties to write them all down (just the titles, mind you) identified nearly 500 statutes, acts, regulations, cases, treaties, and conventions going back over one thousand years. If they had all been written down, the resulting book would have been nearly nine million words long. And that was then - now, due to a frantic two decades of reform and the introduction of more EU treaties, the Human Rights Act 1998, and devolution, the thing would be a substantial amount higher. "
5280490 Is this the start of an amazing side-story that I smell?
I have a question. What's the drawback on the crossbow? If I remember correctly, Nav was supposed to be weak in early chapters. I've pulled crossbows back before, and it gets really difficult around the 7th time. Just a thought. Another one, though. Nav is eye level with Celestia, right? So how do they do the sexy times? Does celery bend down a bit, or does Nav do that thing little dogs do when trying to mate with big dogs? Just a wonderin
5290681 I am very pleased with this information.
5290769
>what are beds
As for the crossbow, I think I explained that he made a crank for it or something to make pulling it back easier. If not, the pull probably isn't that good, at least on the first one that Twilight had made. The metal one definitely had a cockback mechanism.
5290769 PFFFFTTT
I can just imagine Nav hunched over, legs dangling, trying to find purchase. Fucking priceless visual.
10/10
5291113 I saw it too.
5291111 still gotta be weird with the beds. All that does is elevate your position. If you mean it like Nav gets up there while celery stick stays on the floor, it makes sense.
