Dang it! I'm this early, but I don't have time to read it right now ;-;
8432138
Fuck whatever you're doing. Lewd pony fanfics are more important.
8432140
I agree, but sadly the world (mostly my stomach and the clock) is whining at me to get off the computer.
Just make sure there are still some typos for me when I get back please :P
8432151
Okay, but only since you asked so nicely.
I'm still just waiting for him to choose the Earth elemental as a permanent one when he frees him/her
Ah thanks for another one
Why do you torture me so much with this?! I'm crying at having to wait once more for the next chapter. ;_;
8432314
Because your tears sustain me.
8432335
How do they taste?
Daaaaaaaamn, Celestia has done a lot of evil shit in her days, but this treaty? That is just a powder keg just waiting to go boom, but to hear it from the dragons themselves about the treaty and how it came into being? Seems like Celestia didn't really think this one through when she made it. Great chapter by the way!
I don't know if this is right or not, but I'm almost 100% certain that the fire elemental is in Pyrites volcano. I mean, does no one remember that from an outward perspective a host can look like their talking to themselves, I know Nav was asked on several occasions who he was talking to when Flo was in his head. Then there is the location, one of the biggest volcanoes on the island. Not to mention the timing, I know that Discord can make people go crazy, but most seem to go fully psychotic, not just withdrawn with voices in their heads. All in all it would also make sense that Pyrite would live in that volcano, the very volcano that the elemental is in, the very same volcano that would give Pyrite his closest access to his elemental.
But that's just a theory, A FIM THEORY!
8432335 ;_; <3 More Nav! More Nav!
Screaming at the window Watch me die another day Hopeless situation Endless price I have to pay.
8432420
It also might be the only thing keeping him from going fully insane.
Which is saying a lot, considering its a fire elemental.
Choose fire, Nav. At least it was your own decision.
The whole situation with Luna and Midnight reminds me of a particular Bible story, one where David luster after the wife of one of his loyal soldiers.
That resulted in said soldier being sent to his death, rather than undeath.
God certainly punished David harshly for that, but he still managed to end his life as a Man of God ACCORDING to God. So yeah, Luna's not too far gone yet, especially since she's so repentant of her actions.
Though I wouldn't discount the possibility of her place being outside Equestria yet... Not because of her past, but because her nature in this AU may very well make her more suited for such a thing. Such discussion can't be objective in her current state of mind though.
8432140
Too bad this story isn't as lewd anymore. So sad, seeing that part of the story fall off and die, like Nav's confidence and badassness.
Old Nav would have punished Bahamut, and when Bahamut send his army after him, the old Nav would have slaughtered them all and won. Such good times, when Nav was a badass.
For some reason, I read it as Fuck
8432471
It's very possible, and it would even make some sense as to why he's still very eccentric. Even a fire elemental can only do so much to stave off the level of insanity that Discord could cause, but at his full power, he could at least be able to keep Pyrite passably sane.
8432542
I personally miss that Nav as well, there was just something about the way he acted, about the way he left his enemies pissing themselves in fear that made him so awesome. I mean, he/she still strikes fear into the hearts of those who oppose her, like when she was guarding the fake cell with midnight, and the diamond dog mercenary left as soon as he realized who he messing with, he just knew that he was going to get killed if he stayed, and he would have been proven very right. Hell, I'll still except her the way she is now if that's what she wants, but if it really was Flo who forcefully changed Nav, I will find a way to go through my screen, into this story, and learn how to strangle a water elemental for making us lose that lovable sociopath.
8432352
Salty, duh.
8432542
How exactly do you expect Nav to punish a dragon that's fucktuple his size, then beat an army of thousands of dragons ranging from Spike-sized to Bahamut-sized? He's pulled off several difficult things, but there's difficult and then there's just straight suicidal. Bahamut could crush Nav like a bug, even as a dragon.
Also, Nav actually cares about dying now. He has to take care of Taya.
8432335
Spoiler Alert for both whatmustido's Diaries of a Madman and CW's The Flash:
Discord is Savitar. Think about it.
Its a pity Nav is a golem and a short time match for dragon size. It wouldve been hilarious if the dragon spell had locked onto his actual human age and he ended up the full 7 headed Mother of All Dragons Tiamat.
Bahamut gets a spanking for being a very naughty boy.
Am I alone in getting the feeling that Pyrite dint survive, the reason Dragon King is goiong mad is because he was always mad, his mind in discord?
I can honestly say this is one of my favorite chapters so far. Also, Brook was easily one of my favorite characters after she stopped being a cunt, but now she's definitely number one.
Tfw you know water waifu isn't even a possibility. I cri evertim.
8432580
Use the key to unlock Bahamut's mind, enter it and mess with it hardcore.
And yes, I did not forget that the key can do that. It can unlock any door, even the door to other minds, or dimensions.
why do i feel like the next chapter is going to be over a month away now :|
Nav isn't very quick on the uptake, is she? It seems rather obvious that Char is imprisoned, or WAS imprisoned in Pyrite's volcano, and Pyrite is his current host ever since he got knocked in there. And somehow I doubt Celestia's going to be forthcoming with the eggs...and it won't surprise me to learn if there might be a very good reason for the 'hostages.'
Someone finally said it.
Brook is MVP of this chapter.
And Aqua continues to be the biggest hypocrite of the water elementals. Also a bitch.
Hmm, first Nav, then Chrysalis, and now potentially Celestia. The waters are beginning to gather a very interesting collection of hosts. I'm starting to suspect that Flo may be the only one that isn't evil.
The dragon smut. Where is it?
8432364
She thought it well through....
They can't go to war with her when she can threaten the lives of their unborn.
When they're all returned, however....
Alright, so Pyrite is a Fire Elemental host. Or perhaps he truly was broken all those years ago and merely works within his shattered mind to piece what happened together again.... What fun.
8432594
I think bahamuts gonna be really surprised if he tries to take out pyrite it's strongly hinted at this chapter .... talking to self .... sending dragons to tarturus .... going to the conference and offering the only human alive a position in dragon society which has never been offered to anyone before .... living in the largest volcano in iceland... it'll be funny to see him stab pyrite and have the wound close in front of him. Bahamuts a fkn cult leader he preaches all that stuff about dragon pride but he'll probably be the first to run with his tail between his legs if things go south.
8432548
I bet that's just what you wanted it to say.
8432833
I asked in the gdoc if people wanted me to write it. Everyone said no, so I didn't.
8432820
How was she hypocritical? They don't like water elementals who abuse their hosts, but abusing someone else is different. You can block a slap to your face. You can't block a slap to your brain.
8432696
That's not quite the route I'm gonna take, but it'll still probably be fairly satisfying.
8433070
-There's that, plus she's one of the ones that claims that waters want to help and keep the peace but she really doesn't sell it.
-She gets on Flo for abusing Nav, then goes and abuses him herself (And I have to question whether a being made of water can really be blocked, Flo pretty much just swept away Chrysalis' personal guard to see Nav when she was first freed)
-She claims that not all waters are like Flo, but she definitely doesn't treat Nav any better and what few interactions we've seen between her and Twilight don't really paint her in a great light (Refusing to heal her, taking control of her body without permission, etc.)
I dunno, she just hasn't come across as at all pleasant. I kinda thought that's what you were going for with her.
8433088
She isn't pleasant, that's for sure.
The reason she was mad at Nav is because he just told her he kinda helped catalyze the end of pony civilization. That's the exact opposite of keeping the peace. She was pissed because he might have started a war.
Nav's a dragon at the moment. He could have blocked Aqua's slaps or at least fought back. She wouldn't lay a hand on him if he was a human and she would never lay a hand on him if he was her host.
Aqua is a very authoritarian water elemental. She refused to heal Twilight because Twilight chose to do what she did knowing there would be consequences. She never had any problem with taking over someone's body without permission if all she planned to do was talk and they were already talking anyway. She would never take over a host's body to do something dangerous or something that the host didn't want.
Aqua's a bitch. I wrote her like that on purpose. But I don't consider her a hypocrite. That doesn't mean she isn't, but I don't feel like she is and I didn't mean to make her come across that way.
8433131
To be fair, this one is not Nav's fault at all, but I can see why she would have reacted that way the first time at least.
I don't know about Nav being able to fight back as a dragon though. Obviously fire breath is an option, but that's likely to kill her, and obviously (s)he can't do that.
Maybe hypocritical is a bit too strong of a word, but she's definitely dancing around some lines there. I'm surprised she and Twilight still get along so well.
"Tractor sand blue burn."
Anonymous 2.0 "Navarone" shutting down...
Celestia really is a sugar coated poison princess. Manipulating her sister into becoming a monster just so she could sit on her very large posterior and soak up the accolades. And her temper! Props to Nav for shoving Celestia's nose into her own stinking pile.
I wish I could travel the multiverse. With infinite universes, I could help Navarone. It would be awesome.
This chapter is longer than most stories I've reciently read and it's still too short.
About damn time we finally learn about what has been going on with Luna.
Bacon.
8433482
Nav's real age is about 7 years.
Kids these days...
8432420
Agreed, but there are just two things that I want to bring up. Pyrite sent young warriors into Tartarus for some "unkown reason". Perhaps that was to pick up another known fire elemental. So basically Pyrite was/is creating his own team of elementals.
However, can't elementals sense other elementals at close proximity when theyre in another host? If so, when Navarone met Pyrite wouldn't he have known he had an elemental in him. All I remember is that elementals have a more difficult time sensing other elementals, but not impossible
Something fun to see for the SoL side of this story:
Nav fighting celestia with Blaze inside of him.
Celestia telling a story of the first dragon she hatched after the treaty (if it wasn't spike).
Moonbeam coming back. (Been a while since we seen her)
"A level up" (been a while since Nav got a power boost. That demon wing sure looks interesting)
Nav going back in time again? (By accident and in another time period, like after the humans die, but before the world is similar to now)
A visit to the Naga cave.
Another world tourny. But has members from his crew on his team.
CAN I PLEASE HAVE A MAKEOVER MONTAGE OF NAV GETTING READY FOR THR MISS UNIVERSE!!
Wow what a chapter of bomb shells!
There's no way Reggie could have been blackmailed into selling out his race because of his closeness to Luna, even if it did ever become 'inappropriate'.
Something fishy is going on here.
I'm wondering if fooling around with the two purifiers is going to have any unseen consequences.
Life as a female purifier sounds awful.
Super exited for this ark! It's been shaping up to be super interesting for the longest time!
Looking forward to hear Flo's point of view in all of this, also the fallout when it becomes public that Nav has a fire elemental is going to be fun to read about!
Aaaaah I love this story
It's an okay chapter. It feels like it's mostly supposed to be giving a goo.gl/9jTNEs at the next chapter though. So I suppose how good this one is will depend mainly on that one.
8433070
I better use GDoc more. Apparently I have some crazy as fuck goody-goody folks to balance out with my crazy as fuck evil.
I was almost afraid there weren't any things to point out for a minute. Then you went and gave me the funniest one yet.
Not directly an error, but unless Jesus is a new character that suddenly appeared without an introduction(maybe he doesn't need one?) this might be fairly easy to misread haha
this one isn't directly an error either, but honestly I needed something to point out :P
They've moved around a lot would typically imply they have moved themselves. "They're moved around a lot" or "they've been moved around a lot" would fit better.
8433485
My favorite part of that is all the comments specifically on this chapter that say "I miss when he was an apathetic douche that was willing to shove someone's shit in their face if they were refusing to believe it stunk."
Dayum. This chapter was full of surprises.
8433607
You have a point when it comes to sensing elemental's, but you also have to keep in mind that Flo was thousands of years out of practice, and wasn't actively trying to sense him. Plus you also have to keep in mind that it took the combined might of several elemental's to find a fire elemental at his strongest. I'll still hold strong the theory that Pyrite is the host until I'm either told I'm wrong, or until the next chapter proves me wrong.
