Rainbow Dash has had eyes for Twilight Sparkle ever since she came to town, and it was no secret to her other friends. Finally working up the courage, she asks her out on a date. But does Twilight realize it's supposed to be a 'date-date'?

Twilight Sparkle learned how to be a unicorn at Celestia's knee, and few know more about her than magic. She learned how to be a pony from her five PFFs, and they count her as one of their most treasured friends. Now, Celestia wants her to learn the science of living deliberately, which will take all of the skills and resources she's accumulated so far.

A note on tags: FIMFiction considers 'Adventure' and 'Slice of Life' to be opposed tags, but I wish I could have both. A mighty river is fed by many streams. (Maybe I should just alternate each week.)

Twilight Sparkle finds herself in a strange town as the Summer Sun Celebration approaches and as she works to uncover information on a being of nightmare, she finds the quiet town of Ponyville has more secrets than anypony ever suspected.

This day, one of the most magical of days, is about family and love and togetherness and remembering the bonds of friendship.

It is also about demanding presents, showing up your family, freaking out over the tiniest detail and fighting the rush of a thousand other ponies that seem to want to do nothing more than ruin the holiday for everyone else.

This year, Twilight is getting to host her family's Hearth's Warming Day Dinner and she wants everything to be perfect. But as she sees what the holiday does to her friends and those around her, Twilight begins to lose the spirit of the season and wonders just what good is a holiday that seems to turn everypony into jealous, greedy monsters.

Join Twilight in this look at what modern life has done to the holiday season and how easy it is to reclaim the magic back.

This story is set in the Scootaverse (Which includes The Many Secret Origins of Scootaloo and The God Squad). Neither of these stories are required reading but it will help.

A decade after Princess Celestia dies and names Twilight Sparkle her successor, Equestria splits along racial and partisan lines. Equestria's cities have declared independence and are at war.

The conflict engulfs Ponyville. Teenage Pound and Pumpkin Cake team up, using their talents of flight and magic to protect their loved ones. But the twins later join polar opposite factions of the war, and now their rivalry risks plunging all of Equestria into ruin...

The story complies with season 1-3 canon, but differs from the comics and season 4 onward.

In times past, ponies would keep their fillies from being bad by telling them that if they didn't behave, Nightmare Moon would come back and get them. Of course, Nightmare Moon hasn't been back since the Elements of Harmony defeated her in Celestia's presence.

Twilight has had dreams of Nightmare Moon's return since her defeat, but she never thought they would actually come true. Then one day, she receives a rather odd visitor... And the chain of events to follow threatens to tear asunder everything that she holds dear.

Samhainophobia (pronounced Sow-wen-ophobia): A persistent, abnormal, and often very intense fear of the holiday Halloween (Nightmare Night).

Fluttershy has not been herself lately; she has been suffering from panic attacks, anxiety, lack of sleep, and has been locking herself tight in her cottage. The reason? Nightmare Night has come once again. This year when her friends take notice of her growing paranoia, they decide to try and help her overcome her unusual fear. However, when Princess Luna has a frightening agenda to scare everypony in ponyville, will the night be an unpleasant trick, or a surprisingly delightful treat? Only one thing is for certain: this will be a Nightmare Night that Fluttershy will remember for a very... long... time!

The Sequel to 'Faith and Doubt'.

It's been two months since the changeling attack and Shining's almost-wedding and much has changed. Twilight Sparkle is now an alicorn and has left Equestria to master her new powers. The sixth element of harmony, the corrupt abstract Doubt, has been reborn in his original form: Faith. He, along with Spike, have gone with Twilight as she sought to heal after the betrayal by her friends and family.

But Twilight's return to Ponyville will not be a happy one; in her absence her friends Applejack, Fluttershy, Rarity, Rainbow Dash and Pinkie Pie have been turned into alicorns themselves and the embodiments of their elements. They have seized power and now rule Equestria with iron hooves, using banned magic to turn their friends and family into zealots that obey their every command.

To save Equestria, Twilight will have to do the unthinkable: form a rebellion and declare war on her friends. But will she be willing to make the tough decisions... even if it means choosing between friendship and freedom?

Everything is bad in large doses.

It's high summer and Twilight has been feeling overworked. To relax, she reads some poetry under her favourite tree, but it's terribly difficult to unwind when Fluttershy runs past dressed as a rabbit. A White Rabbit.
What is going on? Why is everything so... weird? Is she in a dream? Or are more sinister forces in motion?

Based upon the delightful novels Alice's Adventures in Wonderland and Through the Looking Glass, by Lewis Carroll.

After being crowned Twilight finds out that she has become a unwilling player in the millenia old powerstruggle of the noble houses. Learning in a quite blunt way that she has to take on a consort. Simply because of a law that states that there must be a royal consort atleast once every 300 years. And not only that, but also that the only nobles themselves can select those of which she can choose them from.
With a ruse she seemed to get a decent choice. However, how will life turn out for the bookish scholar when it turned out that her new bride has been the comfort mare of a spoiled brat ever since getting her cutiemark? And almost equally important. How will the noble react to a 5P:
a pretty pissed purple pony princess?
