Trees shorter than they should be, buildings smaller than preferred, a world filled with creatures bigger than him, yet others are near microscopic from his perspective.

Trying to find out where he should fit in is hard, because he is not too small, but most definitely bigger than most. Once he connects to the dominant civilization, a whole new world of opportunities is revealed before him.

He will walk as a giant. He will walk with giants. He will walk alone.

I still can't believe it all started with a family camping trip gone wrong. One moment I was enjoying my time with my parents and brothers, then next thing I knew I was stranded on a world full of magic and mythological creatures. In one day, I went from worrying about the upcoming calculus test to worrying about my next meal. I remember how the only thing keeping me going was the hope that I might find a way home. Little did I know that some deities had other plans in store for me.

I remember all the promises I made, both those kept and betrayed. I remember the friends I made on my little adventure; the same friends I threw away when everything came crashing down. Oh, the memories I made... Oh, the memories I am now forever cursed to remember.

I suppose this is a just punishment. My only regret is that my friends may never hear my side of the story.

City life has become difficult for anypony who is not a unicorn, and for the earth pony Gear Grinder, working day-to-day has become a routine that is enough to keep him in enough money to live the way he wants and spend time with his online friends.
After being sent down the the sprawling metropolis of Ponyville with his co-worker Amperage, Gear gets invited by his new friend to come hang out at his place.
Upon arriving, he finds out that a unicorn mare they bumped into down below in Ponyville has become Amperage's new flame, and Amperage is acting strange. What Gear knew about him from work and their brief time as friends is called into question, and he makes it his goal to investigate, and as he does, things continue to get stranger and stranger.

After the events of Viva Las Pegasus, Flim and Flam took over management of the Ponet Fatastique. Not wishing to repeat the mistake Gladmane made, they decide to give the current acts time to tour during the off season. Their replacements turn out to be less than ideal.
Their new animal handler, Show Stealer, is a foreigner who has been performing his act for years. During a dress rehearsal, however, he loses his temper on one of his most exotic creatures, one he bought from griffins. He ends up imprisoned, while Flim and Flam decide to see if Fluttershy will help them once again.
Fluttershy is in for a surprise, however, when the creature begins to speak. Soon, Fluttershy takes him in, hoping she can help him in his efforts to integrate into pony society.
How will the rest of Ponyville handle a frightened child, unused to civilization?
The brewing tensions with Griffonia certainly aren't helping the situation, either.
