Or so they thought.

Following the recent incident, Nightmare Moon strikes again, intent on revenge. Putting her grand scheme into motion.

In order to make sense of this story, I highly recommend reading 'All things evil' prior to reading this. The reason being one of the characters (Lunar Eclipse). It gives a basic understanding of the character and the story is also a prequel to this.

It started as a normal Equestrian morning, but doesn't it always? The princesses are frightened, and in Ponyville, a creature from a forgotten race walks into town. His kind hasn't been seen in over a thousand years, but even then he's still far from what he appears to be.

Arc 1: The First Day

Author's Note: Hey guys! This is my first story, so constructive criticism is more than welcome. I'll take this moment to say that I own nothing but my main character, the plot, and a few surprises which will appear later. All other characters and linked music are NOT mine. A word on music. At times I might offer two links to a song. The first is the OFFICIAL version, the second is the closest approximation to how I feel it is sung in the story. Just warning you, because I know some people hate covers. This story is rated teen for occasional language, implied sex, and gruesome imagery (mostly late in the story and in flashbacks). Jack is different. Not from just his age group, but from others as well. Cold, calculating, and tactical are but a few of the words used to describe him.

When a being finds him self in love with a Princess he is unsure of what do to. He trys to fight his true nature as she pulls at the frozen strings in his heart. It wont be long until one of them ends up regretting their actions. Boiling it down we are all just animals, some a more violent breed.

All of Equestia is gone and every mortal being is dead. All but a lone human. Can this human get over his hate for Celestia in order to give her the time need to restore the wolrd? As she rewrites history, reweaves the threads of time, she was able to save the mane six but only as new borns. It is up to this human to raise them as if they were his children so that one day they can be placed back to their rightfull place in time. If one man can surive the end end of the world he can take care of six fillies, right? Only time will tell and at the moment it's gone.

On a midnight train, one mare travels to Canterlot. She goes to see Princess Luna, presiding in her Night Court. With her, she carries determination and a book. The book has been passed from parent to foal, from generation to generation for a time longer than most ponies can even imagine.

She travels to Canterlot to give the book to Luna.

And neither pony will be the same after.

With this story I'm not looking for likes (they are good though). this is a story written for my best friend for years. it's him and me going to Equestria. with cross overs and references (some clear as day, others not) this story is random to the core and just meant for a good laugh for my friend (or you). so enjoy my virgin friend with two chins, this one is all for you.

What happens when two best friends wake up in the land of their dreams? Rock bands, forced marriage, pictures of your friends involved in digrating acts, and a war. Meason and Travis, two bronies, find them selves in Equestria after a car accident and are off in a wacky and total random adventure. But can they survive the up coming war with Saddle Arabia, can Meason every trust cake again, and will Travis lose his virginity? Only one, yes, and most likely not.

Two best friends, Anon and Mous land in Equestria after they are swallowed up along with their apartment. The two try to live their lives in relative peace as they learn to make friends and family with the colorful equines, in spite of all the obstacles fate throws their way. Along the way they strive to keep to the universal law they hold so true: Friendship is Magic, but Bro-ness is 5ever.

Twilight gets a feeder to study birds.

She also bought a ton of seeds for it.

While she's frustrated at the fact her supply seems to be disappearing into thin air, she's about to realize that she has a much bigger problem on hoof.

After being defeated by Nightmare Moon, Twilight is transformed into a puppet of darkness called Lunar Eclipse. But when she starts to have flashbacks of a certain baby dragon, she realizes that there may still be hope for Equestria.

Will Lunar Eclipse be able to see the error of her ways in time?

The sequel to this story 'For Want of Eternal Nightmare' is out and can be accessed quickly via the link. Its a lot longer compared to this and has higher quality writing. It's worth the read, trust me.
