A surprise attack and hasty warp lands a guardian and his ghost on a strange planet inhabited by beings long believed to be creatures of myth. Interestingly enough they have more in common then anyone would believe and with the ever encroaching darkness it is good to find friends to face it with.

Still reeling from their defeat at the Battle of the Bands, Adagio Dazzle, Sonata Dusk, and Aria Blaze are recruited by Abacus Cinch as her own magical ringers to use against Canterlot High in exchange for a chance to reclaim their lost magic.

But life at Crystal Prep isn't all sunshine and rainbows for the three newest Shadowbolts. Faced with looming deadlines, hostile classmates, and a crumbling partnership with her fellow Sirens, Adagio finds solace with a most unexpected ally.

But when Equestrian magic is on the line, will she follow her heart? Or will her she learn that old habits die hard?

Sirens don't make friends, after all, and they certainly don't fall in love.

Immortality. It's said to be the ultimate achievement. The negation of the one true hinderance to all forms of life, the binding and unifying factor that every mortal being shares. Those who are without it, wish for it. Yet those who have it... They wish it gone. For while eternal life stands as a tribute to an infinite amount of triumphs, it harbours one simple truth. Immortality isn't living forever, it's everyone you love vanishing around you.

For some this is of little concern, for they are without the bonds of friendship and affection. Why worry about the longevity of loved ones that don't exist? Others fight to keep those they care about alive, betraying all reason in the name of a struggle against the cosmic rule of entropy. Many simply retreat from sight, becoming recluse, hidden and forgotten. Yet the last archetype, they do nothing of the sort, for they have not yet exceeded their mortal lives. They are determined, free from the strife of a million year existence. These beings turn desperation into action, travesty into opportunity. Darkness, into light.

When all seems lost, all it takes is one final effort, a stand against impossible odds. And that's what guardians are best at, isn't it?

If large scale crossovers aren't really your thing then I'd advised you to read no further into this story. This is a Destiny/Halo/Mlp crossover, the lore of each universe will be changed to fit the flow of the story. Some changes may be small but many are rather large. Prior knowledge of each universe is very much recommended, although I will try my best to write it in a way that is enjoyable for everyone. As it stands this is also my first fan-fiction, so constructive criticism is not only welcome but encouraged. Any ideas regarding changes or upcoming chapters are also welcome. Thanks.

Another note, this interpretation of the Destiny universe will not take into account any of the events following on from the original game. If this causes anyone to lose interest I fully understand. Just thought I'd let you know what you're getting into.

Final note from 5 years after the original publishing of this story, I recently put this back up after a period of 2 years unpublished because I recieved requests from people wanting to read it again. I don't plan to continue this version of this story, however if in the future I find myself with more free time, I may make an attempt at rewriting it, bringing it into the modern era if you will. Until that potential day, I hope you enjoy this wild trip back to 2016.

Throughout her time at Crystal Prep, Twilight Sparkle had been ignored or scorned by her jealous and well-to-do classmates. She could only rely on her pet dog Spike for companionship.

The Friendship Games, once a way to bring the two schools together, devolved into a cutthroat competition for glory. A competition Principal Abacus Cinch sought to win, even if it meant blackmailing her top student.

Seeking to distract herself from her loneliness, Sparkle sought to study the magic of Canterlot High School. Her experiments, however, wreaked havoc on the games, and brought her the scorn of Sunset Shimmer, who saw the human Twilight as a dangerous nuisance.

In a last-ditch effort at victory, Cinch and the Shadowbolts pushed Twilight into unleashing the magical energies she had collected.

But in their attempt to abuse a force they did not understand, the Shadowbolts unwittingly caused tragedy. But through this tragedy, will the Shadowbolts and others come to understand the value of a single human being? And will Sunset overcome her grief and try to prevent another one?

Accepting the chance to study at the prestigious Hogwarts School of Witchcraft and Wizardry, Sunset will find herself in the middle of a war between good and evil; will a unicorn that hasn't been touched by harmony be capable of fighting the addictive power of dark magic or will she become a pillar for Harry and his friends?

What is known is that Hogwarts and the english wizard world are not prepared for the craziness and shenanigans of Sunset Shimmer.

We can't contact Nod anymore so we can't ask them for assistance against the alien menace. *Sigh* Most of the planet is covered in the green crystal now, and more variants of the crystal are starting to form which is quickly being harvested by the Scrin for some unknown reason. Someone in high command wants to use the Nuclear warheads we have stored so that we can devastate the Scrin and the Tiberium fields around the world, we aren't going to make it not at this rate at least. We need to find another way to beat the alien invaders without sending the planet into nuclear winter." *Alarm* "All GDI personnel report to the airfield immediately." *Sigh* "Sound like another mission for me. Broken and beaten after the failed Canterlot invasion, Chrysalis desperately searches for a way to save her hive. The answer comes to her in the form of an ancient spell that allows travel to other worlds. Starving, feeling left with little choice in a world that despises and fears them, Queen Chrysalis and her Changelings pack their metaphorical saddlebags and ship off into the unknown.

The world they discover is unlike any other. Strange and powerful creatures inhabit the land; not only that, but they also find themselves imbued with new powers. Even better—love is abundant and easy to obtain: all they have to do is fight for their lives in arena-style tournaments, enter beauty pageants, musicals, and other demeaning activities.

As Chrysalis and her ’lings adapt to this new world, they must also be careful. This new paradise comes with its fair share of dangers: other monsters competing for affection, unkind masters, and even an organisation that would seek to enslave and experiment on them.
