Crystal, a changeling that's rather unique in appearance, is discovered in a mine shaft very close to the Crystal City. After making a rather unorthodox and upsetting introduction, she begins her tale of how she arrived...

Set in Sylvian's and Witching Hours Roan era, which is a part of the Expanded Wonderverse. The story itself takes place during that time, while the introduction and small scenes take place in the current day, a few years after Calm Winds Piercing the Heavens.

Talon, a Changeling from a hive in a drake empire, gets thrust from home when his hive collapses due to unknown forces and through some discordian intervention, gets thrust in a war of 'bolts.

It starts during the griffon drake war in his time line, 20 or so years before Piercing the Heavens, but the majority of it takes place during Piercing the Heavens.

Aaron thought he was going to have a boring Saturday night. However, due to a universal mishap, the single man's lonely life will forever change when a small, magical filly enters his life. With these new, unexpected changes, challenges and complications are certain to rise for Aaron and Luna as they must go to battle with the hardships of the world they live around.

Not at all a thing I'd usually write.

Spike led Thorax into the throne room of the Crystal Castle confident he could convince the others that the changeling could be trusted. That he meant no harm, and instead wanted to be an ally and live peacefully with them. That he could make them see Thorax for what he really was. That they could befriend the changeling and accept him as one of their own.

They didn't.

And consequences followed.

There are many changeling hives spread throughout a large portion of the world. Wherever love energy is going to be found the changelings will pursue it.

But now, one by one, they are disappearing.

Many hives located at the very outer edges of changeling inhabited lands are vanishing without a trace, Twilight Sparkle's family history has returned to haunt them all as something is hunting the changelings down. But how? And for what purpose? And more importantly, what does this mean for Queen Twilight Sparkle and the rest of the changeling race?

Long ago, the founders of Equestria built a magical portal on sacred ground, hiding their greatest secret on the other side. Generations of leaders stepped through the portal so that they might emerge as the equal of their forebears.

Celestia and Luna were the last to enter. For a thousand years, the portal lay forgotten, its purpose lost.
