As circumstances begin piling up, Shining Armor finds himself in the middle of a plot that can only be solved by a few very talented secondary characters.

Everyone wears a mask. For the rulers of Equestria, that mask must be impeccable for their subjects. Only around their guards can the two Princesses relax ever so slightly, occasionally showing that they are just as fallible as any other creature. For one Princess, the burdens of her own mind begin to make the mask crack. However, when Private Steel Heart notices that it is, in fact, the pony underneath the mask that is beginning to splinter, he offers to help.

He had no idea such help would first involve getting attacked with a large brush.

There's usually two ways for a typical villain to go down: it’s either they’re defeated and slowly reformed or be defeated for good. Princess Twilight prefers the former and started a program whose goal is to reform Equestria's most irredeemable villains, one good deed at a time.

With Queen Chrysalis as its first subject, everything should be bound to go smoothly...right?

My entry for The My Little Pony Renaissance Contest

Tempest Shadow was saved twice by Twilight Sparkle. First from The Storm King, then from punishment for what she had done under his command. It would stand to reason that she feels eternally grateful towards the princess of friendship and promises to do all she can to repay the kindness she has shown her.
But now Tempest, or is it Fizzle Pop, feels like she cannot fulfill that duty to Twilight, at least not while Twilight herself is around her.

I honestly put off watching the movie for so long because I didn't know how I would feel about it. It was better then I thought it would be, but I was most interested in the new character it added to the series. The prevalence of Tempest fics lately has led me to finally decide to do my own. I'm really interested in diving into a not as well defined character for once, so let me know what you think of my interpretation of her. Comments are always welcome, good or bad.

What does it mean to be The Great and Powerful Trixie?

It means constant attention to detail. It means meeting every and exceeding every expectation even when other ponies wouldn't be held to the same standard. It means always being great, always being powerful. It means never being forgotten or ignored. It means making ponies remember your name.

The show must always go on. Not for the audience. For her. Because to her, it's not a show. It's proof that she is Trixie.
