Set after Season 4, and everyone is aged up for the sake of the story.

Its been nearly a year since Spike decided to travel Equestria for himself on a road of self discovery. During his travels he comes across a dying changling begging for his help, Spike is led to a dying Queen Chrysalis. Spike chooses to help Chrysalis however he can, but what he doesn't know is that he has just began a journey to love and discovery.

As the Fall Equinox approaches, Starlight Glimmer has received an invitation to her former village's Fall Equinox celebration.Seeing Starlight's nervousness about how things could go, Twilight suggests that Starlight takes a friend.
Electing to go with Trixie, Starlight ends up leaving early out of fear of becoming the tyrant she was before.
However, upon Starlight's return to Magiville, something seems off about Twilight and the others.
In the dark of the night Starlight uncovers that her suspicions were well founded, Queen Chrysalis has returned and has taken the diarchs, Twilight, and her friends. And with a report from Thorax, even Cadance, Shining Armor, and the baby Flurry Heart.
Just when all hopes seem lost, Discord takes a moment to remind everyone that the demigods aren't the only powerful beings in Mystica.

Now with Trixie, Thorax, and Discord, Starlight must brave the realm of the Changelings, The Caer Sith.
Can Starlight and the others save Twilight, Celestia, Luna, Cadance, Flurry, Spike, Fluttershy, Rainbow Dash, Applejack, Rarity and Pinkie Pie?
Can they stop Chrysalis' attempt of revenge?
Or will the Queen of the Changelings succeed in draining all the love out of Mystica for her and the hive?

Spike and Rarity go to Canterlot on a long weekend vacation both with plans, but things don't always go as planned. Spike and Rarity are in for a ride. Feelings will be tested and a new ship that I should have never attempted may come to light.

This is a different time. Equestria blooms with riches from beyond the seas that used to be its borders. Nightmare Moon's disruption of the Summer Sun Celebration is an event that never took place, and the Elements of Harmony are only a Hearth's Warming chant. Discord itself is more of a spirit of bad luck than a conqueror, sometimes thwarting weather forecasts and other times turning fields into candy corn.

But Equestria also used to be free. Many took to the sea hoping to recover some of that lost freedom and, for a time, it was good. Pinkie Pie's Sugarcube was the most reliable sugar cane trading ship of the Thirteen Seas. Thanks to her, Sweet Apple Acres always had what was needed for jam, the Cake's bakery of Ponyville Docks was a booming business, and even her own ship's kitchen had the freshest muffins on land or sea.

Until the sugar embargo.

With increasing frequency, Her Majesty's navy has been keeping an ever closer watch on the trades routes.

They should have watched even closer.

This story is a sequel to Metroid Equis

With the culmination of events on the BSL Research Station, Samus Aran is finally able to come back to Equestria, Planet Equis; to come back home. Much has changed in her absence, but it is still the friendly, peaceful, welcoming planet and nation that she left behind two and a half years prior. With the Space Pirate threat neutralized and the secret, illegal Metroid militarization programs destroyed, it appears that Samus can finally take another massive breather with her friends and enjoy some well-deserved rest, recovery, and relaxation. The galaxy is finally at peace.

At least... for a short while.

A new enemy, one much closer to home, soon rears its head, threatening all of Equestria and Equis with complete and utter annihilation. Their mission: revenge. Samus will fight with all of her being alongside her allies against an enemy who would like nothing more than to see all that she holds dear, including her home planet, completely razed. In so doing, her cunning, ever determined enemies unleash a weapon so unexpected, so eerily familiar yet horrifically foreign that even Samus herself just might prefer the late Ridley or the SA-X...
