Found the show in late 2015, and fell in love with it. I also like D&D (3 and 3.5), Fansty novel and movie, Sci-Fi movies. MarbleMac is Best Ship and Flashlight is a fair second

This story is a sequel to My Little Mages: The Mirror of Shadow Bolt

In the months following the whole debacle with the mirror that Juniper was given, things have settled down and Sunset couldn't ask for anything better. However, she wakes up one morning and no one remembers that she's not the horrible person she was when she tried to steal Princess Twilight's crown.

Seeking answers she has to make a deal with someone she never expected, The Great and Powerful Trixie.

Can they solve this mystery?
Can they return the lost memories?
And who is this green-haired girl?

I still have no idea what route you're going for with this story. :applejackunsure:

That'sthe plan, Darling. :raritywink:

Also, I'm afraid fire-based mind-reading doesn't make as much sense in this context.

9570261
Well, Sunset is a demigod, everyone just thinks she used up all that power in her attempts to save Sci-Twi when Cinch used the death spell wand on Midnight Sparkle.

Ouch. Definitely feeling bad for Sunset here. Of course, we know Wallflower is messing with the memories of the others, but Sunset doesn't yet. And, really, Starswirl, you should have taught Clover to put dangerous magic items in a super-high-security vault under constant guard rather than burying them in another kingdom.

But, anyway, REALLY good job on the exchanges, characterizations, future chapter set-up and past adventure/misadventure references in all the right places.

That was quite possibly one of the worst times for Trollestia to have tried joking. I personally wouldve seen that face, turned round, left, and classed anything further she said in platitudes as a lie as she obviously wasnt taking things seriously. :twilightoops:

Didnt Sunset get an image from Juniper last time, or am I thinking of a different chapter elsewhere?

To quote The Joker, "why so serious?". Celestia is trying to relieve some of tension there and there really wasn't and isn't another time for her to do that.
And yes, Sunset used her magic to see the truth in the last story, that's how Sunset plans to find the person who found and used the memory stone by looking into their memories.

Wait, so she knows about the stone's last location but not about the time limit. I can't decide if the suspense has been mitigated or not. :applejackunsure:

Sunset then released her hold on Sunset. She blinked two times as she processed everything she just saw in Wallflower’s memories. Her pupils narrowed and she glared at Wallflower. “You erased everyone's memories!” she shouted.

Excuse me? :applejackunsure:

I'm so confused. I mean, that last story seems to suggest that the stone was erasing everyone's memories of her on it's own, unless it isn't. :applejackunsure: But what if it is? :pinkiegasp: But what if it isn't? :applejackunsure: But what if it is? :pinkiegasp: And now, I've confused myself. :applejackconfused:

Corrected. And memories are a fickle thing.:ajsmug:

Thoughts on the story is progressing

Once again, you did a great job on the finale (as well as the story in general). Okay, to be fair, this was already one of the best in the EG series so it didn't require much work. Still, really good job on the exchanges, characterizations and wrap-up in all the right places. I especially liked Twilight's reaction to the fact that Sunset was dating her counterpart as well as how well Trixie and Sunset worked as a team and Sunset acknowledging that, while she HAS come a long way, she STILL has a long way to go. And, yeah, also loved the detail of Trixie giving Sunset the inspiration to forgive Wallflower (after all, much worse villains than her were forgiven FOR much worse than messing with memories).

You misspelled "angel." :ajbemused:

I still don't know why she erased Sunset bumping into her at the movie theater. :applejackunsure:

9596398
She doubted that Sunset would remember her and she accidentally triggered the stone to erase the encounter

9596422
Has she been doing that all along and never realized it? :twilightoops: (sarcastically) Gee, that's not scary at all.

9596434
She has been doing it both deliberately and unintentionally. As for how long... I leave that to the readers imagination:trollestia:

Good start, and although i don’t ship sci-twi with sunset, i’m enduring it for the story

9641001
I normally don't either, it just developed as I wrote
