Found the show in late 2015, and fell in love with it. I also like D&D (3 and 3.5), Fansty novel and movie, Sci-Fi movies. MarbleMac is Best Ship and Flashlight is a fair second

This story is a sequel to My Little Mages: An Apprentice’s Holiday

Shortly after the Sunset Festival, Starlight, Trixie, Discord, and the newly crowned King Thorax are honored with Mystica's highest reward for actions of bravery, The Pink Hearts of Courage.

However, as the party starts after the ceremony, Discord points out how far Starlight has come and that Twilight needs to address that in her teaching.

Twilight needs advice, who better than her own mentor, Princess Celestia.

This will be nice to see continue. I'm pretty sure that "Shadow Play" will be EPIC when we get there after this fic.

BTW, you could make it possible for Big Mac and Sugar Belle to meet during the party at the castle. That way, it ties into the actual series and gives a reason for how they met.

Nice to see also this being remade.

Nice job adding Kevin, and his explanation about how he's wandering away from the hive. Does that mean that you'll do the "Slice of Life" episode in this version eventually?

Not much to say. There isn't that much of a difference from the actual episode other than a few small details.

He was just kind of there, and someone else already mentioned him. I didn't really have anything else to add.

Liked that mention of Big Mac, Sugar Belle, and Marble. And now we move onto Celestia explaining why she's laughing.

Okay, it doesn't look like you're doing anything too ambitious with this story. Then again, I guess it didn't really need any major overhauls.

I must applaud Big Mac for his luck with women!

You poor guy. Okay. Just take a deep breath and ask yourself one question: Do I really need to adapt all that? Well, do ya, punk? :ajsmug:

Well, Dirty Harry, I am calling your bluff. Go and pull the trigger.:rainbowdetermined2:

Well, I suggest that you finish up some that are still in progress. After that, try and catch up with the Equestria Girls stories before moving onto the Pillars.

All I can say is that you did a great job on the exchanges, characterizations, general wrap-up and future story set-up in all the right places. Indeed, wonderful work combining general episode faithfulness with little added details that make things make more sense in this universe.

As for future stories, yeah, that IS a lot of material, but I would suggest going in chronological order (i.e. finish the Siren's Song, THEN the "Friendship Games" analogue, THEN the other stuff).

Plus, when you get to the "Legend of Everfree" analogue, you can include details of some of the Season Seven episodes (i.e. Rainbow, Applejack, Rarity, Fluttershy and Pinkie each telling a story of one of the Pillars around the campfire) AND the "friendship retreat" B-story of "All Bottled Up" (i.e. the reason Twilight and her friends are at the camp).

But these ARE meant to be just humble and polite suggestions. You don't have to do it that way if you don't want to and I can and DO respect that.

But whatever you decide, I'll still be looking forward to more of your work.

Yeah, I'd say that your writing schedule will be full for a while. It'll be a ride and a half, but it'll be a good one, I'm sure.

Now I am wondering just what Celestia isn't telling twilight, the guards and even spike seems to know but twilight doesn't.

Umm... :rainbowhuh:The guards are commenting on Celestia's pacing, they are part of a flashback.
As for Celestia and Spike... :raritywink:

"Yeah!" Starlight said in defeat. There was a pause as she started to head back to[beat]Starlight Glimmer: No, I'm not.

Huh?

So kevin’s the changling during slice of life, nice

Ok, I’m kinda going through these stories one after another while at work and don’t really comment due to low to no reception….but I just gotta say: is there a reason why you must always explain what characters look like? Maybe it wasn’t a problem when the stories were coming out but even at this point in time, I think we know how Twilight et al(thanks for teaching us that phrase) look like and should really be saved for new characters or some we don’t always see.

I know I’m shouting at the past but it’s just got me curious as I once again, skipp past character introductions once again to get to the story only to see half the chapter been skipped :rainbowderp:

Other then that, been enjoying the Mages AU :pinkiehappy:

I would have loved to just omit character descriptions, but these weren't exactly coming out in order and some of the characters haven't appeared in awhile since I wrote with them.
