Wallflower Blush, driven by loneliness, fear, jealously, and anger, used the Memory Stone to make folks in CHS think that Sunset Shimmer was still a bully. Doing so sparked an incident that helped drive the Sonic Rainbooms to do the unthinkable: they betrayed Sunset.
When the dust settled after a tragic sacrifice and the stone's destruction, Wallflower renounced her cruel ways and Twilight Sparkle apologized to Sunset for not believing her to be a good person. She would not be the last to do so as the girls affected by that fiasco reflect on themselves and seek to move forward...

Something like this is what I've longed for, in a real world scenario, an incident like that would make the girls reflect on how they acted when under the stone's influence. And I'm glad you showed it, have a like and a follow.
Personally I don't blame her for being mad a very stupid petty grudge against someone for something that sunset had no control over ruins sunset life and she just supposed to suck it up and not be mad at wallflower. And sunset had every right to be upset at the games considering Sci twi almost got everyone turned into giant Venus fly trap food including her best friends. Sci twi was reckless with her experiment and people almost got hurt. She should have stopped when she saw that it was opening dimensional rifts.

Sunset had every right to be angry on both accounts and she knows that.
What she's afraid of is losing that self-control that she worked so hard to build for herself.
She didn't have to worry about that with Sci-Twi. With Wallflower, though, it was very different!
Thank goodness for Trixie and geode magic!
11610416
Yeah but someone might want to teach it's all right to be upset and angry. It's how you handled it that matters. She gotten to point where she fears any negative emotions and that isn't healthy for anyone. The whole group needs therapy. And sci twi did need to learn that if you almost hurt people you have to expect people aren't going to be happy with you. She needs to build up her self confidence in order to survive the next time someone isn't happy with her.

Thank you for the support, man. I MAY have taken a bit of inspiration from one of your recent stories when writing the first chapter!
As for the girls reflecting, remember:
The Memory Stone's influence on them was not the only thing they reflected on...
11610419
Funny thing is, she built up that self-confidence already in Rainbow Rocks (The Dazzlings bucked with the wrong mare)! The outburst against Wallflower scared her, yes, but she's stronger than you might think.
Still, the Bacon Girl has a lot of growing to do if she wants to heal up the invisible scars of hers.
The girls are in a similar boat and they know that. But, what will the Humane 7 do to heal those scars?
I can't wait to write about that!
What’s the Friendship is Worth It Timeline all about?
11610442
I've been writing an AU series for Equestria Girls with stories that (hopefully) fit within the show's timeline.
You'll find the details in this blog post: https://www.fimfiction.net/blog/1004077/friendship-is-worth-it-series-info
I've also updated the story description with the link (I FORGOT ABOUT IT!).

I meant sci twi needs self confidence. Sunset just needs to forgive herself and understand how to accept negative emotions and how to manage life with them without becoming a bully and maybe even worse.
If it wasn't for the idea that the humane 6 still held some resentment toward Sunset in this story, I would say that it really wasn't their fault for being mean or distrusting toward Sunset while under the memory stone's influence, though I think it would make sense for them to feel so bad about it. After all, they literally couldn't help only having negative feelings toward Sunset since they didn't have the memories of her deeds post-reformed (or the nicer side of Sunset in Sci-Twi's case) so they were seeing Sunset as they would the pre-reformed Sunset, and it would make no sense for them to suddenly be nice to that version of Sunset. Especally since it took Princess Twilight for the humane 5 to even give Sunset a chance. If I were to go meta, it would be if a Sunset fan somehow lost their memories of all EQG material except the first movie, so all they would remember is how they felt about Sunset at the end of EQG 1. If they still hated her back then but Rainbow Rocks made them like her, then it would make no sense for them to suddenly not hate her, since the reason that made them stop hating her (Rainbow Rocks) isn't known to them.
But I like how the humane 7 are going to try to help Wallflower out. Maybe she doesn't deserve it, but neither did Sunset at the end of the first EQG, and we saw how she turned out! Stories like these also make me wonder, from a fandom and in-unverse point of view, of how would Rainbow Rocks would have gone if Sunset was fully forgiven and accepted from the get-to by the whole school, simllar to how Starlight Glimmer was fully forgiven as soon as she reformed. For that matter, I wonder how the fans feel about her since this Sunset wouldn't have to "earn" the redemption the way she had to canon, which was a big reason why she went to be no beloved.
11610427
It's cool. I actually don't mind it all. I can understand why you need a little inspiration.
11610463
Hmmm... I'll say this much without going into spoiler territory:
The Memory Stone opened an emotional Pandora's Box for the Humane 7.
Just like the box of Greek myth, it's not gonna be closed...
I would not refer to human Twilight as "Scit-Twi" in the text, just because she's never been called that in canon, unless you plan to bring in Princess Twilight at some point.
11610603
It was nickname by the company to tell the difference between the two. Don't be so picky.
I liked this chapter, I like how you are handling the situation.
At least wallflower has realized that using the stone in the first place was a bad idea and that it wasn't sunset fault. She might need some help to get her newfound self confidence and her social anxiety and her self forgiveness under control but she doing better than sunset who is trying not to be afraid that if she gets upset that everyone will see a monster and they will be right.

Wallflower and the Rainbooms now walk their own paths to self-healing.
Thankfully, they are not braving the weather ahead alone.
A great start and love that they talked out a lot of what I always believed to be unresolved issues. Have a 👍
11612027
Thanks! I'm glad you enjoyed this chapter!
Yeah, this is a talk that I imagine happened off-screen. I figured it be great to write my take on what the talk might have looked like.
After all, the girls drop the running joke forever after this and are pretty sweet with Sunset overall in canon.
Beautiful story!
11612110
Thank you!
Really enjoying this, and I guess they most likely did have that discussion off screen though it would have been so much better to have it on screen. Seems like Wallflower is getting more friends, and seeing the hints toward AaM, the CMC might be really good choices as they have some experience with messing up and hurting others around them.
I agree, we need Sunset emojis! A beautiful end to a great story, thank you for writing it.
11613258
I do agree that it would have been lovely to see our favorite band of girls talk things out on camera.
As for the CMCs, all I'll say is that theirs is a perspective on things that drives them to keep themselves busy...
11613262
You are quite welcome!
Some fun-facts about this tale for you all: The second chapter was the one that needed the most editing done, mainly because I really had to get the CMCs' actions and motives right, doubly so for Wallflower. That and the chapter was a tad rushed to honor the birthday schedule I made for myself, so some after-post editing work had to be done!
The first chapter is right up there in terms of editing work, but that was because the Rainboom's Pinkie Promise, and what led to it, are mighty important to the Friendship is Worth It series!
11613273
Happy (belated) birthday!
11613290
Well, that's certainly belated and a half, but thank you!
Oh
You mean my birthday!
I was referring to the EQGs' B-Day!
Nice Job Man
11613469
Thanks, man!
11613294
Oops, misread I guess lol. Sorry about that.
This is really some awesome work GJ! It feels like I’m witnessing the evolution of your writing. Seeing the added charm and character in a lot of the expressions and sentences you use. It feels like almost every sentence has grown more laconic and important, as a result, becoming more beautiful in turn. Weight in a sentence structure is not so easily defined, but that’s something I feel you’re getting better and better at with each chapter of your works!
In the case of your story, you know me, I love wholesome things so this is 100% down my alley. A tale of redemption is a tale for me. Also, I loved that little moment with the Pinkie Promise in the first chapter, and you can’t go wrong with giving one of the best songs in EQG a bit of added context.
11618087
Thanks man! I'm super glad to know that my writing is improving!
Weight in my writing, you say... I THINK I get it.
As I wrote this story, I tried to make sure the characters were acting in the ways I figured they would act during certain scenes (this is something I do for all of my writing these days). Like, when Pinkie's glorious cotton candy hair lost a bit of its poofiness when she got really sad over a lost smile or Applejack's tendency to feel emotions on the inside. Having the characters behave in ways that they would behave during certain scenes gives those scenes, and thus the writing, more weight to them, especially in the eyes of readers who understand these characters.
Ex: Wallflower Blush fighting her own tendency to run from a tense conversation. She is no fan of confrontations, so when she's standing firm when being confronted, that's a big deal!
I hope all of that makes sense!
everyone feels so in character here I adore this fic sm I love communication

Thank you! Given the situation I put the characters in, they HAD to be in character for this chapter to work!
Guess that explains what Big Mac was doing singing in the cafeteria.
I still get the chills whenever I hear or read them myself. Forgotten Friendship is one of 2 eqg specials I'm not a fan of watching in whole!

Oh man, my stories are being blessed by SciSetShimmerEvan's grammar posts!
Seriously though, thank you for the grammar suggestions and story comments! You pointed out some glaring errors that I'll resolve, honestly. But, you have also put a spotlight on my style of writing for me (ex: 'wont to do' vs. 'want to do' and putting periods at the end of character dialogue), which is interesting.

Despite the huge pile of mistakes that I found, this was pretty good. I'm sure this is exactly what happened after the event of the special. Canon or not, it is in this fans opinion.

I looked up how commas are used in dialogue and OH MY LORD, ALL OF MY STORIES HAVE PROBLEMS! THE SHEER BUCKING ARROGANCE ON MY PA-!
