Starfire is the dutiful assistant to Principal Celestia. Rarely seen by the student body, he works hard to one day become a Principal himself and do his school proud. One day, Principal Celestia and Vice-Principal Luna offer him a chance to take a walk in the shoes of a Principal. Of course, as he will quickly find out, this walk won't be done in the typical fashion. Life in CHS, after all, is far from typical.

Wallflower Blush, driven by loneliness, fear, jealously, and anger, used the Memory Stone to make folks in CHS think that Sunset Shimmer was still a bully. Doing so sparked an incident that helped drive the Sonic Rainbooms to do the unthinkable: they betrayed Sunset.

When the dust settled after a tragic sacrifice and the stone's destruction, Wallflower renounced her cruel ways and Twilight Sparkle apologized to Sunset for not believing her to be a good person. She would not be the last to do so as the girls affected by that fiasco reflect on themselves and seek to move forward...

After a fun-filled Winter, which included a dramatic snowball war and a souffle, Sunset Shimmer is hoping that this Spring will be a mostly peaceful one.

Given all the adventures, mishaps, and mayhem (magical and otherwise) that she and the Rainbooms have gone through, who could blame her for wanting the break that they have been enjoying to last a little longer?

Life, as if responding to that desire with a snicker, sends the girls revelations, mysteries, magical antics, and blasts from the past to test them and their friendship at every turn.
