After my grandfather passed away I inherited a strange staff from him. I discovered that the staff gave me strange visions of a place I had to go to. I experienced visions, day and night, and in the end I decided to follow them to see where they would take me. I did not expect to be taken away from Earth and sent to a place that defies everything I know, and I certainly did not expect to hear that not all the members of my family were human.

My first fic posted here, told from a 1st person perspective. Rated Teen to begin with, this may change as more ideas develop, but I'll try my best to keep it Teen.

After running away from an abusive home our hero/protagonist is granted a wish by the most unlikely of things. He awakes in Equestria with a new body, new life, and new challenges. What is in store for our boy? Read and find out.

Duke Winters had a rather dull life, no family, not too many friends, and certainly no children. But one fateful day, he fell into Equestria and was given the task of raising six alicorn foals, foretold to save their land. Now armed with a disguise, an extended lifespan, and the lessons that his parents taught him, will he raise these foals and protect them? Or will he flop like the failure that he thinks he will be?

'To whoever gets this message, we're in desperate need of help.'

'Equestria...Equestria is on the brink of being destroyed. Sombra, Tirek and many other villains are taking over our world. The Ambassadors of Harmony are nowhere to be found and Celestia and Luna...Faust, Celestia and Luna. I don't know who you are and I don't care, just as long as you can save us. And if you can't do that, then at the very least...'

It is the closing year of World War II. Discord is sad that one of the most chaotic events he has seen in the multiverse is about to end. To make himself entertained, he decides to bring some of the human's favorite "Toys" to his world...tanks. However there is one problem,... They don't have sentience to cause chaos. Well Discord can fix that!

When a Necromancer is hurled into the place between places then escapes to another world at the cost of his life it is not the end. Being a Necromancer he returns to life with ease, but is skirting the edges of consciousness, and unable to truly wake as a mysterious figure uses magic to put him on the back of a horse to carry him away into the night.

To make matters worse the phylactery he used to save his own life recreated him as a member of the dominant race with... some errors. His injuries are still present and he's now in a much smaller body with his magic drained to nothingness.

So now he's horribly injured, held captive by an unknown force, in an unfamiliar body, in an unfamiliar world and completely exhausted. He's had worse days. He just can't think of any off the top of his head. So familiar territory then, nothing to worry about.

Flurry Heart's Crystaling didn't quite go as planned. After vanishing in a powerful magical surge, she became the most high-profile missing pony case in Equestrian history. Twilight leads the search to find her, before it's too late.

Unbeknownst to her, Flurry has already been found, by an unfortunate human who happened to be hiking near the place she appeared. Flurry Heart's magic is irresistibly powerful, and soon changes all around her to suit her whims. Soon Flurry's rescuer is fighting to reverse the magic, before the authorities notice and separate him from the only possible source of help.
