There's no turning back now.
My own gripe is the main character's lack of questioning and reaction. He was just ripped from his own world and into another afterall. Hopefully you'll have him ask where he is, why he's where, how'd he get here, is this real, how it's possible, etc, afterall, fictional just became a reality, which is something that never happens in the realworld. Remember, he is only human mentally despite having a new body, he doesn't have the experience nor the knowledge of how his body, powers, weapons, etc, work.
