Yesterday, somebody favorited a story of mine; and sometimes I click thru to see the favorites list of people who favorite my stories (like I'm doing now!). I looked at his list, and noticed he'd removed my story from it. Serves me right for being nosey!

Thank you for the compliment. And yes, authors receive a notice when they get a favorite unless a person makes their favorites list private. Some authors like to personally thank readers who went the extra step and favorited a story while others feel like it just adds clutter to a user's main page. Some users turn off their Main Page's comment section because they don't like constantly getting thanks from authors after they favorite a story. I'm glad you liked reading it.

I didn't know authors could tell when i favorite a story. I enjoyed it very much. It took me about a week to read in between work to finish. I didn't realize how much I liked it until I caught up with the story. I thought it would take close to a month to read when I started. (I don't really have a great attention span and usually take frequent breaks when reading) but I guess I just couldn't put your story down.
