The lives of Celestia, Luna, Cadance, Shining Armor, Spike, and the Mane Five have gone downhill. They all reflect on the events that led to their situation. The changelings were beaten but the wedding was cancelled. Prince Jewelius, another nephew of Celestia and younger cousin of Cadance, holds all of them responsible for the disaster. He then has the three princesses removed from power and all ten of them exiled from Equestria while he takes the throne for himself. With the fate of Twilight Sparkle unknown, the group of outcasts decide to return to Equestria to find their beloved unicorn friend and earn back their lives. But Jewelius is determined to get rid of them no matter the cost.

Spike wakes up on the side of an unfamiliar road, with only a confusing memory of the night before and a very unspecific note in his hand. Following the road, he finds himself in the town of Dragonsville, a rural town in the direct center of the country of Serpentia, land of love, tolerance, and harmony. Upon entering the town, he comes face-to-face with the most confusing group of dragons he's ever met: Pinkie Pie, the baker; Rainbow Dash, the stunt flyer; Applejack, the farmer; Rarity, the designer; Fluttershy, the animal enthusiast; Twilight Sparkle, the librarian; and Spike, the #1 assistant, who also happens to be a unicorn, a species most rare in this land.

And so begin the most incredible two weeks of Spike's life...

After the most bizzare week of her life, Starburst, the daughter of Princess Twilight Sparkle, finds herself in a relationship with Starfall. Despite their personalities being opposite of one another, she agreed to go on a date with the unicorn, and fell asleep next to him feeling happy and safe.

But will this relationship survive the test of time? Between Starfall's not so great beginnings in Ponyville, his tragic past, Starburst's family's attitude, and, worst of all, her friends' merciless jokes, does it even stand a chance?

Flash is now suffering from depression, and with nopony wanting to talk to him anymore, Flash questions his sanity, and, in what direction will his life go as he struggles to pull himself out of his depression. Just how long will it take for Flash to finally crack, or with somepony help him before that day comes?
