After being rudely awoken from Cryo-sleep, John-117 finds that the Forward Unto Dawn has been sucked into a gravity well, causing it to fall towards an unknown planet. In the crash, he is separated from Cortana and falls alone into the Everfree forest. In addition to this new complication, old memories from a scarred and tragic past haunt his dreams, putting his remaining sanity on edge.

However, he has little time to ponder these thoughts, as he encounters the planet's... peculiar... inhabitants.

DARPA, the Pentagon's team of mad scientists, have cooked up something interesting. A portal to another dimension? Why? Better question- why not? Somehow sensing a military application from this, generals from around the world cobble together a task force to go investigate this new land and mark sites for later exploitation. Backed up by the fury of the world's modern military forces, they launch their operation into this strange realm. When they discover a bright, happy universe full of talking ponies, they realize the folly of what their mission is. How will Equestria react to people whose confessed profession is being expert fighters? Matter of fact, how will Equestria react to PEOPLE?

Captain Alex "Blitz" Noah, the commander of the M1 Abrams "Retribution II", is accidentally teleported to another dimension with his crew and tank while testing experimental shielding devices. The crew unsure of what has happened find themselves in a colourful world full of ponies?! This is my first fic so if you find any errors please show me and I'll fix them.

Princess Celestia, along with Luna, Cadence, and Shining Armor, are overjoyed by the Element of Magic's return, but are justifiably curious as to where she had been and what she had been doing. And so, Twilight begins her tale. A tale of survival against impossible odds. A tale of a people fighting for the most basic right of all sentient beings. The right to exist.

A young video game loving, guns a blazing, and closet Brony, Airman on leave guy goes on a shooting trip that was supposed to be relaxing. But fate sends him to an unlikely place... The Everfree Forest! Can he use his military training to get home? Can he help a young filly and a misunderstood Princess get home? Will he help a restless ghost receive justice and peace? Will he rid Equestria of the Blanks and the Bloody Hooves? And will he just accept being a brony? Takes place in CreepyPasta universe of Story of the Blanks and Super Filly adventure fan games.

NOTE!!: This story is currently in the process of being re-written/heavily edited. Many of the flaws of the story will get fixed in the following months. The story ( while technically complete ) will be labeled as incomplete. I'm also adding a new scene and I'm thinking of adding non-canon endings but as of now, misspellings, grammar mistakes, multiple POVs, and any other areas that need fixing will be my main focus for this. Chapters that have been edited with be marked with an asterisk. Whether a chapter has been redone or not redone, I hope you'll enjoy the story either way. Cole had been the most successful military commander in the history of the UNSC, winning twenty-five consecutive battles against the Covenant. His accomplishments were remembered, and he was honored as a fallen hero. But do heroes ever truly die?

This story takes place immediately after the "Death" of Preston J. Cole in the short story; The Impossible Life and the Possible Death of Preston J. Cole, written by bestselling author Eric Nylund. The story is from the novel, Halo Evolutions Volume 1.

I highly recommend that you read this short story, so that you may better understand Cole's back-story. Otherwise this crossover may be slightly confusing to the readers.

Also, the drawing of Cole on the left depicts him from his younger days. In the story he is over seventy years old, so as you can tell the picture is not up to date, but it was the best I could find. If anyone knows of a better, high resolution image of him, or his ship I would appreciate knowing about it. Pretty much anything that you will find will be fan-made, so that doesn't matter.
