Applebloom has had a room of her very own for over a year now, and she no longer has scary dreams when she's all alone in the dead of night. But something has come back to visit her, and this time she's old enough to know two things: it's not her friend, and it's not imaginary.

Spike has remained a baby while everyone else is growing up. His desire to do the same, however, lands him in a hospital bed with a strange new body.

Ponies are treating him differently, the world he once knew is no longer the same, and the onset of sudden changes are hard to adapt to. Fortunately, Scootaloo is there to ease him through his recovery.

Now she keeps envisioning illusions of Slender Mane that she thinks are real, nopony understands what she is seeing and waves it off as insanity. Now she doesn't know who else to turn to. Can Twilight overcome her insanity?

Legends, over time, fade to myth. And myth fades to stories. And stories fade to make-belief. The mere mention of humans is rare nowadays, And are regarded as simple old tales. However, Not all stories turn out to be fake. Unbeknownst to the residents of Ponyville, Something is watching them. The shadows of the trees of the Everfree hide it from ponykind...

An unfortunate turn of events finds Spike changed into an Earth pony. Rarity unintentionally crushed his heart and now she has to fight hard to win back his trust, his friendship, and maybe something more.
