Once upon a time, Sunset Shimmer was a terrible person. Then a pretty purple princess punched her with a rainbow.

She didn't get better.

Now she's stuck in a redemption story. Only she doesn't want to be redeemed. And it's barely a story. Can Sunset survive this satirical retelling of her rise from the ashes?

Well, she doesn't really have a choice.

This is a parody. If you haven't read the original, read that first. It's marginally better than this.

Sunset wants to practice using her empathy magic and her girlfriend, Twilight, offers to help. Twilight seems unexpectedly excited about the idea.

Through Twilight's memories, Sunset learns just how much she means to her girlfriend. How much she always meant to her ever since they became friends.

Sunset Shimmer's life was turned upside down in an instant, leaving her not only to battle her inner demons but to also try to make amends but it isn't easy to forgive or forget when someone has hurt you and it seems only a few at Canterlot High are willing to even try to see the good in her. Will the few friends she has be enough to stop her from doing something rash?

It's graduation day. Sunset watches as her friends make their plans for the future, each having dreams to chase, and college to look forward to. In contrast, Sunset is filled with uncertainty and indecision, unsure of her own path in life.

Can Sunset conquer her insecurities and, with Fluttershy's guidance, find solace?

Twilight Sparkle is engaged to Sunset Shimmer. Thankfully, they get the Sparkle house to themselves, ensuring Sunset's antics don't lead to embarrassing "walk-in" scenarios. Even so, Twilight happens to "walk-in" on Sunset and her pajamas.

Twilight Shimmer wants something more for her married life with her true love. She wants another member of the family. At the same time, she learns just how much she and Sunset mean to Rainbow Dash. As the years pass, the concept of family only becomes stronger.
